Shakespeare and Co. ( Café Restaurant – Pâtisserie – Chocolates – Catering)

Ordered carbonara pasta, burata salad and lasagna. So, carbonara cooked with cream, wich looks like wasn’t too fresh, taste was good but I got upset stomach even before I finished it. Same thing with burata salad, some of greens was not fresh in it. Lasagna was good tho. Coffe was good as well. We were 2 persons. They served carbonara first, then after 5-7 mins salad and then lasagna. I thought salad should be served first. Anyways, interior is cute but definitely net coming back.

Very nice staff, stylish location, tasty food, quiet / relaxing (no loud music), salty and sweet food - their cakes look delicious!
Sure, a bit pricy - but hey - you are in Marina mall and enjoy a bit of luxury. If you want to have cheap food, go to the supermarket in the basement of the mall.

Over 45 min waiting for 2 pouched eggs and slow cooced beef with eggs.just start to worry if eggs pouching take 3 min maybe they just now start to slow cooking beef for next 6- 7 hrs? !? Should I come back tonight for dinner? Please help me.still waiting.finaly after 55 min arrived.

Let start with the decor, so rococo, took me back to tavern in the greens in NYC Central Park. What unique place and what a view to the The Dubai Marina.
The service was just perfect, there when you need them and very cordial

Shakespeare is a one of a kind gem and a must visit for both residents and visitors. The food is prepared with excellence and everyone will find a cuisine to his/her own taste and preferences. I will always recommend Shakespeare.

Very vintage restaurant and beautiful restaurant food was ok, drink was good and for the service a bit disappointed no one come to check, clear the table and asking for dessert or anything i'm just seating and waiting for 30 minute, the atmosphere very nice of the marina view.

I love the vibes here…recently celebrated my birthday here and i just loved everything about it.the cute free cakes which they offer on birthdays was quite nice… loving it… taste good too… love the interiors.

This place has an amazing ambiance inside and a great view of the marina on the outside. With a variety of food choices this is definitely a good place to hang out

We've been here for lunch and we were seated outside. The view you have from there is beautiful, and you have plenty of shade while you eat. The food was delicious, I would give 5 stars to the chefs and the kitchen staff but the service was absolutely terrible, the waiter ignored us completely after he brought our food, didn't check in on us, see if we needed any more drinks, didn't clean our table at the end of the meal and we really wanted to try the dessert but because the waiter hasn't cleared our plates we decided not to, of course, he didn't even offer us a dessert menu. Absolutely a disappointing experience, I wouldn't go back even though we enjoyed the food.

Amazing terrace, very good soups, big salads, pizza were a bit strange, cakes look good, we tried 3 of them, cannot say I will come back because of the desserts. Great experience overall

The place had bad service, I was almost begging for a waiter to come take our order. Then, when the order finally came, 1 out of the 3 items was wrong, and the other came in a very dirty pot! The place was quite dirty…I couldn’t believe my eyes. Not recommended at all

Tolle Getränke, leckere Speisen und authentische und leckere Shishas.

Zudem sind die Preise niedrig. Man bekommt für sein Geld ein tolles Erlebnis mit einer fantastischen Aussicht.

My favourite restaurant, very British, reminds me of home. Interiors are Victorian, you step into a different era in English history, whilst enjoying their delightful and healthy dishes. Great service too.

Just stood on the counter for 15 minutes and no one cared, the employee's customer service is very poor, they're busy and don't care about customers or perhaps don't care about certain customers. Don't want to make any assumptions. Really poor customer service, would not recommend visiting this place.

Me and my family had a long exhausting walk till we reached marina mall.

While searching for restaurants, i found this resataurants name. Suddenly i remembered an amazing romantic dinner is its branch in my homeland.

So, without thinking, i took my family to dine here. And, as i expected, it was marvelous.

Food is good but the customer service is not good at all. Once I enter this place no one were care about me, all waiters were busy and I had to stop one of them to ask about the table, I was told smoking area is fully booked and waiter just left like this.didn’t offer a table to wait once someone from smoking area table will be available… I went out as I was not happy about how they greet me as a guest. But then I realised that my friend whom I was waiting wants only place with shisha. I came back again and the same story repeated with another waiter.they made me very angry.and I just said “so what? ! Do I have to go? ! Or u will offer me a table to wait? ! Only after that they offer me a table for waiting …. And this place says that they have fresh juices.indeed it’s not fresh.it’s just a bottled juice. I don’t recommend this place… the customer service is very unprofessional…

I am one of Shakespeare's loyal customers since more than 15 years, i have been lately to this branch, i was shocked and disappointed, they did not have cookies with the coffee it was finished, wipes finished and the worst thing was! That i ordered a club sandwich and got food Poisoning, and spent the whole day in the hospital.am really surprised as Shakespeare was never like that before, is it a change in management or any other change, but what i know for sure is that the quality that Shakespeare offers is one of the best in town, but this change, this poor quality of food and to get food poisoned thats the thing i never expected, Shakespeare just go back and offer the same quality you used to before.

Not professional at all.the waiter or shisha guy was busy with his phone with no answering to our call.all the waiters are not professional in dealing with clients.
Food is not bad.

The food is always good but the service was very slow and food was so late to be served. I set outside where there was a group of so loud people and everyone was annoyed by them.however I complained to the staff then to the supervisor but in vain.no body from Shakespeare team talked to them to be a bit down.overall I didn't enjoy my dinner due to that group of noisy people

Excellent place to have a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. I enjoyed my time there. Great tea, what an amazing menu of anything and everything. Unlike other places that offer a lot of selection this place makes every dish a delight so there is no compromise on quality!

