- lovely atmosphere, however the pictures make it look super secluded and well isolated from its surroundings but in fact it is just in front of the parking lot which does not specifically ruin the experience but you would not feel transformed from an urban into a secluded courtyard setting
- indoor is amazing as well, and probably provides a more enjoyable experience
- the food was expensive
- taste and quality were very good, but not otherworldly, i couldnt feel the twist that justifies the price, however the atmosphere and the setting would forgive the extra youd pay
- staff were lovely, the reception was very lovely too
- we had dinner next time we would love to try it for breakfast
- overall a must-try

Everything was so good place and food was amazing speacilly best thanks to welcoming team Kübra and from floor team Shalin. They are so kind and friendly but only things that ı was not happy with ac degrees it was so cold inside ı felt like freezing thats why I even did not finish my dessert ı hope next time ı stay more and ı can able to enjoy my time. This spot is super underrated. Amazing food and always consistent. Service and atmosphere are great too!

Service and the atmosphere is perfect, food was horrible it cost as 250AED breakfast for 2 people which not worth the price.

The atmosphere is very calm, and the service is good, food is really delicious, sea-bass ceviches, burette cheese, snails, quinoa salad, orzo, geniche, tramissu are recommended

The food was well done and well cooked. Possibly, the aribbiata pasta was amazing with a side of grilled chicken. The ceaser salad was also nice. All of the food I ordered was a chef’s kiss.

I called the restaurant on Monday 9th Jan 2023 and booked for dinner at 7: 30 pm. As soon as I arrived to the restaurant, I asked to see the menu since my friend and I were extremely hungry and wanted to eat delicious food as expected.

After we placed our order, the appetizers came in a decent amount of time and did not take long. Then after 30 minutes, we asked the staff about the main course and they replied "you just ordered appetizers right? ". We were shocked and asked the staff to check their notes if they punched in our full order in their system and it turned out that we did order the main courses as well.

It was taking a long time and the main course took forever to come and we ended up waiting for around 45 minutes to get what we ordered. We got concerned and asked the staff about the food and mentioned that we ordered Arabiatta pasta and grilled prawns which normally do not require so much time to get prepared. They replied that they needed extra 4 to 5 minutes but it took them another 10 minutes to get the food.

My friend started eating the pasta and confirmed that it was semi cooked since it was hard and chewy. As a result, we started getting frustrated and did not feel like eating anymore. The staff also felt that they did a mistake and did not even ask us if we liked the food.

At the end, they offered complimentary dessert cake but since we are angry of how the service was bad, we did not even try the dessert.

Not impressed and not recommended

Food was wonderful, definitely didn’t expect that. Staff were gracious as well. Watch out if you’re picky with your shoes.

Nice ambience and good food overall, but nothing particularly unique. Main dishes come without a side, that you have to buy separately. The menu proposed is quite basic, however the ingredients are very fresh. Considering the value for money, I find it too pricey vs what it offers, hence my vote.

We came and asked for a an outdoor table for two. We were given a table that was on the side were people and servers walking by, it was uncomfortable, it was as if we are sitting on the street. Therefore, we asked for a table at the corner that was empty. The waitress mentioned that the table was occupied by a “ lady “ that will be coming back soon. So we asked for a table in the back, the waitress also said it was reserved.
It was clear that the restaurant was empty and was not crowded at all.

We kindly asked the waitress that once the tables are available please shift us to it, they agreed and went by.

During taking our orders, we asked again as we did not see any customers coming but they said there is no availability.

Later when they started serving I noticed that no customer /“lady” is coming for the corner table nor the “reserved” tables so I told the service guy that I want to shift as I am not comfortable sitting here.

He went and asked and came again with the other previous guy and said that now the table in the corner is available.

When we got to the corner table it was super clean and clear that no one was even sitting on that table. It felt like they were pushing us away from that specific table. It was obvious that it was not occupied in the first place!

I told the service guy, “ so where is lady? Is she not coming back? Or was she not here in the first place? “ He became nervous and said that she left without paying. Now I did not buy that as it was clear that the table was not occupied.

The restaurant was not crowded at all. We ate dinner and left and no customers came for the “reserved tables”.

The corner table was really beautiful and romantic. I dont understand why they were pushing us away from it. Maybe because we are locals and our requests are not important? Or maybe they are waiting for a foreigner to occupy such a beautiful table as the foreigner is more important to them?

Lying to customers and telling them that tables are occupied or reserved when clearly are not is disrespectful. I read in another post that terra does not accept reservations. Customers are not stupid.

The food nice but the experience made me consider if I will ever visit again.

Had the creme Brulee and avocado toast. Food was very delicious but a little pricey. They had a selection of 4 different coffees which is not common to see in Dubai eatery's.

Beautiful restaurant, very well designed. The plates, glasses, cups and cutlery are gorgeous. Salads are amazing. The duck breast was not up to my standard, below average. The service can be more attentive, the front staff at the door are very good but the servers are a bit slow and you have to keep calling them for attention. Overall good experience.

One of the few “upscale causal” restaurants in the city. Excellent food and service as always, highly recommended.

The place is very very beautiful, I recommend coming during the day if you wanna take much better pictures lol, but in general the place is very cozy and they have high quality food and breakfast as well as coffee. I've tried the Short Rib Pappardelle it was so so so delicious, I also recommend going as a group to enjoy the different types of dishes they have and I'm sure it'll be very tasty. I will be visiting again during the day time to explore the place more and see much details. The outside seating are very beautiful perfect for all day.

