Puranmal sweets and restaurant

It's one of the worst experiences. I had today from this shop.

* Sada Dosa - worst quality, both the dosa and the sambar was not good and I paid 10 AED.
* Rasa Malai - I don't know what this is. it only look appetising, please, someone expalain what is rasamalai
* Pav Baji - If you want to learn how to do Pav Baji, let me know. I will take you to the authentic pav baji shop.

I lost 37 AED. It's oki.but, don't spoil people health and their trust in you.

Sweets are not always fresh and could be more than 3 days old. Food variety is also not good.

I hd ordered sweets gift hamper, on my phone call only, i hd very gd response from d staff, they r very professional & on time delivery was given, Thanks a lot

We went with my friends to Lulu hypermarket in Al Barsha. We decided to eat breakfast in food court Puanmall. Puranamall has many branches in dubai. They offer veg mix off Indian and Chinese. So we arder pani puri. Masala Dosa and puri bhaji was so delicious it's amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast. Please go and eat Puranmall.

Not at all satisfied with their poori set. I got 2 poori in one set and it so difficult to consume one as it was not at all tasty.chana curry and potato curry was the worst ever I ever tasted. Not recommending this place to dine in.

Extremely bad quality of food. Dosa was cold, coconut chutney was missing, sambhar was watery. Tandoori aloo was not prepared well.

Puranmal always sets highest standard for Indian chat. Yesterday had terrible experience. We ordered samosa, kachori and tikki in barsha lulu hyper market, they were stale. Wish management looks into the quality of food.

Good Indian food. Parathas are a disappointment though, but a good option for vegetarians. Quantity as compared to the price is less but food quality is good.

Food and snacks tastes below average. Sweets are average. And it’s bit over priced for what they serve

When purchasing kajukatli I checked with the guy, when was it make confirmed it was just made yesterday, which is fine considering we were going to consume the sweet, but when we tasted it, my 6yr son said it tasted bad, it's hard.

Food quality is good as usual. But unfortunately my experience was very bad. They served pao without toasted when I asked to toast manager Ganesh asked 5 AED extra for making hot without any bill.

Just went for a snack in the evening. The tray the food was given on at the counter was filthy with dirt in corners and left over chutney on all sides. Simply turns you off. Will never visit this place again.

Straight forward. I didn't like the food at all. Vegetable thali was bad. Chapati was really bad. It was made 1 day back i thought. Paneer was below average, dal was just as bad as hospital quality.
Ordered dosa. Sambhar was not up to the mark. Left the whole potato masala it was so bad. Don't waste your money here in food.

I never felt this brach has their real taste in food items. I have tried from here many times, but worthy comparing to the other branches. Just selling the brand name here, only because of the ppl rushing here. Never try from here go try some other branch.

Horrible experience.
No salt in korma, bad dosa, tasteless sambar, overall the quality levels have dropped heavily offlate. I wouldn't recommend, unfortunately this is the only Indian joint in the lulu mall.

Everything seems expensive here and not worth the money.
Pav bhaji, the bhaji quantity so so less that we didn't even order extra pav. The Mango shake which was around 18 AED and was so small drink.

The first shop in the food court. Puranmal is no doubt the best Indian chat center in Dubai.
Other than chat Pedha lassi is a must try.

Great Indian fast food n sweets served here. They are served fresh n hot. Some items are cooked just before serving. Staff is clean n every ready to dish out an extra sauces if you like.

I am a long time customer of Puranmal. Best place for Indian Sweets, special North Indian sweets. Their Mathura Peda, Parathas, and Samosa is a must try and my favourite. Prices are very reasonable and I never find them short on quality.

On a weekday me and one colleague of mine went to LULU Hyper market Al Barsha, We were hungry so we decided to eat something in the food court and we finally ordered from Puranmal.
Puranmal is a very old joint and has several branches in Dubai. They offer VEG cuisine with a mix of Indian & Chinese dishes. It is mostly famous for Indian sweets & Namkeens and it is cost effective option for vegetarian food lovers.
So, we ordered puri bhaji, Papdi Chaat, Bhel Puri, Club Grilled Sandwich and Tea.
Puri bhaji was so delicious, but the chaat, Bhel puri was not so brilliant taste wise. And the Tea was overly sweet. The Sandwich was average. The portion size is very good and will easily suffice an average hungry person.
The staff were courteous, But the service is a hit or a miss. We did enjoy our meal but it had something missing!

The samosa was okay but tea was really bad. It was elaichi water.
Their sweets are good but not chai

Twice ordered kachori. These were the most unbeatably bad kachoris, I have ever tested. Other food is average to bad. It seems that lot of food preparation has been outsourced to third parties. Laddus extremely sugary.

Their thali is the best in the lulu food court of al barsha. Great selection of sweet meats too. Their date & anjeer (fig) burfee is one of the best.
Chilli cheese toast, aloo paratha, lunch thali are some of the good options to try. They open early during weekends. During weekdays, they are open from mid-day only.

We visited lulu few days ago, we thought of having dinner at puranmal. Almost items were out of stock. Then we order

Medhu vada: it was too hard. We couldn’t eat it
Grilled veg sandwich: was ok ok in taste.
Mysore masala dosa: it was half cooked, and taste was not good.

I was super disappointed with the service and food. Never had such worse experience with puranmal. They need to work on it. Can’t even think of visiting it again in future

We visited Lulu found Puranmal in the ground floor. Had planned to have dinner in here. Most items were unavailable. Taste was horrible. We had ordered Apni Thali. I have visited other Puranmal branches which are good. This one was the worst and I recommend to avoid it.

Good staff, good service. Order masala dosa and gulab jaman. Gulab jaman were served cold. Dosa as always is good.

Happy to See that Purnamal Sweets situated in LULU Hypermarket, Al Barsha.good seating arrangement available with Covid-19 safety precaution followed. Staffs nicely behave with customer. Love to eat Samosa and Chat.