The food was good but the staff is not very welcoming and not attentive! I wanted to come back today for the lunch, but my husband refused just because of the staff

Went for coffee and dessert. It has an interesting decor more for like tea parties for women something like breakfast at Tiffany's I suppose iv never been but I assume. They have indoor and balcony sitting area.

Again service staff in Dubai has been a major let down this trip, this place by no means was isolated on the bad service but its seems they are all busy when the restaurant has barley any customers and to place an order and ask for the bill you almost have to beg as if you they are doing a favor for you.

The coffee was fine a good cappuccino, my friend loved the exotic tart but I cant do passion fruit, the dessert I had was fine could have been more moist so I would say ok place.

It is a nice cozy restaurant. Their sweets are amazingly delicious. Their drawback is that they need more varieties.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. Had seafood spaghetti with tomato-based sauce.
Very good flavour but spaghetti overcooked unfortunately. The texture of the mussels wasn't great - seemed worse than normal frozen ones. If these points were addressed it could have been very pleasant.

The cutest place for a tea or a quick bite.
Atmosphere is wonderful.very harmonic tones and decor. Service is excelent, location is fantastic.

This is one of my favorite meals in Dubai, the food is yummy, I love the Brussel sprouts, they made it not bitter, the rest of the food that I ate that day were good except the carrot cake was too sweet for my taste. The place is decorated very beautiful with curtains and chandeliers. They have the terrace next to the water but it’s still too hot to sit outside.

An amazing place but there is this such strong smell inside that’s unbearable. It’s their significant fragrance that’s killing my senses.

Love the food, but the service is very slow. The waiters don't check on until you call them. Maybe cause they are quite busy. But this is a down point for me.

Every Friday for the last 6 years I'm.having lunch at Sheakspear's branches and me and my friends truly adore it. Always great service, always great yami and fresh food. Also deliveries take very reasonable time and it's a fair price. Love you guys keep.it up

Not just perfect cakes, but a virety of excellent hot and cold food and drinks. The perfect place for an extensive breakfast, lunch or just a break, watching people pass by and ships leaving Dubai marina. My favorite place on my way from Dubai Marina Mall to "The Walk".

Nice place to go to during the winter months in Dubai as the outside seating has really nice views. The food is good, and always well served. The shisha is also good. Place is a little small inside so not very ideal during summer months.

I love Shakespeare, the food is very tasty and the view outside is amazing.

I had lunch here at workdays and it was so crowded. The ambience is cozy and nice. The food is good. I had burger which was a big portion. This place is good for brunch, lunch and dessert that is why it is almost full all the time. Try come at 11.30 am and see if you still can get seats.

I like Shakespeare but this branch is the worst in UAE, very bad service, and almost no respect for the client. We left before to make our order as we’ve been too upset. We wille never go their anymore.

Nice interior and lovely views over the canal. Staff is polite and mostly responsive. However, the food was bellow expectations. We had salmon which was promised to come eggplant and a cocktail of mango, avocado and tomato. And it did come with all the components, but the taste wasn't right. I remember ordering the same salmon in another Shakespeare and co outlet a year ago and I believe in steas of eggplant I was served mashed potatoes which were much tastier than the eggplant. We used entertainer or else this experience would be too expensive for the dishes we had.

The food is not good as before. This is first. The salmon was super dry, the steak was impossible to chew. But the most annoying thing is the client service and behavior of stuff: very rude and very unprofessional in particular waiter Ahmed. I don’t think I’ll come ever again or will recommend someone. Disappointed.

This restaurant "offers a cozy, chic home away from home atmosphere and an eclectic menu featuring all day breakfast and a decadent array of classic French patisserie", or so its says on its brochure; we honestly embraced the elegant decor and enjoyed the terrace view overlooking the marina; the English breakfast we ordered really hit the spot!

This is a really nice place to relax with a meal and a few lagers (if that's your thing). They enclosed garden area gives a nice feel of being outside. The interior section is very comfortable. A great pub environment, large screen TVs to watch national and intentional sport features. Staff are great too, friendly, helpful.and attentive

Amazing! The service is always great here. Its never rushed and the servers are always pleasant and attentive. The food is delicious-it has some of the best breakfast choices, coffee, smoothies and pastries I've ever had. The mixed grill is also a great choice as well as the Mediterranean salad and Salmon salad:) I would highly recommend! Even the location with the view of the Marina is very beautiful

Love the ambient of the restaurant. All the food on the menu are good. I ordered a superfood salad and it’s so tasty and filling. The meal portion is big. I wish I have a bottomless stomach to eat everything on the menu!

Shouldn’t open a restaurant if you can’t handle a busy day. I could see at lease 5 tables empty but the Manager was to overwhelmed with what was happening around. He rudely says ‘We cannot serve you’. This is no way to talk to a client especially a regular one. The manager definitely needs some training in basic manners.

The worst experience ever, they tell you there is availability and then after 20 minutes of being neglected you find out that they dont, and the waiter kept pushing us to order without even having the table ready. The manager disnt say anything other than we are sorry

The application gives you a 50% discount, then when you come to ask for the bill they come up with exceptions that items not included “ which doesn’t mention clearly on the app” and it’s written in fine line in the paper menu.

Went to Shakespeare in Marina Mall. Beautiful location lovely views. Inside outside seating. Shisha outside. Menu wonderful. Excellent salads and main dishes. Well known for their cakes and patisserie. Very pleasant place with good friendly service

Coffee was good, service nice and fast, but the breakfast (avocado benedict) was below average
What I really hated was that the hookah setup was right behind me in the nonsmoking area, I kept smelling burned coal during the meal
