However, I was very disappointed at how we were shown around by the guide. I was expecting it to be a place where visitors spend time on their own and move on their own pace. It turned out we had just at most a few mins at every each stop (while I would like to gaze at those visual effects for much longer, that's mainly what they were made for) and couldn't stay at the given spot longer because the guide was moving on really quickly and behind us there were other members of the staff making sure that we keep up with the tempo. Another huge downside is that the guide had really strong accent, she was distorting words and speaking really quickly without any intonation. As if that wasn't enough, what made me really angry was that she kept speaking to the group along with really loud voice recordings played automatically every time we reached some spot. She didn't think or care to wait just a minute at all, she just spoke together with the recording so that I couldn't understand neither the recording nor her. Basically I managed to understand maybe 10% out of all words adressed to the visitors.
I ended up really angry and disappointed. I would love to see that place again and stay there for longer than roughly 20-30 minutes that they mercifully gave us, while making every effort to make us not understand the message.
This pavilion's theme is well put from the start of your tour until the last.
Aside from the realistic and gigantic statues, the place also highlights the background of mobility from the early ages, to the present time, and futuristic ideas.
I personally liked the message being portrayed of embracing the future and not forgetting the past.
It's just awesome!
Also commended the tour guide (sorry I forgot his name), but he was exceptional and high energy, assuming everyone there is friendly and hospitable.
We have queued today infront of east entrance which we used before to enter with out 2 babies. When I reached the end, they told me it's only for previous bookings. If that's the case, a sign is not in place?
While they gave an exception to a person in front of us, they refused to give us the same.
We respected the queue to realize it's not for us at the end, no signs and finally give some visitors an exception and others not is something that I never saw in UAE.
One of the best pavilion at Expo2020. Outclass work. Mindblowing lights, art, decorations. Words can't define this Alif - The Mobility Pavilion Highly Recommended!
The best pavilion in the EXPO. The most artistic, innovative and creative pavilion. It talks alot about the history of movement, history of arab scientist and explorers and also has a glimpse of the Mars satellite with future visions
Although the place is still under construction, it is now taking shape. Its Pavilion, Zaha Hadid's magnificent design which is shaped like a stacked up fidget spinner, is a marvel to watch. I loved it and pretty sure wanna see what it looks like when it finishes.
