Hi, generally i like their outlets for retail purchase, but definitely not a fan of their online chat system & online order system

Chat service - agents attending are not that knowledgeable, and infamous excuse "visit the store", then what is the online chat team for!

Online order system - cannot return an item easily similar to the likes for amazon or noon, even if sold by sharaf dg, need to visit a store with the item!

DONT ORDER ONLINE; they have inadequate customer service and lousy delivery. The driver was rude, canceled the order, and took the item because he didn't bring a change. As a customer, I selected cash on delivery. I confirmed the amount and the changes once the driver asked about the location before delivering the item, which was almost 35 -40 minutes. But he dared to come without a cash change, and he canceled the order. He took the order from my home even before letting the housemaid confirm if there was a change at home, and he left without even saying that he would go wow, is he the driver or the supervisor or the customer services?

I called customer services, and they were lying to support the driver and asked me to wait for an additional 40 minutes because they instructed the driver to return to my place. Guess what? After 40 minutes, I followed up, and the driver was home. He said no, I will not come back. Do whatever you want!

Imagine the customer services team in all communication channels lying because of the driver's mistake and the evidence of communication with drivers confirming the facts shared with them, and they don't care.

The only thing I'm surprised about is why you confirmed the delivery when you knew you would not send the driver. Why are you misleading? Why the lies? It is okay to cancel it if you want. No one will stop you. But why such rudeness? Why am I being treated like this? Check my spending in your stores. Is this how a regular customer should be treated!? I want to see Aditi and Khalid, who confirm and promise that the driver will come within 40 minutes. Is this the way that you should solve the customer's problems! By the way, free training can be provided to the employees.

It's clear that the company doesn't care about its customers

The funny story is that during covid, Sharaf DG's customer service was excellent, and the delivery and the drivers were doing well because they knew no one would visit their stores and they might lose their jobs. Now they are showing their worst reality, which was hiding during covid, and please don't reply to this by saying sorry. Because I don't believe you are embarrassed or regret any issue the customers are facing.

The worst after sale eve, after 100 calls to their customer care they will instruct you to send WhatsApp message and after send the WhatsApp they will tell to call the customer care call center.sending an email also did not work as they will keep telling you that the concerned person will contact you tomorrow which never happed and that tomorrow did not come.

I have washing machine which still under extended warranty and suffered with them to repair, which means that I had already paid for this service at the time of purchase.

Sorry to say it but there is big difference between Sharf aftersales care and other dealers like Carrefour, who based on my previous experience with them fixed the issue and offered the needed support with 24 hours.

If I can rate you with less than one star definitely I will do.

It has been the worst experience I have ever had shopping online.
1. Experienced a delay on the delivery date
2. Afterwards, without notifying me earlier they failed to make delivery
3. Upon checking with the customer support (BTW they have been extremely inefficient and unhelpful), they said the item ordered was returned to seller, citing the reason that the contact number provided was incorrect. They did not show the basic courtesy to at least drop me an email, and I came to know of only because of constant follow ups from my end.
4. I reluctantly had to opt for cancellation of said order, and this is still pending. Apparently, this takes 1 to 2 days just for the cancellation process! This is absolutely unreasonable.
5. After this, it takes 2 more weeks for the refund, and from past experiences I am pretty sure it will take more time than that.

So I would strongly recommend everyone to only go for the in store purchase, their online shopping is an absolute mess, and their team is highly unprofessional

Every single time, they send a standard response that we are sorry and pls contact support team.they are the problem!

During my recent job interview at Sharaf DG's head office, I was excited about the opportunity to join their team as a mobile sales executive. However, to my disappointment, during the interview, they unexpectedly offered me a position in telecom sales specifically for Etisalat packages. This came as a shock as I had not applied for a telecom sales role and had prepared myself for a different job description. It was a disappointing experience that left me feeling unprepared and disheartened.

The worse customer service! Even the branch manager lies!

Highly not recommended to buy online or from the shop itself.
We purchased item by online, when it arrived to my house they were ask for ID, I did present my ID unfortunately they required ID of the purchased person (was my husband) they take back the item. I raised the complaint right after as per their support customer instruction in order able to receive my item,

In 5 hrs I made phone calls back and forth and speak with more than 10 persons of the CS agent and they are all useless.

