Step By Step Nursery

Among Dubais variety of nurseries Step by step is Our choice for 3rd year in a row) our daughter just loves the activities that her teacher Ms Maya is organizing for kids, every topic is thoughtfully planned and ideas of children are being taken into account and she implemented to a reasonable extent.

My daughter has been attending Step by Step nursery now for past 3 months and absolutely loves it. From the initial viewing to settling in to daily drop offs, I have been impressed by the kindness and support of all the staff. The nursery is clean, welcoming, with great displays and activities for the children. A huge thanks to Miss Stephanie and Miss Duasha for the care that they provide to my daughter. She is excited to go to nursery and the big hugs she gives you on a morning shows it. I highly recommend sending your child here as its a home away from home with dedicated staff to help encourage, enrich and care for your child in a brilliant educational setting.

My personal experience in the 2 terms my son attended:

His teachers and the assistants were all amazing. But that almost about it.

Initially, the first concern we found was the level of cleanliness wasn’t on par with other nurseries that are the same fee. When mentioned, we were promised it would get better but I don’t feel it ever really did. Floors were always dirty, not the normal amount that you’d expect.

There is always a smell of drainage soon as you enter the villa. I assume it’s from the toilets that are directly at the door, but it was a strong smell.

I feel there’s a lack of communication internally amongst staff.

Apparently renovations were done? The villa still feels like it needs more work. Granted I didn’t see it before the renovations, but if I’m comparing to other nurseries (at the same fee), the facilities are a bit old.

Biggest pet peeve, although yes I gave permission for my sons photos to be used for their social media, no one ever informed me that anything was posted when it was. Maybe I’m being picky but it would be nice to know if there’s photos of my child, of which I don’t have, that will be posted for the rest of the world to see. Just as a courtesy, as the parent?

The app used between parents and the school is very glitchy. It was mentioned also but kind of just brushed off.

I have sent my son to other nurseries in the country (Abu Dhabi), for approximately the same amount as this nursery, but with higher standards of all the things I mentioned above. Hence I’m able to make a comparison.

2 stars for the friendly and welcoming staff. All of them were amazing and cared for my son well and yes I was sad to part ways with them, but I do feel the establishment as a whole has work to do and/or should lower their fees.

Our two kids went to Step by Step nursery and I would say that was the best choice we could make. It’s a very special place for little ones to be and grow. The nursery team, absolutely all of them gave our kids so much love, attention, care, so many efforts and just warmth, what little people need so much. Our kids both enjoyed every day spent there and even after finishing the nursery they still remember it and asking to go back.
One place I would definitely recommend and absolutely trust!

Everything about this nursery is beyond wonderful! The staff, the management, the teachers! The way they interact with the kids, the activities they do, their approach is amazing. When you see your child who is attached to you run towards his teacher every single day and look the happiest while arriving to school you know he’s in the right place. ️

Amazing nursery, the teachers and atmosphere is so warm and loving. My daughter learns and does so much each day! I have seen a transformation in her, she gets up everyday excited to go to school. Fantastic nursery and curriculum, 5 stars

It was my daughters' and my first exposure to nurseries and the staff are committed to making this interaction valuable and fruitful. I trust my kids in their hands and they are transparent enough to make you trust them as they keep on updating you about everything relevant to your child. From the Admin to the principle to the staff, they are a family.

Highly recommended. Very professional, safe and healthy environment. I have 7 years experience with this nursery and enrolled three of my kids in there. They have all learnt and improved many skills differently. It’s the only nursery I have dealt with and never regretted my decision.

My baby goes to Tokyo class for little babies. She gets very happy and excited whenever she sees Ms Richelle, her teacher as she's so sweet and caring. Generally we are very happy with the nursery and the loving and well managed environment.

We went to Step by Step (at that time Learning Land) thinking we'll find a good nursery, we found a home-like place, full of warm people, everyone was keen to show us around, welcome and receive our little boy with open arms; we met amazing people, professional staff, knowledgeable teachers, warm and commited assistants, dedicated front office, nurse, supportive team, from the entrance door to the classroom everyone knows the kids names and make them feel welcome and confident to spend the days with their new family. Highly recommended and we hope you get the same warm feeling we got from the first day throughout the three years spent in there, big thank you to the whole team!

Both my sons attend Step by Step nursery. I like the family like cozy environment and richness of the experience for my children. Administration has been really kind and considerate with us and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Step by Step to anyone who wants to send their little bundles of joy!

Great environment, brilliant teachers, teacher assistants and management. My son truly enjoyed his time in StepByStep nursery. He went to nursery with joy every day. Teachers are giving attention to every single child and make sure that their learning is on track.
