Love the place, huge sand parking spot beside it for weekends crowds. The green area are vast and lovely. With clean & accessible facilities. But still there is a big room for improvement, only 1 gate open which causes long lines to enter on Fridays, need more washrooms, the parking to be closer to the gate or open a gate at the parking side, at least 1 day a week o Friday only.
There are a lot of things which the park is famous for but one key attraction are the sport facilities which it offers like tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, bicycling tracks, jogging tracks, and football pitches. It also offers wide green land where one can look to play casual games as well. It is a great spot for families as well, as it provides permanent barbecues set up around the edge of the park, boating facilities, numerous playgrounds, train rides, amphitheaters etc.
Too crowded and the smell of barbecue is asphyxiation They have to do something about the people who turn the park into their houses.no consideration for others who are not coming to eat but to enjoy the day in the beautiful green Parc They should designate a special place for barbecues and be tough on those who ignore the rules.
From today kick scooter (not electronic) is not allowed for parents in the park. Not written on the information sheet at the entrance, but security did not allow us to bring the kick scooter in the park.
While locals frequently make use of the sports facilities including tennis and basketball courts, the park is bustling with new visitors too. You’ll find a huge range of nationalities heading to this green spot to take in the beautiful views of Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Water Canal.
Rent a bike for a few dirhams and explore the park, or enjoy a tranquil afternoon in the green. Families frequent Safa Park for picnics, using the permanent barbecues set up around the edge of the park.
Great space and good for a run, a game of basketball, some freezbee, or just some quality time with the family or friends over a BBQ. The reason I didn't give this place a 5 star review is that they only have one gate open for acces which makes it very hard to get in and out of the park if you're staying at the complete opposite side.
Lovely park for children, lots of space & a place where many seem to train for football in the evenings. It will be even better when it's completely finished.
Safa Park has long been one of the more popular picnic and leisure destinations in Dubai. Located right after Business Bay, this big park is a good vantage point to see the eye-catching skyscrapers including the Burj Khalifa. The park is popular with locals and expats alike and one can see multiple games of football or cricket going on, particularly in the evenings. There is also a small lake, which used to have boating earlier (now stopped). The Dubai Canal passes right next to the park and is an added attraction. Entrance fees are quite nominal, though it's not that easy to get there by public transport.
Average park where you can chillout with families. Area is quite calm and peaceful. Another attraction is near to gate 2 you can access to canal walking and cycling bridge where you can see the best sunrise with downtown buildings.
It's good to go in the evening times and boat rides also available. Careful if you want to go sea side rude then it will be available in the morning time only. We planned in the evening time to go Burj Al arab round trip rude but they said it's available in the day time only. Last time I went in the night time, try round trip in the sea view it will be good.
Dubai canal is a fab area for a long long walk. It's wonderfully pleasant to walk along the water offering unobstructed walkways and also amenities such as benches, phone charging stations along the way.
There are cross over bridges on the safa side, however more of such bridges are needed on the other direction.
Beautiful hangout place for families and couples along the wonderful Dubai canal bank. There is paved pathway on both banks of the canal. There is free WiFi for all. Beautiful scenery at the time of sunrise and sunset, very colourful and mesmerising. The ideal season to go for walk is from October to March. The weather is good with cool breeze and aroma of water. Recommended!
Popularity of Safa Park has increased after the opening of Dubai Canal. Visitors can enjoy high speed Wi-Fi along the shores of the canal along with the astonishing night view.
Good place but lot of issue with the parking The park is huge and my daughter loved it We visited on a week day at around 10.00 am hence it was fully empty and my daughter was having an option of selecting different slides.
Nice public park. A good place to hang out and chill (but only on cooler months). I noticed a lot of people come here to charge their phones. The park is clean, well lit and has ample parking spaces. It's soothing to sit, do nothing and watch the boats sailing past.
