I have ordered veg meals through smiles. And it was takeaway, once I got smiles notification to collect to order from restaurant I went the restaurant and wait for 45 minutes they are saying like not ready and they told me to deliver the food in my home and I got food after 2 hours. And I called many times.

Arrogant staff, treats customers like enemies if a feedback is given. Impolite during phone calls.doesn't even take phone calls if customer call and give order after feedback. What use is it if customer relation is below standards

Updating my review as visited after a gap of 2 years although we order from here often. Now they started a grill restaurant also. This time we ordered fried rice, parotta, chicken munchurian and chicken seeekh kebab. Parotta was classic as it was fluffy and layered and tasty. Chicken fried rice and curry was also delicious. But chicken seeekh kebab was a total disappointment. It was hard and felt like half cooked and no where near to the taste and aroma of seeekh kebab. Need to improve on this. -old review below-
Nila restaurant is nearby safeer mall in sharjah al nahda and in the entrance side of industrial area. We usually order food delivery or takeaways from here although a few times I have dined in. I particularly like their pothichor and also evening time nadan chaya. Last time we ordered dum porotta, which is a three layered porotta which has chicken in one layer beef in one layer and some boiled eggs and fried chicken on the top. This was good, although I would say it was not upto my expectations. It was good enough for two people and came wrapped in vazhayila and chatti.if u plan to dine in there are only limited parking in the front but there are many open area parkings nearby as it's an industrial area behind.

Recently visited Nila restaurant for a takeaway. We ordered Porotta, Arirotti, with Mutton Nadan curry and Chicken Shappile curry with mint lime juice and Grape Juice. The food was not upto our expectation and also it was not hot enough as well as the juices were not cold. We placed orders for spicy curries after talking to them but the curries were blunt. The Customer Service was good.

Tasty food and nice ambience. They have separate section for grills and other food. We tried lunch (pothichoru), charcol, mandi rice, egg roast, and chattychor. Everything was yummy and tasty.

Onam Sadya was delicious and having good quality. Sadya Payasam was horrific. Boli and payasam disappointed. Payasam is like some kind of Maida glue. Please don’t make such payasam. Lost money on that. But Onam sadya was one of the top in town. Enjoyed.

Awesome and tasty food. Worth it. Tummy filling and good service.

Good affordable food with a satisfactory taste. Good variety of food and the staff is really patient and helpful.

Below average food with High price than high class restaurant in Dubai. First and last try. Only positive is free parking nothing worth.

FOOD LOVERS, PLEASE DON'T PLACE SPECIAL FOOD ON FESTIVAL SEASON! May be daily serves better or you may be pioneer in the industry, none of my business. When I/we place order, they failure to deliver special occasions food like "vishu sadhya" (Indian, keralite food) This Vishu SPOILT our good times. If They can't deliver at time. Then why did they receive order? Still at 2PM they didn't deliver. Disgusting

Due respect ur business & dignity, on time of placing order, we strictly enquired them that when will be delivered. Ask your colleagues who managed orders. They spoke with us, delivery that assured by 12PM. Then pls advise me how it spoilt our SPECIAL DAY? Or not. Were we followed up him each 30 minutes (some calls they ignored), final answers at after 2"O" clock, "we can arrange you sir "- this means you are not willing to deliver at the moment when after 2PM also. LOL.seems ridiculous.
And about rights, customer have right to review your quality of food, time delivery, manners of serves, politeness of management. In the same way of rating when good happens as well as bad things. Hope you understood. Have a good days.

Good choice of South Indian dishes for breakfast. Taste was good and the prices were reasonable. Nice place for a quick bite.

Very worst service.and worst food.iftar time not give extra 1small water.today I take 2 iftar parcel not like each parcel 15 dhs wasted money.no taste food. I return parcel.but we are paid 30dhs. Realay we are upset.waiter also not give respect also.

Average resturant. We had pothi beef biriyani and fish biriyani.both were just ok.beef was very hard

Food here is so tasty. There pothichur is so amazing. Mango pickle is best in it. Tried thr chicken fried rice too n it was really yummy.

We had a wonderful experience at Nila restaurant. We chose Nila for our post-wedding function. It was amazingly well organized. Everything from food, set-up, serving, was fantastic. The guests were very appreciative about the food and the hosting experience. The owner Anuj was very humble and warm. Thank you once again!

Ordered fish fry meals. Ayal fry is very normal one and too dry. Meal is okay. 10 dhs for the fry.

I often visit here for Friday chatti choru and sadhya. Fish curry meals is really a good option. Mostly prawns curry. I wouldn’t recommend Biriyani, has given feedback. Yet to try their new chef made Biriyani.

Onam Sadya is NOT delicious AT ALL. Even the rate was very high where ever in UAE (Charged 35/-DHS per pax)

Very Bad experience for me. They are charging different amount for same food.i have order one item (puttu rate 3.5 dhrm and egg roast rate 4 dirhm) they charge 7.50 dhrm.next day i order same item and they charge 10dhrm (packing same quantity same). I have compliant to them over the phone but they are not bothered about it.they tell if choose as combo they charge 10 for puttu and egg roast and 8.50 for puttu and kadala curry.like that showing in their billing system.actual price is 3.50dhrm for puttu and 4dhrm for egg if buy as seperate bill.i dont know about this fraud calculation.why need to pay more if their system showing more price if buy as combo.anybody have doubt in this just check by order like i said above.

