Candle Making -

The team were very good, and extremely accommodating especially as we missed our time slot due to getting muddled with time zone differences.

The candle making experience was enjoyable and something different to do, playing with the different scents, identifying different samples that could work, then putting your creation together.

The team is also clearly very knowledgable and passionate about what they did which positively benefited our experience.

I would say for 400aed it is a pricey couple of hours but something I would certainly do again.

We had a lovely experience at Oo La Lab. Creating our perfume scents from scratch was extremely insightful and fascinating, thanks to the expertise of Myrlie and Khouloud.

Myrlie was there to support me throughout and was really helpful officially can say oo la lab is amazing

Amazing place where you can made your own candle with a smell you like. Irene was so sweet to help me to create one! Highly recommended for visiting. Also they have perfumes and candles for sale.

Farrah is an amazing teacher, she’s very patient in teaching me how to make the perfume I wanted. This is my second visit where I’m making my own candles. Her input is very helpful and valuable in addition to her having an amazing personality. She’s a total sweetheart?

I had a Perfume and a Candle Workshop. Irene was my instructor in both classes I took on different days. Her ability to share her knowledge and lead my class was impressive. More so she was so very patient, kind and friendly. I absolutely enjoyed my classes and more so leaving with a finished product from both workshops. I recommend you to taking these classes. The entire atmosphere and process is beautiful.

I rate with one strar because my friend told me about Oo la lab and the great experience he had there. I like perfumes so I went there with my girlfriend, the salesman barely speaks english he did not understand us or what we were looking for.he has no knowledge about the products he's selling and also he tried to fool us with wrong information, what drove me crazy was the way he was looking and talking to my girlfriend that was certainly unprofessional and disrespectful.
We had by far an awful experience and wasting of time visiting this place. I do not recommand anyone to go there.

I had flown in especially for this as I wanted to gift my bridesmaids custom bottles, so I was super excited but the experience wasn't as expected. My review of the scents- I would suggest that if you haven't used their fragrances before, go and familiarize yourself with their style, they were not quite my taste which would lean toward fragrances like Guerlain. My review of the actual experience- It started great but as I mentioned the scents were really new to me and the proportion of the mixes was not quite working for me, so I was taking a bit longer. The instructor became impatient and short and from there the experience became uncomfortable for me, and I ended up just accepting a blend so the session could end. I gave away the bottle to a staff member from my hotel and she loved it so I am not saying it smelt bad- It just really isn't for everyone, and the experience maybe is tailored to people who may be more familiar with the brand. My advice for a better experience is try before you buy.

It was a great experience to make your own perfume. However, i booked for private session and my expectation was to be seated somewhere private not in the open area for privacy unfortunately the session took place outside in-front of everyone coming to shop. Also, it would be better to have more comfortable chairs as we spent 2 hours and the high bar chairs weren’t making it enjoyable as it wasn’t comfortable. Last but not least Taha was amazing he made the whole experience special special thanks to him.

Experience was very disappointing! They don't teach you anything about perfumery, which is what they should have. They just ask you to choose the scents to make your perfume. Not worth it AT ALL!

If you are perfume lover this will not satisfy you
Few note and they are mostly facets that you mix
Oriental, green, chypre.etc
There where more interesting notes on the tables but not for our use
So if you want something more in depth like single aroma chemicals or naturals and high variations
This is not the place
The staff is friendly but unkowlageble about perfumery
When I came I expected a lesson
I ended up playing with the facets and some notes on my own while they feel bored about me taking to long time smelling
The bottle spray and compress is bad quality
Before I lift some costumer came complaining about the bottle leaking and I thought stuff like that happens but my bottle did that too and this is makes me thing it is an issue
The perfume leaks out and the cap dose not close in tight even the label got effected and the cap too
So I would give it 2.5 stars
Removed one for the poor knowladge of the staff and the experience over all
The second for the bad bottles
The half because I saw note on the tables not for our use that had interesting notes like tobacco and tonka

If you going to take it take the group session and don't expect that you will get a session

Do not recommend! Very disappointed with the overall experience, it was delayed 30mins I got the impression that the lady doing the work shop didn’t want to be there she seemed bored and unhelpful.
The label machine didn’t work so we couldn’t take our perfume home with us on the day.
I messaged the team privately and they were very apologetic so asked me to come and pick up a hamper to make up for everything. When I went back in to pick up the perfumes with the label on them there was no hamper (awkward). I also messaged the team privately about this and got no reply.

A fantastic immersive and intimate experience where you are taken on a journey where your senses are awakened. During this 90min workshop you are carefully guided on crafting your very own, custom fragrance where you choose which scents to put together and the quantity to achieve your desired scent!
I highly recommend this wonderful experience, it’s so novel, beautifully done, and you take away something you have made, unique to you. I love my fragrance and I’m so grateful for this journey!

Really impressed with the ordinary looking.amazingly sensationalistic (perfumery) long lasting fragrances available @the Oo La Lab.the mixology is so interesting and the results are very potent of personally constructing a fragrance of your choice.strongly recommend all the fragrance lovers to try it out.

Definitely love the packaging of the perfume kits. Along with its aesthetic looks, it’s rich ingredients give out such authentic scents and my personal favorite being White Flower! Hope to definitely see more from them!

Really cool space with an interesting take on fragrances - have tried some of their perfumes and love the aroma they emit. The staff is pretty helpful too - definitely recommended.

It is a fun filled hands on experience where you practically get to handcraft your own perfume and to have a personalised touch of naming it after yourself really helps mark the experience.

OoLab is one of the hidden gems at Al serkal Avenue in Dubai. The staff is very friendly and the idea of creating your own blend of perfume is an innovative one.:)
