Pathetic. Their staff pushes you and disturbs you so much to enroll. I enrolled my son in mid September. Within two weeks I realized that I won’t be able to get him to the classes due to some personal reason and extensive traveling to my country. I told them from the second week of enrolling to them that to put his account on freeze and give me the credit note for next term. He didn’t attend even a single class. Despite of paying full payment in advance at once. And now new term has started and they are saying they will not give credit note unless it is a medical issue. Highly disappointing, unethical and have no empathy.
Mpac is truly the best basketball academy out there, athletes are taught how to stand for more at all levels and the best part of it all they're able to integrate sports with character development!
Since my 8 years old son join MPAC SPORTS, he’s gained a lot not only technically but also mentally as well emotionally. MPAC SPORTS has very professional coaches and it’s a perfect environment for a kid to grow in the game.
My son has been training with MPAC academy for over 2 years now. The academy training was fine with good coaches, great skills development. I signed him up for the MJBL 8-11 league first time this season, which was a terrible experience. It was completely unorganized at all levels.
1- The players were not fairly distributed among the teams, when it comes to both height and skills. They kept on shuffling the players the first three weeks, supposedly to have a balanced distribution among the teams, which wasn't the case at all. My son was chosen for a team in the last drill pre-league week, then they took him out and put him in another team beginning of the league, while keeping all other players in the same team. This was in favour of keeping some friends who wanted to play together for the same team as they played and won the last league playing for the same team. Keeping in mind that my son level is medium not high, so if they wanted to make it balanced, they would have moved another stronger player to another team.
2- Some coaches were very careless in the tournament compared to other coaches. They were giving basic instructions or not giving any instructions at all, while only 1 or 2 coaches were very passionate and standing on their feet the whole game giving instructions to their team.
3- My son's team coach didn't come for the most important day, the finals. They had another coach who had no clue about the team or the players. I understand coaches could get sick sometimes, but there should be some sort of coordination between them sharing information about the teams and the players.
4- The staff who were in charge of the score and the time, were not paying attention in most games, keeping the time running while the game was stopped, and not counting the scores correctly. This happened almost in every single game. They were very careless and just sitting on the their mobile phones instead of paying attention to the game.
Consider avoiding enrolling your kids in this basketball program if you're serious about their development. The frequent coaching changes disrupt the kids' rhythm, and there's a lack of communication between coaches regarding the kids' skill levels. Despite promises for improvement, parent feedback seems to be disregarded, leading to an unsatisfactory experience for both parents and kids.
This company can change the place of training and consider the pass as your fault.at the same time, it is she who changes the place that was not originally selected by you.transfers problems to the client. Please keep this in mind when choosing this company.
Wow, what an incredible experience at MPAC Sports! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The coaches create a positive and encouraging environment that fosters growth and development. I've made great progress in my basketball skills while thoroughly enjoying the overall experience. Highly recommended!
Recently, I enrolled my daughter in the skills camp at MPAC Sports, and I must say, my initial skepticism due to the low rating was completely unfounded. It turned out to be a fantastic decision, and I can confidently say that no money was wasted! Right from the beginning, their customer service was exceptional, addressing all my inquiries and ensuring a smooth enrollment process.
The sessions are incredibly enjoyable for my daughter. She comes home with a big smile on her face, and as a parent, there's no greater joy than seeing your child genuinely enjoy something.
The training was good (coaches), but the Admin and Customer Service Department was doing a terrible job since Day 1 my son joined the Academy (more than 7 years ago). Never answer calls, never answer emails, if they reply is also not a correct answer. A simple question about my son which team is in and the timing for the league, they can't give me an answer! The most efficient is to chase for enrollment with payment
I have never in my life experienced such bad quality coaching and customer service. And beware they will not make up classes for you if you get sick or have an accident. This is unacceptable Im
Please respond to my email that you or your management do not consider to postpone classes for annual leave and sick leave.even after provideding supporting documents. Why I have to go through all the struggle for weeks.you made me pay full term fee and now I suffer to get what I paid for. Keeping the money for services not provided is Haram.
While luring me to pay for full term you never mentioned that postponing class in not possible (even when annual leave or child is sick). Now referring the payment receipt (after making payment) you can not say that already it was mentioned. I feel cheated and frustrated.who authorized you to ask flight tickets, medical history, sick leave certificates. My kid is not working for you.you are not paying.you are working for him. I am paying.this is breach of privacy and harassment.
