Samurai sushi is the best sushi restaurant in town. Rosecail and Jeffery were our servants and they were very sweet and were the kindest ever. The sushi was very good and we really enjoyed eating them and we were truly satisfied. The attention to detail in the kitchen translated to an exquisite presentation of each dish, elevating our enjoyment. The diverse menu showcased a range of fresh ingredients, contributing to the exceptional quality of the sushi. Overall, Samurai Sushi stands out as a top-notch restaurant with outstanding service and delectable offerings.
Service. Made me nervous when booking when the line went dead in the middle of the call. Tried calling back multiple times and even emailed them but no response. Apparently, their line was being fixed that day, I asked and they explained when I got there.
Food. Not a sushi expert but everything was fresh and tasted really good. The portions were a bit small but we chose to eat all you could pack so we could order more. It takes time for the food to get to the table, so make sure you order before the next plate is gone.
Price. Value of money? We saved a lot from Groupon when I bought a voucher worth 333 dirhams (about $90) for 4 people Unlimited Sushi offer but no drinks. Coca-Cola in a bottle costs 10 dirhams (about 3 USD).
The food is dull, testless, atmosphere too dark and weird vibe, I think a lots of the reviews are fake now after I really went through them, over all not recommended

Inedible Yakisoba! My husband and I settled for this restaurant since it is near where we live. We opted for a la carte menu. The seafood yakisoba is terrible - so salty and sickeningly sweet at the same time. Instant noodles would taste way better. This happened despite me informing the wait staff to go easy on the salt for the noodles. They took the yakisoba back in the kitchen and I thought they will at least give me fresh noodles with less sauce. Wrong! They put more sugar on the noodles to mask the saltiness! Terrible, terrible
We ordered a we ordered a beef steak. It was so bad chewy dry, and the service is so bad. They told as their is no visa payment after we argued with them they told us it's okay pay with visa
All you can eat for 89 AED Good food, but service is very slow. If you want to eat a lot, order several pieces of sushi at once, otherwise you'll be waiting for hours for the next dish. The place is cramped and if you have a lot of people it gets quite noisy.
After coming a few times for the sushi, I can say that even decent sushi is not worth tolerating the service offered. Visiting this time started from asking the waiter for a space upstairs, and him redirecting to the space available, after mentioning that I specifically want upstairs, they asked for a reservation (which obviously sounds absurd in a majority empty restaurant) with a few facial expressions from the waiter we proceeded upstairs. After making the order we suddenly discovered that mostly all asked for was available in the all you can eat menu, which we got to know about from a couple who arrived later and another waiter serving them. At this point I asked if we can atleast see that buffet menu, and the waiter waved it off by insisting on offering solely the À la carte. Asking the other waiter we discovered that we should have been offered both options. No sushi is worth the spoiled mood. And it isn't the first time at this place with a pathetic service. This time it was Erik 'taking care' of our table. Don't recommend.

Was there today for lunch, we were a table for two and we loved the sushi. Especially the all you can eat offer was a solid fix for the price we paid.
Although the issue was the time between placing our order for the next tray of sushi and receiving it on our table. We waited an average between 18-20 mins between orders.
Overall in terms of food and taste, great experience! Serving time can be potentially reduced. Hope to see changes in the future with my next visit in 2022! New year new samurai!
Went for all you can eat offer, had been there before for the same offer and the sushi was good. This time unfortunately the sushi was not good, not fresh, doesn’t even look as good as before and they were very slow bringing our order
I had the worst experience ever.i called the restaurant abd spoke to someone called jeffery and i asked him is it all you can eat including sashimi and he said yes and last order is 11: 15
I came before 11: 15 and i found him telling mr only take away after i drove 23 kilometers And whne i told him i called u he said ok but first and last order and u can only order once
And he said also that its not all you can eat sashimi its only 3 peices
Why would u bring someone from far away to give him this poor service!
Disaster experience. Food very average, nothing special. Worse crew in Dubai as services. Table booking not registered, guys as we have stayed played on mobiles, not honored our order second time. Please avoid to go with kids. Worse experience in Dubai.
Place has really gone down hill with the unlimited sushi deal. Sushi used to be excellent quality, not the case anymore. Ginger was brown and clearly old. The rice in the salmon nigiri was warm, it had clearly been microwaved which was revolting. Also we had to wait over an hour for the food, which was not worth it at all. The staff were also shouting to each other in the restaurant, which made the experience not enjoyable at all. Overall, terrible experience. Never coming back!

