Spending 12 hours to move an apartment, losing item and breaking another, was for me worst experience ever, while i appreciate hard work of the team but the management didnt take enough actions to change the unpleasant situation, for for sure i will never risk using them again and i will make sure no one around me will do as well

I had an excellent experience with the On The Move team! They were very professional, arrived on time and with everything they needed to get the job done. I had 5/6 of them in our two bedroom apartment and it took them just a couple of hours to pack everything up with the utmost care and respect - everything individually wrapped and folded etc. When we arrived at my new place, there was a delay and they waited patiently until we could get in, then worked harder and faster to ensure they could still finish everything on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving within Dubai and I will definitely use them when the time comes for us to relocate back to England.

Excellent work. Nothing broken or lost, professional and quick removals agents, clean packing and unpacking with no hand prints on the walls! Friendly staff who speak good English. Despite initially believing this was a professional and decent company, we eventually had quite the opposite experience with On The Move. When our shipment was eventually delivered, some of our items were missing and we were instead delivered items belonging to someone else. On The Move arranged to come and collect the items that weren't ours, but then admitted they had no idea what had happened to our missing goods (including a number of valuable and sentimental items which are irreplaceable) - all they could do was repeatedly tell us that their 'paperwork' showed everything had been done correctly.

It become increasingly difficult to get them to respond to us once it was obvious to them we weren't happy and they wouldn't be getting any further business from us. They told us to claim on the insurance: however, the insurance company are so far refusing to pay the stated/paid for value of the lost items as On The Move didn't list individual items by box (even though we provided a detailed item by item list for insurance purposes). On The Move don't seem to have any interest in helping or being involved any more: they're very good at communicating and responding before you pay them, or when all is going well. Once there's a problem after this, however, they simply shift the blame on to someone else - in our case, first the delivery company the other end, then the insurance company.

In short: totally unprofessional and poor quality service. Good at PR and marketing, at hiding behind other parties, and at parroting phrases like 'this is not the kind of experience we want our customers to have', especially on public forums, but don't genuinely seem to care when it's clear they aren't going to make any more money from you. We still, after months of waiting, have hundreds of pounds worth of items which have gone missing. On The Move simply have no idea where they are (they 'aren't in their warehouse' and 'didn't arrive our end' but 'all their paperwork is correct' so it's not their fault) and so far, despite high insurance premiums, we have no prospect of being recompensed for their stated and paid-for value. Avoid like the plague.

Really happy about the whole experience. Freddie and the team are very quick and efficient, and help rearrange our storage space.

The team arrived on time as agreed and worked quickly and professionally to get the moved completed successfully. We were able to get the move completed into our new apartment before several other movers arrived, thus being able to miss a busy period for elevators. Would not hesitate to use them again

We have had the smoothest move ever with On The Move. The team was limited to 5 Filipino movers but very efficient, avoiding us to have too many people running all around the house. All other quotations were proposing 8 to 10 movers. They were very quick at packing and unpacking a 5 BR house. They planned 2 days but completed it in 1.5 days. No damages to walls (we had new paint). Limited dirt and stains on walls. Liam the manager was following up closely before and during the move over the phone and whatsapp. No complaint. Cherry on the cake, On the Move quotation was the most competitive competitive. Only point was that they don't work on Friday and we had to modify our schedule but that was not a major problem for us.

Third move with them, nice works as usual. A little bit more expensive, but is ok. Just sit and watch your stuff going from one place to the other. Team arrived in time (most appreciated), careful with the stuff. A little bit of maihem in the kitchen cupboards, but expected due to differences in arrangement.

Another great move from OnTheMove!

This is the fourth time now that I have used OnTheMove and again the service was great from start to finish, even when it had to be rescheduled at the last minute due to Eid. Easy to sort out, team arrived promptly and packed everything so well so nothing got damaged in the move and they came back a few days later to collect the empty boxes and packing paper.

The first time I availed of On The Move's services was back in 2013, when I moved from Tecom to Dubai Marina. I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism, punctuality and efficiency. They came at 9AM and by 6PM I was all setup in my new pad, furniture reassembled, boxes unpacked and all.

Fast forward 8 years later, and when it was time to escape Marina to the much more serene neighborhood of Science Park, you guessed it - OTM answered the call once again. Given that almost a decade had passed, I was curious to see if their standards had dipped as is the tendency with most companies here. Not so. Pleasant deja vu once again! In fact, they one-upped their previous performance, and while the starting time of 9AM was the same, they had me settled in my new crib at 3PM.

Moving is always a mentally and physically strenuous experience, but when you have a crew that knows what they are doing - including careful handling of pricey/priceless items and disassembling/reassembling IKEA furniture faster than IKEA's own team - much of that stress is assuaged!

Thank you to Laura for her impeccable assistance throughout the entire process, including providing boxes and packing materials in advance so that I could pack some personal items on my own. Don't hesitate or try to save a few bucks by hiring those dodgy roadside trucks. You get what you pay for, and OTM is worth every penny. That said, their charges represented incredible value considering the quality of service you receive!

The best part of this experience was the people. On The Move have a great team in the back office who are very responsive and well-informed of needs you may not even be aware of when moving homes. The team they sent for the in-country move were positive, professional, quick, and pleasant to deal with as well. They helped make an otherwise stressful experience easier and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company in the UAE.

I used "On the Move" services 2 times, the first time it was amazing, however the second time, it was at all not professional.

