The staff were very accommodating and even with the big queues despite the shops small size they made sure we were well looked after and our is served on time. Way to satisfy a very hungry belly!

We always order from them for delivery via careem or talabat and I am totally obsessed with their Samurai Poke bowl. I wish they can make it with quinoa rather than rice though with rice is still delicious. I also love their bentos and edamame with garlic is my favorite. I’m just a little disappointed with the taste of their chicken katsu curry coz I expect it to be more like in Japan so after I ordered once I didn’t order it again. Anyway that doesn’t stop me from giving them 5 stars coz every time I order their food it makes me happy.

I really enjoy their sushi. Properly and freshly prepared and so full of flavor. I was so impressed I went back a 2nd time just after 2 days. I also ordered a shrimp and chicken rice meal.although they missed the mark on the "over-easy" request for the accompanying fried egg, the deep fried chicken was really tasty and cooked to perfection. I was so full after that I left the shrimp and fried rice for later. This place is a must.stop in or order to go!

Ordered a ramen from here for lunch. Look at the color of the soup: it looks and tastes like it's a bowl of soya sauce. So salty. The chicken portion size was definitely for newborn babies. Before I ordered sushi from this place and it was OK. If you don't have competence in cooking other dishes, then don't do it to avoid disappointing customers.

Ordered Grilled Salmon and Sapporo Shoyu Ramen. Very disappointing. Salmon is fried, the brown rice doesn't smell nice. The chicken in the Sapporo Ramen is so over cooked so hard to chew.

Tonight, we ordered again via Deliveroo, as we normally do at least once / week from Sumo. The location selected was JLT (by the app, not by us).

These days, for every order of above AED 65 (our order was AED 160 I think), you get a free California roll (at least on the Deliveroo app). My wife didn't select the free item on the app but as this is in their offer, it should have been in the bag anyway right? Wrong.

We phoned them and the call center of Sumo said the JLT Branch will give us a call soon. Indeed they called and said "if you didn't claim the free item, we didn't give it to you. "

Thanks for the fair offering Sumo. Keep up the "good and fair" service.

I ordered bento for delivery and it is like mini size. It is not worth the money. I went to dine in but the serving is perfect. So better not go for delivery it is worst serving size.
