Amazing place to grab Sushi in the Dubai Media city area. Their consistency in maintaining the taste across the outlets is amazing!

Without a doubt the pinnacle of sushi dining in Dubai. As a sushi connoisseur, it takes something truly extraordinary to earn 5 stars from me and Sumo Sushi & Bento is exactly that and then some. The portions are huge and the prices provide incredible value for what you are getting.

The samurai roll is my personal favourite, but truth be told you cannot go wrong with virtually any item on their menu. Be it their delicious temakis, seafood tartare, or their wide variety of succulent rolls, you are bound to have a deliciously fun time whether you are dining solo or with friends/family.

These flavourful delicacies are not only incredibly tasty but the generously sized portions mean that Sumo Sushi & Bento simply cannot be beat in value.

Marcelo, Pema and Alex are absolutely delightful and their positive attitude only added to an already amazing sushi experience.

The cherry on top is that their app provides even greater value as you can very quickly rack up points that you can use to redeem free food and drinks.

Sumo and their outstanding staff go above and beyond to make your next sushi meal one that will not be forgotten for a very long time especially since you will be sure to keep coming back again and again.

We've been a frequent customer to the DIC branch and we are always satisfied for both food and service. Marcelo has been very kind and has been providing us a superb customer service.

No gluten free alternatives for soy or wasabi like other establishments. Sushi rice is very dry. Salmon was dry and smelt not fresh and fishy fresh fish doesn’t smell fishy! (I overheard another customer complain of the same)

Dining experience in this open area is very good unlike other SUMO branches.

The food quality also was excellent, but the delivery took a bit longer than other branches I visit usually.

My goodness! Service was absolutely horrible. My son and I came on a not so busy night and the servers came to tell us to scan the QR code for the menu and didn't check on us for an entire 30 minutes maybe more.

A family came in and sat after us and were catered to several times. They may have sat for 5 minutes and had ordered and received their food before we even ordered. I would hate to say it was due to color and race but it seemed the servers were especially drawn to the paler skinned customers and this is Dubai. Unacceptable.

Normally i would leave but it was an incredibly long hot day and my son and i were beyond hungry. UNBELIEVEABLE! Not very humble waiters or waitresses.

It’s my second stay in Dubai for business.
And during first stay me and my friends came here almost each day because it was tasty and close to my hotel.
But now I stay 20 minutes by walk from this place and after I tried Japanese cuisine in different places I understood that this one is the best. Big portions, high quality products. Super tasty.

Contacted the call center, they said the branch will contact me for update, no update yet.

I do not recommend their app and their online orders.

And when the driver is here, I will return the order.

Horrible service at Town Center. One hour waiting, staff completely lost, brought the wrong order after one hour of waiting and food was HORRIBLE! Felt like 1kg of salt in the mushrooms. Don’t recommend!

Super quick service and food since I was the only one in the restaurant at the time.

California rolls were delicious, miso soup was good, Edamame was a let down (wasn’t very warm and barely any salt.the salt added was just table salt whereas I was hoping rock salt or something better).

Anyway I would still come back to this place, the waiter was friendly and the food portions were good.

Place is relatively small, door was ok, can’t say that it was super but it was acceptable for the price! The service was good and the staff were friendly! As I said the place is small so it was really cold in there, I guess the air conditioning was set to maximum! My friend was with me and he tried the food in this place before and he said it used to be better!

Most horrible thing of the rastaurant was the manager.

The manager of the branch was really really really rude!
He has no idea about his job and never educated how to treat customer at all.

I suggest this place to whoever wants to experience the worst service in Dubai.

If you don't, I strongly suggest you to visit any other branches.

I will never ever visit the branch again in my life time!

A lovely compact Sushi Restaurant nice place to enjoy a quiet dinner with friends, new date, family or simply alone. Sushi really delicious.

The food is excellent! The crews are very helpful with taking orders and suggesting good food. Especial mention to Dinesh. I love their yakisoba. So flavorful.

Good range of specialty maki rolls and platters. Reasonably priced, portions are big enough to be full, we were 2 and shared 5 items.

