Prego's

We ate here a couple of nights. The restaurant is in the Media Rotana, so it is convenient if you are stopping in the hotel. I found the hotel buffet better value for money and a more relaxing dinning experience. The hotel buffet was about 22 GDP.

If u wanna relax, and get some ineer peace, that is the correct place
Staff are pretty helpful and the food is OK.
The payment way is really unique, just scan and pay ur owen bill

We were a group of 13 persons. Thank you Mr Abhishek for the best service.
He was very polite and courteously served us with utmost attention.
We loved the tasty food, the variety of the menu and the restaurant atmosphere.
Mr Ferdouse was attentive and nice.

Positive surprise of brunch meal selections. Excellent service. Reasonable price level for Sunday brunch.

Fantastic food, great new Italian Chef who really made already good food even better, with interesting twist, specially on testing menus - testing dinner. Quality ingredients and great vibne, with good discount, matching perfectly. Tiramisy is must try! And above all, very reasonable prices.not like you go to DIFC area and firstly apply for personal loan.

Decent Italian food with ok prices. Daughter was looking for place that served lasagna and they had a good one!

Decided to have business lunch here. I ordered a small portion of cold cuts for appetizer and seafood pasta for main. The portion is good for two. Quiet during lunch. Very good service.

It’s a shame to see a number of disparaging and unsubstantiated reviews of Prego’s.

I live in this hotel and dine in Prego’s or have room service from them 2 to 3 times a week.

The restaurant is not perfect, no restaurant is… However, it is consistently very good.

Contrary to the, in my view, dishonest reviews, I am pleased to confirm the following:

1. The menu offering (across the hotel), as in many places in the UAE, is more limited than before, as a result of Covid;
2. On the positive side, the food is actually more authentic than before, having the benefit of a recent Italian Executive Chef… The food is always freshly cooked and typically home made pasta is available;
3. The service team and kitchen are extremely accommodating and helpful when it comes to dietary requirements… Not at all how the dishonest reviews portray things - Merlanie, in particular, is excellent;
4. Prego’s has an interesting ‘bin ends’ wine collection, with a number of Italian favourites;
5. They make an excellent Negroni;
6. There are many food and wine tasting events;
7.50% off food and 20% (I think) off drinks, with the Rotana Exclusive Rewards membership (AED 1,000 a year) ;
8. The restaurant is excellent value, when compared with many other so-called Italian restaurants in Dubai;
9. The atmosphere, music and decor are nice; and, it is always spotlessly clean…

To any body who hasn’t tried it, I say please give Prego’s a go…

To all of the dishonest reviewers, your underdeveloped palates would be better off back at Pizza Hut

Decent restraunt. Did not try to many dishes. The tiramisu though was excellent with the insalata caprese and the beautiful octopus salad.

Low standard to be italian restaurant, carbonara pasta very far from original one with egg and service slow and always far even if restaurant was almost empty

Great brunch - good was delicious and the service was excellent. Children welcome. Thoroughly recommend and will return.

Overrated! Ordered their best seller which was totally bland seafood in a watery tomato based puree. Not at all worth for the price.

Set on the ground floor of Media Rotana Hotel, the place was nice but the food was more Emirati than Italian. The beef carpaccio was hood but the pasta and the pizza were average.

You can eat here good and grounded italian food as we expect as a european. The waiter ulfatula was friendly and excellent.

Premium Italian restaurant. Fancy service, food delivery, and presentation; classy atmosphere and cozy dining for couples. The food is good (7/10) and the pricing is a bit expensive. Slightly Recommended.

Good ambiance, smart and friendly personnel, very much willing to help. I had a traditional plate of pasta and pizza here, and the taste was very good as well as the cooking.  Highly recommend

Been there on Valentines Day
So so disappointed in service. Out of all Rotana restaurants it is the worst I visited. Waited for each meal around 30 minutes, waited for desert for 40 minutes, bill for 20 min. Never go there again!