I bring my son for a trial session and approach the coach that my son will join for a trial session, he just let my son to join without even introducing him to the orher kids that there are new joiners, when training starts my son are so confuse on what to do, trainer are so lazy to explain or ti give a proper briefing for a new to boost their confidence, there are around 4 or 5 trial game session and the coach doesnt even explain my son how it works like the difference of offense and defense he dosnt know what to do for someone with zero knowledge in basketball, coach are just watching, not even talking to the team to play as a team they dont even pass the ball to my son, this is wrong for welcoming a newbie.it should start with the coach.dissapointed
Being at MPAC was a very bad and infuriating experience, and the customer service was unable to provide any service other than to ask you to pay. And very rude.
Absolutely disgusted with the service. Communication between staff is non existent. I wouldn’t recommend having to deal with this company. Sad as the coach was good. But management and staff are not.
The experience with MPAC has been so terrible, I really don’t know where to start. The classes and coaches were fun and that’s it. Everything else has been horrible, and from day one the MPAC admin team is chasing the money. My son attends other regular classes, and I never ever had any issues there making up classes when he falls sick. But with MPAC that’s different. They will not tell you in advance that they will need you to provide a doctor’s note each time your child is sick (and I believe over the last winter months many children have been sick for extended periods). I always informed well ahead of time when my son was not feeling well, and nobody told me at that point that I will need to provide detective-proof paperwork to their team. My son was genuinely sick and the MPAC team is continuously implying that as a mother I’m lying to them, and God knows what they think I was doing with him while not attending classes. I’m so fed up, seriously. Zero communication skills, each time I get calls and messages from a different person who has no record of any previous communication with me, mostly just sending more promotional messages, trying to take more money from me in any way possible. I really had hopes that this experience would be fun for my son and that he would make new friends and learn new skills, but unfortunately it’s just been a huge headache. Instead of putting the kids’ enjoyment first, all the MPAC team cares about is collecting the fees. They should cancel kids classes all together because clearly this isn’t working for them.
We have been with Mpac for 5 years with two children. Fantastic coaching and great facilities. Both children played in the 8-11 beginner league, then moved on to the 12-14 beginner league, then they progressed to the 12-14 intermediate league. There are many teams and weekly games in the season, which are competitive and refereed very well. They do a good job of balancing the teams to make the league fair. They video all games which is great that the kids can watch their games afterwards and I can share the links with family at home. Very kind and genuine coaches who care about the children. Coach Anthony in particular has coached my children for a few years and he has been very encouraging and supportive. I would recommend the league highly to friends and family. Amanda Randall
There is a filipino coach who discrimated my daughter just today only because she is a new joinee in their class. I filed a complaint against him. You better Don't bring that toxic filipino culture to other places coz we are all expats here and don't think you are always better than anyone else
After agreeing on the time and day of the week for my son to start, I made the payment and was told after that the slot is no longer available, I have been running after my refund since March, I passed by the center 3 times, got multiple phone calls, and until now I have not received my money back. It’s the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered in Dubai.
Bad service.they changed the time without informing us more than once. PLUS my son had a breathing problem at the session BECAUSE they let him practice with a higher level three times by MISTAKE… what a bad service and terrible customer care.
My child is in inter batch but MPAC provided certificate as inter fail. One staff called Jackson promised to provide certificate until i made payment and now nobody responds.
My experience with MPAC was amazing, ever since my son joined in 2016, he got way better, the coaches always cheer him up and make him improve his skills and everything. ONE OF THE BEST ACADEMIES IN UAE.
The information you have posted in response is inaccurate. Ironic that you are quick to respond to social media and reviews but not to numerous phone calls and emails. Please be honest when responding, thank you
It is one of the most horrible experiences in my life in Dubai. If you're interested at respectful academy for your son, please don't even think about MPAC. They have very unprofessional management. Once you paid the fees, you are nothing to them. From my deep heart don't come here
The best customer service, amazing training that will actually make you improve and they have great Jersey style and level of colors, just a m a z I n g
Unprofessional and very bad customer service. My son got injured while he was playing in their winter camp at mpac and the coach didn’t even give himself chance to check on my son’s foot and he made him put more pressure on the injured foot so the injured got worse because of the late treatment, I took him to the emergency right after he’s done and doctor asked to rest for 4 to 6 weeks until he recover and can play again, I emailed mpac the doctor report and shared all what doctor has said moreover called them 4 times and asked to refund for the last day but they didn’t get back to me until now, this was since December 28th, I am really disappointed with the lack of communication with the customer service at mpac, I thought they are more professional and responsible. However, with my experience I am not recommending them at all to anyone because of their bad and unacceptable way they are treating the customer.
