I really like their sweets but the rude behavior of the staff ( the two African ladies) doesn’t allow me to come to the shop.

I ordered cake for my daughter’s birthday and it was totally Mess and they don’t help to give any resolution at all.

Their cakes are my favorite in oud metha area. Wherever I crave dense rich chocolate cake I always go for this place. Their shop is beautiful and oh so cute! Although their prices are on the higher side, their quality is good. Do try their red velvet cake its delish! Our occasions are incomplete without a cake from ribbons and balloons!

Ordered cake for my son’s birthday. Patiently they had co-ordinated and understood my requirements and design. And delivered exactly what I had imagined. Delivery service was really good too. Cake was little sweeter side this time. But it was good.

I have been ordering cakes from this place since a few years, and sometimes 1-2 times a week for corporate events Yet till date they have never given a discount or provided any offers Recently they just canceled my order at the last minute. They really should work on building and maintaining customer relationships.

Ordered Ferrero Rocher cake for my lil one's birthday from Barsha heights.
The initial impression was the cute and premium packaging with the cake intact without the slighest flaw. Moreover, the writing wasn't bad with a wee heart in red that put a smile on my face. Then came the tasting of the super moist & fluffy ferrero rocher cake. Cake to frosting & filling ratio was perfect. Ordered via Talabat n received a good deal as well. Cake was delivered in under 60 mins to Jabal Ali downtown. However, the only negative was the staff, while contacted about the orde, was in ahurry to hang up and not too keen in listening. Apart from that, I would say you guys will go a long way if you keep up this standard.

I ordered a birthday cake for my wife at Oud Metha outlet. I gave special instructions at the counter to phone me before delivering because it was a surprise. They came and rang the doorbell and handed over the cake to my wife “with the bill attached”. Disappointed is an understatement

Long time buying pastries from this shop which is near by my home cakes was good yummy strong and steady doing business.customer service was not good improve it.

Their service is frustrating, I ordered cake this morning for my father’s birthday. And they haven’t put the dedication that I requested, I contacted careem and they are saying the restaurant’s is not responding to them. I decided to spoke to them directly. I mentioned everything, but they keep on blaming careem because the dedication was not forwarded to them. It’s not who’s fault it is but the moment I called them and asked for action or solution they are not willing to do any! I even suggested to them if they can write it on chocolate and I will just place it! They wanted me to visit the store and what is the sense that I ordered it online when I have to go there so they can put the dedication! This will be my last!

I have ordered from Ribbons and Balloons on two occasions and on both occasions, they were recieved so well! I currently live outside the country, and have been ordering for my boyfriend and his family. He and his family love them every time! I cannot wait to order from them again, and hopefully visit Dubai to taste them myself.

I had a to pick up the cake at 10.30 am this morning. Even though the order was placed and payments made in full a week ago, there was a delay of 5 minutes to have the cake ready.

I ordered cake today specially mentioned for freshness but the cake delivered was half broken and also it was very unfresh. Not happy with the quality, taste and very bad presentation

Okay i can see bad reviews here but to be honest nothing from that happened to me they are very good starting from placing the order through the app then u called me to make it clear about the timeline and the massage i wanted to add and they are so thoughtful as they sent a candle and a plastic knife with the cake which made our life easier as a surprise cake it was yummy and fresh

Ribbons and Balloons have always given their best. Have been buying cake for last 2 years from them. But always miss to leave a review. This time i ordered a customized cake for my daughters 3rd birthday. We all just loved it. It was awesome. Thank you guys for making our day with that lovely princess cake. I ORDERED A CAKE FOR MY NEPHEW FOR HIS 6TH BIRTHDAY A WEEK BACK AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO COLLECT IT TODAY (14th FEB). I FOLLOWED UP ALL DAY BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR END.

IS THIS YOUR PROFESSIONALISM? IF SOMETHING WAS WRONG, THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A COURTESY CALL TO INFORM ME.

YOUR SILLY BEHAVIOR RUINED THE KIDS BIRTHDAY. I COULDNT FIND HIM A VANILLA CAKE IN SUCH SHORT NOTICE.

Their cakes are good but on the heavier side. I wish they made lighter versions, simple english or sponge cakes.all their cakes are fatty, with cream and butter.

Got Belgian Chocolate cake for my mum's birthday. It vanished in minutes. Everyone loved it.especially the birthday girl.

Surprisingly their cakes were eggless and a pretty big variety. Devil's n Red Velvet were excellent. Plus they also have cake-in-a-bottle which are small portions n make excellent gifts. A must try.

So unbelievably disappointed. A couple of months ago I ordered the butterscotch cake for a birthday and I was so thrilled with it that I ordered the same cake again for a friends going away party. I’m extremely disappointed at the difference in the two cakes. I asked for a message to be iced in it and when it arrived I couldnt read it due to smudging, the cake was half the height and no where near as impressive (apparently they’ve changed the recipe) and it was what I can only describe as a rushed job. Had it not been so late I would have returned it and bought else where as I suggest you do in the first place. When they did try to fix the writing the my simply returned it with the same cheap chocolate sauced message and not so much as an apology or a complimentary cupcake or anything for the inconvenience. Will not be ordering again and will publicise my opinions.

Awesome veg cakes. A bit pricey. They should have the option of pastries without the glass bottles. Or then take the bottles back and give a discount on the next buy. Devil's cake was awesome.