Ongoing construction was a bit distracting in the restaurant's outdoor seating. Service wsd was kind, but a little slow. Sushi was good, but I would like a few more options that didn't include fried/tempura options.

Ordered through Talabat and the order is 1 hour late. Pom checking I have been told that the order was placed 5 minutes ago abs it needs 30 min more. Really a disgrace!

I love Japanese food and Sumo Sushi exquisitely serves unique varieties of delectable sushi and the freshest sashimi, that's why my all time favorite for delivery is Salmon Lovers Supreme Bento. When my friend and I visited DMC branch for the first time during pandemic, we ordered salmon & chicken teriyaki bentos and definitely enjoyed every bite and ended up taking away some sushi and bento. It was also my first time to use this amazing Sumo app and so happy that every order earns Kenji coins with the assistance of the friendly staff. Thank you Sumo, keep serving great Japanese food!

It is a well known location, exists quiet long ago and a favorite corner for my workplace colleagues. I can't remember their quality then, but now the quality of all slices, taste, and caviar coatings on rolls gave the dishes different experiences, crunchy chewy and soft. Good presentation.oved their food. Chef's Special Tray/Platter is quiet good enough for 2 to 3 adults and 2 kids. Loved their Kimchi compliments, I had love for the spicy flavor of Korean Kimchi's, and they served Japanese version, Iam kinda not that food specific or that food aware to find difference.

As kids are not regular to Shushi/Bento, I prepared to get them try all their varieties, though it is way more in quantity for us.

Don't forget to get their application to get some Kenji coins? I had done mine with ID 28634727!

I love everything about this Sumo branch. Good food, good service and its extremely close to where I work. Ive eaten here on three consecutive days and Im only even more satisfied after each of it.

I have been here in media city but I never now about this restaurant until I bought the entertainer application on mobile.now we will visit them every week.inwish they insert a flier in every office in media city, internet city and knowledge village so every bidy can know about it. Good food for reasonable price. Public Parking is close to the restaurant but be aware of only last row (the furthest row from the building) is available for public (see photo in red) Other parking slot is reserved and you will be fined if parking in a wrong place. Then buy a ticket and place on dashboard for parking there. Prepare coins for tickets. 2AED per hour.

Nice setup with indoors and outdoors on a little garden. Tried their July special but was not impressed by the starter. They only have a variety platter for 2 or more persons but the waiter was nice enough to find me something similar. Drinks were very nice and sushi very fresh. Prices are ok for a sushi meal. Very nice staff. Will go back for more

Good vegetarian Sushi's option! It's hard to find vegetarian food in Dubai especially japanese! Go to place!

What a joke and disappointment this place was! Even a 1-star is being generous! Their “suji” bowl was tiny, unlike the picture. Tiny little salmon and even tinier shrimps. The pineapple pieces had so much citrus, the kale and the quinoa was drenched with pineapple juice so the whole dish was far far too acidic that it might as well be pineapple soup! On top of that, they suggested I download their new app, which would entitle me to their free eight piece crazy entrée rolls. Unfortunately their app was not a working app. The app would not move past the sign up past the birth date, no matter what numbers you put. The manager said “you need to put slash instead of hyphen between the date and month and year” which was the most ridiculous assumption to make by the IT people at the end of the line since the option was a Drop-Down menu. So I don’t know what these guys are smoking, maybe it’s the overacidic protein bowl that had more citrus than the oranges in all of Florida! So the entire time of the hour that I was there, they come to my table many times to recheck their app on my phone, take my phone away to show their IT people on the phone, to show their managers and blamed it on Apple for the app to not be working because the App wouldn’t move past the birth date. At no time did the manager or the wait staff take responsibility for the poor service by offering a free entree or juice to download the app, at no time did they apologize for the wait, at no time did they say there was something wrong with the app.rather they said the problem was with Apple instead? ! Way to go about passing the buck. No discounts. What a waste, please go to Miyabi sushi around the corner or go to the many other Poke bowl places In Dubai for a sizeable amount of healthy bowls with better dressing and more value for money.
