It was almost 2 years since i was here the last time، isn't good as before

isn't a place which I'll recommnded anymore

Came because of their entertainment program at night, which they calim that it will start at 9-9: 30, as per their WhatsApp chat, when I asked down stairs at the gate they said the program will start at 10: 30, but apparently it was just to fool and drag ppl in.
Service is bad never again

Love their Ceviche! Beef bone marrow tacos are amazing.
Service is terrible. There is a drug gangster running around with a Tommy gun. The stereo type is offensive and unacceptable. The rest of the waiters are trying to get guests to take pictures with the resise t gangster or wear sombreros. Only beer served is Corona in a bottle. It's too bad a restaurant with such great food ruins it with a terrible atmosphere.

I worked in your restaurant PUERTO 99 for two years of my life serving and making money for you not until April 2023 when your manager Mr Anothonio terminated my contract without any just reason because of his hatred on me.
In the termination letter the company promised to pay me my April salary and my settlements but up till now, nothing has been done about it. This same situation of not paying staffs after their service years has been a routine in Meshico group as a company. You deprive people of their rights, hard earned money and sweat.

My family back home are suffering because of backlog of salary and settlement the company supposed to pay me. The total money that the company will pay me as calculated by your HR which is tabulated on the letter headed paper of the company and i have my own copy which I will attach here is 5600 AED (five thousand six hundred dirams) but you have refused to release this money which I have been waiting since May 2023

I don’t know why you derive joy in not paying staffs that is working and suffering for your company.
Please pay me my money because I worked for it

Staff is nice but very Poor quality/price of Saturday brunch… food is very low quality and portions very small… you mainly paying for the open bar with low quality drinks…

Highly recommended crayfish if you are seafood lover and you are ok get messy while eating it was very tasty, but the rest of food we had was ok but nothing special. Overall too pricey

Modern Mexican cuisine with very good authentic roots. The Yucantan panuchos tacos were succulent and made with corn tortillas. They need to serve it with lime wedges on the side as most tacos are. The Taco Dorado Barbacoa was delicious with lamb braised in Guajillo chilli, with its typical flavor, bathed in tomato sauce and cotija cheese melted on top. The shrimp ceviche was good but not great, as it lacked flavor such as lime and herbs. The guacamole was freshly made in a real Molocajete, and was superb. The queso fundido was very good, and so were the Margaritas. The major disappointment was the Tres Lèche cake. It lacked flavor and was bland. The service was excellent and very courteous, however, the staff were very Ill informed about the food and the ingredients in the platters, which is a shame considering many patrons are not accustomed to authentic Mexican, while many think Tex Mex is Mex. This restaurant is a sister restaurant to Meshico, in the Palm. A mariachi band played briefly (it was Friday) and added a nice touch to the atmosphere. Price wise, it is highly priced, but so are most restaurants in this area. Overall, if you like modern Mexican with authentic roots, this is one of the best find in the UAE. It could be better, it could use much bolder flavors, but I guess this might not work for the average palate in this region. I would still highly recommend it.

مطعم الاجواء حلوه من فقرات راقصه ودي جي واستعراض ، الموقع حلو خاصه الاطلالة علي البحر ، الخدمة جيده جدا ، بالنسبة الاكل كانت المقبلات حلوه لكن الطبق الرئيسي اللحم ما عجبني ، الشي السلبي الي ما عجبني جدا طلب 300 درهم للشخص إذا كنت تريد الطاولة الخارجيه المطله علي البحر في الطابق العلوي ، والاسعار طبعا غاليه.

Great view of the palm, good service from our now friend Sergio, and great food. Wonderful experience for my friend's birthday.

Music was so loud it was impossible to discuss.

Food is expensive and overrated, meat is average (350 dhiram).

The only cute thing was a lady dancing while preparing guacamole, sadly the guacamole was average.

We did a Friday brunch for a birthday party and had a great time. The food is on the limited side but the entertainment (best I’ve been to in 13 years living in Dubai) and variety of drinks were excellent

Worse experience I had in many many years in Dubai. Service was really bad, although we were there when barely any people in the restaurant, it took the waiters a while to bring the menu. We ordered food and it took more than 45 minutes to get the main course and waiter lied about reason for delay. The worst part is that the main dish which I chose was red snapper fish came with a bad smell and the fish taste was off. Was really really bad. The 2 bites I had made me sick in my stomach. The chef claimed the fish was fresh but serving a bad smell fish is not something a good chef would do in a supposedly decent restaurant. The whole experience was really bad and disappointing. Serving bad food that makes you sick is unacceptable and should be penalized by health authorities

Such an amazing experience, I love how they treated us and asked us about allergies. The lady who did the guacamole was such an angel. Thank you Bonita and Jesus for such a wonderful night!

Amazing service and so much fun! Had live entertainment and the food was very nice! Would defo recommend!

