Excellent place to have beach side dinner. Amazing view from this place and if weather is good. The place feels like heaven!

I got the edamame and the watermelon juice. Really nice that they deliver to the beach and the edamame was really tasty. The watermelon juice was a bit watery and off putting.

Though this was pretty empty on a weekday evening, but the service and the food was good! Recommend this place if you are looking for a regular meal with unrestricted views of the beach. They do not serve liquor.

Great setting; closest point to the beach without getting onto the sand. Perfect place to watch the drone show. Food and service is good; however, the lighting is too bright at night. Strong suggestion to tone down the white light!

Guys, your place looks incredible. But today’s message from one of your employee really put us off. While we took our time (literally few seconds) to decide if we wanna stay and we were standing near the table at half empty cafe (oh God, and the kid put his toys at the table which apparently offended the waitress), so immediately we were approached with a message that we need to order something otherwise we can’t sit at the table. I mean … it’s self explanatory, no? None of us was sitting but a 4 year old. I mean she didn’t even apologised and it shouldn’t have happened at the first place.just smth you should know and deal with … just a thought. Give people to breathe a bit, right? She could just put a menu at the table. Or ask us what we want to drink. Would be more logical thing to do.

It’s really a shame that The Beach (Meraas) is keeping this horrible restaurant occupying such a prime location. And horrible is the least to say about it. The food is very bad. We ordered buffalo bbq wings. They were very weird in taste and we didn’t eat them. We ordered nachos with the toppings on the side. They offered us very very small portions of salsa and guacamole. To top it up we paid AED 96 and asked the waiter to validate our parking ticket and he said that we need AED 4 to validate it for me. We regret even giving a chance to that restaurant. Never going there again and not recommending it by all means.

The staff was kind but the food can only be called horrible: from the greasy sweet potatoes over unfrozen cheese sticks to the cold fries my (late served) horrible hamburger came with. The views are ok though.

Great location but that really is only part of the experience, service was extremely slow and the staff really struggled to understand English. A really frustrating lunch!

Great experience, Great staff. Keep it up. I loved how swift the our order was delivered. The staff was extremely polite and was there to ensure we do not feel troubled. Will surely come here again on the next visit. Its recommendable and must try their varieties of drinks, fantastic location and the view is amazing.

Very cosy place by the beach. We were here yesterday for a coffee and today for a lunch as well. Friendly staff, nice food and prices are all right. Highly recommended.

Jean paul is the best he is very smiley fast kind in addition he speaks french his job is very hard to serve people in the sun to walk for miles on the sand so thank you for respecting his job too bad we don't have people like that

This is the place we really wanted to visit while being on the beach. We knew that we could get some grilled seafood here American style. We ordered two shrimp salads, grilled halloumi, and avocado toast. The food was atrocious. And my girlfriend caught a stomach infection because of it. Never ever go to this place. Also these dishes coupled with a lemonade and fresh orange juice cost us $55 come oooon!

Visited this place yesterday and can definitely recommend this place, mainly because of location! First line with open view to Bluewater island and palm Jumeriah! Perfect place to enjoy sunset
Menu is not big with mostly sandwiches and snacks. Service is good!

IF ur at The Beach JBR then this is the only place for ur food and beverages. Best in business with their mocktails and finger food. All dishes are served as quik bite and use n throw cutlery and plates. Service is at it best they will not make you wait long for your food

I will never forget my experience with this kitchen very close to JBR Beach in Dubai it was marvelous

Had a chicken wrap as a take away. It was rolled into the paper, so stuck together and was totally destroyed by opening. So not easy to eat with hands. Taste was a little strange, but that might be their signature spices (I hope). Pricy like everything here. So I won't come back.

Really loved the new yorker hot dog! The food is amazing my daughters loved it too. Plus you enjoy your food literally on the sand perfect if you have small kids.you can relax and they can play with the sand right next to you!

I don’t know about you, but Retro feels never fail to make give me some mood.
Then if there’s food? Oh well, ALL GOOD!

So, we tried Retro Feasts

A restaurant by the beach, what can you ask for more? Giving you a relaxing view while enjoying your meal. Isn’t that great?
You will notice that the restaurant is kind of look like the structure of the washrooms in the area and guess what? It was indeed one! How cool is that? They didn’t do some major reconstruction and just turn it right away into a retro and aesthetic look. Putting a nostalgic feels of the vintage inspired furniture and designs, you will fall in love with its vibe. Totally instagramable!

Lets talk about the FOOD.
The MAIN! I love their baby back ribs soaked in such an amazing sauce. I’m telling you; you have to try it! Its tenderness and taste made me asked how it’s actually done.

The smoked on the burger was superb! It was so huge and delicious. I can still taste it till now

We also had retro seafood bucket. The seafood were extremely fresh and tasty. The sauce blends well with it.
We tasted the BBQ chicken wings that was finger licking good.

An amazing drink called Coco Bang Bang was served as well and we loved it a lot. It’s a mixed of infused herbs, coconut water and CHILI! Yes, a drink with chili! You have to try to know its goodness

Hello Mello was so refreshing. It’s a drink and a dessert at the same time.

Plus, the staff are so accommodating and nice. Always checking on how they can assist you. You can even play with them on their foosball table!

Retro beach vibe and good food, what a perfect combination! Looking forward to sit and relax on this amazing comfy restaurant.

Good choice when you alone or if you want burger or sandwich i take hotdogs and retro burger it’s was good

Went here for a quick and cheap breakfast while we're on the beach. The waiter is always smiling, but she forgot our drink, so I had to get inside after we got our meal. The chicken was a little bit dry, and the English breakfast is a burger. We waited about 10 min after we finished before we saw the waiter so we could get the check.
After all, this place has a great potential, but need to work on a few things.