They abused the trust I had instilled in them to take care of my child and therefore I will never be using their services ever again. Their lack of training, professionalism, responsiveness, customer care and many more essential characteristics required to run a professional business renders them unable to meet customer standards.
Shereen, same happened to me! That’s true! They are fully rude! They target the customer for one time; pay. As Nbd font comeback is their flag! They don’t care either you make progress or not. Besides, they focus on players with previous skills ONLY
MPAC is the worst organization to deal with in Dubai. They refused to refund my money after several requests. I discourage everyone not to deal with them.
It is a shame that this company presents itself as a pioneer in the field of basketball training! Perhaps a change of major is necessary at this point; How to steal people's money!
The classes have resumed but no uniforms kit have been provided.it’s been 3/4 weeks since & whenever I call the system is not updated & no call returned back after promising! Least expected even cancellation of class on JAN9th at DIA was not notified earlier! No professionalism & respect shown towards customers! Just fooling with false promises to everyone
What you see on the ground is much less than what they promise by marketing themselves. I advise everyone not to respond to their ads because they are misleading and full of lies. We paid a lot for our son to get proper basketball training, but in the end he decided to give up basketball due to the coaches' unprofessional practices, and he went for swimming, eventually!
It is a pity that this company deals with this level of low professionalism. I do not expect them to continue, especially within the policy of denying customers and not being heard and providing services that are below the expected level. The director general of the Dubai branch has deep problems that must be solved at the highest speed.shame on you!
The hey flag “we don’t care about customers” all the time. If you are thinking to join them, please read the reviews! The worst management ever. Sonia the general manager is controlling everything anc it seems there is no one to follow up (may be busy counting the money they took from people who never received training)!
The worst management ever dealt with. Once you pay the fee, you will never be contacted and you will not find anyone answering your phones. Some coaches behave badly and bully boys and girls. They do not care about the level of the students nor their improvement in their performance. I advise everyone to stay away from this company, which requires you to agree to their preconditions to cancel classes or change the training venue.
Is it to much to be able to get a hold of anyone in your office? I’ve tried every possible way to have one (1) question answered but there is no way to speak or even chat to one person from MPAC. We payed everything and would like to be treated as a customer also! Seriously disappointed to the core! And please don’t blame the virus now for not returning or answering one phone call, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp because when you need something, you sure as heck find a way to contact us. May you find some business sense and learn how to treat your customers, and may I make better decisions in the future and not pay for a nonexistent service!
Not good at all, I registered for the term 3 sessions before covid pandemic, and the sessions never started and the management refuse to refund since 2 months! I do not recommend this company at all!
Mpac is amazing! Professional coaches that train players how to dribble, pass, and shoot along with discipline and respect to other players and teammates. Great experience overall.
We absolutely love MPAC! The training they provide has dramatically boosted my daughters confidence and coach Ike always provides her with feedback on exactly what she needs to do to get to the next level. She is now at the Intermediate B level and by the end of this year her goal is to be Intermediate A. Keep it up Mpac.
Mpac Sports is the best place to be, changing people's lives through sports. Many people I have encountered speak only good things about Mpac. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS
I would highly recommend MPAC. Super professional couches! They just love kids! My son is very happy to go there every session. I can see lots of fun, dedication, professionalism and discipline!
My boys have taken classes with MPAC and have really enjoyed them! The coaches are really good at basketball and fun to train with so it is very inspiring for the kids. I highly recommend this company for youth sports!
Terrible management. The accounts department is the worst I’ve seen so far. I have a refund confirmation since March due to a change in location from their side that doesn’t suit my kids schedule. They are yet to refund! I’ve been calling them everyday and sending reminders. But hopeless, accounts are avoiding to pay and now they are avoiding my calls. Total rip off. Beware.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They put my 6 year old girl with 12-16 year old young boys and they are left unattended! I had to step in and take my girl out as they were all throwing basketballs at the same hoop! It was a matter of luck to get my little girl's nose broken by a heavy basketball! I was lucky I was there checking. I walked away with my daughter, never coming back! Now they refuse to give me a refund!
