I found another good Korean restaurant in Dubai.
First of all, all the food I ordered was delicious and the quality was better than I expected.
Of course, the staff’s service is much better than expected.

We did not having a booking and wanted to do BBQ. The lady offered us the private room instead which is like a vip experience. Just amazing service and welcoming staff. I specifically want thank Jin, Christian, Madahav.

The sushi and Korean All-U-Can-Eat is good. You are served not sushi but also different kinds steak for grill.

Best Korean food in Dubai. I love the BBQ, I always enjoy the sashimi (so fresh), good soju collection, the service is fantastic (thanks to Alejandro) … generally always a great experience at this restaurant!

I was introduced by a Korean friend. I wanted to eat ginseng chicken soup, but it's not here. Stone-grilled bibimbap is served with miso soup.
The stone-baked pot is authentic. I recommend this restaurant. Please have a delicious experience.

Authentic Korean rsstaurant! If you want to taste some real Korean foods, this is the restaurant you want to try. These are hotel quality foods, not the street restaurant quality. The price was very reasonable, but compared to the quality, I would say very cheap!

Great food, super authentic flavour. Worth the price. Service could improve I think the guy we got was a trainee, so thag was slow and he forgot the major sauce for one of the dishes but regardless taste was phenomenal.

It was my first time eating Korean food and it was really good. I ordered the japchae, kimchi fried rice and jajang myeon and kimchi fried rice. The japchae was the best noodle dish I have ever had and the rest of the dishes were equally good as well.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Amazing atmosphere and super service. Highly recommended and will surely visit again.

And finally after 9 years in DXB, I found my place for KoreanBBQ that I can go back again and again. It’s a bit expensive yes but worth the price. As a non-dessert person, their Chocolate Lava Cake was also the bomb!

Price is 217Dhs/person for food only and 379Dhs/person with unlimited bevvy.

I had great buffet with my friends at this restaurant. It's worth the money i paid. The restaurant is modern and the interior is trendy with Korean features. I will be back again!

Our dinner experience started from warm welcoming and committed Amazing Hospitality from Chef John and Restaurant Manager. The food is beyond delicious, we selected Bento sets, along with some Korean dishes and Kaisen Salad.

This is definitely a place I want to go back again and again.

It is a pure authentic Korean restaurant in Dubai. The food was very tasty and the portions were big and generous. We tried pork with vegetables, mixed grills and bibimbap hot pot beef, the meat is juicy and tender and they were all tasty. The service was good and employees are friendly and attentive.

Expo 2020 branch: amazing service, placid ambiance and friendly service.

It was my first time eating Korean dishes and the aroma of the food was mouth watering. Full of flavours, delicious and hygienic food.

Highly recommend.

Are you a fan of Korean series? Have you drooled while watching the characters eating Kimchi, Jajangmyeon etc. Then u should visit this place and try out their variety menu. Walk thru ur Korean food fantasy at this place. Just loved the experience and the food was yum. The customer service was really heartwarming and we enjoyed the evening so much. Try it out.

Our dining experience was great apart from the good ambiance the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I am highly impressed how they treat their customers  And the food were so scrumptious and well presented.

Unfortunately have to give 3 stars. First thing is that ok, its located inside the hotel but there should be a sign directing you to the restaurant. I was wondering around the lobby until I just asked a guest of the hotel. The reception just didnt mind me walking around there.
The food is just ok.not worth travelling all the way from Marina.
The service was polite and nice though.they made my dinner nice

SONAMU is the luxurioust restaurant in DUBAI. If you have valuable customers to take care of or foreign friends want to eat Korean Food

First Korean restaurant visited in Dubai and it was excellent. We ordered the live BBQ at the table with short ribs and rib-eye meats, seafood pancake and everything tasted amazing, plus all the side dishes you get with the meal. Highly recommend the location. The house was very nice and I was able to enjoy a fresh draft Kirin.

Will definitely return here again.

One of the best restaurants ever, and I love the customer service especially Gar and Kristyan. I honestly never tried this much amazing authentic Korean restaurant. I would definitely come again.

Sonamu is a very authentic Korean restaurant and the official catering partner at the Korean Pavillion for EXPO2020. Thier beef BBQ dishes are out of this world and the service is great. Our server Kevin was a perfect professional and also cooked our meat with great skill. We will definitely be back!

두바이 한식당 중에서 가장 정갈하게 나와서 좋아하는 식당. 조식 뷔페에 소고기뭇국에 나물 반찬이 있어서 뜻밖의 감동 By far my favourite Korean restaurant in Dubai. You can have authentic korean food (stews, stir fry, marinated meat) and also do Korean BBQ. The price is a bit higher than other Korean restaurants but you are paying for the quality here. Highly recommend.

Nice and relaxing place so quite the food is good even little bit expensive but worth it.they are friendly they give you good service espicially, Rena and two waiters i forgot the names.highly recommended this authentic korean bbq.

Took all-you-can-eat grand buffet. Although it said “live grill” it was just a prepared kind a buffet and the food was not hot.
The oyster was not available (the waitress said it’s sold out) when we had a dinner at 7: 30pm.
I doubt they ever existed.
I feel that I wasted money for cold beef galbi and some sushi.
The beverage is included but being served too late, i couldn’t have it when I needed.
I can’t believe this is the restaurant in the hotel and got so much high rates.

Good place to enjoy Korean cousine. 20% discount for guest in thus hotel. I stay Asiana hotel caused by Sonamu. They serve buffet breakfast and I like very much.

It is great place from my first impression, I had only one dinner there, and planning to go there couple of times before giving my final verdict.

Good option if you're staying at the hotel, otherwise better to venture out.

The breakfast buffet is good with vast choices of continental to Asian options.

For lunch and dinner hours, it's best to avoid the meat grills as their grill plates are not cleaned well and burnt flakes gets stuck to the meat.

Avoid the Shrimp tempura, 7 pieces for AED 75!

When it comes to Far East Asian food, Chinese or Japanese is the option which comes to our mind naturally. But Korean cuisine is definitely a superior choice and if you are looking for an authentic Korean barbeque, Sonamu is something you should consider. It will spoil you with choices. Must try would be the Galbi, you will definitely come back for more! Weekends (Thursdays & Fridays) you are in for a treat with a Grand Buffet and it is truly worth the money. The service is a bit slow. Enjoy this delicious trip to Korea!

Good circumstance to enjoy your food and nice staffs, but the taste of plate for foods has been lowered day by day.

I am not sure it is because of the change of the chef, or any other reasons. I clearly feel that the plates are now not the ones I experienced before in Sonamu.

Best Korean bbq ever and I’m your best customer ever! We go every month at least once or twice!