The worst Sushi experience of my life. Everything was old, even the ginger, the edges of sashimi were dry, wasabi was dry and old, yellowish even, maki drowned in mayo. Sushi were extremely small nothing like the pictures. Sofas never been cleaned, toilet seat broken, tap inside the toilet broken, tap outside dirty, tissues lying around. Service unsatisfactory as well. Definitely never coming back, supermarket ready sushis are of high standards

The time I arrive to the place I did not like maybe cause I have get a promo thru Groupon but doesn’t matter as I paid for that 185 AED for two persons I should expect the hood service as after I’ll leave I’ll inform my friends and colleagues about what experience I have get from the place as this first and last time the staff he was assisting us he was counting how many sushi I have to order! And as he told me if u have order something u have to finish it or what! The staff they are the face of any place we need a kind people to deal with if anyone doesn’t like what he is doing better to stay at home I am saying that to myself too my company paid to me so I have to work for that! Very delicious sushi, you would think that for all you can eat sushi it would taste average but it was very tasty and I try to drag everyone i know here. The restaurant has a very chill ambiance and the interior is quite nice as well. Great sushi 10/10
Lovely food, but waited till the bill to say that they didn't have signal for their card machine. Without cash and them not suggesting any options i was forced to walk a belly full of sushi across the 40 degree pavement to the citibank and back, only to return drenched in my own sweaty puddle.
I would rate this as 3.5 stars but I can’t so I’m rounding up.
We came here for the all-you-can-eat option, which we bought through Groupon. In fact you can just ask them for the discount without having Groupon vouchers and it comes a bit cheaper as well.
We ordered multiple platters of maki rolls and sashimi, they were all tasty and fresh. This was the third time we visited, sometimes sushi feels more fresh than others. Service is good but it takes time for them to prepare your order so better to order multiple items at once and then again, before you finish the ones in front of you, ask for the next round.
Easy parking in front of the store (RTA), recommend to sit downstairs for better ambience.
Excellent Food But there is a scenario which took place today. Mr Jeffrey a wonderful gentleman had taken our order and had to welcome another guest who entered, while he was going i requested him to come back at the table as the order wasnt complete. Due to the excitement of customers he had started going up the stairs as he was halfway i tried to wave but then called him out Sayin “Hey Bro” as soon as he noticed he felt sorry and nodded his head and was on his way back down to the table, suddenly a Lady MS CRISTAL Was at my face With a Loud Voice Announcing not to Scream, Felt a little wierd as she herself was the person between us Screaming, and kept on Repeating herself quite RUDELY, As She Walked off Saying Some Phrases in Her Mother Tongue Philippine, Jeffrey apologized and knew that i wasnt at mistake. I Later Found out the Lady was a Manager at the Store which made me rethink the One Who Manages the Staff and the Restaurant technically is a Rude Human Being, Who Doesnt Have the Literal Respect how to Address a Human Let Alone a Respected Customer……….
I called to make a reservation and the man who answered was extremely rude! A very awful experience before i even got to go. I have been going for the past three years and the service just keeps getting worse!
Not the best but not the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The unlimited menu is a bit limited and disappointing. I was surprised to not even see miso soup and basic starters eg edamame on there. Sushi is not 100% fresh, sometimes the rice of the outside feels stale, cold and dry. Tempura very bad quality. Sushi roll is cut very small pieces and stingy filling portions. Sashimi is nice, maybe a bit too thinly cut though and only allowed 3 orders max. Substitutions not allowed despite each and very sushi roll is meant to be made to order and cooking staff are not flexible to accommodate small requests. Very dim dark lighting even during evening time and very depressing slow music playing in the background make diners feel very sleepy and kills the vibe and ambiance. Toilet upstairs isn’t in the best condition hygiene wise. RTA parking at the front is very limited. All in all, small restaurant it’s ok to visit at least once but don’t expect wonders. Booking is recommended and the service is mediocre friendly.

Sushi is really mediocre but good enough, however, the waiters were very rude in hosting us. Our orders were showing up super late and even people who came after us got their orders before.
Cute little place, especially when you sit upstairs. The sushi, yakisoba, and soup were delicious. The friend rice was nothing special and the salad was a tiny portion with a large price tag, so we would not order these again. We will definitely be back for sushi though. Staff was very friendly.
The sushi is delicious! And it is a calm quiet place. Busy sometimes so make a reservation! The all you can eat is amazing. They have a menu and you choose whatever and however many you want, just as long as you don't leave any to waste. Each person can order 3 of each sashimi and endless rolls. Simple rolls like avocado cucumber tuna salmon shrimp
This is the worst place I have ever eaten sushi in UAE. Do not waste your money and time going there. Costumer service is very poor and the fish was aged as if it was out for a long time before they served it (it had no flavor and no amount of sauce can make it taste better) and the fish was not professionally chopped. What a disgrace and a disappointment. I gagged eating this garbage.