The packing person in the kitchen was wetting his fingers with Saliva to get the wrapping paper to pack the glasses, even though the company share a long email about the COVID-19 measures but their team was far from respecting any hygiene measures even without COVID what they do was not acceptable.for sure I tried to tell to the person that he has to wash his hands and stop doing that, but I was not successful.

I then tried to call the moving consultant that never picked my phone calls.
I managed to reach the company manager, who promised to send a cleaner the next day for couple of hours to wash the glasses as I don t have a way to sanitize.

After the move, I discovered that part of my kitchen glasses are not there.
So again I tried to call the moving consultant who again did not pick the calls for couple of days or reply to the WhatsApp messages till I sent her a message saying that u may try to answer me by message as a kind of change.when she replied to my message and I explained the problem, she promised to check and revert and she checked and confirmed that they did not leave any box behind them or in the truck and asked me if I am sure and what is the count of the glasses and the items.

To be very honest, I felt accused rather than a person with problem, so after days of discussion, I decided to go to the old building and to ask myself and I checked the old apartment after getting back the keys from the owner and to my surprise i discovered that they forgot the content of a complete cabinet.

The moving consultant said that they are " Sorry" and send the next day the team to get the missing items.

Conclusion, even though the service was a complete mess, and I was obliged to find the missing items myself all what you get is "Sorry".

Honestly, I believe that they are not the professional company they were couple of years ago but they still charge the fees as if they are.

Hired them for an overseas move from Dubai to Ireland. They gave me a delivery date of December 26th. It is now January 12th and I don't even have an ETA anymore.

My container sat in a port in India for 11 days with no explanation. It is currently scheduled to sit in Antwerp for another 7 days with no explanation.

Every time I contact them I am told - it is out of our control and in the hands of the shipping company. I asked her to get pro-active with them while the container has been bouncing around Europe since December 28th but keep getting the same useless response. She even had the nerve to blame Covid, Brexit and The Holidays - like these were surprise obstacles that suddenly occurred.

As far as I can see once they have your money - they don't care anymore. Avoid at all costs - save yourself the money and go with the cheaper options - you will get the same (or maybe better) service.

We are literally going to be sleeping in an empty house with an 8 month old and 8 year old child smack in the middle of winter because of this company. Our move to Ireland has not arrived since it was packed on 15th November. Please spare yourselves because you will regret out of country removals with this company.

If you are looking for the WORST moving company in Dubai then this is the one to choose. They take the money in advance, pack the boxes, disappear for several hours and then drop the boxes all in one room in the new house.

If you pay for VIP packing and unpacking service, you might as well burn your money. They do not finish on time, take long breaks and do NOT unpack your items.

It is my 1st time to get On The Move and I am extremely happy with their service and professionalism. On the day of our shifting, the rain was unusually heavy and it's understandable that the Dubai Roads will be a chaos. Their team (headed by Rosby) contacted me ahead that they will be late due to these bad weather conditions - which I appreciate so I can manage and maximize my time. When they arrived, my stuff were neatly and properly wrapped/boxed, plus they are very careful moving things around. After everything were in place, they even asked me if all of the items were kept in normal state or if anything were damaged (nothing were). The staff were very polite, great with communication and remarkably quick. Would definitely get On the Move as I would recommend them to my friends. They get the job done and they do it right!

Jo was pleasant to deal with, and the guys on the day were friendly, but if they break or damage anything during your move (which they did due to not wrapping it correctly), then you don’t hear from them again.

Right through from our initial enquiry through to completion which included packing/unpacking and fitting our white goods, they made the whole moving process easy and relatively stress free. The team who came to do the move arrived on-time and were very professional in both manner and how they took care of our goods. I would highly recommend this company.

We moved this summer, from Dubai back to UK with "on the move". We have been working abroad over 14 years. We always travel with all our furniture- which include huge solid oak bookcase, many paintings and a very expensive and fragile marble dining table. Plus all the rest of our loved belongings and fond memories. In short we do not travel light (40 Ft containers) and we are not a "simple" and straight one. Because we ve been moving recently every couple of years, we came to know better what we wanted and the best way for us to achieve it. Let's not deny we are quite hands on. So when quoting moving companie, the most important for us is not big names or glossy brochure but smaller team and the ability to listen and to provide a tailored made solution. And it is exactly what we got. From day one with Jo, we have been able to control the full process and ask for specific requirements. Everything went smooth, as planned and with very straight and good communication. Their partner here in UK are as professional as they are. Nothing has been lost - and we had over 350 boxes, nothing was damaged and it is where I have to give huge credit to the packing team in Dubai. As I said earlier, we were really hands on. But they were very gracious, very understanding and worked with us every steps of the way for the packing of certain items. Opening everything here in UK just confirmed how professional and careful they were too in packing the rest. So thumbs up to them and to On the move overall.

Jo's team were more than brilliant. It is a big upheaval moving countries and an enormous one for pets. Kenny was collected from our home and a couple of days later appeared in our UK house without concern. I think I had more worry about him than he did. I will use this service again and more than happily recommend to everyone. Absolutely brilliant - five star.

Some staff were not professional. They came without cooler for fridge item, put them in the paper box
and left it outside in the truck while the temp was 37 degrees. One of the staff kept playing with my husband's personal stuff like skateboard, toy gun and he even rode the electric scooter without asking. I still cant find my clock hung in the kitchen before, fridge items were found in the freezer, books were all upside down, living room items were found in the kitchen.it was my first time with On The Move and wasn't a pleasant experience.

Dealing with Jo was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish she helped us move our things from Dubai to the UK. A great company to use if you want to move countries.
