Salero - Tapas & Bodega

Excellent food and service. I was there on a Thursday, so they had a flamenco live music and show, which was marvelous. Prices are high, but the restaurant is inside a five-star hotel, so I was not expecting less.

Very lovely Spanish tapas restaurant.
It’s not big but the vibe is very good. Food is nice, music and dance are good.

It was my first time going there, and the customer service was good and the food was delicious.
I ordered the tapas recommended by the staff and they were all good.
Especially the octopus and truffle mashed potatoes and beef cheek pumpkin mash are the best
I didn't drink alcohol that day, but next time I come, I'd like to have wine with it️
At the end, they gave me a bullfighting figurine with the souvenir shop's logo on it, which made me happy

We went there for a dinner with collegues. Hospitality of the staff (Especially Ms Paula) was amazing.

Delicious food especially the seafood paella.
There are two sizes for the Paella dish, small & big. I have ordered the small & it was more than enough for two.

Staff are very friendly & helped us choose our dishes.

Really nice hidden little gem on the ground floor of the Kempinsky Hotel in MoE. It's a tiny restaurant that gives a sense of intimacy that's hard to find in Dubai.

The dishes are all wonderfully presented and very tasty.

The service is excellent and informed with plenty of Spanish speaking staff.

There is a full bar and live music to just top everything up.

Very highly recommended.

A cozy Spanish restaurant located in the Kempinski Hotel. Oh, how nice it is to plunge into the culture of my beloved Spain. This was my first time visiting a restaurant of this kind in the Emirates.

Fabulous lunch- been on a business lunch with 2 menu choices and had some delicious plates just like in Madrid. Spanish plates that are just fantastic. Had polpo a la gallega and fried eggplant sprinkled with honey. So delicious. A salad and the traditional antre with tomato and tomato sauce. Definitely a must

I have tried many tapas places in Dubai and I can say that Salero is the best one in town. Because it’s with the touch of Kempenski hotel, it serving the best tapas dishes. I have tried the marinated anchovies, goat cheese salad and Gambas. All were great. Thanks for the professional & kind service. The chef is very sweet just like his dishes. Place is very cozy during lunch time. They also serve business lunch from 12pm till 3pm for 150 aed.

For Spanish food lovers. Everything is literally like in Spain. So you will definitely enjoy it. Delicious food and of course must try paella and sangria. Very good service and location.

A quick late lunch after some shopping in the Mall. Its a liittle hidden away in the Kempinski hotel, but i found it eventually!

We chose to have a few sides and share, which is the spanish way! The meatballs were our favourite, but we also had the chicken skewers which were nice, and both dishes had a delicious sauce!

Cocktails, beers are plentiful, and the staff were on top of the beers once i was finished ready for another.

Great intimate spot for dinner lunch with friends, well priced, quiet and easy to talk. A good spot for a busines meeting too!

It’s years that I take my parents when they visit Dubai as it’s serving the best paella in town!

Grumpy employees, empty restaurant, sangria that tastes like toilet water & expensive tapas ($16 per dish). Will not go back.

This restaurant needs to close and reopen with fewer tables, and a smaller and cheaper menu - if they employed happier employees that would also be good.

Nice place with comfortable service, recommend the jamón with Spanish wine, grilled green chilli was fantastic! Deserve to have a visit and taste!

Last time we go here. Unfriendly blond girl at the entrance not smiling or making us comfortable. We had asked before coming on the phone specifically if we could combine both DRINK and FOOD entertainer. When we arrived they told us it’s not possible and it has to be either food or drink. The waiter also absolutely clueless. He told us first that sangria is included in entertainer, no wine. We escalated to check with manager, then he came back and said “no sangria but red and white wine”. The only wine in entertainer was not really good (very basic American wine). We left without eating anything. Last time they saw us here. They just use the entertainer to lure you in and create an embarrassing situation for you with your date present.

We waited for someone to take our order for long time and no one attended our order. Although the restaurant was empty and wasn't so busy. We personally asked for help and no one showed up. So we moved to the next cafe emporio armani where we found better and immediate service

Too noisy, impossible to keep a normal conversation with friends seated at the same table. Food portions are small and not amazingly good. Table service is very cold.

Shoutout to these guys! They truly know how to do service, super friendly and polite, they even remembered I like my wine glass chilled and there we go! Food is excellent as always. Special thanks to Erica, Santiago and Manager Paula

Best restaurant ever! Seriously no words can describe how amazing the staff, service and the chef is. Outstanding experience. Starting from Alejandro, Santiego and of course Paula. This is the only restaurant where I was actually able to remember the name of the staff. It felt like they are friends. Food was exceptional. I’ve been to the biggest restaurants names and no place can compete with this one. Hands down the best place. They also have live spanish music that relaxes you. Not too loud and it’s gypsy like guitar music. People here are high class and very low key.

