I would highly recommend this hospital. I went to emergency last night and found some very professional and very kind staff there. I would like to thank Dr. Nabiha Ahmad Mawlawi for being very professional and emphatic, she is really such an amazing, very knowledgable doctor and very kind woman full of passion for her job. And also the customers relationship employee, Mr. Anas Omer Yousef Eleyan, who made my check out very smooth. Both of them were very helpfull with a smile on their faces, which was surprising for me taking into consideration that it is an emergency, night shift, with lots of patients. It was one very pleasant experience.
The only remark I have is regarding the insurance, there was no direct approval for NAS insurance - G Network, so we had to pay medicines. I am not sure if this has to do something with the hospital or the insurance company itself, but it would be very helpful if the hospital can get the approvals from the insurance on spot, specially for the medications which are expensive. Still the above two mentioned people made my experience really great, that the small issue with insurance was not a big deal at all.

The emergency staff and doctor are careless, rude and unprofessional they don’t even pay attention to the patient.they don’t guide neither escort you to the designated room or area.they make you set in the room and get back to chat and look at their mobiles and forget about you.

"A Ray of Hope in the Darkest Hour: Dr. Liza Maryum at Rashid Hospital"

In our darkest hour, when our world was shrouded in fear and uncertainty, we found a guardian angel in the form of Dr. Liza Maryum at Radhid Hospital. My father's life hung in the balance, and it was then that we witnessed the profound redefinition of humanity through the remarkable care and compassion of this exceptional doctor. It is not an exaggeration to say that doctors like her are, in a very real sense, next to God in giving rebirth.

Our journey began with taking our father to Rashid in a state of emergency as his blood glucose levels had plummeted. He was stabilized immediately, and further investigations commenced. We were informed of a suspected cancer, which was later confirmed to be TB. My father's health had taken a terrifying turn, and the only glimmer of hope was the expertise and dedication of the medical team at Radhid Hospital. Amid the chaos and despair, Dr. Liza Maryum emerged as a beacon of hope, a symbol of unwavering humanity in the face of adversity.

From the very first moment we met her, Dr. Liza exuded an aura of confidence and warmth that immediately put our anxious hearts at ease. She not only treated my father's medical condition with unmatched precision, but she also mended our shattered spirits with kindness, empathy, and the most delicate touch of care. She walked us through the darkest corridors of our fears and reassured us that there was hope, even when the odds seemed insurmountable.

Dr. Liza's dedication was awe-inspiring. She tirelessly monitored my father's condition, always with a reassuring smile and a word of encouragement. She was not just a doctor; she was our guiding light through the storm.

The compassion and kindness she showed didn't end at the hospital doors. Dr. Liza took the time to explain every aspect of my father's treatment in a way that we could understand. She listened to our concerns and fears and offered words of solace when we needed them most.

Today, my father is on the road to recovery, and our family owes this incredible turn of events to the extraordinary Dr. Liza Maryum. Her commitment to her profession and her unwavering belief in the sanctity of life reaffirm our faith in the noble vocation of medicine. She has redefined the essence of humanity in healthcare, proving that doctors are not just healers of the body but also of the soul.

Dr. Liza Maryum, you are an embodiment of the highest ideals of your profession, and you have shown us that in the hands of exceptional doctors like you, the term "next to God" holds a profound and heartfelt truth. We will forever be grateful for your care, your skill, and your unwavering compassion.

In our hearts, you will forever be the angel who gave our family a second chance at life. Thank you, Dr. Liza Maryum, for redefining humanity in the most beautiful way possible. You are a blessing beyond words.

Zero service, they don't know anything. The handling is not good. At the reception, there was a person who did not know how to deal with the computer. He was shouting, "How can I fix this mistake? I don't see the numbers. It's good. " I told him, "No problem, clean me up and give me my money back. " He said, "No problem, I will clean you up. This is unethical. How does a hospital work like this? " There is no training for employees

