We have ordered large quantities of food from Thambapanni and the food has always been delicious and clean.

Especially the nasi goreng was absolutely mouth watering. Their patties and cutlets are the best I have had in a looong time. Everything we ordered was amazing tbh.

Recently I’ve been ordering rice and curry and it would remind you of your home food for sure. Clean, warm, homely and everything you expect your rice and curry to be. Their daily meals are delicious and brought to your doorstep.

I would only order from Thambapanni for any occasions as they have always kept their word, delivered on time, delicious, warm meals.

If you are in Dubai, Thambapanni is one of those must try out places.

Disasater service. From reception to the delivery. Short eats order took 1: 30 min for delivery. And avoiding the fallow back call. Not up to any standards.

Very delicious food. You can taste the true srilankan food taste. Reasonable price. Especially I like egg hoppers.

We tried their newly introduced Biryani today! And it was exceptional! The flavours took me right back to Sri Lanka! I hope that this continues to be on the menu as a daily item instead of a special coz I look forward to being able to add this to my list of comfort food! Whilst commending their excellent food, and flavours, I would also like to say, kudos to their customer service! From taste to customer care to delivery, they have set a great standard! Looking forward to trying out more delicious meals from them!

A home away from home! That's exactly how I feel about Thambapanni! Their food never fails to surprise me and has always been a plus point for me and my colleagues! They make me nostalgic by bringing back the exotic flavours that I left behind at home in Sri Lanka! An experience worth the try and then you wouldn't wanna stop trying!

Had a quick stop at the outlet today, temptation made me want to try the yellow rice, loved every bit of it. The fish curry was out of this world. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Got the idiappam with veg dal. Good quantity. Dal was simple and was supplemented well by the coconut sambar. Very quick and polite service. Even gave us complimentary dal and sambar. I only wish the items were a little less spicy. The food set fires to my inside

The kothu in Thambapanni is absolutely HORRIBLE! There was no spice whatsoever about it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never come here even if my life depended on It!

Had lunch with a friend today. Red rice, chicken curry, dhal, manioc curry - a traditional Sri Lankan meal with ginger beer. Out of this world. Salivating thinking about it even after a few hours. Staff was friendly and courteous. Will go back for sure. I am told that the morning lentil soup or kola kenda is good. Must try that as its a favorite back home.

I think it's very unhygienic place I had Crab curry and rice. My stomach is upset now.
Hope it was fresh.

We used to order many times to Town Square. All of a sudden, the minimum order value was made double (to Aed 150). This restaurant keeps keeping the order value threshold and it’s really disappointing. At least consider the customer loyalty and try to retain and treat your existing customers

I have tasted one of the worst kothu ever in my life. I dont understand why they charging so much if they cannot keep up the quality of the food. I have to throw the food coudnt eat more!
I would have given ZERO STARS!
I will never ever recommend anyone to this place!

A Sri Lankan offering in this food court, complete with local favourite dishes and specials on the weekends like Friday lamprais that's available and on display from about 10am. Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

I tried the lamprais which included a big drumstick on a bed of curry stock boiled rice and other sides surrounding making it a filling meal with a huge spice hit on the tastebuds as you would expect from a Sri Lankan restaurant. Let's just say no part of the meal lacked flavour, so be prepared!

I also tried the iced coffee which was pre-made and OK but nothing special which I sadly ordered because they didn't have any desserts available at all when I ordered on a Friday just before lunch.

This place is located in the Lulu al barsha food court in the ground floor. They have amazing srilankan food. A must try is their Chicken lamprais. They also have authentic srilankan hoppers.

My favourite joint for chai and vadas. I like their vegetarian choice of food. Their staff and chef Raja are very warm and friendly people. The freshly made srilankan sweets are also delicious. Must try place!

Food received packed in banana leaves and the taste of your goodness reminded of homemade food that's been cooked on firewood stoves back home. Loved them all!

I first saw them on Instagram and fell in love with their food photography. Everything about it reminded me of home and home cooked food. The colors, ingredients, utensils used and the way they marketed their food is just mouth-watering. We went to the Food court outlet in Lulu Hypermarket as it is closer to us. Fast and efficient service, good portions, reasonable prices. My only concern was the plates used. I though we would be served in sustainable plates and cups as shown in the images but then i understand how food courts work. Other than that, the diverse variety of dishes for meals everyday for lunch, is an experience any foodie who loves Sri Lankan food must try. Simple, home-cooked goodness!

Today we had Easter Special menu. It was very nice! Delicious curries! Nice drink and lovely desert! Even though delivery was bit late we are very happy with the food! Keep up the good work!

Authentic Srilankan food served at such an affordable price and so delicious too! It felt like home food cooked by your mother (although I’m not Srilankan but yeah) really delicious and can’t wait to try other of its delicacies

If you want to enjoy only chicken bones, this is the place to order. They are fooling customers by showing very colorful Sri Lankan cuisine. However, the actual dish comes with less quantities and full of bones. No chicken. I don't recommend in ordering from this place as you will regret of having it.

They are trying to reduce the cost by reducing the quantity and putting bones instead of meat but that will end up in losing more customers soon.

Thanks for your response. I ordered yellow rice with devilled chicken on 07-11-2020 and made a complain to your team as soon as I receive the food. Unfortunately, no response from your team.

This is the third time and all the previous incidents I had complained to your team but no improvements. Since you are charging a reasonable amount compare to your competitors in Dubai, please make sure to provide sufficient food as your illustrative pictures will not help you to retain genuine customers for a long time.
