Exceptional dishes, ambiance, and staff make this my newfound favorite restaurant in Dubai. Special mention to Aghyad and Kristine, Jerry, & Melanie whose outstanding service deserves 5 stars. Undoubtedly, I'll be returning for another delightful experience. Kudos!

Terrible experience.cockroaches running over the cakes on the dessert table.when we pointed it out.staff tried to pacify us by making us pay only for 2 for a family of 3.the lady waitress was not happy that we turned up at 0950 pm even though restaurant was open till 11 pm.food was cold and bland.lady at sushi counter was sweet.rest of the lady waitresses were rude.whatever it is nothing justifies cockroaches running over the dessert table.overall attitude and hygiene of the place should change.

One of the best buffet places in Dubai. Can't miss it. My third visit already. The brunch buffet is amazing. Vast variety of spread. Multiple live counters.there's something for all your taste buds. Mangolian Italian japanese Arabic Indian Grill salads desserts and much more.lobsters king prawns oysters. We had a feast. On weekends it can get a bit crowded and good stuff gets wiped out very fast. Best to go early to enjoy everything. Amazing vibes. Staff is amazing hardworking and friendly. I don't have food pics. Was too busy eating

It wasn't like before but still good. It used to be fine dining kind of set up. There is no cloth napkins at all. They used paper napkin/tissue. Keep the seafood live cooking always, that's the best.

Breakfast was great. So many variety from Asian to Western cuisine. Thanks to Ivie for a friendly and excellent service. We’ll definitely come back with family and friends here in Spice Island.

The service provided by Mr. Ahmed was really good. But we were very disappointed as we asked for b'day celebration of one of our friend and we asked if we reserved it and thus not celebrated.

The seafood as always is great. Special mention to Ahmed a kind, friendly and very attentive staff who always checks us. Kudos to him.

It was a great experience on NYE2023. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming with amazing beverages, variety of food and good service especially with our waitress, Phoo, who helped make great recommendations too.

Nice place for dining in with friends and family. I liked the seafood and Indian food there. Mainly what I liked most was Dal Makhni with Nan.

Ibrahim, the server, is very kind and polite to customers, he is approachable and easy to communicate with.

The food is delicious. It is freshly prepared. A taste of luxury at a reasonable price. Recommended to dine with your friends who loves to explore a variety of cuisines.

Buffet dinner was delightful, staff are very friendly. Bartender Jerry was excellent, he made my husband birthday dinner very memorable. Kudos to the Spice Island Team

Highly recommended super delicious dinner buffet for all kinds of occasions. Shout out to the stafff (Melanie, Angelo and ahmed) thank you soo much for accommodating us. All the guest enjoyed the ambiance The seafood live cooking was the best. The red velvet cake for the win. A wide variety of dessert selection.
Will definitely come back for more occasion to celebrate.

Great experience with a variety of cuisines. Staff was very kind and helpful. Especially Joshua, he was very hospital and was always ready to assist.

Melanie has displayed a superb service and always willing to assist. Since she's a kabayan, we used to approach her whenever we need anything for our breakfast, and accommodates us with a warm smile. Actually, everyone in the resto were really nice, and Melanie for me, stands out.

Best service by me Joshua…. Very nice and kind response for all our needs. 5 stars for Joshua. And also 5 stars for the Spanish music team. Wonderful vibes… over all

The waiters, service, food, hospitality, band, and environment in Spice Island was beyond amazing, really enjoyed it here and definitely reccomend it to other.

Celebrated our dads 78th birthday last Thursday and it was so nice. My dad was very happy. A massive Thank you to Jerry for taking care of us and preparing the birthday cake and band to sing the song. I also want to say thank you to the band. Trully appreciste it. Thank Thank you so much.

I had a very memorable experience at Spice Island, the international food (especially lobster tail, shrimp, and fish all prepared live) along with beverages with dessert bar were first class. Also a shout out to our waiter ALOSH who made sure all my requirements were met. Will return A+

Saturday brunch is worth the money you spent. All varieties of food available. Staffs are also very well behaved. Different options of food and beverages available to choose from. The kids activities area is also very nicely done.
Overall a good experience

Buffet is just ok. Not value for money. Instead Al Dawar and Kitchen 6 are charging the same and have much bigger n better offering.

I’ve been visiting here since year 2000. Today was my first visit after covid. I think this place is really turned rubbish. Not clean, rubbish DJ and me being Filipino I have so many options in town for food, never expected this venue to one of them. I will never recommend anyone who been here before to visit again at this status.

Feel so sad of the standards and quality of the venue. Now it’s gone down to become a Filipino restaurant. Nothing against any nationality but this used to be a Whatson award winning restaurant. Now it has lost its charm. You need live entertainment not some old DJ music.

I had an amazing experience to try the brunch on Friday, the staff were really helpful, smiling all time and always at our service I spend quite long time to give my self the time to experience all the amazing sections from different cuisines (the test made me come back to the same station over and over and I can say it was lots of stations to visit), I also was amazed when I saw that we are being welcomed personally by the Executive Sous chef and Director of Food and Beverage who were always there to welcome each and every guest, I am a sea food and suchi lover and they never stopped on surprising me I can tell you that the quality and quantity being provided is indeed very impressive considering the prices which is very affordable, I left there with a plan to come back with my whole family as I want them to experience the same as well

Visited for my wife's birthday and had a good experience as they have live singing. Easily accessible restaurant with variety of international dishes. Live station at Mexican corner was fantastic their seafood was yum too. Steaks and grilled chicken was upto the mark. Deserts had some good options as well. Separate clean restrooms for both male and female. Under-ground free parking is available. The only turning point was their staff. They really need to be groomed.

