1. The place has free valet parking.
2. The vibes and atmosphere is really amazing.
3. The seating area is HUGE. You can either choose to sit near to the live band or you can sit far away from it.
4. Prior reservation is highly recommended.
5. There are a few good Instagram friendly corners in the restaurant. But trying to get a picture on the swing with Burj in the background can be a real chore. It's right next to the door leading to al fresco dining area and you can only take a good shot by standing next to the door which opens outside. The staff and guests keep coming and going through the door.
6. The band was good but did not like the female singer's voice.
7. The music is L O U D. Sitting there my daughter got a headache and had to walk away from the area. My ears were numb all through the drive back home. You will have difficulty in talking to each other on the table. But despite all the reviews on this, they will not lower the volume for sure.
8. There were some good dance performances too.
9. If you have come here to celebrate anniversary or birthday, let them know and share a good picture in landscape orientation. They will display it on the big screen with your name and you can cut the cake while it's displayed. You can request your choice of song too. You can either bring your own cake or buy it from there
10. The food was very average and did not taste awesome at all. Except for banjara chicken tikka, all other dishes were very ordinary. We chiefly ordered veg food, so our assumption is that vegetarian is not their forte. You get a plate of salad (cucumber, carrot and onion) free.

First of all, there's nothing special over there. When we called them to make a table reservation from 6: 30 pm to 8: 30 pm, they said it's fully booked. After going there at 6: 30 pm on Friday, hardly we found three to four tables were occupied. They have staff more than the tables in the restaurant but super slow service.

Secondly, the staff who were wearing black color uniform were acting like shareholders of the restaurant and doing nothing just walking around staring at the guests. We have to ask them to smile. Food was ok. Thanks to the Chef and his team.

The most funny part was after opening the restaurant in the evening, they have staff meeting in the middle of restaurant where most of the staff had to gather and stand as per the instructions of the supervisor or manager. What an unprofessional atmosphere. Don't they have any other space to have a meeting? Do they have to do that in front of the guests?

I felt they haven't been trained properly and customer service and standard of the restaurant and bar was very poor. Considering the location and the food, I recommend their management to train their staff for better and faster service in future.

An Indian fine dining restaurant, nice ambience, good food and hospitable staff. We visited for lunch over the Diwali weekend. The ambience was nice and artiatically done, the North Indian a la carte food was tasty and adequate portioned, staff service was very good particularly Soyed who was efficient and attentive. Overall, a good experience and well recommended.

Great ambience and good Indian food, plenty of vegetarian option. Paisa vasool, value for money in terms of ambience, service and food.
But they don't offer any discounts on cards or corporates dine out except zomato pro.
Also their service charge is way higher than the price of a dish bought.
Beautiful place to spend time with family and friends while clicking pictures of BurjKhalifa and amazing ambience.
We went during the day. I am sure the evening lighting adds up to the glam of this place.highly recommended for Indian and international visitors to dine out here

We went to Tanatan to celebrate our friends birthday and Amit and the team looked after us amazingly and ensured we had the perfect experience. We were able to post our friend’s picture on the huge screen and the live band sang birthday to him. The food was great, especially the starters and service was impeccable. The venue is really smart and great outdoors area also. We went on Thursday which had a Bollywood theme with live band playing after 21: 30. Once again thank you to Amit and team for your superb service. Highly recommend and will be coming again for sure

I visited Tanatan restaurant in Business Bay Dubai with my family and we had a great time. The restaurant has a nice location and a cozy ambiance. The food was delicious and they have a variety of veg options to choose from. We especially enjoyed the chats and the desserts. The staff was friendly and cooperative, and they attended to our needs promptly.

The only downside was that there was some mismanagement when we arrived in allocation of seat. We had to wait for a while before we got our table. Also, the music was inconsistent. Sometimes they had live music and sometimes they played Bollywood songs on tap. I would have preferred a more uniform and soothing music selection.