This hospital saved my husband, who after going to two private hospitals was only given an IV and sent home. He had a severe case of salmonella which the private hospitals didn’t notice (even after blood tests) he was unconscious and barely able to walk. Rashid hospital gave him the correct treatment and he was able to leave the hospital in full health. This is the most competent ER in the country, yes they are not good at communicating but what matters is that their emergency doctors are super competent.
23 September 2023 9:24
The guy customer service I spoke with today is very rude and hang up on me without even asking me if I still have any query. They told our staff that she can come back today for her records and when she came back the record department is closed during weekend. Why would somebody do that and don't know the place they work with is closer on weekend. This is so frustrating and very bad service at all

Rashid Hospital is a good place I didn’t have any issue with waiting or facilities and it’s not my first time to be there, my complain is about a disrespectful doctor who mocked me and didn’t do his job properly I wonder How He was hired there! He doesn’t qualify to work at such a high level governmental hospital dr houssam dirhali.specialist senior emergency department, I will send formal letter with details to you
14 May 2023 15:45
The worst service and the longest waiting time although no more patients in ER. I spent about 5 hours in ER.
26 April 2023 6:27
Rashid hospital was always in my good books since 10years of my residency in dubai

I am very disappointed today for the way they are taking the test for corona virus

I noticed few symtoms of the currently spreading covid19 and went to rashid hospital hoping ill be in safe hands

As i entered they immediatelt captured the fever through a screen and and sent me inside for further investigation, after waiting for more than 2 hours i was called in by a nurse first who took the fever test which was for the third time

I might not have the corona but yes i was definetly having the fever which was troubling me to sit over there for so long

After waiting for some more time, i was called by a doctor who asked me do u have fever?

And i was.mm

Yes offcourse u already have my report

Second question was have u travelled any infected countries, and my answer was no

You will be surprised what she asked me next question

*why have you came here*

Reallyy?

Means atleas check my throat how bad i am coughing
Or atleast use your symbol of doctors (stethoscope)
But nothing

She said
If you would have travelled we would have isolated you without asking you anything

Take some ginger and honey and good bye

My fever was at its peak that i couldnt stand properly

I am very disappointed by the test more over the behaviour of the doctor

May allah keep everyone safe but the world lives on hope and doctors are the first expectations we have after the almighty

Rashid hospital standard is like indian hospitals in india. Especially emergency department, staff behaviour is worst. I dont believe this hospital is in dubai

A quite positive experience with all staff members. My husband has heart failure, multiple brain strokes and a myriad of health issues that are complex in nature. The doctors are experts and highly trustworthy, they are patient centric and highly dedicated. They run a huge number of tests and careful investigations before judgements of the cases. I'm speechless. The team is considering the patient's family, needs and circumstances and arrange the medical plans accordingly. One of the most memorable experience is the one to one comprehensive conference we have had my son and I with Dr Jehangir Afzal who demonstrated extraordinary knowledge of my husband's case. Discussed with us all possible scenarios and how to assist him. He was positive and comforting, resilient and responsive though under pressure of our demanding questioning and worry. He remained reassuring, considerate and highly academic. We left the place way better than we came and with determination to go ahead supporting the case in a different way.
Also special thanks to Dr Niaz who has done wonderful analysis and invetlstigations and spoke to my son in depth about his father 's situation Dr Anas who has rescued him after hos heart attack.
Ward 9 all nurses and team members and doctors,
Ward 8 all doctors nurses and team members.
On the 51 National Day, I would state that Rashid Hospital has been always touching my heart and everyone we leave with my husband accompanying us, I stand by the big portrait of Sheikh Zayed, cry and pray his soul rests in paradise along with Sheikh Rashid, Mohammad Bin Rashed and all rulers of this country that respects humanity, defines health as one of its first priorities and provides treatment and care with dignity to all patients.

I'm so grateful to the UAE and to this Hospital in specific that rivals global health care providers and stands out.