Delivery estimated date is today and they informed me I will receive the next day, and they just say not possible. I ask to return my money they said take 2 weeks. This is ridiculous!

I asked to connect me to the manager in charge and he even worse (I wish i remember his name, he was dial me from this number 042140810) he promised us will deliver the item by 11 pm for exceptional but we not even get any call for the updates.

Very very very worse management and service! Do not buy from them.

Worst customer service ever! They product I bought was falsely advertised, I received the wrong item, and they would not replace it for me!
I spoke with customer service every day and all I got was “we will forward it to the related team and you will receive an update in 24 hours” that went on for an entire week until they decided to refund me instead of replacing the item. Oh and the reason for not replacing it was because of “an economical error”

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH SHARAF DG
This is the 4th time sharaf DG is cancelling my order. Everytime I needs my ITEMS urgently they will cancelled and they money will come back after 25 days. Normally they have to put there ITEM OUT OF STOCK then customer will not buy? Or I am not right? Or you have to call the customer and have approval before cancel the order.

16th march I order (W4222923-A), yesterday 21th morning I track my order, they put PRODUCT AT THE COLLECT POINT. In the afternoon they cancelled my order and tell me that the product is out of stock, and they will refund me 14 working days. If you see in the web site they put again delivery 26th march. Why not deliver me 26th and you cancelled.
I call customer service, they said that I have they send me link to order again then they will deliver me Saturday. Why? I can't because I don't have another money. The money still with sharaf DG.
It is not good manage customer like that.
I need my money back today or my product if not I will call police. It is too much. Enough is enough. I am so angry this morning

Chat help or phone doesn't commet to say any information when i ask about delivery time (Sir i can't commet with you i don't have delivery information) when you ask about repairs update after 1 week of delivering the item and need to know the cost of reparing or need to call the service centr to know what is the wrong with your device (sir we can't commit please wait till update come) what is the help about that, this is a wasting of time chat or phone, they should comunicate the responsable department and come back to you with an answer! Never ever buy something online from them. They will never own the item later on. They are buying phones from the streets and selling online. So the things online available with them are used or damaged. Once you complain even seconds after receiving the phone, they will not accept and make excuses that you use the phone. Then they will provide your number to their supplier and he will call you who has nothing to do or contact with you. In the end, they will ask you to either take the phone or we will give it to charity. Stealing the money and giving to charity.

Worst customer service. Cancelled my order without even calling me. They did not deliver the item on the delivery date and when I contacted them they said the delivery will be next day but next day morning to my surprise i received an SMS that my order is cancelled.
I asked for a call back from manager but the supervisor said it is not possible. Worst customer service in the world. Never buy anything from there. Very much unprofessional.

Awful service. They called me to deliver and I missed the call as I was working. They returned the item to the warehouse and then sold to another customer. Now the product is out of stock and they can’t confirm when it will be available. I imagine this is due to greedy, target, commission based sales techniques with no consideration for customer experience or inconvenience.

This is my worst customer experience ever, I tried online purchase and I had and issue (still not resolved) which is not being handled in a professional way, communication is one way, i send a request and there's no response, I call they give reference number, when calling again you start from zero
I don't know how Sharaf DG survives with this kind of Quality, and I wonder if it's an iso certified

I am writing today to complain of  very terrible service of shraf DJ Dubai mall. I brought a Pavilion HP laptop last week when I got back to home some keyboard is not working. I went to shraf DJ Dubai mall after some days because my schedule was very tight. And i shared the problem that keyboard is not working and I  question why you sold me ineffective product? They reply me rudely "its 7 days over we can't do anything otherwise you have to leave your laptop here will show to the company which may take 15,16 days. "I brought my laptop to make my job easy not to going every time to your shop and complain.
Of course, this made me disappointed. I always valued and trusted each and every one of your product. But not this time.

I look forward to your immediate reply and a resolution to my problem. I was ripped off.

As mentioned by others. Terrible customer service. The website is misleading and cannot be trusted. Aftersales care non existent with agents unable to help. No call backs despite being promised at least 7 times over 2 days. No response to emails. Plenty of other places to purchase from. You just lost another customer. However I doubt you care much and you'll respond with your standard response with "please email us" - I did and got nowhere.