Overall, I would recommend Tanatan restaurant to anyone who is looking for a balance of taste, service and atmosphere. It is a good place to enjoy Indian cuisine with a creative twist.

Staff and service was great! The ambience, very nice.music and live band just made it even better. I found it to be a little expensive as compared to the taste of food (some items) but i get that it's at prime location and hey, you get a lot of great pictures too. It's a whole package and surely a must visit!

Order the appam and mangalore fish curry for a memorable experience
Their bhuna chaas is pretty nice, too

Chill place with a good view of Burj Khalifa (although some construction site right in front). Outdoor seating is quite and cozy but the tables for two have huge tables in between which makes it difficult to have a conversation without speaking loudly enough for neighboring tables to hear as well. And the tables leave no space for leg room.

Hara Bhara Kebab was pretty delicious but the Khao Suey Samosa was not at all what was expected. Would recommend to skip it.

The best was the whiskey cocktail with orange bitters. Just the right hint of flavor and quite smooth. Must try!

I don't have the words to express how delighted I was with the way my Birthday was celebrated at the restaurant. They all went out of their way to make it an absolutely unforgettable experience for me. Beginning with Mr Amit Tiwari, who booked the day and event for us. He planned everything meticulously.
The food was super delicious, the starters, the main course and the dessert, everything was fantastic.more than everything, the service was really really good. The DJ that you have, Abhishek, was the best I have seen at a night club. I usually find all Bollywood DJs just play only Punjabi music, which though good, I really prefer a great mix of music and your DJ got that just right. A superb blend of different types of music and as I told Mr Tiwari, he had the pulse of the crowd. I liked it even better than the live music played
initially. Infact, my guests and I danced for almost 6 hours straight! I don't have the names of the servers unfortunately, but the servers, the cocktails, the mocktails, everything was on point. Better than perfect. More than anything, I later got the contact details of the Camera person as well as the DJ through him because I wanted to tip them separately, but both refused and said, it was a pleasure and they would be happy if we visited again.
We definitely will! We would like to also wholeheartedly thank all your staff for making my landmark birthday a landmark event. All my guests couldn't stop raving about it either.

Hi, I have visited the place thrice, but this time the staff was not at all helpful. May be it was due to the rush. I asked them to change a dish which I did not like but they completely denied.for a place like this, 1 dish was not a big thing if you compare with hospitality. On the other hand the service was very very slow, we got cold food. I will never recommend this to any one now. Specially I would like to highlight about Shabana, as was busy only taking care of 1 table and completely ignored others.please try to be polite with customers.

I haven’t experienced a restaurant mismanagement like this before. Had called them up for reservation for which they had to come back but never did. When I followed up 2 hours prior to my scheduled time, they informed that they were sold out. How unprofessional and insensitive to customers do you have to be to do that. Not a recommended place.

Tanatan is serving amazing Indian cuisine. Food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Had an amazing dinner experience overlooking the Burj Khalifa! Highly recommended.

Nice place / good hospitality by staff / good food nice live band (SONU BENZ) was good / good vibes / good location a little expensive on food an alcohol- if they manage that well they will have some more regular guest.

I would love to go every week - but the alcohol (bottle or Peg) is expensive….

Amazing place to hang out.with live music and DJ. Food is awesome too with a beautiful view of Burj Khalifa to add to the beauty. Special shout out to Shabana from the crew she made extra effort to help celebrate my friends birthday instantly. Thanks to Shabana for going extra mile and making the celebration amazing time. All the crew members are cheerful and gives you a great service. I would definitely revisit soon.

Delicious and authentic Indian food. Portions were generous. Service was polite and prompt. Some of the dishes like dal makhani and butter chicken was better than what you sometimes get in India!

Very nice ambience.amazing interiors and foood is simply outstanding! We ordered 6-7 items including thai green curry, spinach paapri chat, vodca golgappe and 3 items in main course also, everything was super delicious.not to forget the live music band performance! In all singers, Sonu was just amazing! Must go to place