Very disappointing experience. Besides the 2 month refund period, cash refund method was a disaster. 3 times I’ve visited cashier to solve the refund 2 month ago. Today the Al Fardan Exchange claims they don’t have any information and I had to come again at the hospital. Also, they always forget to send you bill and medical report, even the single-paper-report costed 270 aed to get. Just too many redundancy and repeated work and laziness of their admin staff. Never want to deal with this hospital again. Frustrated!
10 December 2022 12:50
First walk-in is good, But for my follow-up appointment, I Got Rejected then i need to pay more just to clean a wound that they already fixed, very disappointed service
02 June 2022 11:32
The worst hospital I have ever been! Whole my family got food poisoning after eating in the restaurant. They did not accept my kids and referred to another hospital (thanks God)
At the end doctor discharged me with a different diagnosis (gastritis) just because to charge me and wrong prescription I got the medicine for gastritis and was still vomitting because I got food poisoning not gastritis! Waste of money and time! It takes ages to be treated, blood test result when I asked all came in bold "L" "H" but doctor just said all good you need to PAY and go! They asked me to pay without any receipts. I had to pay 500 AED I don't even know for what? !
I initially went to another hospital as it was food poisoning unfortunately they referred me to Rashid hospital.
26 May 2022 7:04
1ble - even 1 star you don't worth it
Unprofessional staf, the reception guy was very rude with me
No priority to the emergency cases even if you die you need to wait more than 1 hour
- it's not an excuse because is for free you dealing with patients with a bed way
08 May 2022 11:15
Best hospital I have visited, The procedure is very smooth. Staff are all good from security guards to the doctors, all of them vibe positively.

Specifically the nurse in ward 16, Miss. Alma is very kind and really very helpful. She helped me a lot explaining all the procedures.

22 March 2022 2:17
Received a scam job offer by the name of this hospital.you should take actions about those scams
18 March 2022 2:54
Bad experience…came today after severe knee pain.totally unexpected how they make you wait.where the charges for a check up and injection and blood test costs 508 Aed.considered this hospital as a lay man’s hospital but I would rather consider going to a specialized hospital for the same price, would never recommend to anyone.they just charge you without proper check up
13 March 2022 9:10
Very bad experience from the cashier Mr. Humza Bin he doesn't know how to talk to customer in a proper manner. He doesn't know what is politeness. To get a bill copy I had to go to hospital second time (He was not responding to the phone and also to the nail I send requesting to resend the mail) each time he was not ready to accept that he has send the bill in wrong format and then when I requested to give a copy of my bill since I want it to be reimbursed then he told to go to mini Mart in hospital itself where I had to Aed 20 for poto copy of the bill. I would request that when anyone come to hospital their mid set will not be same so hospital management should try to make the procedure more easy and should keep people who can explain the procedure properly and politely

If updating the software system forces us to come next day in all the branches of DHA hospitals in Dubai.
What does that tell us? Absolute failure.
This is healthcare, your software update shouldn’t affect healthcare and serving the people.
29 January 2022 17:59
Having a terrible experience. My family member has been admitted in emergency. Immediately after performing ECG she was shifted to Resusciation and then after 14 hours to CCU and no one is allowed to stay because of hospital policy. There she is being given medication without guardian consent and not feeling well. Meeting hours has been set in this condition for the family members. What kind of pathetic hospital policy is that, you are not taking consent from family and not allowing them to see what medication you are giving. The doctors on round have convinced her inside that shw is very sick and will go through angiography. IS THIS HOW YOUR POLICY TO TREAT YOUR PATIENT
27 January 2022 3:41
I would not recommend this Rashid Hospital they are cheating people with double charges and making people register again and again.its sad that name of such prestigious place is being spoiled due to some irresponsible staff. I would recommend Nad Al Hamar Centre very good doctors and decent staff and honest people with honest services and good for not so emergency cases.

