One of the best and nicest place in JLT to have Indian food, being from a gujarati family, i would recommend everyone to try their daal dhokli, the best in Dubai so far according to me.

Go to breakfast place for me and my family. It opens at 9am but trust me, the variety and quality of food is amazing.
I love the fact that authenticity of each dish is maintained.
Must visit for all food lovers!

Great place for Indian vegetarian food. Good assortment of snacks as well as meal options. Enjoyable outdoor dining by the lake during winter months.

It was the first experience with them and in all, it went well. The starters that we ordered were more than amazing but the main course not that well.over all the food was very very spicy, like literally as per their name. But i liked the serving and the cost of the dishes.

Very bad experience. The staff is very riad especially the guy who was there for lunch time on 3rd October 2020. He doesn't know how to speak to the clients. First he says he will work out something as I am diabetic but later on he charged 3-4 times extra for the food becz he didn't put sugar in the food.

It's a very bad restaurant for food and staff
I would suggest to please go in Rajdhani Stree which is much in taste and service it's right above the restaurant so please go there

Good place for having veg food in JLT area. Test is sometimes less spicy but that can be ignorable
02 October 2020 12:10
Yesterday we ordered food from this place. It was our 1st experience with them. Food was delivered to us after 2 hours! Service was aweful.i never expected this type of service. I will never ever order from this restaurant. Food was super spicy as per its name. Paneer was like rubber. Everything was disappointing.

I am Richa Gupta member of IED group. Today we had an amazing online session with Spicekraft where our sweet hostess Velisha spilled the beans about her secret Indo-Chinese recipes.

Well when I think of Chinese I need spicy Chinese and I think Spicekraft did complete justice to its name. I simply love ️ all the dishes that Velisha taught.

Staff: 5/5 (cheerful and explaining with full enthusiasm)
Food presentation: 5/5
(Authentic ingredients used)
Value for money: 5/5
Chopping technique: 5/5
Wide menu variety
Less oil used

Dishes taught:

1. Schezwan sauce
Well I love the fact that she told us all the secrets ingredients for her famous schezwan sauce. The fact it was simple, can be easily made at home and authenticity was the best part.

2: Singapore Noodles: the best part of this recipe was the ingredients used. With only 3 main ingredients out of which one is salt the noodles looks super delicious and for other two ingredients simply order from Spicekraft.

3. Chili Chickpeas
Our hostess was kind enough to teach us a coming soon recipe. You can see the uploaded image and trust me it looked mouth watering.

4. Dragon Manchurian
This was the most awaited dish of the session. The dish was made in two parts, the roll and the gravy. The rolls itself looked a complete starter. The gravy was like cherry on cake.

Can’t really wait to order from Spicekraft. All I can say is if you crave for indo Chinese (spicy chatpata Chinese) like me order from Spicekraft and it would definitely not dent your pockets.

1. Mumbai Vad Pav: the packing was really done well the pav/bun was better then Mumbai pav/bun very soft.goes well with the potato vada the Vada spices very perfect.

2. Schezwan paneer grilled sandwich: perfectly packed the sandwich spices were perfect to the paneer instead of 3 slices 4 slices would be really good.

3.green chutney and fried chill really well done
One of the best I have tasted so far.
The taste of Aamchi Mumbai

I m a food lover and to my blessing got this wonderful live kitchen cooking experience from spicekraft restaurant. Esp noticed the clean kitchen as well As properly dressed chefs. Thanks to Indianexpatindubai group for arranging the session with Velisha Who shared some of their Indo chinese recipes. Waiting for the launch of the new dish Chickpeas Chilly which will compliment with the Singapore noodles. Without any hesitation they also showed their recipe of Schezwan sauce. A pure Veg Indian restaurant In JLT providing As per Jains too.
I would vouch for everyone to try out and also to order for your event - small or big.
The best is that they also provide live chaat etc counters too.
For sure next time I will share the dine in experience and taste the vegan option.
Homely food with restaurant ka tadka!

Only vegeterian - that's great. Walking distance to DMCC Metro station. Outdoor siting overlooking the lake and sky-high Al Mas towers. Variety of dishes to select from. Street food, North Indian and Chinese. Personal favorite is spinach noodles. Love their tea. Wait time is usually not a concern. Sumptuous Desi breakfast options available. Parathas were okay but puri bhaji

Nice restaurant. A little expensive compared to equivalent Indian vegetarian restaurants in the area.

