Royal Central Hotel - The Palm

We arrived at the hotel at 7am due to an early flight. Asked if we could get our room early and were told it was being cleaned so managed to get in the room about 11: 30am which was amazing. The concierge was amazing and extremely helpful. We went to a massage at the spa in the hotel which was good. The hotel has buses that go to Dubai Hills, Dubai Outlet Mall and Emirates mall. I think because the hotel is so far round the palm, they could offer transport to the metro at the Atlantis as the only other way off the palm from the hotel is a taxi. There’s a private beach with water sports activities. Salon and gift shop on the ground floor. We were in room 223 and found a couple faults with it. The fridge wasn’t working, bathroom door didn’t shut and door to outside area didn’t close properly. We told reception who said an engineer would come and sort it. We left for the day and got back with the same problems. It didnt seem like anyone had come to sort the issues. The curtains fall off the rails when you pull them shut. Most of the staff are really helpful and we loved interacting with them. Breakfast is a large selection buffet style and everyone is friendly in there. Special mention to Shila who always had a smile on her face in the mornings and was happy to help. On leaving the hotel the concierge organised a private car to take us to the airport which was really great of them. I don’t feel this is a 5 star hotel though which is a shame. I think they could offer small things like transport to the metro without guests having to get a taxi.

Strictly speaking, it's about 3.5 stars. It is located on the artificial island of The Palm, and has the image of a luxury resort, but it is probably positioned at the lower end of The Palm. However, as long as you don't pursue luxury, you can still enjoy it. The private beach was small, but the seawater was clean. The biggest problem is that it is very far from the Dubai Mall in the center of Dubai, and you have to take the metro, tram, mono-rail, and finally a taxi, and the transportation costs are high every time you go to the Dubai Mall.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and I was happy that the menu changed little by little every day.

I decided to spend my day at the Royal Central Hotel, The Palm. Honestly, it was a very nice day. The staff are of all nationalities and speak all languages. This shows how much they care about their customers who visit Dubai from all over the world. Thank you all and I wish you all the best.

An interesting hotel, the room is quite big, it needs some repairs (the valve in the room was leaking, the shower was not working properly). At the beach, the sunbeds and tables were dirty.the location is far from everything, the hotel provides free transfers to different malls, but I did not use this option.overall, for a weekend getaway to the sea and the beach, it can be a good option.but if you want to visit the city.it's not at the top.the breakfast was varied and good

It was really great experience and very good hospitality especially meriem was really nice and we will back again.

Many spoiled guests. The staff is really patient. The food is different every day. And what really matters to me is that the rest of the food from the buffet has been recycled! That's great.

2 families that I know got sick from using the kids pool. Maybe it's all a coincidence. Just sharing my experience.

Would not recommend this hotel. This is my 2nd time in Dubai and my experience this time in this hotel isn’t good. First thing is that you get charged for every little thing here. You eat breakfast- get charged for ordering a coke. You get the all inclusive- you get the cheapest alcohol available. This hotel isn’t cheap, but if feels like it. Dinner last night had horrible food. Paid $100 for me and my wife for really bad food and again was charged for ordering a soft drink. Location is in the end of world so you need to pay a lot for every ride you want to take.
Only positive thing is the beach (which is nice every where regardless) and the staff is nice.

Overall this should not be a 5 star hotel- not recommend. There are much better hotels for this price

Breakfast lovely, hotel it’s self great.

BUT! God for bid it’s the time of the month for a woman 60aed for a sanitary product and that’s the cheapest! £10 is absolutely ridiculous for tampons! This should be offered to guests never mind 60 aed!

Quality of the hotel is terrible. Service is disquisition. Hotel seriously needs renovation. Also food on restaurants are tasteless and terrible.

The hotel is very nice but it needs some work done!
Beach is not very nice.chairs are very old, too crowded.no service.
Prices for food and drinks are too high.
Service is never 5 star level!

Beach is filthy. No jelly fish nets. Evening food is so average - prepare for beef stew or goulash. Cigarette butts everywhere. Staff rude and lazy. Pools are too small. Even the doors say push when they are to pull. Not a 5star and doesn’t belong on the palm. Not a true Dubai experience, it’s cheaper for a reason. This hotel is more suited to Benidorm than it is Dubai.

We purchased this room on an agent site. We checked in at noon, was told the rooms weren't ready, so we left our bags, asked them to bring them to a room when available and we'll get our room keys when we get in from our desert safari. We arrived back after 10pm, our luggage still at the concierge. We asked for our room key, to some silent confusion. We were given an accessible room, which was not suitable for a 5 star hotel. The shower is next to the toilet with no door, curtain or anything. The entire bathroom is a shower. I had shower water all the way to the bathroom door, the trash can was soaked, the toilet paper is only saved by a metal plate. There’s no counter space, just a sink. I understand this design is to make it wheelchair accesible, but I don't think this is a viable solution. It was a mess, and we were very unhappy. We were on the phone with the agent site trying to get out of our reservation. The manager called, only to yell at me about how the shower did have a curtain and he doesn't know what the problem is because all the bathrooms are the same. I explained that this bathroom didn't match the photos online and we argued back and forth. It's as if he had no idea what the room looked like that I was in, telling me it was an upgrade because of the balcony, which is so small it barely fits two chairs.