One of my favorite restaurants and I always visit it. The waiters are happy. The food is very delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable

Came here for dinner as I saw some videos on TikTok. The place was inside Kempinski hotel and there is valet service as well.

It’s a very fancy looking restaurant with brilliant interiors.

We came in and the waiter escorted us to our tables and we ordered some tapas and the main item for which I came for - seafood paella.

The dishes are very expensive but sure are good on the taste part of it. The paella - the small size is really good enough for 2-3 people. I would come back here again but not often, only on special occasions. The drink which I ordered was tasty as well.

The one reason I didn’t give 5/5 is because the waiter told us that entertainers would be taken for both drinks and the tapas. I chose the drinks and tapas based on which would qualify for the entertainer coupons after checking with the waiter. But upon requesting the bill, we were told that only 1 entertainer coupon can be availed. So we had to pay an extra 60 dhs. So it was a total of 403 for 2 people which I believe was a little too high for 2 people for the food.

Either way, would like to come back again.

Amazing atmosphere and great tapas.the croquetas are out if this world. They also have live flamenco. My only beef with this place is that it doesn't have outdoor space and no windows. Not for the claustrophobic.otherwise definitely worth trying

We went to Salero restaurant to have some tapas and we love It! What such a cozy and nice place! Service was very friendly and profesional, especial mention to Paula and Valeria, both of us made our night with their special care on our tablet. Highly recommended.

Dined alone whilst on a business trip. Lively atmosphere, and excellent service. The menu was straight to the point, and frankly every plate on it made me salivate. Good wine selection too. A little pricey, but nothing that made me choke on my dinner. A little out of the way from the main city centre so wouldn't travel out there for it specifically, but since I was staying in the hotel next to it it was a perfect spot.

Around twice a month or more. The Spanish staff and the food is good. However, This place has disappointed us. We went on sat Feb 12th, and the only meal available was brunch which we accepted. We have two kids that are unfortunately celiac. We ask the manager and Maitre to please do something for them, as they are not able to eat the full menu. We were responded that they were very busy (only 4 tables were occupied) and only at 4 pm or full brunch are the options. Totally unacceptable that celiac boys cannot eat in the place. We left the place and manager came after us saying that he would make “an exception” like if he is making us a favour. Totally disappointed on the treatment of that manager

The place is a cozy and lovely interior inside. I love the concept of the live station where you can watch the chef cooks your favorite paella.staff are super nice and accommodating, the charming chef- Saad from Morroco cooks authentic and delicious seafood paella, in addition, a live acoustic band will serenade you while you enjoy your food.

Wow and wow again! This place has the most amazing croquettes and patatas bravais. The drinks are amazing and the fab service makes everything much more better and enjoyable.

Amazing dining experience last night ️ food was perfectly prepared, staff was wonderful and hospitable, and the live music was just right. Might just become our weekly ritual ️ best Spanish tapas and paella in Dubai.

Was authentisch Spanish Night!

I was with my Spanish friend and we tried to get here without reservation.

We are well assisted to table, Offered Menü. Foods were very good, just little of salt missing on few dishes but was really ok. My friend is giggling like savouring home memories, and that’s important.

Only I think, bread service is not enough we have, but they give when asked.

Live duo of guitarist and flamenco dancer, live paella cooking are entertaining.

Good selection of wine.

Last touch of Chef checking the food on our table and maitre D, there is que in wash room, she assisted us to leading to lobby wash room is a good gesture!

The food and the ambiance it is nice, but they are going crazy with prices. If you order a normal coffee they'll charge you 40AED. It's cheaper the beer.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal with friends at Salero - Tapas & Bodega 16 September 2021. Overall dining experience was undoubtedly 5 star. The service was very good, the food was well presented and well cooked.

There was entertainment by way of Spanish guitarist and flamenco dancer. I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. 'Salero' is adjacent to the Kempinski and the Mall of the Emirates and the only draw back was that I had to wait 35 minutes for the Valet parking at the Kempinski entrance to finally bring me my car.

A bottle of water is almost more expensive than a main course! How did you make the prices? Do you think a little bitte? Do not need to be a genius to this is too much! 45 aed for a bottle of water is to call the police!
I do prefer pay a main course double price than a bottle of water 45 aed! I will not come anymore!

