It is not Japanese restaurant, it is more about homemade meal in Japanese style.
However, service was enough good.

Cute lil place. Good that they have outdoor seating, perfect during winter.

Their cheesecake is okay, just right. Their hot chocolate? Nah. Not a fan. I’ve had better. The staff is friendly though.

We live on Al Barsha. We spent a week looking for a place to eat delicious sushi. And we found this cozy place. How warmly, beautifully, the sweetest girl greets you. The sushi is simply very tasty! We ordered a supplement. Don't look away. Thank you!

Very tasty Rolls! Large portions, the rolls themselves are large, nothing is spared! The girl who serves is very sweet and good-natured! This place has a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, very beautiful and cute!

We order salad, different sushis and beef ramen. All was so good, except the beef in the ramen a bit hard/chewy, but the broth and veggie s and noddles very tasty. In everything big portions and price very good

Visited Simply Oishii and was amazed by the ambience of the place, it had an aesthetic Japanese restaurant that serves the best fluffy cheesecake there is. Would recommend.

My friend asked me to eat here with her and I'm just so amazed with the ambiance of this restaurant and how so authentic the food taste here. I love their cake it's not too sweet but still gives you that yummy vibes. One of the crew James did an excellent job assisting us from the time we arrived and helped us with the menu of the restaurant. It's customer service at it's best. The location is I believe 2 to 3 blocks behind Novotel Al Barsha 1. The area is good location and not that crowded. They also have seats outside which is amazing.

I have no issue with Japanese restaurants held by non Japanese but there are so many things that have changed from the original Japan Concept Café with a Japanese pâtissier.if you are expecting that then it’s a total disappointment.

Sehr leckeres und authentisches japanisches Essen. Sehr große Auswahl. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt (okay, vielleicht ein kleines Asahi).

Food is superb and serving is big. Shout out to James for being so kind and accommodating. Simply Oishi must be very proud and lucky having you in their restaurant. Ten stars for you! We will surely come back! See you!

Probably the best Beef Yakisoba, pepper stake bento and Chicken Katsu Curry Don in town. Super friendly staff as well! I came from Al Ain City just to try these menu and I’m so happy that I enjoyed it.

This restaurant is such an amazing place. The food is really worth it for the price. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend to try the sushi's, if you want to try spicy food they have Bibimbap which is really I love it. The beef ramen is superb very authentic. Very cute Japanese cafe selling a range of cakes, fantastic coffee and hot drinks as well as, lunch and dinner food including creme brulee french toast, ramen and sushi. Service is very friendly and the food was great. All the crockery is really cute and the coffee art was impressive!

Wagyu Sliders
These sliders were perfect with juicy, cooked perfectly, flavorsome wagyu beef and soft kawaii buns.

Ebi Tempura
Prawns fried in tempura batter. Tempura coating was light & crispy and shrimp was fresh plus dip was so perfect combo for this.

Mixed Tempura Ramen
Ofcourse RAMEN wont be missed when eating in Japanese Restaurant ️ Prawn and vegetable tempura with ramen in soup. Authentic Japanese Ramen it was! Freshly made, hearty food, the soup was so flavorful that left me crave for more!

Beef Bibimbap
Classic dish with wagyu beef, kimchi, veggies, fried egg and rice with gochujang sauce. Fantastic flavor loaded with crunchy & luscious vegetables and beef - artfully arranged with egg topping! The stone pot was super hot & lasted the whole meal.

Futomaki (FRIED) Sushi
Shrimp, avocado, asparagus, spring onion. Perfect combination of quality ingredients! Sushi taste was really amazing & extremely tasty. Platter presentation was superb! ️

Desserts
Strawberry Cream Puff
Cream and delicious strawberry mousse and chantilly in a crunchy shell. By the way they’re using Japanese flour so you will taste the real japanese cream puff! It melts in your mouth, blends well with the rich, thick and creamy custard filling.

Iced Purple Potato
Cold purple potato goodness with milk and purple potato ice balls

Cafe Latte
Milk based drink with just a little coffee. Comes included with our hanging biscuit.

All dishes were so heartwarmingly delicious - made by authentic Japanese ingredients. Portion sizes were genereous, prices are affordable given the magican ambiance - very instagrammable. Special mention to Ruth who's very friendly and lovely! Kudos to all staffs ang babait nilang lahat! Will definitely go back to this restaurant!

- these sushis is so tasty and creamy. You can taste the yumminess in chew!

- the shrimps are very juicy and fully coated in mayo!

- I love this cutie! It's crispy and the sweetness is just perfect amount!

