This is a restaurant with international food, locatid on 36 floor of H Hotel, and have all dinner time live show with dancer, live singers, acrobatics moments, and verry nice armosphere. Service is hight class, and the food was delicios.

I had an amazing experience thanks to the group of friends I was with. I enjoyed it. It’s a Beautiful place, decent music and Lovely vibe. Perfect for any occasion in terms of ambience & music.

However the service is extremely slow. Our beverages were not brought to us even after reminders and reached us after the end of the meal. When I informed staff they didn’t seem to care much. The place was not even busy as we went early so don’t understand the delay. The Parmesan crisps were stale. Edamame was perfect. Main course sliders were good but the food over all had a distinct taste.

I always have a good time at Play. The show is amazing! Spacious stage, you can see the show from almost all the tables. The food is amazing, I like to start with Pitta surprise, The risotto is so delicious. The service is top.

Booking and Reservations:
Was professionally recommended and done by our Grand Hotel Concierge in less than 3 minute in such a short notice on the same night. No credit cards, No cancellation policy.

Ambience: Professional, Cozy and Friendly.

Staff: Professional, and friendly. I believe I should not be asked for tips unless it is fairly announced.

Food: Excellent variety, quantity and quality. Interesting and attractive way in serving.

Cost: $$$$ high, again customer should not be asked for tips unless it’s fairly announced for all.

Show: Good entertainment, good flow, good interaction between performers and customers. It will be more entertaining if there is a “Belly Dancer”.

Will come again: Yes

Atmosphere was amazing with the shows, service and the staff was much over little bit,
Cleanness was a bit weak staff removed the empty dishes and forgot to clean the table after you have to ask every time, prices above average but for the shows great, food taste very normal nothing special just the atmosphere.

An overall terrible place. The ambience was poor. The waiter that attended to us is a fraud. We ordered a different bottle of champagne, fraudulently brought another and imposed it on us. Waiter kept on pointing and recommending over priced things on the menu just to rob people off. This is the worst place to be in Dubai!

Food was ok/ average not wow, shows were amazing I would recommend it for a nice fun experience with your friend.

This is my first time here at the Play Lounge and it literally won't be the last time I enjoyed it so much the show and food, and what made my experience so special was the waiter RAZA he was very professional and friendly i hardly recommended?

Service at the table by our waiter was awful. I’ve lived in Dubai for 10 years, and it was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in the city. The waitstaff continued bringing the wrong dishes to the table multiple times, and then fought us by telling us we ordered such dishes. I would patiently show them and point to the menu of what we ordered and then they realized their mistakes. Once some accurate dishes came out, they had no idea who ordered them so they would place them at the wrong end of the table.

I waited one hour for a drink and the waiter brought the wrong one after that hour ‍️. At one point I was going to bar to get a cocktail because it was faster and accurate, and then I’d go back to our table.

At the end they wanted to overcharge us by close to 1,000 AED. Truly awful service. I’m putting the blame on this terrible waiter and the people in charge of training. I’m sure there are other better waitstaff at the venue.

The food was average. I wouldn’t go back for the food itself. No highlights.

The show was fun to watch and the staff had great energy around the nightclub. Some of the ladies had some really impressive dance moves, and you could tell they put their hearts into the performances. The musicians were ok.

I waited at the bar prior to joining my table because my friends were running 15 minutes late. I briefly chatted with the bartender and he made me their signature Mai Tai. It was really good and it looked beautiful. The gentleman was very proud of his craft

Tips
- Understand that it’s more of a nightclub with artists performing that serves food, not a restaurant where you can easily have a conversation due to the music level
- There is loud and super loud at the venue. Watch out for the speakers above your table, if you don’t want super loud ask them to move you elsewhere if tables are available
- They can host little areas that feel more private which is cool, so you could request those for a minimum spend
- Naturally, be aware that the dishes and drinks will be marked up in order to host the good show. Don’t be surprised about this. It makes sense

Nice decorations and beautiful show. Food taste is below standard. Some of the basic items like seabass fish not available? ! Staff are always on a rush and don’t take your order clearly and continue to argue the matter. They need to improve service to result better customer experience.

We booked a table for four. My guest arrived earlier and they refused to take her to the table! Though I called and I confirmed that we are on our way to let her set. But they refused until we arrive. That was embarrassing and inappropriate. The manager himself insisted that all four have to arrive. And the receptionist was very rude. They care about money more than the service. Other than that food was ok, show was good. But I will never invite my guest to this place again.

Worst service I have ever seen in Dubai! Dont have a drink menu with the prices. The waiter served me like he was doing me a favor. And the manager is extremely rude (when MUST BE the person who help you), definitely I dont recommend. There are other better options in Dubai with excellent service!

My husband and i attended Play for a night out in Dubai. The food was amazing, the service fantastic and the show was even better. We had so much fun I would highly recommend it to all! Absolutely loved this place and hands-down best show we went to in Dubai. Thank you for an amazing and memorable night. I would definitely return again if we come back to Dubai.

Ilove this place. The was very tasty, good service. Drinks was so amazing thanks to the Filipino bartender MAKI his really professional bartender.

