Amazing place. visited Rasam a few days back. Lovely and peaceful ambience. Very good service by staff and the food was outstanding!
The prawns paalkonju is a lip smacking dish and a must try. Its been our all time favorite from Cochin Harbour restaurent in Karama, combined with the appams or kalappams. Also tried their Rowdy chicken, thallasery dum biryani and ambalapuzha neypayasam.
Chef Avinash .kudos to you and your team in bringing such amazing flavors to our tables and taste buds. Definitely gonna visit again.

Worst Experience.
There is nothing to say about it. Once you reach here you can feel how worst service is on going here. There is no any staff to take orders. Almost 1.30 hrs is the waiting time. Totally disappointed

So I heard a lot about this new restaurant and I thought of giving it a try. While ordering the mutton Rogan Josh they have sent me 1 PC of mutton like just 1 piece? In 40 aed you are sending me a single piece then surely your restaurant need some proper guidance.

We've long been on a quest to find a South Indian restaurant near Dubai Investment Park to cater to our international guests eager to sample authentic Kerala cuisine. Our search has happily concluded with Rasam by Avinash Mohan in Discovery Gardens, a gem just 13 minutes from our office at Dubai Investment Park and National Industries Park.

I just visited the restaurant with high expectations, eager to try out their offerings. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor service, and to my surprise, there was no one available to assist us. Despite our anticipation, we were left with no choice but to leave without even having the opportunity to sit down. It was truly disappointing!

Decided to try out this new place while walking around, which came in place on an older restaurant spice Kraft.
At first it looked good, however, we were quickly disappointed as we were literally the only ones not served their welcome drinks, this is fine it's free, but it makes you wonder why everyone else is being served.
Of course consistency is key as even our order took around 35-40 minutes, even then only 1 dish was served and I was waiting for the rice to have with it, my wife ordered their Sadhya which is basically live serving on a banana leaf, this too started only after maybe 35-45 minutes. After what seemed like an eternity I finally got my rice for my chicken dish served earlier, this only after I asked them where my food is.

I think the restaurant may have potential if they really step up their service.

Quick tip, the food is a bit on the spicy side, it's good but definitely spicy

Lovely service, food.the prawns coconut dish is yummax and also the crab dish is lip-smacking. Correctly priced too.nice new option for DG residents

We were seated, but not given the welcome plate, everybody else who came after us was given. We had to request it specially. The chicken curry was ordered with steamed rice, that again was not given together. For my child I ordered a cheese roti but they gave us plain and told us later on that they didn't have cheese. The food that I received on the banana leaf was cold. Looked very promising when we entered the restaurant. Maybe Sunday's tough day for the staff.

The food was good, Robin was serving us and he is very good, we ordered lal mans and rowdy chicken, taste was awesome, nice and peaceful atmosphere!

Food was very tasty and excellent courtesy shown by the staff a special mention of Robin for the excellent service.

Newly opened. Good food, mostly to the original recipe, meaning you will get the spice and all the original flavors as it should be.

We happen to visit their first ever BBQ buffet dinner. For AED 55 per person, it's a good spread. All the grilled items are brought to the table. Live Chaat and appam corner.

Overall good option and even their Al carte menu looks very interesting.

I had breakfast buffet continuously here, the food is very good. They have all kind of Indian breakfast.lots of varieties.veg cutlet is my favourite.the help also very good.they have live kitchen to order dosa varities we like and the egg varieties.all of them are very pleasant in welcoming. Happy with the help I got specifically (Robin, he is always quick to help and kind). Overall of you like to have a good Indian breakfast buffet this is the place

Visited this new restaurant located inside a hotel. Disappointed with the washroom in the hotel lobby, which wasn't well-maintained and had a horrible foul smell. Ordered Thalassery biriyani, but it took over 30 minutes to be served despite a small number of customers. The Thalassery biriyani was labeled as Dum, but it didn't live up to expectations in taste. Went there due to Chef Avinash Mohan's reputation, but left disappointed. Hoping for improvements as it's a new restaurant. Good luck to them.

The food was great. The non-veg options were amazing, there was sweet and spicy. I loved the dessert, especially Jamun ka Ghosala. Had a great experience there

Our experience at Rasam breakfast buffet was a great one. The spread was good with a mix of continental, south Indian and north Indian cuisine. The price of the buffet was very reasonable. The staff was very pleasant and professional and there was a good ambiance. We'll be visiting the restaurant again for sure.

The service and the food was excellent. Do not miss the payasam. It was the best recommendation by far. Our server Nachiket was very informative and made excellent recommendations
