Shakespeare and Co.

I ordered for Fettuccine Alfunghi replacing fettuccine with Penne Pasta. The Sauce was not like it used to be. It had a repelling smell but I didn't want to complain and make a fuss on it! It can be better as it used to be in the past!

من المطاعم القديمه في دبي لكن تعتبر من المطاعم المشهوره بلذة اكلها وسويت فيها من كيك وشوكليت واليوم حبيت اجرب الكوفي واخترت من عندهم كوفي لاتيه بنكهة الفانيلا البارد الصراحه لذيذه وطعمها كان حلو لدرجة اني خلصت الكوفي باقل من دقيقه وقدموا لي وياه كيك صغير وبسكويت الصراحه الطعم كان حلو ولذيذ وانصح بتجربته

Shakespeare and Co.is a restaurant located in UAE, serving a selection of Cafe, Desserts, Beverages

This cafe is now our regular when we visit Dubai mall. The beverages taste good, appropriately priced, and they serve tasty small biscuits with it free of charge. There's a loyalty card on their app and you are eligible for a free drink when you collect 10 points. Mind you they reward a point per visit whether you order one or more drinks. Their gateau is of average quality and price. I haven't tried the food for long time.

I have scored them 4 because of these issues.
1. Limited seating.
2. Uncomfortable chairs and sofa. I realise that the style of the seats is their USB because the cafe reflects Victorian times, but I am sure there are more comfortable chairs that fit with their theme.
3. The staff are friendly but it becomes difficult for them to cope when the cafe is busy because I think the cafe in understaffed.

Love Shakespeare and Co but the service in this branch is very bad, slow, unprofessional staff. They don’t listen to the order requests and bring a totally different thing.
They need to be trained how to deal with customers and give more attention to order requests.

Reminiscing the good old days of studying english literature back in school, along with some excellent eats @shakespeareansco. Our hunger pangs were satisfied with our orders:

‘Chicken Melt’: the name suggests its simplicity, but it had a lot more to convey than it seems. Starting off with the brioche bread toasted to beauty on every side, just look at that golden goodness. Layered inside are generous portions of marinated chicken, a good oozing of melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese, rucola leaves, tomato salsa, sundried tomato marmalade, and mayonnaise, served with a bowl of salted potato crisps. The chicken was aromatic especially with the hint of char it gave off, the crunch from the rucola combined with the sweet-summery tomato marmalade (loved this one), tangy-ness from the salsa that wasn’t spicy which definitely paid off as it didn’t take away the flavours and who is going to complain when there’s more than one type of cheese involved in anything let alone a toasted sandwich, aaahhh. I would say this is one of the most unique sandwiches I’ve had till now, because all the fresh ingredients used, the taste, flavours and to think of such pairings is beyond delicious, and it isn’t an ordinary eat. As well as, I did like the fact they served it with potato crisps instead of fries, gave that added crunch and edge to the entire dish. A highly recommended big bite.

‘Tortilla Wrap’: this was such a tummy-filling eat, consisting of simple yet wholesome ingredients served fresh and warm, surely made us drool. Sautéed chicken with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions and tumeric, cheddar cheese served with sour cream, guacamole, mixed greens and potato crisps, then a final toasting does it. The filling was too delicious, strips of chicken was tender, with a slight crusted exterior, the spices used was not overpowering. You get that crunch from the vegetables along with a touch of sweetness form the peppers and onions, and the tartness kicks in from the cheese. We were glad that the sides were served separately, that way you could taste the wrap individually and just dip in to get a mellow hint from the guac and the sharp taste from the cream. The guac was fresh and creamy, combine that with the sour cream you could finish those two on its own. It may seem as though there’s a lot going on, on a single plate, but it actually doesn’t feel that way.the salad with a simple dressing and the crisps served makes this dish whole. We loved every bit and bite of this, no complaints what-so-ever.

Conveniently located at one of Dubai’s prime hubs, @shakespeareandco can be found @thedubaimall. Boasting with elegance, beautiful furnitures, decors and atmosphere, this restaurant conveys everything there is of the Victorian Era. I am a fan of english literature and its novels and even better its movies, a place as such takes me back to that time. Everything about this place, especially the color schemes, tasseled lampshades as lightings and mismatched furnishings made me fall in love even more. They offer a delicious menu, also catering desserts, savouries and much more for any function/gifting or why not just drop by and eat them away. Pretty eats with pretty presentations especially their dessert selections, you cannot miss. We absolutely loved their complimentary bread basket with homemade garlic butter, so fresh and warm, the butter just melts away. We were greeted with smiles and such generosity, that our first impressions started on a high note. The staff had impeccable customer service, very attentive, quick and courteous. The manager on the floor made it a point to tend to each table inquiring if everything is upto par and are we enjoying our food. Such behaviour shows sincerity and professionalism that we deeply admired, job well done everyone.