This is the worst service ever received for an online purchase. First of all you go to customer support online it's a simple robot that's responding to you not even a human being calling you to offer service. Secondly it has taken days than expected for my delivery to be done.

I sincerely requested the day that I made the purchase that this order had to be been done on a day when I'm at home (during the week) and nothing has been delivered till now.

I called them apparently they have the worst humans in their offices. The lady sounded African and is greatly rude! I asked her politely about my delivery update she blankly told me she cannot assist me because the order is with the driver, I asked for the driver's number she told me she cannot assist me with that either and it's not her problem! I wonder what's her job in customer service if assisting me is something she cannot do.

I have sent an email to support informing them that I need the delivery ASAP as I will not be available with the holiday coming up and I'm told office is closed they cannot assist me. How ridiculous is this.

NEVER EVER am I buying anything from them even the instore purchases! On another day I went to their store in MOE, the phillipino lady simply ignored me when I wanted to buy a Samsung phone. She kept talking to her colleague about an accident that had happened on her way to work. Never did hey recognize me or even offered to assist me in making a purchase.

I only bought the phone because I had previously done my research and I knew what I wanted.

What I shame to be receiving terrible service from @Sharaf DG! What a SHAME!

Management please dont respond to this message if ALL you can do as customer service people is send a "we are sorry, we apologise" and still you do nothing about it. What an embarrassment!

After-sales service is abysmal.

Our three month old fridge was broken (not cold) 10 days ago - still under warranty - so we called them up for replacement.
First, they said a repairman will first come to check in 2-3 business days. We followed up with phone calls to customer service but we’re told there’s nothing they could do to help. Still nothing from them now.
We’ve had to throw away so much food and try to survive without a fridge for 10 days now.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I bought a fridge 01 April which broke down on 28 July. Living in the middle of the desert in the height of summer, obviously a fridge is a necessity so I called and asked for urgent repair (ticket number #4180816). I was told it would take 2-3 working days for someone to visit. It's is now 09 Aug and I have STILL NOT HAD A REPAIRMAN VISIT. The fridge is clearly in warranty, and after calling 5 times and writing complaints on their website, I said that I would hire a private repairman and charge them with the invoice because I need a fridge. I was told this was invalidate the warranty. I then said I would escalate to a consumer protection agency, but the agent misinformed me that if I chose to escalate to Consumer Protection Department the investigation would take weeks and it's just better for me to wait.

Well after waiting another week I finally decided to contact Consumer Protection Department to escalate my complaints. Within 24 hours I received a call from a repairman.but he only realised after 3 calls and various WhatsApp messages that I'm based in Dubai and not Abu Dhabi. He told me I would have to wait until someone from the Dubai office calls, minimum 24 hours wait. The amount of money I've wasted on food that has rotted and takeaways is ridiculous. I'll update as, when and if the faulty fridge is fixed or replaced but I don't have much hope this will be solved soon. Worse customer service ever.

UPDATE: We had 2 repairman visit today Sun 15 Aug to replace a faulty fan. Not great communication as to what was going on. One guy arrived and did a test - told us he would come back tomorrow. Then another guy showed up 20mins later and replaced the fan. Fridge now seems to be working but we have loud whirring noise and our concern is that it will break again.

They are not fulfilling promises of delivery or giving any information regarding your concern,
I have made big mistake that ordered from them and wasted my time and money,

Recommend you do not by online with this company, had been loyal in store customer for years spending thousands upon thousands seems now they just a poor reseller at best, purchased TV during promo for Ramadan didn't need TV for 3 weeks until moved, come to open all fine plug TV in and screen does not work, file complaint, return to them, ah you have made physical damage to TV not covered under warranty, i will post pictures below to see if anyone else can spot this physical damage as i am unable to see this with my magnifying glass also, called there team 7 times in 10 days days during this time and every time promised a call back within 24 hours not once did i get a call back even to explain, only email from there warehouse saying i physically damage TV have asked for report and evidence but yet to be supplied, so result is now stuck with TV they sent me which does not work and stating if you don't check within 24 hours of delivery you are not covered (quoted on email) not sure how this works when its not even damaged, TV value really does not bother me as was only 900 AED is purely just the principal of being accused of damaging and approach of this company and there suppliers just not interested, don't make same mistake as me please check your items before you sign anything or you are stuck T&C and warranty mean nothing, better still shop elsewhere for a better consumer experience

I had the worst experience with them, they sold me product with wrong informations, once they delivered to me I discovered that all the details provided are wrong and doesn't have any relation with the reality. Don't buy anything online from Sharaf Dg. They are listing items with less price and no stock. If you order the item you are not going to receive it and your order will get canceled after 5 to 7 days. If you contact customer care they will not even bother to check with the supplier, they will give an auto-answer arrogantly that your order is under process.and once it is canceled the refund will take another 7 to 10 days.