Usually i am not a big fan of kerala foods.

But its a great place for south Indian food.

Ordered chicken biriyani around 13: 50 and got my order delivered after 15: 00. The delivery guy was very sweet and apologised a lot for the delay saying they had lots of orders.

And about the biriyani, not the usual Malabar style biriyani and i didn't like it even a bit. Quantity is average. The Pradaman served along with the biriyani was very good.

Tried their breakfast. Was a limited menu but all was good. The lunch seems more interesting and will surely try and update the review. Tried lunch as well. Fantastic.

Nice restaurant, not so crowded, delicious food cooperative staff, nice management. Ambiance is also nice. Neat and Clean.

Please don't order Kappa Biriyani and Beef Fry, you'll get kappa biriyani without beef and beef fry with hard meat and the gravy with beef fry is disgusting. Other than that Porotta and appam are very nice. Hygienic environment and good behaviour from the staffs, I'll change the review after I get beef from kappa biriyani and smoothy beef fry.

I ordered the food before two hours and still they say food is on the way.nobody should order from this restaurant.it’s the worst restaurant I have ever seen.please don’t order food from this restaurant.

Ordered beef koorka and porota beef kizhi. 1st place in dubai with authentic beef taste, almost the same taste as Kerala beef meat. The quality of meat and taste is amazing! I would give a complete 5 star.
Place is recommended for take away, the dine in ambience is not cozy, rather average.

Very very bad service. I ordered seven onam meals one day before Onam. They promised me to deliver before 12: 30 PM and I waited till 2: 00 PM and nobody pick my call on that day.

The restaurant is just behind Safeer mall. Very little parking spot in front of restaurant. The waiter suggested to have pothichor.which is 15 AED and it comes with small fish fry and chicken fry. I liked the meals better (had eaten before from their Qusais Branch) then Pothichor because it was cold when they served me. I think they make and keep it during Lunch rush hour. Just another South Indian Restaurant. My friend said the Kingfish curry was great when he ordered last time he visited Nila.

We are usually a fan of your food taste. And hence had decided to order the Onam parcel from you. I am sure it would have been great, but sadly never got to taste it as it never made it home. At least if the calls were picked up to let us know that it was not coming, it would have saved us a lot of time and the last min run.

It was good experience indeed with spacious seating arrangements, excellent behaviour from the customer service team. Food is also good. Can be improved.

Had dinner with family and friends. Good variety of fish and chicken. Fish mango chattikkari was too good!

Quality is very bad now, behavior of staff not satisfied and cards not accepting now and overall performance is very bad

Such a ridiculous service by the staff. The min avg delivery time they would take is around 1hr eventhough the location is very close to them. Today I called them up 4 times just to follow up my order, even then neither I got a proper reply nor they made an appology for the delay, they were just trying to make the customer a fool by giving a vogue reply, that too even on a very bossy and arrogant tone, which a customer doesn't want to experience as we are giving a chance to serve us by making orders and not the other way around. The person's name I have spoke to is Mr. Sidharth.pls give him some tips on how to talk to a customer. Really irritated by your service. They were asking me to call their manager for this issue, infact why would the customer call? Instead they have to call us and had to justify themselves, unfortunately it didn't happen. Will not recommend any one to your service. Very very bad and pathetic service.

Another kerala style cuisine restaurant, we ordered the nadan chai along with beef dry and porotta.

Food quality and price very much reasonable. Most of the staffs are friendly but not all of them. One day took my middle aged friend with me he was wearing his old clothes. They treated him in lower level. Not like when i was there day before. Most of shops have this attitude. This restaurant was in top lists after this i stopped going thère. Other than that food quality and other things are very good.

Feel like a value restaurant, dishes are a bit oily but not soo bad, customer service is okay, above average taste, fair pricing and not so crowded.

Its a friday.i understand its busy but still i ordered at 11am and waited till 2pm for my order and then when i called n asked they said its on the way just 5 more minutes and this was repeated several times. Then i called again n asked where is the order he said on the way and out of frustration i said cancel my order, the guy on the phone simply just said YES and hang the call.this was really frustrating.worst services ever.i gave many bulk orders to them from our company.today was my last call to them and will never recommend.

Very bad dine-in experience.ordered appam, mutton curry (recommended by waiter) and fish mango curry. Fish tasted n smelt bad. Appam & mutton curry were served COLD.asked them to reheat the curry.they just put some curry leaves on top and served the same COLD curry.meanwhile we ordered puttu. After waiting for 10 minutes they informed that puttu will take another 15-20 minutes. They should have informed us when we placed the order in the first place. Tea was also not hot.
Either their oven isn't working or they simply don't take the customers seriously.
If you expect a minimum quality for the money you pay, don't even think about stepping into Nila Restaurant, Dubai branch.

The traditional kerala Fish curry Meals served on banana leaf is one of the best in the locality.

A place to go for if you are into kaerala food, they are bit pricier than the malabar resturant and the cheaper restrant in qusais square but cheaper then the nellara resturants.fo rme it was a perferct fit price wise.you get good quality food from kerala.all the standard fares of sadhya.also you get podichoru here.bt plz be wary that on week ends if you order for home delivery be ready to wait as they are typically inddated with orders during friday lundy and saturday lunch time.else if y want good kerala food at resonable price, then it is teh place to go
