I really had a good experience on how they take care of my babies and very accomodating staff, truly recommend this vet clinic

To save your time and save those small creatures from pain. If you find an injured stray cat don't go to them. We found this stray cat badly injured unable to use her arm and it was the night so they were the only option. At the first branch in the palm they were considerate and applied a cleansing solution to the wound after we told them that we can't afford +800 for consultation and they told us that it would be half of the charge at daytime. So when we went back to this branch in JLT. We paid around 500 dhs for a consultation that felt like a sales deal where they don't disclose anything untill you do this and that test.for example any person can tell that the arm is broken but they weren’t even willing to declare it. And spending our consultation money to pitch about the cat food brand they are working with? I mean I understand it's a business but as vets how can you just discard a creature's suffering for money? And it's not that we weren't willing to pay anything we told them we will pay as much as we can but they kept adding charges till it went up to 5000 dhs. And on top of everything when we told them we can't afford it and that we would need to take her to the municipality the vet had the audacity to tell us "oh poor kitty" to guilt trip us while we were literally in tears. No regards for humans nor animals. It just makes me very sad as a human to know that this is how animals are treated when they're stray. The cat is fully healthy except for her arm so putting her down isn't in the picture at all. And we treated her at a different place and at the moment she's at our house safe and recovering. And she didn't even need all the procedures.

Best place for pets medical needs! My furball is always healthy.

Amazing team! They have been taking care of my precious almost 4 year old Golden Retriever pup since he was a baby! We are so happy with the services.

I’ve been a happy customer for a couple years now because of the little babies in our family - but recently we got a cute new addition (my own, for the first time) - Kiki and I’ve never been happier with a clinic’s services. These amazing people really know what they are doing! I’ve been so at peace after getting my kitten neutered from them. The entire procedure and protocol is extremely professional. Their Whatsapp service especially is outstandingly amazing with responses being literally instant - a big thank you to Algiene. The other star staff - Dr. Frederick, Francis the nurse, lovely receptionists, Jen at the emergency line at night and literally every other person I’ve interacted with at the clinic made me feel so at ease and gave me the exact information I required. Instantly felt hugely relieved every time I raised a concern. Kiki was and will be in great hands undoubtedly and I’m super grateful to each of them for keeping my baby safe and secure! I’m sure I’ll always be coming here for anything pet-related, hands down

We had a great experience with our dog who had 2 surgeries with Modern Vet JLT and Dr Vlad. Felt safe and Bella was is good hands. Staff is so caring and sweet. Bella is post 5 days and doing great.

I brought my stray kitten for his first visit and I was told that he was perfectly healthy and they sold me a package for vaccination however after doing the deworming he started feeling tired and he suddenly died after 3 days. When I told them about it they called me to offer price for cremation which I refused to do with them. I requested for a partial refund at least as I was not going to do any of the services included in the package and they told me I will be contacted by the manager but nobody contacted me. They only care about the money, they will not take care of your pet, do not trust them!

Well that’s weird that you couldn’t find my name in your system as I was bringing my cats to your clinic not once. I even ll add the photos of their vaccination cards from your clinic.
Learn to be polite to get a better reviews please.
But yes, your staff was not able to properly schedule their appointments and that’s why we had to delay our wedding trip last year, simply to be able to finish with their vaccination.
So before calling me a spam please train your staff to identify your customers who btw pay not a small amount of money for their service.
Will reduce by one more star for your rude message here (not surprised tho) My name isn’t fake and given to me by my late grandfather and even more I have the same in my ID and in your clinic records. Maybe teach your team to read.
So for the future customers I would not recommend to start with them. Better research for more reliable place with the people who can provide better care for your fur babies.

I've always had a great experience with Modern Vet and I always feel my 16 y/o pekingese is in good hands with Dr Joanna ️and recently and met and loved Dr Shifna. Nurse Jeff and Naresh was an excellent support during the consultation and thanks Ana and the rest of the reception team for always answering my questions through whatsapp about the care of my baby, you guys make a great team!

