Declining Quality of Egg Roast at Panoor Restaurant Qusais

My family and I have been regular patrons at Panoor Restaurant Qusais for breakfast over the last few months. However, during our recent visit, we were quite disappointed with the egg roast masala we ordered.

In the past, we have always enjoyed the flavorful and well-prepared dishes at Panoor Restaurant. Unfortunately, this time, the egg roast masala seemed old food. The taste was noticeably off, and the texture of the dish was less than satisfactory.we can smell the bad quality.

As loyal customers, we expected a consistent dining experience, but this visit left us questioning the restaurant's commitment to maintaining their food's quality. Moreover, the lack of freshness in the dish was quite concerning, considering we have had pleasant experiences here before.

On a positive note, the cherupayar curry we ordered was still enjoyable and flavorful, but it was overshadowed by the disappointing egg roast masala.

We hope that Panoor Restaurant takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly. As long-time customers, we would like to see them regain the standard of excellence they once upheld.

While we have had positive experiences in the past, this recent decline in food quality has left us hesitant about returning for breakfast in the future. We sincerely hope that the management takes corrective measures to ensure a better dining experience for all customers.

Location: convenient for travellers opting public transport. Just near Dubai Airport Freezone metro station.
Ambience: Dine in looks crowded.but has enough space to accommodate 30 to 35 people. Glass separation is made to follow Muncipality guidelines of covid. Toilets are clean.
Taste and quality: variety of option in menu. Presentation of the food is good. But taste and quality could be better. Expected taste is not met.

Really bad food. This is the second time after ages we tried and was even worse. Never going back

Service and waiters are very good. They are very helpful in selecting menu items. The food is also good and worth the price.

Onam Sadhya @3pm. Without Sambar, without pulisheri, without mooru. But sides was there and got a ozhichu curry named oolan or kaalan. But i very well know it was not that but they served it saying its. I just accepted it

Both mutton and chicken biriyani purchased on 24th June 2021 was not having any tasty. It was below standard. Me any my family didn't like it.

Panoor is best in the taste and quality in this area. They will take time to serve but you will receive the best tasty food. My overall experience to this restaurant is good but not the best.

This is the first time we tried this restaurant, to be very true food was not upto the mark, we ordered chicken biryani and its taste was very flat, no flavor of spices, chicken curry was also yellowish in color with no red chilly atall. One thing that's very good was Tea.

The restaurant delivery system is very bad, i ordered food 1.5 hours back. The restaurant is 10 kms/15 mins away from my house. Horrible experience. Restaurant owner please pay attention. Thanks.
Update: it has been 2 hours still no food yet. Restaurant is not receiving my calls now. I have a diabetic mother who is hungry from two hours. Request people to avoid this irresponsible restaurant. Panoor you are a failure.

Have tried couple of items.gr8 taste. Great price.must try! When you walk in, it gives you a below average restaurant feel. But the food it and service is gr8.must try chefs special items for the day.

Such an unprofessional way in handling customers.
I order a food item, it got more than an hour, so at least have a responsibility to call the customer and apologize.
When I called to know why the order gets delayed, I waited on line for 5 minutes as they were not talking to me rather talking to someone else, NOT RECOMMENDING AT ALL.

Very Good restaurant for south Indian cuisine, moderate charges, good ambiance, good staff. I dont know there is any dedicated customer parking. Normally I am parking RTA parking.

Only Restaurent in Dubai who is using smashed ginger in ginger fresh milk tea.
Chicken fried rice 15 AED
Chicken Lolypop 18 AED size is small but soft and delicious.
Chicken Bamboo Biryani 20 AED

Breakfast item idli, vada, Keema, egg roast, dosa, black Chana, Chana masala etc available.

Staff and Service is very slow (service need to be fast)

Neat and cleanliness

chicken dishes are best but fish dishes are not good (fish menue need to be improve)

Seperate Family area available at first floor.
Washroom and toilet available.
RTA Parking available.

Biriyani is good, but the people sitting in the cash counter are lacking basic customer service skills, very aggressive behaviour not recommended at all for service.

Good restaurant and good food. I really enjoyed chicken chatty curry and don't forget to taste the Bamboo Briyaani. All are very tasty at affordable Price.

Nice Food. Seperate Family space upstairs. Lot of parking in front available (paid but still better).