We had dinner on 18 November 2021 and was one of the worst ever food experiences I've had in Dubai. We ordered the black cod main dish and what came was an extremely smelly fresh that was stinky even from a distance. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and took a small bite and that was horrible, the fish was not even properly cooked and was raw. That was when I called the waiter and reported this bad smelly dish of bad fish - the waiter took the dish back to the kitchen and asked him to cancel it and eventually we didn't order any other main dish after that fearing it would also be a bad one as well. The waiter came back and apologized and offered what was called "a complimentary desert on the house". We asked for the bill and was shocked to see they had actually charged for that black cod dish which we never had. I complained again to the waiter then he said that they kept the black cod in the receipt because they had offered the complimentary desert! The desert price was not even close to the price of the black cod main dish. Eventually the waiter came back with another version of the bill with the black cod meal removed and the desert charged! This was just shocking, rude and impolite. At that point we decided it to cut if off short and just paid and left. Writing this review was long due but I didn't really want such a bad experience to go unnoticed. Will not go there again, never!

Great place and what an amazing show. Me and my friends where invited for dinner and the food was absolutely amazing and the whole experience was outstanding.

The food was the worse all of it tasted so bad + the juice I got tasted like it was expired, the waiter I was asking him for the drinks menu for 3-4 times and he was refusing to get me the drinks menu and was trying to fours me to choose what he wanted + I booked a table from 4 days but still they give me the worst table I couldn’t see any of the show because I was facing the wall, worst service and food off all times, last time

On the top floor of the H Hotel Sh. Zayed Road. Advanced booking is advised the ambience is lovely cheerful and a true Fun kitchen, to me one of the best I have been. The staff is friendly and and the same time professional, served by Nathan and was great, sat next to the bar and the mixer Nico really knows his stuff and a joy to have. The Music and dancers were from another planet just Wow. Food is perfectly service and delightful for your taste buds. Always ask for the specials. Price is about 150 $ per person but its worth it. A must see and visit.

The place to entertain… relax and enjoy good times. Great violinist & saxophonist show. Food was good. Drinks are expensive just like else where in Dubai. Make sure you have a deep pocket for the night. Seating policy and minimum spending policy were not clear. Had the first seating, we exceeded the minimum spending, was asked to leave after 2hours and fully paid, they required another minimum spending to stay. Waitress sells hard here. Was given another table after negotiation and we tripled their minimum spending all in one night. So… it’s worth it if you understood their policy. We had great fun.

Located 36th floors up at the H Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, this place has some killer city views as well as an interesting Mediterranean and Japanese food fusion offering.

PLAY offers a wide variety of dishes all created with high quality produce and culinary zest. Some of the items on offer include a delicious pita surprise starter, wagyu beef truffle carpaccio, seafood gyoza, french fries truffles and a signature black cod that is one of the best we have ever eaten! The contemporary Mediterranean menu with its delicious Japanese twist is beautifully accompanied by a rock-star beverage listing.

The interior is decked out in warming hues of caramel and gold, and decorated with the Asian elements that add a touch of the exotic. The sleek bar area offering unrivalled views of the metropolis below is upbeat and trendy. The perfect venue to savor excellent modern cuisine in comfort and class.

A nice restaurant to spend a beautiful evening. The live shows are good and the music as well. The lounge need to be improved compared to the restuarant side.

A great place to spend the evening with your loved ones or friends. Tuesday Mashup is a must see with DJ Gaby Ghazal, one of the best entertaining nights in Dubai. Operations manager always visited our table to make sure all is perfect. We just love this place!

I went to play restaurant with a few friends and had the most amazing experience, the food was delicious, the entertainment was out of this world, the staff very friendly and professional, the ambiance was super cool. My friends and I will definitely go back, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cool place to eat and have fun

The Play Lounge at the H Hotel in Dubai is AWESOME. The staff, especially Clinton Pinto, the Shisha team and the women at reception are the best. If you are in Dubai, even for only one night, spend some time at the Play lounge, you’ll be glad you did.

It takes times to attend the bearer, since mostly they attend as per the look

So we had a reservation for 15 people on a Monday night, we usually go there for the risotto and pasta (which surprisingly wasn’t available) because it was a “busy” night and they only offered us a set menu. Which they didn’t mention when i called to confirm our reservation.
They charged us 650 AED per person and the food wasn’t even well distributed.
Overall the experience wasn’t that good for the price we paid

The places that offer live shows in the area are very limited, and the issue with live shows that they are very sensitive, if the content is not made well, then it becomes cheap and that damages the lounge or restaurant, but at Play Restaurant & Lounge it's well done.
Service is great, food is excellent, and the shows are very tasteful. It was captivating just ensure to book to have a good view!

Absolutely fantastic experience. The entertainment was spot-on throughout. A gentleman named Alessio made sure we were comfortable, well fed and was extremely attentive. Possibly the best night out in my decade in Dubai.

Excellent food and great experience especially after 10 pm when the show really picks up. Fantastic service. Just the reservation process needs to be improved.