An absolute JOKE! I ordered a phone online on the 26th of Nov. I received it as promised on the 30th, however it was the wrong unit (different to what I ordered). They came by to collect it a few days later and then nothing. Radio silence. I call them at least twice a week for 3+ weeks. The same answers are given to me 1) you'll receive a callback in 24hrs (no callback was received over the 4 week period except once, which I missed as they rang on a different number than the one I expressly stated to be contacted on)
2) We are sorry for your inconvenience. I give my complaint ticket number. We'll reach out to the seller and let you know. Nothing.
3) They reach out to the seller and I'm told they've just received stock and should expect this week. This was 2 weeks ago.
It has now been over a month and I gave them an ultimatum, either I get my order or they cancel it. So because of their incompetence, they chose to cancel it rather than attempt to remedy their ridiculous series of mistakes and I now have to wait a "7-10" working days for my refund. I hope I don't have to chase that too. Overall, if I could give them no stars, I would. Their customer service employees were decent on average but it was a horrible experience. Absolutely awful. Incredibly disappointed. I will NEVER shop at sharaf EVER again and I advise anyone who is thinking of doing so NOT TO BUY FROM THEM.

Experience has been appalling. My online order has been delayed by twice the number of days it's meant to be delivered. Amazon US delivered before the estimated time, so why isn't a service that's within the country. This is the very last time I'm ordering online and to strongly show my distaste, in store purchases also wouldn't happen anymore. There are many other reliable options. Great for in store purchases however be prepared if your ordering online that delivery can take much longer than their standard delivery times listed. I had purchased a small item (Iron) and was promised twice a specific date. However this was misleading as I never received despite many phone calls and ending up cancelling my order.

Instead I ended up driving to a competitor and purchasing it in store. From a customer service perspective a more accurate time frame should be given at time of online purchasing.

I would have preferred not to give a start rating here, or even a negative rating! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD.
Order was originally place on 9th May, they require up to 10 days to process the order.still no response after this date. 22nd May we receive a response that the back office will call and the refund the item, within 10 business days. Why was the item advertised on the website if it wasn't in stock? Happy to share screen shots of the false and misleading product display. BTW The date is now 25th June.nothing has happened. SHARAF DG what are you doing? Are you on holidays? I understand that the pandemic has caused a massive disruption to the e-commerce side of the business, however Amazon and Noon have delivered items in record time. AND most importantly they have a responsive customer service team.

I see YOUR TOTALLY GENERIC AUTOMATED RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW here. I HAVE WRITTEN TO SUPPORT@SHARAFDG. COM. NOBODY RESPONDS and your phone number is CONSTANTLY BUSY! The fact that you haven’t reached out to me when it would be very easy to look up my reference number and call me shows me your company just doesn’t care.

I submitted my laptop for repair on May 26th, FIFTEEN DAYS later, on June 11th, they finally called me back, after I had written several emails, used the online chatbot and called their service line to try to find out what is going on. On that 15th day, they told me I had a battery issue, something I already new from the bulging keyboard when I turned it in on May 26th. It took the service department 15 DAYs and NO REPAIR work done to tell me THAT. Now it is June 14th and I still have not heard anything further about the repair. I would give the repair department a minus rating if it were possible. It is also impossible to escalate my complain further up the chain as SHARAFDG only has ONE phone number for everything, and that phone number is constantly busy. Additionally, nobody bothers to respond to the support emails. Today I am going to waste my precious time and to go to the store to try to get some answers and find out what is going on. A customer should never have to do this. I will speak with my money now and never buy anything from SharafDG again. What a completely disappointing experience this has been.

