Swades Vegetarian Restaurant- Academic City

They packed up poha from morning and sent it in the evening, in this weather, it’s so spoilt that it is stinking my house

I have order Saag with Makki the roti but in the packet instead of Makki the roti I got wheat roti. Even the taste was not much tasty. It was not expected you paid 30 AED for to get just normal simple roti. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Food is very delicious.atmosphere feel like home.service is mind blowing. Special thanks to Kamal joshi. Always taking care of guest. Always smiling Face he has while he welcoming to guest.good job buddy.

I rarely five 5/5. But the service, overall food taste and place are great. The price is friendly. Actually we went for two (2) as I write this review.

The only down side of this place is the location, it is far from the main-road and metro station, but It is worth-it to visit.

Food is great but the servers are very careless they are not hospitable and sitting on the table beside you and least bothered about the customers.

The food good is good here and attract people but unprofessional staff helps the people to stay away from tasting it. I used to be a regular here, mostly for take aways. They have made mistakes in past with my orders but i never complained. Today was the worst and unexpected. I would never order from this place. My suggestion for you all is do not go for more then 2-3 times, they get overfriendly.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday evening with my family who are in visit her, we are ordered dosa and idly, only salt was there in dosa, idly, chutney and sambar, all the north indian dish (which we ordered) were good with right proportion of salt. IF You can't sever a proper south Indian food then why to keep in your menu, my mother is a hypertensive patient what happened was not right. With hope i took them to this restaurant all in vain, even Anam Dhanam which we provide back home will be a treat to needy, but here we are paying to only affect our health

They serve good north indian vegetarian dishes but the table areas and washroom areas need to be kept clean. If those place are not clean, then i am worried about the kitchen area.

Ordered a pav bhaji… quantity was less which is ok but frankly speaking, it had no taste at all plus after v finished eating my fingers were fully orange in colour, that shows the amount of food colour they use.the prices are cheap and so is the food. I wouldn’t go here again neither do v recommend this place in discovery gardens

Food is good but the staff is not good at service.they are dull and slow.with feeling like they don't care about customer.it is need of customer to come and eat.even if we don't give proper service still they will come.we are a big brad.

Great place to taste North Indian and chaat combos. The prices are reasonable/cheap compared to other restaurants nearby.

Ragda pattice is a must try.

Taste is too superb full authentic Gujarati+Indian food. And schezwan noodles are too delicious

This resturant provide delicious food and i like the services and is there maintain proper hygiene. I like the service provided by Mr Abhishek, in this restuarant his behaviour is good and polite nature. ️

Awesome food and lovely ambience and service, I felt in the afternoon service is a little delayed else the service is quite good here.

Some great Gujarati food. Nice service and people are great (Dev & Rahul). They tolerated our little extra enthusiastic kids on a long weekend.

The Food was amazing.
They have a variety of Thalis to try.
And for all the Gujrati food lovers they have a good Gujrati delicacies to try.

Worst delivery service with poor quality food. Never communicate with dhirendra at the counter. He won't give any customer service. Only excuses.

Best taste, service and value for money. I like their north Indian Thali.there is one guy from Nepal who is very attentive and gives the best service.surely recommended and i often visit this place with my friends.

Pathetic dhokla and worst service, try to avoid this restaurant. I never give reviews but giving it due to worst gujrati dishes I ever have. Dhokla is so hard that it has crust and when complaint they given something else but charged for that. Very unprofessional service. It better to cook dhokla at home then eating here.

Your vegetarian food haven in Discovery Gardens Dubai. JLT Marina are very near which is where i live.

The guy who welcomed us was really polite and nice. Offered us free Fafda and Jalebi too.

Brilliant Dabelli and Pani Puri. They hve variety of foods to taste from. I also tasted their Ragda Pattice.

Ordered bhel puri and ragda samosa, both were horrible. No sweet no spice, it was just bhel and toppings

Don't visit the place to eat as they serve to flies too and the waiters don't even care for u at all. With fame comes ignorance and attitude is seen and felt.

Me and my friends visited first time here, but we have faced worst experience, foods are good but service is very bad. I never seen a hotel that doesn’t keep hot water facility and after 30 minutes they bring 1 glass of water for three person. We ordered food but we received after 30 minutes.
Please next time improve your service otherwise you will loose customers.

The restaurant was smelly, looks shabby, there were flies dining. The waiters were least bothered to greet, take orders or follow-up. Over all a very bad experience. NOT VISITING AGAIN.thanks

I have Ordered veg kolhapuri. Very poor preparation it was with few green peas with capsicum cuts mixed with gravy. Will never order again

Apart from their delicious mouth watering food, their customer service is pure brilliant. I'd like to express my gratitude to Dev who was such welcoming in serving us extremely well. I'd definitely visit again and again! Hats off.

Ordered Via Zomato. Perfect. "Swadhist Bhojan" from Swades Vegetarian restaurant. That was the best Palak Paneer and Methi (Fenugreek) Paratha which I had in the recent times. Also been to the restaurant in Discovery Gardens and the place was tidy, + good service too. There is a live Chat counter and they are also selling Indian Sweets and Savoury. Undoubtedly, Swades is one of the decent Indian (Budget) restaurants in Discovery Gardens.

Pathetic service from the waiters. Don’t visit after 10 PM. You will have to be ready with the answer, “11 PM kitchen closes”

waiters try to get everything from the cleaners there, like packing the extra food. With those cleaning hands he tried to take it for parcel without even cleaning his hands.

Never seen such a rude behavior of waiters in Dubai.

The chole gravy was watery without any taste.dis not like the paneer as well in Thali. Only and only Bajra roti, jowar roti is really good there.rest everyte they have disappointed me

Food was good but service is very slow, waiters are not even interested to attend the guests until called. Washroom and place near the entrance was dirty and smelly.

Its a cheaper vegetarian eatery, prices are competitive and food is tasty compare to this kind of restaurants. Many options are available. Bakery products are good. Indian bread (pau) is really good. But overall don't know the quality of the food, especially the quality of oil and ghee they use.

Best things first-Price is less compared to similar nearby restaurants. Its clean and hygienic may be because of covid 19 standard protocols.
Quality of service is below par, the waiters need to be trained well, there is significant delay in delivery and worst thing is they serve ready items first when i went with group of 6 two of them had finished the dinner by the time food arrived for rest.
I tried only masala dosa, chole bhatura and puri bhaji, taste was okay
