It sounds like the quality of the food didn't meet your expectations. It's disappointing to hear about the reheated dishes and the incorrect order. Freshness and accuracy are important, especially with Kerala cuisine like Beef Fry and Porotta.

Surprisingly they do not allow zomato app for buffet. Couldn't find any such condition anywhere

The food here has become sooo much nicer from when I came here 2 years ago! They have a really great spread of food and many different options to choose from! We had such a lovely Diwali lunch buffet here and the ambience was great! Ajith had served us really well and was very accommodating! Their Malabar Fish Curry was amazing! Definitely recommend this place

Ordinary experience but priced on the higher side.little bit.you walk into this place & you will be transformed to a 90's setup. Food is alright.it's popular because its a licensed place. Service is decent.

We ordered Onam Sadhya for a get together of almost 30 ppl, yday 2nd Sep.
One of the best Sadhya in Dubai. May be in some restaurants, a few curries wud be good, rest of them may be average and below average. Here almost all curries were delicious with authentic Kerala taste. And the quantity they provided could serve almost 5.10 ppl extra. I wud like to thank Chef Shaji and Mr Vinay, FnB manager for Sadhya and their coordination.

Since I had take away I am not putting any remarks on atmosphere or ambience

I am not someone who takes the time to write a review for a restaurant or it's service every other time I go to one, but I couldn't stop myself from doing it at NALUKETTU RESTAURANT, Qusais, due to their wonderful and finger licking good food that they provide, moreover the most important thing to mention there was that I was pretty much impressed with all their staffs, one out of them, the best one, was A guy named Anand. Me and my family, who were there, all of us were soo happy with the way he treated us, took over our hearts. He won my family's hearts too, and I must say, this dosent happen everytime, and that's why it is special. A guy so talented like him must be given a higher post at their restaurant and shouldn't be kept at this level, as guys like him CAN DO SO MUCH FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE RESTAURANT AND CAN TAKE IT TO HIGHER LEVELS in very less time.

Tried out the buffet, the food was proper kerala style and very satisfying. The ambience was also very casual and relaxed.

I recently had an unfortunate experience of dining at this restaurant Nalukett Qusais.

The service was disappointing. The waitstaff seemed completely disinterested in taking order and was forcing to order buffet instead of asking us our choices. The waitstaff attitude was far from welcoming. Our orders were taken with a total lack of enthusiasm, and it felt like an inconvenience for them to fulfill even the most basic requests.

The main courses were equally disappointing; the meat was overcooked.

Whoever reading this please do not try from this restaurant.

Appam is a basic dish and it was like rubber. Specialty restaurants like this should maintain authentic taste. Not simply cook up any dish and serve to unsuspecting customers.

I’ve been here years ago and I remember enjoying the food. However this time around, it was quite a disappointing experience. Parota was not great and meat was very undercooked. Biriyani and shrimp roast were good though.

The staff was polite but the ambience isn’t great, the seats are poorly maintained. I’ve heard the management has changed, it seems very evident after this experience.

My family and myself used to love the lunch meal/sadhya from this restaurant before the COVID lockdown. The beef fry previously was 5 star rated dish. But once they reopened after the COVID lockdown, the taste was missing. We tried many times and never got the previous taste which we all liked. And later after we enquired we came to know that the management has changed. We used to go this place for about 15 years, and now that's it, we have decided never to go. We really hope the previous management takes over the restaurant or they rehire the previous chef ‍️

Place is not for family. And the food was not up to the mark. Worst thing is there was a cockroach running off of our peanut bowl. Lots of cockroaches around the tables as well. So unclean. Stay away if you care about cleanliness.

We went for their Buffet on a Thursday Night. Being Diwali and T20 running on TV, the place was pretty crowded. We reached their at about 8: 45ish. The staffs were busy yet accomodating.they provided us a nice location. The Buffet was decent and worth the AED 50 you pay. It has everything from Veg & Non Veg items, most of which are authentic Kerala cuisine. Loved all of them except the chicken dry fry. They had Live cooking station which I missed. If you like Kerala cuisine, it's a must try. I am certain to go there again. They also serve liquor and have parking facility at the basement.

We had vishu sadhya from here and it spoiled my whole vishu. The worst sadhya i ever had. Service also not that much satisfactory. I never visit this restaurant again.

Had been to this place yesterday. The service was very bad. This was not my first visit.had been to this place several times and all the time had the same worst experience w.r. T service. We ordered for normal meals and the wait time was almost one hour.there were not many people as it was eid and also due to covid protocols the crowd was very lass. The serving lady was tooooo arrogant to even reply or serve! The food was atrocious.and the fried fish was definitely a stale one! Since they serve alcohol there, many do not actually get the true taste of the food served here and so they get away with bad quality termed as good! WILL NEVER GO BACK.and DEFINETLY NOT A TRY!

The naalukett in grant hotel has lost all its quality.

It was a mistake going there. We were served with spoiled food. Smelly onion in the curry. Was changed only after we complained.

I have been frequent visitor to UAE for the last 15years and to the Nalukettu outlet since 2011. Ambience was excellent as ever before but food was marginally below the expected standards (Esp: Sea food)

Any time of the year, for past 10 years, I have been visiting this restaurant and always surprises me with the quality of food and consistency in taste, especially Kerala cuisine. Never disappointed us even on busy nights other than occasional delay in order delivery.

Recommend to go on week days. Weekend the restaurant is crowded. A treat of keralite delicacies. People with low spice tolerance. Take antacids with you

Staff coordination or service is below average and it is costly with no real discount or deals. Food was good. Head chef Santosh did a good job. I am giving 2/5 only because Service is below average and they are very business minded and do not go one step above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I think for any business, happiness of customer is priority. I had arranged a party and requested their coordination. They declined it stating "we are busy". They were not willing to coordinate a bit. Manager was giving lame reasons when we asked to parcel the left over food. Overall the service is not suited for a restaurant in star hotel.
If I would ever go to Nalukettu it would be only for the food prepared by the headchef but it's a pity that the staff is not able to complement that.

Dosa sambhar tasted bad.even aapam had not tasted good. I think people go there only for buffet otherwise for a la carte this place isn't good mainly for vegetarians

One of the few places that has maintained its quality over the years. They have few chicken and beef dishes in their belt that wins them repeat customer. It's one the places that you can take your visiting guests and be sure that you won't have to listen them complain.

Nalukettu is traditional kerala style restaurant inside Dubai Grand hotel qusais. They serve fresh Kerala style food on weekdays as per order. You can have nice appam with veg kuruma or beef piralan, which is normally great. Even though it's family restaurant, they serve liquor too. Prices are moderate and parking behind building is always available.

It is very expensive. The tax together cost DHS. 30 where I haven't seen in any other restaurants.

Food was not of great quality as people say. Me and my wife had buffet dinner on thursday evening and invited a friend with his family. All 4 of us suffered from severe diarrhoea. Never again!

Nalukettu is one of the authentic South Indian restaurants and bar is located inside Dubai Grand Hotel. Very Good for family and friends get together and parties. Weekends are pretty much crowded but still you can easily find seating because they have huge seating capacity. Weekend buffet available.

A good place to be with your family for having food. Wonderful ambience and a good variety of Kerala delicacies.
