Quanjude Restaurant

Absolutely one of the best Beijing duck places in Dubai. The chef is educated Quan Ju De (全聚德）chef. We lived many years in Beijing and this is the original method for how to make the skin crispy and the meat to be juicy and not dry! It comes with 20 pancakes and sauce with veggies (cut cucumber and spring onion) it is a whole duck and you can cook soup too. Price is 128 AED. The restaurant is too small and with too many people, order delivery or pick up. Cash payment.

It feels simple, clear and warm after the renovation. The dishes are cheap and delicious. The Peking duck is 118 di a piece. It is the only one in Dubai

Not the same as the kind you’ll get in QianMen, Beijing. The slices are supper thick like it was done in a hurry. The duck has a gamey flavor as well, similar to goat / lamb. The place doesn’t look hygienic - with the amount of business they get they should at least make sure the restaurant is presentable. Too rough for comfort. People are nice though. Also, they only accept cash can be very inconvenient for most walk in customers.

The Peking Duck is simply delicious! Really yummy and tender. Ordered beef, scallops, fried rice, prawns, vegetables.

Beef and scallops are also very good. Fried rice and prawns are pretty normal. Vegetables tasted like it's home cooked. My kids love the food there.

Small restaurant but it's constantly busy. Customers just kept coming in to fill up the tables. Despite being busy, the staff still serve with smile. Definitely will go again!

Talkin about authentic chinese food amd ambiance.no fuss on the place but the food is above great. Cravings for authentic Peking Duck and Crispy Fried Shrimp.satisfied.

Excellent Food - Great Service - Lovely 'Home' atmosphere. Had Full Duck, but will definitely try the Oysters and Abalone next time.

Ordered the Beijing duck, it was quite okay taste wise, but very greasy.
If you eat that, you might as well spend a whole month only doing cardio to burn off the fat.

Best duck in Dubai! The free crispy duck skin is the best part of our every meal here! Atmosphere isn’t so great but if you can look past that, you’re good lol, also get ready to pay with cash as they don’t accept card payments

Best peking duck in town! TBH even better than those ive tried in Honk Kong! Also try their chrispy shrimp, jellyfish with century eggs, baked oyster and their hot fish soup.

Simply the best roasted Pecking duck money can buy in UAE and it is cheap, really cheap for the quality of food. 138 Dirhams for a whole duck compared to almost 500 Dirhams at Hutong. The cheap duck wins completely! Do not come here for glamor and fancy atmosphere. This is a very very simple restaurant that feels more like an untidy living room with a zero exhaust kitchen but man you'll be an instant addict to the amazing duck. I also tried the steak, it was also very delicious. This place is truly unique.

The food were delicious and service is fast. They also love cats according to a friend. We actually saw well-fed strays outside the restaurant. They could get an efficient exhaust system for tolerable ventilation. Also, there were stuff everywhere. They could improve on organizing the area to make it less of an eye sore.

Good tasting food. Portion was enough to feed 2-3 people. All of this was just 138aed. Might try other foods on the menu next time.

A hidden gem in International City. Best Peking Duck! They have generous servings. Duck starts with crispy skin then then the pancakes and other portions follow! A must for any lover of roast ducks. Gotta visit them early because restaurant gets lots of visitors. Pak choy and the barbeque beef are delicious. Highly recommended and will come back another day for more duck!

By far one of the best duck dishes I’ve ever had in my life it has never disappointed the food is amazing and always fresh! However the restaurant does need to be renovated. Friendly environment

Do not judge a book by its cover. This place is nothing like a sophisticated one. But it is definitely a hidden gem. Excellent food made by an excellent chef!

Took us a while to find the place (though we know it is totally not related to the chain restaurant in China), as we didn't expect it to be hidden at the back of the lot and so small setting.

Since the space is rather small, so it is quite congested with limited seating capacity. So best make reservation.

We ordered the set meal and it is definitely good and worthy. The signature dish, peking duck is really good, the cold tofu too.

Putting aside the (very!) old decor and the mess with boxes here and there, the food is really good and authentic! The duck is the best I had so far in Dubai. Value for money is great too: half Pekin duck, 1 huge fish soup and 1 stir fried veggies = 99 dhs!

Truly an amazing find. The place doesn't look like a high end restaurant but don't be fooled. The place May look like a home kitchen but the food they serve is waaay better than most Chinese restaurants in a much cheaper price.

We had the 99dhs set meal plus 2 egg fried rice (30dhs) and we were not able to finish all of it! The Peking duck and shrimp was so good we're definitely coming back for em and more.

Probably one of the best duck that ive ever taste in my entire dubai life. I can vouch on this one. Its been a week already and i can still taste the flavors whenev i think of it. This restaurant is highly recommended. You can blame me if you didnt like it. I give 6 stars on this.