The moment i arrived at restaurant. The Terrace area was empty and closed as they said they only open at 4pm which doesnt make sense. In this beautiful weather. The waiter told me to sit another side where it was tooo crowded and conjusted. I advised the supervisor if i could sit in terrace because of smoking shisha & they denied saying come at 4pm and you sit. Its totally disappointing from the team.

The place is good but they have a disrespectful manager in day shift, and you cannot feel free there each five min one of the stuff come to you for no reason
. Now they promoting supermarket things like chocolate

The cappuccino I ordered came in the form of waterccino! The drink supposed to be thick with a taste of coffee, what I had is water mixed with milk! Adding to the misery, the drink spelled all over the cup plate, and the waiter did not bother to clean it up to make it presentable

The staff is way over rude, they push you to order more & more! That’s no way to treat your customers, if we want to sit with a sheesha, coffee and some snacks, it’s our choice, don’t shame us for not ordering main course or an expensive dish!

Shakespeare and co.is a great place and i am a regular here but my experience at Dubai Mall outlet was the opposite of nice. The supervisor was extremely rude and uncourteous. I've never experienced such rudeness and impolite behaviour in any restaurant in Dubai ever. So dissapointed!

I was angry and he was so calm and nice. He asked my phone number and called me back for update. I realised that I forgot my bag somewhere else. You deserve my apologies and keep up the great work

Dubai mall Shakespeare is a let down. Had no idea that the menu is different there, in terms of lesser variety. My usual sandwich was missing from the menu

Very comfy atmosphere in their Victorian style outlets, although with this kind of furniture cleanness has to be more accurate. For the food I was happy with my focaccia sandwich very tasty and fresh. All the pastries that we have been trying are good and full of flavor.

They can do better.
It depends on the branch where we dine in.a bit over priced.
I will visit there if I have no other options but I wont head to it in particular.

I loveeeee their sitting area and the cake was delicious and hot, one of the very few places where I want to go back again and again

Went there for a quick breakfast. Had a large yummy granola bowl. Generous helping. Bigger than I had expected. Good service. Overall a good experience.

This place has been around in Dubai a long long time. What is great is that they have kept the quality of their food high. I had the meat lasagna this time and it looked and tasted amazing. The service was also top notch.

Vestigingen op diverse locaties in Dubai De naar mijn mening de beste zit bij het winkelcentrum de Souk al Bahar met een prachtig uitzicht op de Burj khalifa.

Food and pastry of super quality. International menu. The best shisha in Dubai. Still reasonable in price. Extremely correct and friendly service. Locations at various locations in Dubai The best in my opinion is at the Souk al Bahar shopping center with a beautiful view of the Burj khalifa.

Same Shakespear with the beloved new renovated menu, but with the special taste of the Dubai mall.

I love this network of restaurants, but the menu choice disappointed me in this branch. The choice of dishes from main course is really small, just 4 for choice. And actually the staff is not much devoted when doing their job as the staff in Abu Dhabi branches.

Was okay, still prefer coffee or tea in different international Caffe in Dubai. Nothing special service is okay not bad.

Love the food, the staff, and the furniture! Just wish they have larger tables for large order:)

Food and service was amazing. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was sour out of this world. Thankfully, the staff remade it for me and it was delicious.

I am a big fan of this restaurant, I love their food, but the service was terrible at this specific branch! Nobody came to assist us for a long time, I had to keep calling for someone (although it was not so crowded) and nobody would even see me waving! We were sitting by the glass facing the ground floor.
I hope this review is helpful and causes the staff to be more careful and attentive to every customer.

Decent place to have breakfast or lunch on 1st floor of Dubai Mall. Very good variety of salads and big portions of pasta dishes. Service is pleasant and willing to help but still needs improvements!

مقهى ومطعم وهو مكان جميل لقضاء فترة استراحة بعد التجول وشرب بعض من المشروبات السخنة كالشاي والقهوة او العصائر وتناول بعض الحلويات الغربية وتناول بعض الوجبات

Bester Service den ich bisher in Dubai erlebt habe. Service Mitarbeiter Sharif rennt stets mit einen Lächeln um alle seine Kunden glücklich zu machen und die beste Shisha zu liefern.

Breakfast at Shakespeare and Co is a must do, especially if you have decided to spend you day shopping at the Dubai Mall. It's the perfect start to the day.

Even thought most of the items in breakfast have egg in them, which leaves us with limited options, we love having their Mediterranean. Hummus with Zatar, olives and coffee.

Healthy, light and delicious.