On a regular day I would order chicken biryani which I don’t deny which is really good. However I craved for more tonight and ordered fish fry, butter chicken and poratta. The fish fry was horrendously spicy and tasteless! Butter chicken was bland and not what I excepted.
Very very sad and distasteful for a restaurant of these many years.

Today it was waste of time and waste of money. We came all the way from ajman for bamboo biryani. But there was no biryani and the food was very bad no taste and not cooked properly. They didnt even serve properly, I had to ask for each and everything.even tissue water or any other basics things were not kept.
Mutton karhai was full of fat on it and not cooked well.

We placed an order through zomato to panoor restaurant in quasis, we believe in trying out different restaurants and different cuisines and give them a reviews, we had placed an order for grilled chicken and malai chicken tikka worth of 40.25 AED precisely, and order got accepted successfully but after sometime the restaurant guy calls up saying they don’t have both the dishes! So first thing if you don’t have both dishes like other dishes, you should be making it as out of stock which didn’t happen, instead through call you confirmed so, later when asked what other starters do they have they mentioned
They mentioned quiet a few in which I orderd again over the phone chicken biryani and chicken tikka and chicken lollipops to sum it to 40 dhrms still the bill was 36 dhrms where in he mentioned he would do something to compensate on the bill, and finally the order was placed, at 9: 20 pm this went on frm 9 to 9: 20 pm, after that was the waiting time for the food we were expecting as per their timings which is 45 mins, we waited patiently no call nthn heard yet frm delivery boy or anyone, again called to check upon and they don’t know what was the orderd place, lack of communication or team handling diffrnt things at same times not feeding in right information on their system finally one man got to know our order n he said delivery boy has alrdy left and this was at 10: 05
And hardly my apartment is 5-6minutes if by two wheeler, 12-15 minutes by walk

And nobody came yet we again waited for another 30 minutes and called to check again, n other person said we r sending it now, we missed on it we r sending it, delivery boy will be there in 5 minutes

This made us so annoying because this was the first time we ever order from this restaurant and had such a pathetic service by their staffs

Again waited for another 20 minutes finally food arrived at 11: 10

And not to forget, there was no compensation nor nothing was done to correct their service instead we lost on a money through placing an order through Zomato

Never would I recommend again ever to this place

South Indian restaurant with good taste. I like their keema paratha. During Ramadan they have good snacks.

Panoor is famous for their different verities of Biriyani. I have tried Bamboo Biriyani and Pothi Biriyani. Both were nice

Bamboo Biryani @Panoor Restaurant in Qusais. Great presentation and great taste. Will definitely go again to try the other items as well. Wasn't expecting it to be this good. Pleasant surprise it was for sure.
We went there at 1: 30 pm and it was pretty busy at the time. The service was still pretty descent.

Delicious food and service. Authentic Malabar restaurant. Near to Dubai Freezone metro station, pay parking slot available in front of the restaurant. They have a verities of biriyani, thalasseri dum biriyani is awesome. Foodies will like this restaurant.

If you are looking for authentic food from Kerala then this is one the best place you can eat at.

Too busy place and service takes time. If your tummy rats are at its worst you will have to bear with the slow delivery.

This was a very good restaurant before. With great taste and good service.few years back. Now both taste and service declined. Staffs were busy chatting to themselves.making comments.i went there 2 days back for lunch.there were only a few customers. Still the staffs were just forgetting what they have to do.

Great Indian restaurant that specialises in biryani cooked in bamboo. Amazing taste, good quality, nice service, and very enjoyable.

Is a good spot for mallus just the way its any brand in UAE. Added to it has good interiors and bit of a family areas and has all kerala food served. Taste is good and price is very minimal.

We went Panoor al qusais last day.
Ambience is good, but a bit congested.
The staff dealt with us is very smart
We had chicken bamboo biriyani, porotta and roast with half a chicken (cant recollect the name). All were yum

I had mutton biryani yesterday but personally i felt that it was more on plain pulao side with very very mild flavours. Although the meat portion was very good but i didnt relish the biryani. So would consider as my first and last experience.

Dining area is spread over two levels, with ample seating space arranged. Menu is typical Kerala dishes, at reasonable price.

Waiting time is just about right, and the service is good overall.

Fish Mango Curry was good, so were the Idiyappams. Vellayappam was not to my liking.

Overall, a decent restaurant to take your family and friends to treat.