I recommend this place & ask always for Klein's when you eat over there.

Me, my friends and family have been regulars here since the soft opening, but after the disgraceful experience we had last time, we will all never come back. Yesterday at 8, the usual hostess, the lady with the blond hair and thick eyeliner greeted us, and we walked over to 3 empty tables, me and my sister were discussing among ourselves for less than 5 seconds when we were interrupted with the hostess getting angry with us and almost yelling at us to choose a seat. I got frustrated but still politely asked her to give us the menus and we'll choose between the three tables (it had only been 30 seconds at this point). This made her even more mad, and angrily she and said "i have other guests" got mad at us and left us in the middle of the restaurant.
We left without making a scene, absolutely horrified at what we encountered.

We live across the street and Terra was our favorite since we trust the owner and respect him, and what he and his family have done for the food scene in Dubai. But this was the worst a restaurant had ever treated us in the world, and in our own country.

Worth the wait, food taste perfect and the staff are kind and polite. Thanks to the team, specially Luigi, Shokie and Mark. Keep it up Terra.

I had come across Terra Eatery while shopping at Waitrose Supermarket next door and today visited the restaurant for lunch. The venue is charming with a great menu. We tried a few dishes and everything was excellent. Ended our lunch with dessert and coffee. The portion size is small and the pricing is on the higher side. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience.

Bit overpriced, unusual salads. 35aed for a bottle of still water is really high. Home made pasta but pretty thick and chewy. The tagliatelle was also home made pasta but chef didn’t take care for it all not to clump together. Decent food and posy crowd frequenting it, but small portions with high price

But, it is good place for ladies since it has small portion.

I dropped in on the spur of the moment as I was passing by to go to the supermarket. Don’t let the location at the Waitrose mall put you off. And please make a reservation before you go because they are so busy. I was lucky to even get a table.

Everything I ordered was delicious. The yellowtail ceviche was tart and refreshing. The fried calamari was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The spicy chili prawns were mouthwatering. My favorite though is the sticky toffee pudding that brings back childhood memories of home.

Great decor and ambience. Had an ok experience the first time around, went again to give them another try, was quite disappointed. The Tuna seemed stale and under seasoned, the chicken came fairy pink in the middle and the burrata left a lot to be desired. Stick to the prawns and the pizza.

The best thing we've tried here is the (Beet Root Quinoa Salad), I highly recommend it, everything else was normal, we tried the truffle pizza, the burrata, Salami Terra pizza, the Short Ribs, and for drinks Apple Basil juice.

Great tasting food.had dinner here.
Issue 1: portions were small.it's like a half portion.u have to get 2 main courses or compensate with several appetizers and multiple sides.
Issue 2: the welcoming part certainly can be improved.

Nicest staff and place, kids friendly, feels fresh and airy with lots of plants especially olive trees.
Meals are Italianish-Turkish, as they have few Turkish chefs. It became popular as soon as it opened its doors; mostly almost packed. My suggestion is to order few different meals for sharing, for example a pizza (pizzas are small only for one person), a salad, an apetizer and share. Enjoy!

The place is beautiful friendly staff but the food isn’t good we didn’t like it at all, tasteless boring and pricy I will certainly come back but just for coffee when I come to waitrose for my grocery but not worth it to eat there!

Good atmosphere and cozy. Friendly staffs. Coffee was ok. You can have nightjar’s coffee here as well. Tiramisu was good. Would like to visit again in the day time.

It’s almost like you walked in another world. It has a fine dining atmosphere without the loud music. Amazing interior design. Truffle pizza was perfect and i loved the mushroom risotto.they also have a exquisite selection of drinks

If you haven't already tried this place, it's well worth it giving it a shot. Service was friendly although there were points where things could have been slightly quicker. The food and drinks were really good however portions were slightly small. Then again considering the genre of the restaurant and cuisine, probably made sense. A bit on the pricey side too.

I hope the owner sees this. The manager is out of this world. How can you treat a customer like this? Or any human being on the planet. If you keep this manager might as well close the place. Ordered a chai latte that was FILLED with turmeric something the waiter did not mention to me or asked if I would like that or not. I asked to cancel it because it kept my stomach uncomfortable. I didn’t want to change it because I didn’t like anything else. If I wanted a turmeric latte I would’ve ordered it instead of chai latte. There was nothing chai about that latte. The spice was unreal. I asked to cancel it the waiter kept going and coming back going and coming back making me extremely comfortable throughout my whole stay there. I asked the waiter to cancel it. The manager simply suggests to the waiter to add it to the bill. Even though I literally took ONE SIP of it it was full already. And he refused to remove it from our bill. While we are discussing why they would not cancel it since I literally took one sip and immediately called to cancel it the manager kept roaming around our table going crazy and giving us crazy eyes and staring. Instead of coming to the table simply informing us that they could not cancel it and at LEAST apologize. We could’ve been cooperative and paid and left. Clearly he obviously has no experience with managing a restaurant or even hospitality trained. You never should do that to a customer. It is not of the etiquette. Also I left a review on their Instagram and they immediately deleted it. I hope the owner attempt to take this into consideration and try to make it a better place.

I liked the ambience, from the food menu, I liked the chilli prawns and truffle pizza. I ordered the rib eye risotto but didn’t like it.

Terrible service and food. I went there once and everyone there was complaining about unpleasent the service is. Plus the restaurant manager is so rude and disrespectful didn't even bother himself or make any effort to make sure anyone is happy. Save your coins people for a worthy place:)