The next morning they put us in a proper room, also stating it was an "upgrade". But really, it was pretty standard, with the tiny balcony again. The furnishings are cheap, the walls paper thin. I can hear people walking, no matter what footwear in the hallway from the far end of the room. I hear the very loud phone ring in the rooms next door. I even heard someone’s iPhone buzz (on vibrate) next door. There is a roller blind with a remote that comes down to block the window from the bathroom wall to the bedroom. It's inside the shower, which just seems like poor planning, as it's moldy on the bottom. There's a door stopper right when you get out of the bath/shower, also poor planning. The lamp shades next to the bed were stained, don't want to know with what.

I will not be staying here again, and to call this 5-star is not accurate at all. The attention to details just isn't there. We stayed at a 5-star in Business Bay before moving to this hotel on the The Palm, and I really wished we would've just stayed at the one off the beach. This hotel wasn't worth the move.

Although we booked the biggest suite they have, I’ve had the worst service I’ve ever seen in Dubai, the staff was trying to steal money while checking in by asking me to pay when booking.com already took the full payment.
When they noticed that I knew they cancelled the 2nd payment and we’re playing dumb.
The rooms has old and dirty furniture.
They clean the balcony during the day time which was in a very basic way and they didn’t even came to withdraw the water.
Staff was unfriendly at all and they do not know anything about customer experience.
I’d never ever pay 2K AED for one night for this poor unpleasant service.
This hotel is a huge disappointment

انه من دواعي سروري ان اكتب رأيي عن فندق النخله واقامتي فيه فندق مريح للاستجمام والراحه النفسيه وغرفه جمله وخدمه ممتازه واسعار مناسبة للجميع وموقعه رائع في جزيره النخله يكفي ان تقضي ليله في هذه الجزيره الوائعه وفي هذا الفندق الذي يتيح لك هذه الفرصه وبسعر رائع. شكرا للاستاذ محمد سعيد ل مستعادته لنا وحسن الاستقبال

Really terrible, front door is awesome, it goes down hill from there. First room was dirty blind covered with black mould, and a loose electrical cable in the shower. Waited 40 minutes before I went to the reception, they changed rooms but didn’t seem bothered with a dirty dangerous room. Second room had broken glass in the bed. Front desk seemed uninterested, left a day early as I couldn’t face another day. Chef is great, service is poor, building is tired. Could and should be an amazing niche hotel but management seems an issue. The Palm is an amazing destination, other hotels are much much better.

The lovely friendly staff, the food in the restaurant was just first class, so much variety. The rooms were beautiful and so clean. The outdoor pool area was just amazing. The staff were always ready to arrange a cab for us. We were very impressed and will certainly be staying here again on our next visit to Dubai.

I like it its nice, you feel that you are in the end of the world yet everything around you, the area is so clean and quiet. Nice view, the things i didn't like was the toilet space it's too tiny then we changed the room to one with bath tub wich has better space. The room service is slow. And if you are sensitive to sounds will not be very comfortable because of of the door poor sound isolation and the annoying sounds comes from the refrigerator, Other than that we had a great stay.

الاستقبال سيء جدا و لا يرد علي الاتصال و يرد و يغلق الخط طلبت ماء و سكر اكثر من مرة و لأكثر من ساعتين بدون استجابة طلبت الصيدلية و الاستقبال اخبرني انه سيوصلني بالصيدلية و لم يتم ذلك جميع غرف الفندق ممنوع فيها التدخين و لم يخبرونا بذلك الغرفة ضيقة و الحمام ضيق جدا و مستوي النظافة سيء جدا و فكرتهم انك دفعت الحجز إذا تقيم او لا لا يهمنا اهتمام ضعيف جدا و سيء بالعميل

Nice hotel on the Palm. Offers for mine a good mix of city holiday and beach holiday.
Selection of food and drinks is ok but not extraordinary. Our room was very nice, clean and everything made a good impression.
The only thing that was annoying was the christmas music from the morning to the evening.
There is always a taxi waiting in front of the hotel.

الموقع مره رايق للي مو حاب يطلع من الفندق يصلح للعرسان هادي والخصوصيه فيه ممتازه والاستقبال والاهتمام عجبني

It's a decent 4 star place, but for 5 stars it doesn't quite enough.
Clean place with nice stuff, however the territory of the hotel is very small, and the beach area / bar is full of people. Also, it's very far from everything and there is nothing to do except swim and lay down on the beach.
The view is nice though