The worst experience ever
We were first clients in the morning 7: 00am, as our dog was not feeling well and we needed help. Below my point:

1. Doctor is not available at that time in the clinic
2. If you don't have appointment then no one will assist you, however immediately they are giving you optionals to go in other branch for "as an emergency" and to pay AED 400 for the consultation only
3. If we could afford to pay AED 400 only for consultation don't you think at 5am we could go to any emergency service and pay the same?
4. Nothing is intended except consultation for AED 400
5. Once we asked for appointment the only availability was found after 11: 30am

Very disappointed and we were actually considering this clinic to become our permanent one for anything related to our dog

ModVet JLT have a great asset of Veterinarians and Nurses… But I want to highlight as I couldn’t thank The team of Dr John, Nurse Jeff, Nurse Karen, Nurse Francis and Ana enough for their outstanding service but more importantly their hospitality and availability… Especially Nurse Jeff and Dr John who’s been laser-focus of the welfare of our fur babies. With Dr John and Nurse Jeff intrinsic hands they were able to manage our Luna and also to mention Nurse Jeff demonstration of outstanding pet-care that despite the numerous clients, he still find time to take an extra mile to ensure we became good fur-parents. Hence, please don’t hesitate entrusting your fur family with Modvet as they only seek what’s best for them!

My fluffy one always had a good experience here. My only critique is location but it’s not too bad.

Our husky was vomiting and having diarrhea, we panic and took him to Modern Vet, which was the nearest clinic to us here in JLT, he was immediately taken cared of by Dr Vlad’s team and they were very helpful and we are very satisfied with the service, however, we are giving 4 stars only because the cost is very expensive. Expensive compared to other vets. But I would like to mention with high regards, Nurse Karen, her extraordinary assistance to our baby is much appreciated. There are nurses who does their job well but going out and beyond should be recognize. Credits should be given we’re credits are due. To Nurse Karen, thank you so much for caring and for doing an outstanding job. We owe to you and your team that our baby is well now.

I got Dr vladi to take care of my little bby Mickey, Mickey needs some dental cleaning and as well small surgery and the experience I got was excellent, Dr vladi was from the begging To the end, without any hidden fees or taking advantage, he was very professional and he was honest and super helpful with all Mickey requirements.really am super happy to find him …

Took my dog for a lung X-Ray in December, was told by the vet that everything was fine and no problem at all. Paid 1200 dirhams and was given some medication which is incredibly expensive. Went yesterday (March) as the same dog was sneezing and another vet at the JLT branch pulls up the Xray from December and spends the first part of the consultation telling me how bad my dogs spine is. This was completely ignored by the vet in December because I had gone in for a lung issue and not a spinal issue. Disgusting! He was making it so clear how bad my dogs back was that I started to cry in the consultation room as I was so shocked as I had never been informed of her spinal problems. I was not even given a tissue to dry my eyes or reassured at all. I was left standing there in the room crying my eyes out after initially believing they must have a mistake and are talking about a different dog. I then received some links to articles from the manager by email telling me that the spinal issue is reguarly seen in the breed and thats why I wasnt told when it was discovered in December. I could have put preventative measures in place for my dog 3 months ago if i had known, but because I did not pay for a spinal evaluation they didnt bother to tell me. Only care about what you go in and pay for as opposed to ensuring your pet is in healthy overall condition. Will never ever return. AVOID

As new nervous and clueless puppy parents we visited Dr Joana - we were really really impressed and happy with how she was with our new puppy! So gentle friendly and enthusiastic! She couldn’t have been any better just wanted to say thank you for answering all our many questions and thank you for making us feel so at ease? We will only be bringing her to Dr Joana from now on ️ Cannot recommend enough

Had a bad encounter with one of the vets and when the manager got involved, she had the clinic drop our dog as a client midway through his treatment and threatened us with legal action if we don’t remove the bad review.

Great experience at Mod Vet JLT as always. Everyone were really nice specially nurse Jeff, Maki and Dr. John. Well recommended.

DONT WASTE your money and your time at this clinic. My puppy got cut by the vet who shaved her private areas last week and this is my follow up review for your all customers. Simple advice: RUN AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC.

Unprofessional, unethical, irresponsible vets who care more about their ego than our dogs.

AVOID AT ALL COST! The vets at Modern Vet JLT would rather let your dogs suffer than admit their wrongdoings.

I brought my puppy of 5 months to check her privates as I thought she had an infection (which she did not). The vet shaved the hair around her area and CUT HER SKIN. We didn’t notice right away and went back home - Although during the walk back, our puppy had difficulty walking but we thought that was just because she wasn’t used to having no hair down there. The day after, our puppy kept on itching and biting her area in a weird way and it was obvious that something was wrong.

We went back to the same vet thinking they would help us figure out what the issue was. ON THE CONTRARY, the vet told us there was nothing and that our puppy was having behavioral issues when in fact it was the vet WHO CUT HER SKIN DEEP. The vets ego was hurt and he would NOT ADMIT HIS wrongdoing. He told us to go home and DISCIPLINE OUR PUPPY. On top of that, he wanted us to pay a fee for the follow up visit. What is this logic? We had to come back for a follow up because the vet HURT our puppy. I guess the client has to pay for YOUR mistake and lack of experience/professionalism. What a JOKE. All they want is money and they couldn’t care about your dogs health.