I have to say that the food was good, very pricey for Mexican food, but what spoiled our visit was that we booked a table outdoors (downstairs) and the hostess told us there was a free table upstairs with a better view. At the end we where planning to use a discount app, turns out that they will decivingly invite you upstairs where surprisingly no discounts could be applied. Just be careful not to be fooled. My last time visiting this place as they lost my loyalty on my first visit.

Puerto 99 is an amazing place, always crowded, nice ambiance. The host Yana is lovely and will give you the best table. The staff really made us feel welcome, they explain about the Mexican cuisine, how all ingredients come straight from Mexico. And they make great cocktails!

I visited Puerto 99 in January and we had amazing time. Super delicious dinner, alive music. THE SERVICE WAS very fast & professional. I was mice impressed that manager himself was all the time asking if all was good & we are happy. Very good vibes. IT WAS my second time & always recommend toy friends to visit Puerto 99. Love it. A FEELING LIKE YOU ARE IN MEXICO

We had so much fun and great experience on Saturday in Puerto 99) The welcome greet makes you already feel, that it will be amazing!
The professional hostess, attentive waiters, and the guys singers, and of course the view! Everything and everyone creat a great atmosphere! Service and food is top! Highly recommend ️️️

- the restaurant itself is very nice, food is perfect, view is more than wow. But when it comes to the staff that are answering the calls they are disaster I came 3 times to the restaurant and with 3 times i am telling them i need the balcony view. First they gave our table to someone by mistake and all of them came to say sorry and and and.i did a big problem but of course they can’t remove the people anymore. Second i called and i made sure i wanted the balcony table once I came she said no ur seating is down outside I told her don’t do it again otherwise will be a big complaint now she took me directly and I was telling her please i confirmed with u many times that my table should be on balcony.
Lack of information they should listen well in the phone we decided to go to other restaurants that they are giving comfortable services not tension before we attend.

Went there for a friend's birthday. Service was good and staff was very welcoming and lovely and service was generous. On the other hand the food was really disappointing in taste and variety for the price we paid.
We took a package of 250aed per person then when the bill came it was 292.5aed after they added municipality charges and tax. No place does that in Dubai, you pay for the price they announce that shouldn't be changed later.
In Dubai, that is a very high price for a Tuesday night.
Margaritas was the only option we had in that package and they were horrible, made with flavored syrup, full of sugar, we paid enough to at least get real fruit juice in there.
We only had a few dishes in that package and none of them looked like a main dish. Guacamole with tortillas that has a bad crunch and as if it was old, cauliflower, octopus ceviche, tacos and Mexican cheese, it was all tasteless then hard and dry churros.
All in all, taste was bad, variety was poor. Bad experience I don't recommend it.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in Dubai. The best place with atmosphere and entertainment. Always tasty food and life music! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the food was very low quality, we ordered guacamole which was just bland, the fish taco which was a deep fried pastry with no seasoning or any other ingredients at all, and the chicken enchiladas which was a simple disaster (pulled chicken wrapped in a pasty and swimming in a tasteless sauce and even found a piece of bone in it).
On the positive side the margaritas were nice and the Mariachi band was excellent.

Food was disappointing and the service was slow. I'm not sure what I ate but it certainly wasn't an enchilada; Just chicken in a wrap smothered in some peculiar green sauce. My girlfriend had to ask 3 times for her rice side dish. Would not recommend.

Service was not good. Too slow and waited for to long, food too small, and taste was standard, drink where substandard, view from the bar was very nice

Nice place, with stylish interior design, food is good, staff well trained. Nice performance from band with Spanish songs.

Great service staff. But the food is not worth the heavy bill. Ordered four glasses of prosecco for a birthday celebration and it cost me 400 bucks?

Very Bad Restaurant, Do not try it

We spend 500 euros (a little more than 100e per person!) but the price is not comparable to the food and service - too much money. In conclusion the whole experience was not good, I would never go again to this place for any reason and I don't recommend this restaurant, not even to my worst enemy.

In a few words.you should better try McDonalds

Puerto 99 Very Very Bad

Was super excited to visit this place after reading some good reviews, hoping it will be the new mexican place in Dubai. It was extremely disappointing unfortunately.
Pros: Amazing view, nice decor, experienced helpful staff, food presentation.
Cons: Simply the Food! We ordered the baked mussels which was average, followed by the lamb tacos which were way below average. The main course was the grilled octopus which was half burnt. For dessert we had the molten chocolate cake which was just ok.
The place has great potential, but the kitchen needs some serious work!

With live spanish music on the ground floor and a DJ on the first floor with south american hostesses and waitresses at your service, this is one spot not to be missed if visiting the blue waters island. Drinks and food are reasonable with magnificent views of jbr and marina skyline from the terrace.
