Puranmal Vegetarian Restaurant

I never thought I could find a pure vegetarian restaurant in dubai, it's a complete set up under one roof, you name it and they have it, right from the sweets to namkeens to Indian food to sherbet to a complete multi cuisine restaurant cum sweets and snacks shop that too 100 percent pure veg, very prompt service and tasty food and a very affordable price. I recommend if you are looking for pure veg or if you are a Jain, they can even customise their recipes. I was impressed!

Food was average, sweets were ridiculous (Ras malai's milk was super thin, gulab jamun was too tight to bite and not warm enough), and it was super bad service with NO working A/c

I don't like dirty and salty food, and services are not good and too much expense also

Nine of the outlets in bur dubai and Karama have sufficient ground floor seating. Also parking is an issue. So it's good for delivery but it's not very feasible to visit n sit there to eat

Quality of Indian sweets and savouries.

I usually buy items from them for gifting also and it’s really impressive

Even I had order for one home delivery and I appreciate that they delivered on time and they snacks were fresh.

The worst service ever, i dont know whether my islamic dress made them behave so bad or whatever the reason was. It was really sad, they made me stand for like 10 min saying its full although i can see there was room and then the person arrogantly told that they are close to closing so they cannot serve although it was 10pm and they were still welcoming guest. I would never visit them again ever.

Landed here by chance. We ordered 3 dishes. Each had salt in excess and the taste of neither was palatable. We had to go to Mumbai masti across the road to fill our stomach.

May be their sweets are good but food is a disaster. Would never eat here again.

1 star for staff being dishonest. Took samosa parcel and reconfirmed with staff whether it is hot and staff assured me that it’s hot and freshly made. It was cold and had to microwave it for more than 1 min to make it edible.

Worst experience in dubai. One of the worst restaurants we tried in dubai. Food was without taste. Buttermilk served with ice in Winter. Staff is rude and service is very slow. Our dinner was reserved by our tour operator so we don’t have to pay for because it was paid in advance. But staff was behaving like we are eating there for free. So in two words: Avoid Puranmal (Just go to Rasoighar near Burjuman metro. Its 10/10 in food and services)

We went for lunch and ordered veg. Service was fast. Pani puri, channay aalo and puri was good. Chat pappri was okay.
They can improve their seating area. It was a bit outdated.

The restaurant has great quality of food and service but with this the food is expensive as well.

When you crave vegetarian Indian cuisine Puranmal is the place to turn to. With multiple outlets across UAE your craving for a taste of India will be satisfied

The taste of the gravies are not upto the expected levels, tried different gravies all are having the same odd taste (Eg.: Malai kufta, channa masala).

First time ever i tried here… their samosa, raj kachori, idli and lassi are so good. Recommend for Indian cuisine

Pathetic service, dining hours are too much different. Waiters always forced for giving order once and fast only because their kitchen closed at 10 (as per their words) kindly aware from this restaurant.

Had Masala Dosa,
Taste- low grade taste i feel. Not worth for price.
Sitting vibe: Low Grade. Feel like second class Restaurant. Not expected from them as they are charging bit higher price.

Had Pani poori, it was yummy!

I do not suggest this for South Indian food. Tomato Onion Oothappam was most obviously awful I at any point had.

Very bad food. No flavours boilde pao bhaji. Found hair in my bhaaji. Very bad sour dahi bhalla. Poor preparation and service.

Poor service in terms of timing. Simple orders like sandwich and desserts takes hours to bring. They are biased towards wealthy customers. Don’t try South Indian dishes. They could do better with smile on their face and proactive service.

Well i just found this human hair in the fresh mawa i bought today.
Few months ago i found a cockroach in their ras malai which i ignored as i did not eat that before watching.
The mawa was for god prasad and i found this.
They are not even taking it seriously and sent me replacement without any apology or responsible explaination.
This could have been serious issue with kids.
Beware guys.

One of the slowest serving restaurant. Asked for tea to be served first which was served after 15 mins, leave other food. Only 3 tables were occupied by the way. Avoidable restaurant. Must avoid in fact.
Asked for poori bhaji, first restaurant I saw which serves poori first and bhaji after 10 mins. ORDERED IDLI SAMBAR, rather would have preferred idli water.