A small place decently tucked into a line of restaurants panning over the lake view. It has an outdoor seating too where you can enjoy the beautiful weather and the view. With bright lights and wooden flooring it has a nice touch in the décor perspective.

Bite Board

Mango Lassi: A best-seller that is loved by all, but not the right choice for us, since we are not a fan of the combination. We would prefer with fresh juices instead and went along with an orange juice that was refreshing.

Ginger Mojito: A nice twist to the regular flavors that you usually find elsewhere. Its a combination of ginger, mint, lime and ginger ale and needless to say we loved it!

Cheesy Mushroom Bombs: One of our favorite highlight of the evening. These cheesy delicacies were a pure delight to devour! The combination is a match made in heaven. One bite and you have the cheese oozing out, still drooling while thinking about it. We definitely recommend trying it out!

Beetroot Galouti Kebabs: Now we are sure you have not heard of this one before. It was our first time trying it and we surely liked the addition of beetroot. Thankfully, it was not overly sweet which would have been a buzzkill, which is always a worry with the beetroot, but this one here pair it with the mint chutney and you have got a great starter on your hands to relief those hunger pangs.

Paneer Lababdaar: A creamy cashew curry with mouthwatering chunks of paneer that went well with the bread basket. The bread basket includes, different sorts of breads such as butter roti, stuffed kulchas, naans which can easily suffice for two people.

Dal Makhani Tadka: A steamy hot dal tadka which felt a slightly bland as being spice fanatic we expected a little more from this dish. It goes well when paired with butter Naan. Would recommend it to those looking for something mild.

SK Special Biryani: A hearty dish with perfectly cooked vegetables, aromatic rice and overall perfectly seasoned. It’s a typical vegetable biryani that’s comes in a good portion that’s enough for two.

Gulab Jamun: We have had better ones before nothing worth raving about.

Gajar Ka Halwa: We liked how the sweetness was just right but sadly the carrots seemed slightly undercooked which took away the fun from enjoying it completely. Also, we would have preferred it with a scoop of ice-cream to go with.

The servers are warm and friendly.

We were not provided with the menu, so cannot give an idea about the pricing.

We might come back for the mushrooms, and try out other dishes.

Spice Kraft is one of the many Indian dining options in JLT. Having said that, everything here is vegetarian so if that is what you are looking for you can consider this option.

The flavours here are pretty typical and there is nothing memorable that would make me recommend this restaurant to my friends or want to come back here again. They are ok to eat once but that is about it.

The only thing that I found to be not bad were the mushroom cheesy bombs, which as you might have guessed from the name, is mushroom stuffed with cheese. The cheese doesn't overpower the mushroom, while adding a cheesy taste to the mushrooms.

The mango lassy was a bit different than the traditional lassi that you will find at other Indian restaurants, it was thicker and full of ingredients. Also had the oreo milkshake, which is just too sugary.

I have had both vegetarian and non vegetarian manchow soup at various Indian restaurants around Dubai and the one served here doesn't resemble any of that, I can't say if that is good or not because I didn't like it nor hate it.

One thing I enjoyed was the Masala Chai, it had nice flavour and isn't just full of sugar.

The garlic cheesy nan I tried definitely had both ingredients, but the way that it is put together doesn't deliver the qualities of either ingredient.

Also ordered the Dal Double Tadka and it was basically swimming in oil.

The cheesy chilly garlic pasta bare a bit of resemblence to what you would expect. There was cheese and it was actually spicy.  As for the Triple Szechuan Delight rice that I got, there were 3 ingredients alright but it was not exactly delightful.

Delivery was fast.

I had the Gujarati Thali and the freshly squeezed (pressed) pineapple. Total cost was 40AED so excellent value for money. The food came promptly and was good quality and very tasty. It was quiet when I went so I had a table outside by the "lake". Recommended

Excellent starters. It has good Gujarati Thali. If you are in for vegetarian food. Then this is place you should try.
15 November 2017 21:42
Excellent vegetarian restaurant. Try Gujarati food. Good taste. It has got outdoor seating as well. In winter you can seat outside and enjoy the weather with good delicious food. Try it once atleast