The best place to have spanish food, me and my family were thrilled with their service, food quality and they were courteous. Sea food Paella is mouth watering along with batata pravas, fried calamari etc etc, but trust me you will enjoy the ambience, food and courteous staff

Had a great evening with friends. Generous portions and friendly staff, and the live Spanish songs and flamingo dancer were simply a joy to watch.

Went three for an office lunch and loved the warm decor. The wine display wall gave the place a whole different feel. The service was good and food was good as well. We ordered for seafood paella and a few starters - octopus, feta salad. Everything tasted good.

The bar area was super nice and I would love to sit there during my next visit.

We visited the Spanish restaurant Salero Tapas & Bodega located on the ground floor of Kempinski Mall of the Emirates for the Fiesta Brunch that happens every Friday. It is a relaxed set menu brunch where everything is served to the table. The brunch menu included cold and hot tapas, carving, paella and desserts. There are 3 packages and live music. The food was excellent, the venue is gorgeous and the service was impeccable. Salero is certainly worth visiting.

Beautiful decor, delicious food, intimate atmosphere. A really lovely place to take in a meal while feeling like you're in a rustic, old-country bistro. The slightly tucked away entry gives the feeling that the whole experience is meant just for you. Date night here will certainly impress! Would love to go back and try out the great looking wine list!

Had a great time at Solero. Great ambience, Good food and some great wine & cocktails. Overall a very good experience. If you are into tapas this is the place to go.s

Food was disappointing and menu limited, but this was due to the restrictions imposed by Covid in the kitchens. Staff were very helpful and tried to compensate.

The place is nice and the food is tasty, but please note that paella isn’t included in entertainer deal. Tapas are consorted as main course, but not paella. Also entertainer drinks deal is only valid on house wine. None of these details are specified on entertainer so it’s very misleading and unfortunately we ended up paying full price for everything. We left with an unpleasant feeling. All this misleading information needs to be corrected in partnership with entertainer to ensure that your clients are happy overall.

I really like this place and the food is probably one of the best Spanish food in Dubai. Also the Flamenco night was quite good with the live performance. Only thing to improve is the group menu. Nobody told me I had to pay in advance and the set menu is a bit restrictive and not in good quantity.

We approached the receptionist and before she looks into her list after we told her about my husband's call for reservation, she looked at us first asking "Are you sure you have a reservation? ". My husband pointed his name on her list. Although we were placed at waiting list, the approach should be proper at first! How she looks at us and that question is really offensive. We ended up to another restaurant.

Beautiful Friday brunch with fresh food made in front of you. The white and red sangrias we had were the best I have ever had!

I am a returning customer to Salero restaurant, one of my favorite restaurant in Dubai, Spanish cuisine, Tapas and more, food quality is perfect and the taste just great, nice environment and ambiance, welcoming staff and helpful, we enjoyed the paella’s taste nice and the octopus Tapas, dont miss their goat cheese salad

Absolutely amazing food! Some of the best tapas and overall Spanish food I've had in a while. A must go but it is kind of pricey. Try to get a set menu if you have a party as that really is worth it. You have to have the paella as it's there signature and try the lamb chops as they just melt in your mouth. Good service but the rating is purely based on food which was as I said outstanding on the night. Waiters are friendly and always available but they can be delayed even on a slowish night.

Excellent tapas and Spanish food generally. The open kitchen showcases the passion of the chefs when cooking.

Lovely food! We ordered the octopus, croquettes, and paella and they are all perfectly done. The head chef Marcos is great and will explain how the dishes are prepared.

BUT Friday brunch is a reaaaally slow!
Starts at 1pm and you need to sit for a full 3 hours; some small appetizers, cold then hot, are scarcely served during the first 2 hours until the main course is.at 3pm, not before. We asked for more appetizers as it is supposed to be unlimited, but it didn't come. I understand they prepare everything fresh and all, but still.better clear your afternoon schedule, be patient and not be too hungry when u show up. Sangria package helped.

A hidden treasure! Enjoyable Spanish food and beer! The flamenco band is astonishing. Extremely nice service with the Colombian staff there, though the manager is Spanish of course! Acceptable price with high quality. Recommended for couples.

Staff is super nice and it's probably the biggest strength of the place. Food is really good but REALLY really overpriced. It's basically the typical mini tapas size but more expensive than a traditional main so something not really logical here. And the guitarist is nice and talented but seriously too loud! I am not going there for a concert but to enjoy a nice appetizer time. We left without ordering more because of the sound we couldn't enjoy a date by properly hearing each other.