We went to another vet WHO CONFIRMED AND SHOWED US THE CUT. He gave us an antibacterial ointment to cure our puppy while Modern Vet JLT told us to discipline our poor puppy.

SHAME on YOU “Modern” Vet.

This place is the best in Dubai, we have tried many vets around, and they really care about the pets, very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Had an emergency for my dog as she was giving birth. The staff were quick to provide great customer experience and first aid help, Jr and Karen were very helpful and gave us all the support to be calm and not panic, and the vet, Dr. Vladimir Vujicic was very caring and provided the right medical care for my dog and made her feel well.

A wonderful vet clinic starting from its super caring and sweet reception, Makgethoa, to its nurses (Jeff & Jona) and vet (Dr. John). Can’t rate them highly enough. They are some of the most professional, patient and loving people who treated my furbaby, Fifi like their own. They are flexible and easy to get an appointment. Whether its a regular checkup or an emergency, they're available, responsive, and always make sure to put your mind at ease. Thank you for always taking care of my little one and always being reassured she's in the safest and most caring hands.

Best vet that I have been to in Dubai. I was nervous taking my dog to be spayed but vet Joanna answered all my questions in detail and put my mind at complete ease. The check-up was also very thorough and the nurse Jade kept my pup calm and happy throughout.

From first visit to the most recent visit we have been very happy with the care provided for our Dog Roxy and the team has been kind to their human visitors too!
Dr Joana is an excellent Vet and truly cares for our pet. Great general and special care provided even with a rare condition like Addisons Disease we have been able to treat and manage our dogs health.

All of the doctors are amazing, skilled and reliable. I have had very good experiences for my 14 year old dog (I have been with MVC since 12 years for my same dog) Particularly recommend Dr John and Dr Vlad both in MVC JLT including their other team members Nurses Jeff and Naresh and Receptionists Makgethoa, Jr and Ayin. Everyone is very polite, helpful and generous with their time and efforts. I am moving countries but will really miss all of them and their services.

It was an amazing experience with Dr. JOANA with my dog. My dog is very aggressive but he was very much comfortable with her. She is very professional and very kind with animals. She gave us extra time and heard all our queries and guided us. Even the nurse NAS & JEFF were so good in handling the pet. Receptionist JR & AYIU were so helpful in assisting us providing us with options for treats, taking appointments

Super practical that they come fetch you and your pets. Doctor was friendly and explained things clearly

We approached MVC while for treatment of my cat. The reason why I gave 5 stars are purely based on our experience. The treatment was done by Dr. PAULINE, she is like a dolittle who can understand the animals. The way the treatment was conducted and her personal involvement and follow up for her patient is simply outstanding. If you have a pet that need veterinary attention, do consider MLC as an option. We have used JLT branch and cannot comment on other branches.

I haven’t ever seen any vet as honest and caring as the doctors Paulina and Joao. Their diagnosis is always right and they never push you or your animal through an untruthful procedure. Lovely staff and utterly reasonable prices.
I really trust them.

I have used several veterinary centers in the past but none compared to the staff professionals at Modern Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Paulina and Dr. Joao, and I'm sure the whole medical team, are extremely professional, thoughtful, patient, and kind of spirit. The care, and treatment my dog receives is top draw. They take time to explain all to me and even make follow calls to see how my dog is doing. The desk staff fast, and are kind to all.no matter how busy it is. Wish there were a 6th star so I can click on it!

I was a new cat owner and they answered every question I had. By far the best veterinary care available in Dubai. Dr. Paulina and Dr. Joao genuinely care about their patients and will work with you to provide the best treatment. I HIGHLY recommend MVC!

I was quoted 325 AED on the phone for a vaccination. I went today to do the job, and i was presented a bill of 483. I was asked "do you want to pay 325? ". I replied up to you, i will then chose to come again or not. I was charged 483. They will never see me again. So my recommendation is to stay away straightaway.

Pampered poochies offers amazing grooming service - my puppy was smelling like a cherry blossom for one week. The staff is fantastic and super friendly and you can tell they love animals. Def recommend to everyone who truly love their pets to visit this place. A real gem!

I only gave one star because I couldn't leave a zero. I had a 3 month unlimited wash membership, and unfortunately rarely managed to get an appointment. I even politely asked for the manager to call me today, thinking she may be professional enough to handle my complaint properly. The owner called me and started the conversation with: "I hear you've been argumentative with my staff" before even listening to me.needless to say, I will never give my business to such a place.