Always understand good staff will earn good name and Allah's blessings and greedy staff can spoil the reputation of such prestigious place one day whatever illwork they do will be gifted by God in disastrous way for sure.
22 January 2022 13:32
One of the worst in the world!
First, doctors dont talk to you much even while admitted, you almost dont understand what is your problem.
Second, the latterly apply expirements on you, never accept any medicine, injection or lab test without you make sure its related to your case.
Finally, before admission they talk about small amount may be paid, and then when you get discharge they talk about totally another amount, and they refuse to discharge the patient without the money, before admission they told me i may pay maximum 2000aed, and when we get discharge they told me that i have to pay 12000aed, and after negotiations they made the amount 4100aed.you just pay to get rid of them!
04 December 2021 10:28
One of the worst hospital i ever seen in my life. The staff is very bad in emergency. Emergency means to treat urgently. Receptionist the philipino girl was so rude and unconcerned. Will never recommend to anyone.
25 November 2021 12:59
It is ridiculous that they have declined to consulate my 5 years old daughter at the emergency ward since they accept only 12years and above patients at the emergency ward.
15 November 2021 9:51
One of the Best Hospitals in UAE with extremely superb medical facilities and equipped with caring and qualified medical doctors and nurses. A huge thank you to the amazing visionary leadership of this beautiful country UAE we call home. THANK YOU for the care my parents have received in this hospital's Emergency Unit
15 November 2021 9:33
Highest grade hospital covers all specialties highly qualified well experienced and fully trained staff. Very helpful and caring staff.
30 October 2021 18:03
As amazing as their staff (specially the nurses) is when you are admitted into the hospital, there on phone staff is equally worst. This 1 star is only for the telephone operators and their phone conversations. Havent had a worse experience than this ever in Dubai. Really the worst, from the operator to the internal staff to whom the calls are transferred they just want to pass the call to someone else and wont even be respectful enough to let you finish your sentence. You hold for several minutes and the person wants to pass it without a satisfactory answer. Cant stress enough on how WORST and irritating the experience was.
21 October 2021 5:01
The only hospital I can trust with my life. Even with the best category Insurance that gives me access to all the top private hospitals, this is the only hospital I can turn to and recommend for life threatning situations. Real experienced doctors who know how to handle emergencies can be found here.
19 October 2021 16:05
Took my father in ER after he had a brain bleed. They checked in CT scan and informed us that he requires a surgery immediately.

My father was in blood thinners and it was very risky to perform an operation. They never told us the repercussions of a brain surgery and just said it’s very important.

We agreed to it. Unfortunately the surgery was performed poorly and my father bled again inside the brain which led to coma and death eventually.

May Allah grant him paradise. Don’t listen to there ER doctors. Always junior doctors are put on the forefront to deal with you so if anything is messed up it keeps the senior neurosurgeons and doctors safe.

Neurology department is run like a one-man show by dr abdullah Qasim who is there to give decesions abruptly whether the consequences might be serious or not. He was not in the hospital, just consulted on phone and gave go ahead for the operation which led to a massive surgery failure.

Disappointing and horrifying experience. Reccomend strongly not to visit.
18 October 2021 11:02

I brought my wife to this place in the wee hours of the night after she had an accident, the reception and care we got is beyond exceptional. Am taking this moment to thank everyone who works in this establishment. May God bless you all and expand your boundaries. Thank you so much
10 September 2021 4:14
I roamed many hospitals and was in panic due to misdiagnosis from many disqualified and ignorant doctors who said I had a cardiac issue only to find peace and comfort with doctor Srirangarajan Narasimhamurthy, emergency dept, who confidently diagnosed my condition and ended my 20 day health distress. He made me feel at peace again after a journey of suffering, and the medication he prescribed was super effective. I am feeling great now, thank you.

Glory to qualified doctors who make our life easier and provide us with relief after a long exhausting journey with ignorant and careless doctors who see patients as a hundred dollar cheque.

I have to admit from a deep experience that doctors in Rashid hospital are qualified and trustworthy and have a deep insight and knowledge about how the human body functions.

Another thank you to the empathetic doctor in the lab, midnight shift, who did my blood test and made me feel comfortable and safe.
21 August 2021 3:49
Never take your infants to this hospital in emergency. Firstly they don’t accept infants and secondly if you take them in a panic situation and they will speak to you in such a way that it will stress you more.
Such a bad experience.
17 August 2021 18:58
Thank you Rashid hospital. Thank you to all the nurses that helped me during my stay at the hospital.

