Never travel by bus from Dubai to Oman using this service. Although it is quite cheap (50 AED one leg), the travel time is more than 7 hours which is total waste of time. Further Hatta Border on both sides will waste even more of time. It's better to hire a car to travel.
The office is closed now there is a new location u can get the bus from abu hail metro station dxb terminal 2 arrival side and rashidiya station old office is closed now
I had used ONTC to travel from Dubai to Oman. They give the best and secure service. If you need to book with them you need to go and visit their office at the given location and they give you the tickets towards OMAN. They usually don’t answer the calls on the landline. Better visit them direct and purchase the tickets. The drivers are good and friendly. This is the cheapest way to travel from dubai to Oman for just AED. 55/-
My wife and I (both from south africa) took the bus to Dubai on 23/12/2018 at 1 am from al Suwaq. They stop specially in Suwaq to pick us up after we phone them And gave them ouer location. The bus driver made jokes and help a lot at the border. It was a safe, clean, funny trip.

Best service for inter country. I liked the bus. It was good. Note: it's not a sleeper bus. Only sitting, that's bit challenging. But in 55 bucks you can't expect better service then this. Overall I enjoyed the trip. They will wait for all to get the Visa and take all to Oman! Do give try if you want to visit Oman from Dubai! Wifi is available but works very slow. Driver is supportive. Note you'll have to be ready to get down when your location arrives. If you don't know the location ask Driver to inform you when your destination arrives and still you have to be active.
Horrible trip! I’ve never ever tried anything like that, took us 10 HOURS from muscat! Everything went smooth in the start, and when we arrived the boarders, and everyone got their things done, we came to Dubai. While people where fixing their visa things, some of us finished and got back to the bus. And then the driver started driving, BACK to Oman boarders because someone had issues there. So we went back to Oman, to give a luggage to one of the passengers who didn’t go with us to Dubai. So we drove all the way back, he left half of the passengers at UAE boarders without telling them anything. And then we drove back to UAE, and still no one gave us any information. We came back to UAE and the security was long. Finally we arrived Dubai at 12.30! First time I go with the bus and definitely the LAST time I’ll do it. They said it took 6 hours to get there but we almost made it the double. Otherwise the bus was clean and comfortable but that is the only positive thing I can say about it.
An experience I'll never want to go through again. They wouldn't issue me a bus ticket just because I am African. Omg.so discriminatory and unfair. Getting a visa to go to Oman as an Africa is like the most difficult thing ever.
Took the 7.30am to muscat today and the journey was perfect arrived in 6.30hrs.the morning bus is the best as you miss the traffic.i recommend that you go to the office the day before and book a seat as it can get full especially over the weekends.the bus was super new, seats were very comfortable and the driver spoke perfect english.aircon is on super cold the whole trip so make sure you take a sweater.also make sure you keep 40 dirhams for the border exit.
2 STAR FOR THE IRRESPONSIBLE GUY AT THEIR DUBAI OFFICE WHO WILL NEVER PICK YOUR PHONE CALL Review update 30-07-18 The officer at ONTC dubai doesn't know english. That is why he is not attending phone calls. But he is a nice person. Your travel experience will depend on driver. Some driver will stop bus for refreshing and some will be annoying. Dubai to muscat travel time is nearly 7hours and muscat to dubai will take around 9 hours because there are so many stops after departing muscat bus station
Price for service is good, but no need to advertise internet on the bus if there is non. The staff on the other hand is very kind and are always trying to help.