Appalling service item not delivered, told it was shipped then informed the order had been cancelled the day it was due to arrive. Customer service team are inequipped to deal with any online complaints and requests to the online team for a call back seem pointless as they dont follow up. The item was for my sons birthday and he still has nothing and I have no refund yet. Furious doesnt even begin to describe how I feel. Plus the item is still showing as available on this website! Star is too much to give but it doesnt allow 0 stars

Poor service and poor customer service. My order has been delayed and no one is helping or responding to my concern. They let feel as u r begging to receive products u have paid for it.
Very disappointed.
Don't buy online from them even if they will give u free products.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE NO MATTER WHAT OFFER.

Save yourself the trouble and buy from other leading websites even if you may have to pay a little more but do not buy anything online from this chain as you will regret it.

Read their reviews on their other social media pages which states the same.

i order online and the delivery date was written june 23,20.on that date i call the call center a lady answer me telling me on thursday maximum day of delivery and she tell me if u cant wait u cancel your order.huh if i cancel? My money will return next month so they will used my money for 1month before i will get it.until now i did'nt receive anything
they give me a tracking number TES company then i call them they said to me that they did'nt have my item yet
then i call sharaf dg call center again, they told me that maybe i will get on saturday
what a scam maybe on saturday they will tell again maybe next month
so i will never trust or buy again to this scam company!

anyone reading this and has history to this scam company feel free to contact me we will file complain to the court.

Very poor service people should not purchase online items from sharaf dg.they really dont cater to your needs especially their courier service which is TFM company very bad my one month long purchase still not delivered.
Hope people stop buying.

The Most Terrible Online Shopping Experience in Dubai! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE from them. I placed an Order, Waited 2 weeks for Delivery, sent emails, called and complaint several times - but nothing happened. Its almost like they Don't care anything about the Customer.

Worst shopping experience! Worst delivery service! Will never come back again! I paid the product, didn't get any info about delivery date, been waiting for 9 DAYS to see anything happening to my order and only waisted my time, and still waiting! After trying on and on to get any info thrue app or hot line they said that the "item is NO MORE LONGER AVAILABLE", and no explanation!

Poorest customer service, extremely late response, every answer had to squeeze out! No one in my whole act with like that

1 star only because I'm not able to rate you ZERO!

You're doing everything you can to show that you're customers-oriented but your staff members aren't. I have made a complain regarding a telephone customer agent her name was "Rena" for being so rude and not that helpful to solve my three months long issue with an expensive item I bought from you. And instead, her supervisor - his name was "Majed" - just called the next day saying: " I don't think there was anything wrong she's done, let's not accelerate or be sensitive". I think it's just the time to try a different retailer after this.

For your poor service and unprofessional way dealing with loyal customers.

I ordered a product online and it was a gift to mother in my hime country on her birthday

I ordered on 11-5-2019 and i got the message On mobile & on 14-5-2019 i got a message it was shipped

I called and they told and confirmed that before 15-5-2019 it will be delivered

So i booked the flight ️ on 15-5-2019 late night for my friend to go my home country with the surprise gift and till Tuesday 21-5-2019 i did not received the items and they told when i call that product is not physically exists in Mirdif City Centre,

I cancelled the order and went and bought it from Time square branch along with Samsung Galaxy Tab almost 2900AED Paid on spot to save the occasion and also flight which i paid 480 AED To post-pond it!

When i raise a complain aganist Sharaf DG they gave me 100 AED Voucher only to use it again in their store.image2.jpeg

Is it fare for loyal customers, why i should trust you any more.

Enough you make me lost money and missed the flight ️ and on above, you damaged the surprise for mother!

Inspite of that i refused the 100 AED Voucher and now i am requesting for at least the money i spend 480 AED.

The management refused to accept thier mistake and also say that voucher is above what i expect

I will raise it again Sgaraf DG to the consumer right as well as to the concern economic department in country to take the right action and correct the miss up caused by Sharaf DG

This is unprofessional way to deal with loyal customers as welk as it is not accepted at all since it was not my fault at all

All the screenshoots are attached as a proof

Recommended all customers to be careful since i have been screwed because of your poor cystomer service delay in delivery and un estimated faluts from Sharaf DG

I got a call from a person saying that only 100 AED can be given and i refused to accepted.

Think about the customer service, you pushed me to rough by your poor unprofessional service to loyal customers 3 years old