I visited yestrday, this hospital fr severe muscle spasm i cnt evn bare the pain cant sit or stand, i went to Rashid bcz i dont hv tht much money to pay to hospital, aftr the wait in emergency before the treatment they asked me to pay consultancy fee.that too 190 aed, then why is it called govermnt hospitak? Ok if it was 50-60 i cn understand it is 200 aed fr just consult a govermng doctr? Bcz of this i had to suffer more and go to another clinic, get treated and now still suffering from pain.i realt hate this management, if you trying to save life and treat be reasonable
16 May 2021 10:13
I have a good experience one of the best hospital in dubai. I had best experience with Dr. Zaghloul urology specialist for doing my friend stone removal procedure in very short time and I returned back to normal life. I have very thankful to all hospital team.
05 May 2021 22:59
Groupie staff who gather on their phones, they don’t look up and never even respond to people who come for emergency.
I had to literally shout like a public Address “EXCUSE ME! CAN ANYBODY ATLEAST RESPOND WE HAVE A BLEEDING PATIENT! ”
That’s when a moody woman showed me direction without saying a word.
I think patients can die here not because they should but because the staff are sad, grumpy and angry over whatever.
I don’t recommend at all!
If there was a score less than 1 please count me vote below it
28 April 2021 15:46
It was really sad that the person at the reception/operator who answered the call today February 27,2021 between 3: 50-4: 30 PM, didn't know on how to show respect and affection knowing that the people who's calling them might be on an emergency situation. There are people who are lost and who are doubt and he has to understand that. To the management, kindly listen to the recording and you will understand as to what I am talking about. The nurses who answered the call were very helpful and polite except to the Arabic guy at the reception/ operator. You will feel that he's very annoyed and even talking on his own language about his disappointment. Again, to the management, please take an action for this most especially on this current situation that the person who should answer the call is willing to do his/her job and assist the customers accordingly. Still, thank you Rashid Hospital for taking care of my friend. Kudos to all the health workers. We really admire the entire team. My review is just for the person at the reception. Thank you.
16 April 2021 14:19
Customer Service is very RUDE! I'm just asking for some assistance for the Staff there whom i contacted regarding our employee that confined on this Hospital but he just said that i need to call on her mobile. And i ask her mobile number so that i can call her but the Customer Service said "We don't have time for that, your just wasting our time because this is an emergency number" how come it's only for emergency even if it is very clear on their website that all the queries should call on their number. He is the worst person i encountered here in UAE. And for that it affects the profile for this Hospital. Hope he will change his "Bad" attitude.
04 April 2021 4:47
Exceptionally rude and arrogant staff.
They pretend like they are doing a favor by attending to you.
Sheer disappointment.

I swear of Allah, i have never seen something like that in a hospital of emergency, it’s a disaster for the health care in the galaxy.
First of all, for me it’s the first time that i visit an hospital in dubai nd when i went there so am not okay. I asked the security guy, “ please where should i go “ he drove me for someone that took my ID and my information and why i was there, then he told me to for another one, he was just asking me then he checked my heart’s beats, then he told me “ follow the green line “ that what i did exactly, i found i Q there, i went to the girl there just to check if am i in the right place or not, she told me in a rough why, “ just go there we will call u “ I understood that she is working with a lot of people. “ i had my set, i swear of Allah that it had been 2 hours wellah 2 hours, and am sick, no one called me, i went back to the guy the, the philipino one, “ hi sir please check if am i in the right place or not? “ as always he told me the same sentence, “ just go there we will call u “ one more 30 min, i got enough, i asked a security guy, please check that badge and tell me if it’s really my place, he did the right thing, he went in the book, he checked, the security guy did not find my name there, then the philipino guy, asked me “ sorry sir, did u go to the cashier? ” What the hell? Who told me that i need to go to the cashier? How comes, it’s my first time in a hospital here, and whoever i asked, he/she says only “ just go there we will call u “? Wellah Am from morocco, and my country in the bottom of health care, but i swear if u go to an hospital of emergency either governmental or non, wellah the will take care of u as it’s the last day in your life, i wrote a lot, but wellah it’s just because it hurts, we are in dubai, it’s not supposed to be like that, it’s a shaaaaame

Poor facilities, they want you to refer somewhere else before even listening and observing completely

Severely understaffed, long waiting times.
Like 1 nurse for 20-30 people, I am waiting more than 90 minutes already.
Staff is trying their best and are very nice but this whole hospital seems disorganized and not capable of dealing with a bigger number of people.

I’m so surprised of how the service is pretty much bad, or the after service, as I fed up my fingers with a mop stick, I went to the hospital and they took care of me but the after service where I have to go to a clinic and follow up they didn’t have my name in the order which is made me pay at least 350 AED just for a change and follow up at the mizher clinic! Why there’s no coordinate? Tricky huh? Smh