To be frank it's more of hype about this place.or it used to be great, but now I feel its just a place people come because they used to come here before. My point is if you selling pure veg.then taste should be good. I guess they lost the old cook.

A small north indian restaurant to enjoy a quick evening snack or meal, after a tiring shopping at Meena Bazar.serves all north indian delicacies and chats.their variety on sweets also good.

Average food and poor service.

They don't attend the customers in the order they arrive. They gave menu to 3 other tables, before us, who came after us. Ordered 2 Dosas, which came one by one and the Pav Bhaji came, after 30 more minutes and when asked, they said it takes some time for pav bhaji.

First learn how to prepare dosa & sambar.

Taste is good. Highly expensive and they reduced quantity also. Workers were very rude. I have never seen such workers in puranmal. Never expected this.

Ordered pineapple juice. Received yellow coloured water and said this is pineapple juice. Very very bad.

Well the food and sweets are tasty but would not recommend going there at night time cause at night time it's soo chaotic and they don't follow covid - 19 rules and regulations

Great place for snacks and tea! Their samosas are good and take away snacks including the roasted variety is a must try!

Inspite of several Indian restaurants and eateries in Dubai, this is an institution by itself. Probably the best place to buy sweet meats during Deepawali.

South Indians might find not find the taste satisfying they are looking for.

Chaats are really good

Slightly expensive. The ambience is great. Food is good. Sweets are the best. Would be great if they had some offers.

Recommend khandvi.
Vada pav could have had better masala but was tasty nonetheless.
Dahi badha was very dry and not soft like its supposed to be.
Quantity of rajkachori chaat was very less.
Overall a hit and miss.

It was a horrible experience. I went with my family. We ordered one chili garlic noodles, one masala dosa and one pav bhaji. The masala dosa was the most worst masala dosa I have ever eaten in my life. The pav bhaji was okay. And the chili garlic noodles was also okay. The hotel does not believe in customer satisfaction. After we arrived at the hotel, we waited for 10-15 minutes and no one cleaned our table and didn't even offer water. After that we waited to place the order but again no one came for the order and it was not like the hotel was crowded or anything. In short, our experience was horrible and would certainly NOT suggest anyone to go.

Serving is not fast they are serving bhel puri but in preparing it they take around 45 minutes which is wrong so will not give this restaurant even half a star

This restaurant serves great vegetarian dishes. Especially love their dosa masala and Punjabi Thali. Youll get free refills. Prices are very reasonable. Customers mostly local Indians. Their sweets are fantastic, too

You can get fresh sweets packs from here. On the first floor you can st back an get a wide variety of Indian food and snacks.

For delivery they have very bad attitude.even if you are ordering good amount of order then too they deliver very lately or afterward they give excuses.they have only one delivery bou can you believe?

Why cant they remove that free delivery tag from all there template or menu.

Puranmal Restaurant is one of the best medium budget restaurants in UAE. They serve north Indian food, continental and Chinese. They are legend in sweets.

Been on a Chaat frenzy lately.
Tried a Dahi Batata Wada from this place.
It was delicious, yummy and had a great quality.

They have an array of sweets to choose from for every occasion.

Ve had a nice vegetarian meal in this restaurant a few days ago. The waiter was super helpful and thoroughly explained us the different dishes in the menu. The food was delicious at an honest price. The place is popular among Indian people and quite casual.

Pathetic service. Staff doesn’t even know how to talk. Not worth it. Wish I had an option of no star at all.

The food was the worst that I have eaten so far in Dubai. We ordered Matar Paneer, Dal makhni, bhindi do pyaza and rotis. None of these dishes tasted good at all. On top of it I found a hair in the roti. That was the first and last time that I visited this place.

Dear puranmal ji, food n sweets quality isnt as before. Pls stop taking our loyalty for granted. As simple motichur n karachi halwa was the worst ever. Sadly i was forced to finish all of it. Pls train ur staff or reduce ur price to half so we can say itne paise ka aisa hi milega. Thnx.

Sweet Boondi. Very nice, food also very nice.toilet is so clean like home.but no fresh tea or coffee.