This review is about Samurai Sushi & Grill in particular the one located at Mercato Mall. You can use the free mall parking. The restaurant located at the first floor along with fast food, they don’t have any dedicated place. Again, if only the management can think of having better staffing that would turn to be a great place to eat. The food is freshly cut, sliced and diced at the time the order is placed. The Filipino staff tend to cook head of time and spoil the authentic Samurai food experience by doing that.the cook was with good manners and talked to me vey will and customized my food to what I like. The drinks are way too overpriced as they are not part of the meal, in my opinion the samurai they ate much bigger portions then the one severed here in UAE. Payment can be made in card. Its good to mention that the Jumeirah branch somehow better than Mercato.
First of all it’s not sushi place we visited many places in Dubai for sushi and this is not sushi what they bring to table, first the test and food quality very low second the test and way they roll very low way for me it’s like I’m in buffet and they have small selection of sushi so if you are really sushi lover I don’t recommend it at all I knew places in jumerah with 88 dhs per person but believe me you will never forget the place and food test and quality, unfortunately the food had smell and look not clean the only reason we visit the place because our place was under some maintenance and they will open next week. We order some food for kids it’s smell really bad and not clean + the food will take for ever to come to table in weekdays. With all my respect I don’t recommend the place for sushi.
Highly advise against this place. The sushi and sashimi just tastes weird and almost rancid in flavor. My friends from Japan went with me. We all spit it out and refused to eat it. The restaurant said if you don't eat it you must pay full price PLUS YES PLUS the cost of anything you don't eat. Illegal business practices at it's best. Reported to authorities and was told they can't legally do that
Food taste good, however service is super slow you wait for 15 to 20 mins on each order, by the time you get your food you are no longer hungry! Oh and it was not crowded at all. When I asked for the reason of the delay they said cause the staff is having a meeting with the boss at the kitchen! Great sense!

The advertised offer for unlimited sushi for less than a hundred is actually very poor. I would give it a 2 stars. It is an OK type of place, not fancy, not original, the place is small and seating is tight. Service is timely and nice, but the flavors aren’t rich.
I hope this review is taken in place to address a problem with the food, went there no more than a week ago and this is a sushi place my wife and friends frequently visit, well I guess no more, food poison was terrible the day after, didn’t want to write a bad review as probably it was only me (and my wife), now a couple of friends and it’s friends have had food poison from this place too, please do something about it.
We visited this restaurant with a Groupon voucher and paid only 75AED per person for the all-you-can-eat. Good price quality. The sushi itself was basic but delicious, the variety slightly limited. Would go there again for that price. One thing I noticed was that other guest were not charged for their food wastage, which was very unfortunate to see, since they left whole plates with plenty of sushi rolls untouched. Such a behaviour should not be tolerated!
I love their sushi, unfortunately today it was fully booked, It was just weird that small sushi restaurant get full but anyway it shows that there food ia really good.
I've been to this place 3 times so far and by that you can already tell that I like this place. For 79dhs you get all you can eat sushi which is by itself one of the greatest deals you can get. Aside from that, the food served is made to order, comes quickly and is extremely delicious and fresh. The ambience is nice and the staff is friendly! If you're a sushi fan and can eat more food than you're proud to admit then this place is for you.

Great food, nice and cosy place plus good staff makes a perfect place to dine and relax. If you are into Japanese cuisine this is the place to go. Food was amazingly fresh and tasty! Value for money. We availed their “eat all you can offer” for Dhs 79. Tip: pay at the restaurant rather than purchase coupon. Its more cheaper!
Writing this comment and waiting for the food to be served. We had a table for 4 people. As soon we entered the restaurant no one there to escort you to the table. The restaurant smell very bad especially in the 2nd floor. Ordered the promotion for 3 people, and it took 30 minutes to serve the first one. So we asked for the refill and I am expecting to wait another 30 minutes. Food is good, but service is really bad, no one there to supervise the staff. Talking to each other, playing with their mobiles. I visiting this restaurant for almost 2 t0 3 years and the situation now is really bad. Suchi size reduced, no more glasses to be served with soft drinks. So I suggest increase the price but don't change the quality and portion size.