Some people find the place not too comfy but in my honest opinion, it did remind me of the Hong Kong hawker vibes.

Still the best peking roast duck in Dubai and arguably one of the best in the world! Kid you not, this little coffee shop style restaurant in the depths of International City serves excellent crispy skin roast duck with moist flesh and accompaniments of pancakes, hoisin sauce and juliennes of spring onion and cucumber. The restaurant is barely one, really run down but clean. It’s actually a hub for pick ups of take away orders. They have a smattering of other dishes in addition to their signature duck. Service is thorough and nonchalant. If you speak Mandarin you’ll get by easily. If you speak English you’ll still get by. I first came here about 7 years ago and they are going strong, churning out ducks by the dozens if not a hundred a day. Photos of the crown prince of Dubai sampling their duck hang on the walls. I tried their beef and potato stew which was flavourful and tender. Glad to have rediscovered this place after so long and glad to see them doing better in every way (except for the restaurant decor which needs an overhaul).

If it looks like small Caffè, don't pay attention, because the kitchen is perfect, very very good Pekin duck and all dishes. Very affordable price.

If you are up for an authentic chinese experience this is the place for you. Best Pekin Duck in town and easily best one I had so far. The meat is juicy and crispy, the sauce is to die for. Seaweed salad and pak choi are good options too. Very reasonable priced.

Don't expect much from the physical place, it's a hole like a warehouse, with just 3 tables. But there you'll find probably the best Beijing duck in Dubai. Crispy and juicy at the same time.

The roast duck was to die for. Went here on a weekday so there’s not much people and they just opened. Place is small with a few tables. Traditional hole in the wall type like the ones in HK. We got the set meal for 138 AED and for 3 people its enough.

Very bad and rude experience today, especially in Dubai. After entering the venue, we were not even welcomed by the waiter. We were given a plastic Menu written in Chinese at the door, no table, while the same and only waiter went to take the order with other customers. It really felt like we were bothering them by being there so we left. Another minor point is that they only accept Cash for the bill.

Peking duck was crispy and juicy! Its a hole in the wall restaurant. Authentic and legit! Place is ordinary and to be honest I was expecting it to be average. But it really exceeded my expectations!

The Pecking Duck is definitely 5 Stars.
However the moment u enter this small restaurant, all the good reviews just went out of the window.
Why? Because of cleanliness and hygienic reasons, that's my priority when eating out.
The restaurant interior is very old. There are lots of random things everywhere. Tables and Floor are not clean. I cannot imagine if the frontal of the restaurant where they serve customers is a mess, the kitchen will be clean.
Moreover, originally International City is famous with cockroaches. So I just lost all my appetite. Despite the yummy Ducks they have. I will not eat there again.

You need to try their specialty.duck!
mapu tofu, cold vermicelli, chicken salad chilli oil, crispy shrimp, creamy mussels

Been here twice for their Peking duck, price is good and reasonable. Today we tried the combo set for 2 pax for AED99, it comes with half Peking duck+fillet fish in Szechuan spicy soup+plain stir fried garlic veg bok choy+clear duck soup. The bowl of fish was alot. We think that the combo set is good for 2-3pax as we couldn't finished everything unless you are super hungry!

The place is small though, only 3-4 tables can accommodate guests. So if you go during weekend, it might be fully occupied and have to wait or order takeaway. We did see alot of Peking duck order for take away.

Overall, the price and food is good. You also get a voucher for your next visit of AED10 discount valid for at least 1 month.

Quanjude is now our favorite chinese restaurant in Dubai. The food are amazing, delicious and authentic chinese cuisine. The Peking duck exploded in my mouth said my elder son. The taste was so good and I recommend you to try it yourself. The pancakes that goes with the roasted duck were thin and soft like handkerchief. We will come for more. The price? Worth every penny we paid.

I really liked Quanjude. It’s an authentic Chinese restaurant on the opposite spectrum of fusion and glitz. It’s small and makes you feel you’re in China. Their specialty is Beijing style duck which is served in 3 courses starting with the crispy skin with sugar then moving on to the meat in pancakes and lastly you can have duck soup or duck fried rice. This place is not fancy and you’re going there for the authentic food.

Authentic service and restaurant-style, but the food was only mamahuhu. The duck wasn't crispy, the dishes were a bit bland, except for the tofu and preserved egg.

If you want to eat the real pecking duck. Come here to Quanjude. The taste is so yummy i never tasted pecking duck like this before. The serving portions are huge, prices are very very acceptable

很好吃 。It was amazing, reminds me of my decade in China. Pure nostalgia. Will defo come again. Mian pi could be thinner but I’m not complaining. Duck skin was nice and crispy, would have preferred a little of the fat trimmed, duck meat was nice and tender, sauce was authentic, soup was delicious and the steak was ok. Xiao bai ci was yummy.