-it's so fluffy and yummy!

- it's gooey and very chocolatey!

- this is so refreshing and has the exact amount sweetness!

At Simply Oishii (meaning Simply Delicious) their motto is to serve us Oishii & Kawaii (cute) food and their Omotenashi (Japanese hospitality). They have decorated the restaurant with overt cuteness in everything.

They serve Totoro sugar caddies smiling up at you, elegant Japanese dolls collection a treat for all anime lovers like my daughter, totally loved sakura trailing down from the ceiling, everything at the restaurant is meant to transport you to Japan.

Their Bakery uses only imported Kyoriki ko (Japanese High Protein flour) that makes every slice of baked perfection.

We were dining in here today this afternoon. Its a little place situated very close to the Mashreq metro station and about 10 mins from mall of emirates. The café has about 6 to 8 cute little tables that look very adorable. The food that they serve is also all very cute looking. We tried a tonne of their Japanese food as below:
1. Wagyu beef sliders: the bun was toasty, buttery and glistening. There were little buns of wagyu Joy hidden within these little babies that we really liked.

2. Strawberry mojito: the drink was super refreshing and light, it had a tonne of crushed strawberry which was great.

3. Spicy beef BENTO box: BENTO as the name suggests was a compelte meal. The two salades were refreshing as was the very light and fluffy tamago served with the BENTO. The beef was fair and the sauce was to die for. Really enjoyed it. It also had a miso soup which was great.

4. Mixed ramen: Ramen has always been à personal favourite and this version had the most humongous quantities. They also had the best noodles I have ever tried, very taut and bouncy. Definitely recommended.

5. Japanese cotton cheesecake: fitting end to à lovely meal.

We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to make it back.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is amazing, I recommend to try pancakes and French toasts.

You are really missing out if you haven’t tried Japanese food yet. One of my current favourite places is @simplyoishiiuae

The interiors of this restaurant will blow your mind it is so aesthetic and so cute.
I was so skeptical but they had very good vegetarian options and I had an amazing brunch with my best friends.

Suchhh a lovely place to brunch guys! The service was so good, and they were super sweet!
Loved everything & it was quiet affordable too!

The staffs are nice, they always do their best. Food is so so/good. But if you’re in this neighborhood, this restaurant is a good option for Asian/Japanese food. And it’s good value. Always clean. Happy hours from 9pm-11pm. Get 25% off on selected items. For chicken katsu curry, katsu was deep fried as per the Asian standard. (Not many places in Dubai know how to deep fry food in the proper way.)

Nice atmosphere with a friendly staff. Muneer took really good care and he made me feel very welcome in this place. The japanese cheesecake there is awesome! Definitely will come back soon!

First time trying Japanese food in Dubai and this quaint little cafe with hospitable staff and good food didn’t disappoint.

Our lunch consisted of the bento box with chicken katsu curry, oishii rolls and pan fried gyoza which was definitely my favorite thing on the menu.

The iced cherry blossom drink had a distinctive taste but was refreshing nevertheless. For desserts, the strawberry cream puff didn’t quite meet expectations as it tasted a little dry. However, the cheesecake was a must try-moist, soft and creamy.

Also tried a hand at origami which was a bit of struggle but definitely fun. Overall, a great experience!

I’m a huge fan of Japanese food. This hidden gem is located at the heart of Al Barsha 1 offers authentic Japanese cuisine in a very affordable price. Yes you heard that right! This Japanese restaurant is no doubt a great experience, place with an awesome service and value of money.

Staffs: 3 simple words to describe, Friendly, Hospitable and Professional. They will guide you with there entire menu to choose what suits your taste. They will prepare each menu that are instagram worthy but taste really good.

Ambiance: it might be small for others but for me it is enough to enjoy your food and time to spend with your friends and loved ones. As Japanese also are minimalist people so they simply just followed the culture of Japan with the concept in there restaurant.

THE BEST SUSHI AND MISO SOUP EVER! I had the Oishi roll which was the first time I had ever tried warm sushi and it was truly a feast for the senses. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere charming, and the entire experience positively enchanting. Loved the little origami cranes which were everywhere and the free cloth masks! Thank you very much - I can't wait to return:)

I went to try Japanese Cuisine dinner here and oh my god it was worth it
I had the best time, best food and best service
Bren and James suggested us the best food from their menu
We tried their Iced Matcha and Iced Cherry Blossom it was very delicious and cooling
We went for their best Dynamite Prawns, Chicken Wings and Crab Salad
The taste was authentic and delicious loved the crab salad and the dynamite prawns the best
We also tried their Avacado Sushi, Chicken Ramen and Chicken Bibimbap very good in taste
I loved the Sushi and the Bibimbap absolutely loved the authenticity and taste was really good.
For Desserts we tried the infamous Japanese Cheesecake, strawberry shortcake and the Nutella cake the taste was real good especially the Japanese Cheesecake it was so creamy and tasty and every good ️️

Simply Oishii Dubai serves up authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi in Al Barsha. The decor is also very Japanese.
What sets Simply Oishii apart is the theatrical manner in which the super tasty BENTOS are prepared. We also tried tempura served with a delicious dice and the classic Ramen dish.

