Swades Vegetarian Restaurant

Fantastic place to enjoy only Indian Chaat items.
Dahi Bhalla was perfectly balanced with tamarind and green chutney along with beetroot.
I ordered Punjabi Thali but Dal Makhni and Paneer dish were not upto the mark,didn’t like it at all.
Rajma Combo was also average as the rajma was hard to chew and digest.
Fresh lime soda and Fresh milk karak tea were average in taste.

I ordered Rajma for lunch to my office, after 40 mins when it arrived it was not rajma, when I raised this concern to Swades, their team told me to wait for another 20mins and will replace it. They made a mistake and without even apologising they said don’t eat that we will replace that.

Was looking for a affordable veg restaurant in Karama and found this place. Service was a bit delayed. But the food was worth the wait. The panner was soft and almost melted in my mouth.

My husband I ordered here several times during our stay in Dubai because the food was DELICIOUS. The best Indian food both of us ever had. Summed up, we probably ordered most of what's on the menu and can recommend everything

One of the vegitarian restaurants with good and tasty food. Had north indian thali here super authentic tasty food with unlimited quantity. All type of north indian foods and bakery items are available here.

This has been one of the best Indian food I've ever had! Super authentic, lots of delicious options, and very affordable. We've ordered food here several times with Careem and we were each time completely satisfied with out food. The thali, the Naan, the Pav, the Manchurian, all were super tasty! Highly recommended

It's not easy finding authentic Indian vegetarian restaurants in Dubai. In between the hunt for one I found swades vegetarian restaurant.

I was really impressed by the whole set up of the restaurant, right from the outside. I liked the way they have maintained the place.even with Tulsi plants.

The ambience inside also was pleasing to me, but all that went down as soon as the staff approached me. It's like they lack enthusiasm to serve me. He looked all serious, blank face expression and a doubt if he should approach me or not.

Then comes the food I ordered, poorj and sabji combo. The food was decent for the price. There is always space to improve but no complaints there.

Back to the staff, It was surprising that the cleaning boy had a positive vibe and interacted with me with a smile whereas the rest of the staff where avoiding eye contact and just blank.

I would love to come back again to such restaurants but definitely not with this vibe. Their attitude flushed away the whole impressive ambience and the food experience for me.

Excellent Gujarati food - tastes just as if it was home made! The chaat is also really good here. Would highly recommend

One of the worst restaurant in karama, workers are so arrogant and they are not taking care about the business.

One of the great places to have the quick Indian meals (chaats) as well traditional dishes.also know for their Pav Buns and sweets.will definitely recommend to try the food as it is totally worth the money.

Had a masala dosa 2 days back and it was pretty below average. The chutney gave with it felt like a sour taste as it was made few days back and when asked about this to the restaurant waiter. Received a very poor response.

Decent Gujaraati or North Indian food at affordable price.once can enjoy the thali and also ala carte menu. Other snacks to munchies.

Good food at cheap prices. They make their own in-house bread roll that is soft, fresh and cheap. Staff are courteous and good place for Indian snacks. All round good food. Usually order in. Samosa and Vada pao is really nice.

Most of it is Gujrati veg food, some items are fabulous but some things aren't recommended at all especially the unlimited thaali.

Great veg food! Have their own bakery, vada pav, thali and other Gujarati snacks makes one feel like sitting in India!

Jalebi fafda was tea and idli were good. But Koki paratha was not upto the mark. Was tasting bitter.

All Indian swadesi items, specially Gujarati items, very clean, also has a bakery items, and khandvi, sev khambi, dhokla, phaphada, thepala, nan khatai, cheese ball, inside and outside both we can seat, very reasonable price

Good Gujrati food, Puri Bhaji my Dad s favourite. But chat was not palatable for me.may be coz I love more Bombay chat.

Swades Restaurant is one of the oldest pure Vegetarian Indian Restaurant. We love the taste and they have wide range of Gujarati Thali as well the best bakery with chaat items. I would definitely recommend to give it a try.

Awesome food for vegetarians.its like Oasis in desert for vegetarians in Dubai atleast for me as I had best meal of my trip here and did not miss the Indian taste despite being far from India.

They serve a decent Gujarati thali. But over the years quality of food and level of hospitality has been declining. But the price of thali has been on the rise.

Food is amazing.except that their "raj-kachori" is fake.they literally use kachori (stuffed) and make rajkachori out of it.

I love Vegetarian Restaurants however the Masala Dosa that was served at 4pm had a cold Potato Masala from the fridge and the Sambhar was cold. No value for money and no quality check.

Doesn't Deserve any star, They have promotion of Biryani AED 10/- and once you received it just a small bowl of biryani. Disaster Loot

Very bad service. Whatever we order, staff start with "time lagega". And seems staff doesn't want to work as they are always standing idle n do not attend customer even after calling them several times.

Bought up in Maharashtra so love pav (Indian Bun) I never got the same taste any were outside Maharashtra, except swades.

If you are craving North Indian Thali or snacks. This is the place I suggest you to go. Very clean food. Ambience is not great. Very friendly staff along with ample car parking.

Another simple, tasty, affordable Indian cuisine in Karama. I was craving for Bhindi Masala along with garlic naan and I got it. Just delicious and fullfilling the expectations to the maximum. This time I tried the spicy version and it was not a wrong decision.
If you want to have a nicely prepared traditional Indian dish I can definitely recommend Swades.

A very authentic Indian environment with friendly and smiling attitude of my attender mr Liton.the food quality was amazing for the Punjabi thali we ordered. Chaat was averagely good, in total enjoyed a lot. Would recommend it as a place for pure Indian menu.
