Our table in-charge Mr. Krishna made sure to guide us, customize as per individual requests, and was quick to respond and serve. We were extremely contented and can't wait to visit again! Thank you Mr. Krishna!

As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent decor and peaceful Ambience.  The tables have a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where you can see the chef making the Kababs and tandoori. Portraits on the wall resonates with the restaurant's name and royal heritage. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth watering starters, main courses, cocktails and mocktails. The presentation of each dish is too good to trigger the taste buds. Made my Sunday Funday.

The best Indian food I have had in many, many years. The first time I have had Indian food outside of India which is truly like home, truly exceptional. All staff are very hospitable and willing to go the extra mile to cater to your needs. Started and ended our trip to Dubai with the best food.
A little on the pricey side, but it is worth it. Atmosphere was also great.

The food was spectacular. A truly deserved Michelin star. The Pani puri, star fruit and sweet potato chat, and chicken tikka sampler were our top 3 dishes. The waiters are all extremely friendly, our waiter was Satish, he was excellent

We relished the desi fatoush salad, non veg mixed grill platter and faluda ice cream with pistachio and rose. The service was exemplary and the ambiance was calming.

My review of Punjab Grill is going to be nothing short of an essay - not because i want to write one, it's cause i have so much to say about the staff, especially Mellissa (yes with a double L so please dont get her name wrong!) A lot of people visit a fine dining restaurant for the food, and the burst of flavors in every bite, but for ME, its different - any restaurant, big or small isnt defined by its food, but its service and the ambiance that the staff creates for you. If the food is the best tasting in the world, but the service and staff turn out horrible, that is what you will retain in your memory for decades to come.

This isnt the case when you enter Punjab Grill - Mellissa is literally the MOST heart warming, mood boosting, positive vibe inducing persona i have met in the longest time! She is the epitome of a gracious hostess, who quite literally goes above and beyond her role at the restaurant, and i really hope the founders are reading this review as i truly hope they know what a GEM they have sitting right under their wing! What started as a request to enter the restaurant for photos with my childhood buddy, which again Mellissa so kindly agreed to do (she took some amazing pics of us!) ended up with an encounter of a lifetime! We showed up 2 days later for their corporate lunch, which was beyond fabulous! The biryanis were served in really cute stand bowls which looked like large egg holders, with their lion head logo embossed on it. As we had reached on the cusp of Eid, we were served haleem which was gastronomically fabulous, which i assume isnt an usual entry in their CL menu. The butter chicken was sweet for my liking, but that's not on them - my darling half has told me that generally butter chicken in restaurants is prepared on the sweeter side, but i am sure if you like it more on the fiery side they would surely oblige! (they serve food with a spice intensity on a scale of 1 to 5, which they inform you about prior to dining to choose as per your palate). The rest of the items were absolutely brain swirling yummy, and dont miss the soya chaap tikka masala! (part of the veg CL menu and NO it doesnt taste like meat, which sadly soya is famously known for but doesnt even come close to - soya has its own persona!)

Our server Dharam was super sweet, and very attentive to our needs and requests. Truly a pleasure to speak with, and took us down memory lane with chats of Thane and Bombay. Jatinder, Satinder and the rest of the staff we interacted with were also soft spoken and courteous. We are considering PG for a private lunch affair, and I met with Chef Sandeep Ail for the same - PG Abudhabi was selected for the michelin guide abu dhabi 2023, along with chef of the year for Whats on Abudhabi 2021! Needless to say, he presents himself with the same aura, as that of Mellissa and the team - amazing smile, although it was hidden behind a mask but you can tell:), very friendly, courteous and above all a good listener - He obliged with all my requests, as i had a concern with dietary requirements for my mom and few others, but he left me feeling happy and at peace knowing they will be all taken care of. Currently since Anantara Downtown is undergoing renovations, PG ends up getting hidden due to it, but i assure you once you climb up the flight of stairs, you wont regret it! The interiors are well done; opulent and rich, just like the food they serve: D On a closing note (yes this review is coming to an end haha, & i appreciate you for sparing time to read it!) DO NOT miss their paan rasmalai, and Mellissa's charismatic personality just makes it all worth coming back to over and over again!

I went to this restaurant as I was staying in Anantara downtown Dubai.
After having prawn pulav, I had food poisoning and ruined my entire trip

My 1st visy is here food very nice we try 7 course testing menu it's amazing presentetion quit impressive and taken a bottle of rose wine which pair with our food thank to dharm for food as well for wine

I've eaten here twice now and and the food has been fantastic both times. The service has been fantastic as well, Dhairam talked me through the menu and helped me find the perfect dish for me.

Very very excellent experience, food service, atmosphere and every little detail is amazing, this is a place that will make your day or night very special and unforgettable one!
My husband and I ordered a 2 set of menu one veg and the other is non veg so we literally tried everything and IT WAS JUST AMAZING!
And all words cannot describe how professional the staff are!

Amazing service, glorious food, beautiful atmosphere. Dined two nights in a row while staying at the Anantara Downtown, Dubai. The presentation of each dish was gorgeous. Great place for Indian cuisine lover. It's really amazing. Try to visit this place. Food was good also and thier staffs was very accommodating.

The food was great, the service was great the service given by Virendra was great, he went out of his way to help us. This is a fine dine restaurant but the portion of the dishes will be a surprise as they are very generous. Overall experience was too good, I would recommend everyone to try out this place at least once.

Beautiful ambience, very comfortable and cozy, good for families and kids. The food was amazing special mention to Rasmalai. The service was on point.

And again, thoroughly enjoyed the most delicious Indian food in a sumptuous seven-course dinner.

From the flavourful meal in a unique presentation with utmost attention-to-detail to a candid interaction with our friendly server Jathinder Singh, it was an overall delightful experience. The hotel has a calm and welcoming ambiance, somewhere I've loved going each time.

It’s perhaps the only Indian restaurant I know in town where everything on the menu tastes excellent and different. Exceptionally great service, food and staff. The punjab grill is „must to try“!

We had an amazing experience at the Saturday Brunch in Punjab restaurant. Our waiter, Mr. Ddhuram, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. As we were not familiar with all the dishes, he took time to recommend and explain each of them. He constantly checked on us and made sure our glasses are never empty. The plating, the service and the taste worth more than 5 stars.
Thank you once again for the wonderful afternoon.

Brunch at Punjab Grill Dubai is a sophisticated outing. White linen table clothes and napkins, complimented with plush chairs and curtains.
A long lazy lunch affair (don’t be in a rush!) and come hungry.

Premium drinks from India, that compliment each dish including your “not-so-usual cocktails”, a refreshing change to otherwise many “cheap” mass produced drinks served at some brunches in Dubai.

If you’re lucky, you’ll have Dharam serve you, suggesting and explaining the various dishes from the Punjab area of India. His passion is truly beautiful.
Try different dishes from the various courses and share between each other.

A very rewarding experience. We have visited the one in Abu Dhabi multiple times and this was the first time we chose the Dubai location and it was as great an experience as we have had in the past. We were also very well guided by Sapna who recommended the right choices for our vegetarian group of 5. Definitely worth a visit again and again…

Wow cant explain the food it was such an elegant and modern Indian, food is out of this world and staff were excellent, big up the chefs because the food was banging. 100% a 5 star. Big up Dharam what a legend great guy

If you wish to try Indian food @Dubai, punjab grill is a must go! The food and service offered by the chef and staff is great. The staff is very courteous. Dharam has been very polite and offered us good service.
Do try panner multani if you love kababs and a paneer lover!