I had a terrible experience in this restaurant. They promise over 200 dishes but there was around 20 dishes. The chicken and roast beef was was chalk dry. I couldn’t swallow it. I wouldn’t even feed this to my enemy. The desserts were all very dry. The music was very loud.we complained to tue manager and they were acting as if we were the once in fault. The chocolate pudding was good though

We have been a regular customer of spice island for the past 9 years. However yesterday we found that cleanliness was was poor as our table space was totally dirty with beverages spilled on the floor which made the place sticky dirtying our footwear after which we had to alert the staff. The DJ music at the restaurant was beyond tolerable decibel levels. We started to have a severe headache and hence we repeatedly requested the staff to reduce the volume since the music was so loud that we could not even hear our own conversations. However the staff and the DJ was extremely sensitive and did not reduce the volume stating that people sitting right inside the restaurant at the extreme opposite end corner need to hear music. Seriously!? This is a restaurant, not a pub or disco which should have had loud DJ music. If people seated at the other extreme opposite side end should hear music, then your speaker system should be adjusted accordingly, not that music is played beyond audible levels from the entry of the restaurant. We had asked for table 25 near the window while placing the reservation, to avoid this situation. However we were told that there is a group foe which tables are reserved. Had the table arrangement been horizontally done near the stage, other customers like us could have been well accommodated and not inconvenienced. Also we have observed that the general variety of food is not that great as it used to be. The items on the dinner food menu displayed online was not exactly at the buffet which we alerted your executive chef Mr. Nasser who had been very kind to listen to us. Pls also pay attention to the linen of the chairs which we found was stained at our table. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience yesterday by which we did not really enjoy the food had to leave the restaurant.

I went for dinner on a Thursday at spice island. There were quite a lot of people but it was not too crowded. The food was really good but would have liked a few more varieties. There were a few dishes which were finished and was not replaced. The dessert section was the best. Everything I tried was delicious. The live music was good and the servers were also very friendly. The live stations were a bit crowded and had to wait a few minutes for your turn.

Had fantastic dinner with special services. Amazing Experience and I really enjoyed thank you spice island.

Went for Friday brunch. Huge variety. Indian, Mongolian, Mexican, Arabic and many other cuisine stations with live entertainment.

Ever since I stayed in Crown Plaza Deira, a must go restaurant is the Spice Island.
It has a Great and superb breakfast experience upto 1030 in the morning, So you can wake up late in the morning refreshed.
This place has a Warm and cozy atmosphere with great service people working their hearts to serve to your delight.
My special compliments to Ms. Shiela, resto supervisor for all the assistance and her upmost personal care for each dinning guest.
Keep up all your good work and definitely I will come back and dine again.

Food quality is down, not much food, service was ok, over priced I could get better please for same rate

It's okay; been to better breakfast buffets that mix it up more. After the first couple days it does become repetitive.

I have only been to spice island during Ramadan for their Iftar buffet. So the review is on that only. In general I think their service is great. Their managers are caring and attend to your needs swiftly. However in Ramadan the restaurant is too crowded and tends to be overwhelming. The food variety is ok but I would have hoped for higher end options (Roast beef, tenderloins, etc). I understand it may not be feasible on Ramadan iftar. I also believe it was better the past two years. But I was still satisfied with the food and service.

It's a very good buffet is it offers a wide range variety of food. There are Indian, Arabic, Mongolian and Japanese food. The live station was also a great touch to the buffet. At the time of my visit, the place was quite crowded.

Spice island has kept its concept and food quality the same for years and that is a good thing. Staff are very helpful and get you your orders as quickly as possible. They can be overwhelmed at times when place is full and bottoms up rounds going on. The quality of the food is very good and all varieties to suit different type of diets including seafood, meat stations, live cooking, sushi (rice can be cooked a bit more in my opinion), pasta, Indian, deserts and the drinks depending on type of package you take. Value for money is very good.

Went for Ramadan iftar. Paid 75aed after 50% discount. I eat vegetarian. My friend eat non veg. Lot of varieties but taste not upto the mark. Paneer was not soft as would be expected from such big name. Drinks were more of ice and sugar less of flavor. Naan, aloo chaat, dal fry, sweet mango chutney. Some sweets. Of all these were good.

Today I had the Friday Cinnamon Pirates brunch at this place. Very nice buffet. You can find different cousins like Arabic, Mexican, Indian, Japanese, Italian (you can choose different tip of pasta or risotto), also grill (you can choose what to have and chef will cook for you) and desserts. The food seems fresh and cooked at stations in front of you. Everything what I tried was tasty. And staff are very friendly and polite. I would totally come back

Excellent service and excellent food. The staff are very polite and attentive. They have 3 packages, one with out alcoholic beverages, house beverages or premium beverages and all 3 are value for money. The live counters are just brilliant. Live grill station (awadhi chap -lamb chops is a must try), live fresh fish counter with lobster, kingfish, seabass etc. Mexican section, sushi counter, paella, roast beef, dumplings, salads, fruits, deserts and much mcuh more. Must try and highly recommend.

Huge selection of food items in the buffet, which is value for money. Good selection of wines, beer and alcohol.

It changed a lot after 15 years of going there. The service was not the same and the selection of food are less compared before.

A good place for buffet range of different kind of food from Sushi to Indian to nice range of dessert.