To end a delightful meal we ordered the iconic Japanese cheese cake, which was perfectly fluffy and really a must-try. Simply Oishii is proper Japanese with dishes that are prepared simply, but are rich in flavour.

Food is great, service is impecable (J and J). This is a small hole in a wall -ish restau in barsha. Their prices are very affordable compared to others.

A cute Japanese café located in Al Barsha. It has all the activites like origami, reading Japanese manga books over a cup of coffee and also some amazing Japanese action figures on the wall. The place is perfectly decorated with a feeling of cheery blossom on the ceiling. Loved it Loved it! We tried a lot of stuff in vegetarian and loved everything we had:

Avocado & cucumber Sushi – OMG! Amazing with wasabi & sliced ginger.

Kimchi Ramen – chef specially made a veg variety of ramen for us which was commendable. Spicy kimchi, soft noodles & the broth was totally amazing.

Bento Box – My friend had the bento box here since it was from sea food. But it tasted really well.

Yasai Tempura – Not bad. Decent taste but can be avoided since there are better options here.

Yasai Yakisoba – the star of the day! What an amazing mix of spices and vegies. Loved it!

Matcha Tea & Purple Potato Tea – both yum and totally amazing in flavours. Loved having it with the food.

The best part about this place is that the owners have taken care of every intricate detail while designing the café and you would love to spend time or a lovely afternoon with your friends & family here.

I am downgrading this restaurant to ZERO points! My last visit was testimony why people should AVOID this restaurant at all costs! Walked into the restaurant, nobody greeted or come over to show me to the table and give me the menu. Instead, they gave you blank looks, with the waitress busy chit-chating with someone who was probably her boyfriend and the guy at the counter busy just being busy. Good riddance!

This Japanese restaurant has been my go-to since their first opened up!

As I used to work in Barsha 1, Thursday's were my favorite day and not just because it was the weekend, but I got to walk and get my Japanese cheesecake along with a coffee here.

Simply Oishii has come a long way, and I couldn't be happier about it - from just drinks and desserts, to now serving meals, it is a great upgrade.

Potato Meat Croquettes

My first time having this dish, these have a cutlet like shape filled with a mix of potato and meat within, and topped with sauce.
The serving is for 2 people as a starter.
Super crispy on the outside, and soft, flavorsome, and delicious on the inside, it is a great choice for a starter.

Chicken Yakisoba

This dish is a noodle dish topped with chicken bites and vegetables. Not something I would have usually ordered as I am sometimes skeptical, but with the suggestion from the staff, I let them help and was a good choice.
Won't deny, I mistakenly filled myself with this, that it was a struggle to have the rest!

Oishii Fried Roll

A sushi dish topped with fish eggs, and fried to perfection! For those who aren't a big fan of sushi, this crispy sushi will surely win your heart.

Ebi Temaki

Served in a small shot glass, it is a rice sushi wrapped with seaweed and filled with avocado. This was my first time trying it.

Iced Cherry Sakura

What a beautiful drink this was! Made with strawberries and milk, this delicious cold drink is freshly made, and quite a refresher.

They also had the Matcha Sakura, but as I was not a fan of matcha drinks, I let that pass and chose this.

Wonderful service and lovely staff, I totally suggest all to give this place a try!

Love this Japanese cafe / restaurant located in Barsha 1.
Had a capuccino served in a lovely mug with a fluffy Japanese cheesecake.
It was cheap 24 aed only for a good quality.
I also took a fruits creamy cake for 10 aed only as it was 9PM (happy hour for take away to avoid the waste!).

The decoration is beautiful and I love the Japanese style.
Staff was also very great.
You have around 12 seats inside and a few outside.
You can easily park in front of the restaurant.

Will come back for the hot meals!

As this cafe is said to have very delicious sweet which is to the tongue of Japanese, so we tried some sweets here. And it was awesomely good. Next time definitely would like to try some hot meals and also sushi too which we never knew that they had had before we visited them!
