Full marks for the effort and vibe. Full marks for food too!
Every item that we ordered (aloo sandwich, chicken sandwich, chicken momos, keema pav, nutella sandwich, cheese piza, masala tea) was AMAZING!
The bollywood theme and songs take you into 90's and that's pure love!
Will definitely visit the place again and again and again!

The place is so overpriced compared to the quality and service they are delivering.
Nothing is easy to eat. They have weird ways of serving food which is hitting the user experience big time.
We ordered a chicken tikka and it came in a flask packed with chicken over the salad. So unless we eat 3/4th of the chicken there is no way to reach the salad. This was so overly complicated and unnecessary.
And the food quality is not up to the mark

Food quality is deteriorating. Had a cold response from the staff and hesitant to serve properly. Heavily priced for low quality and low portion of dishes.

Ordered butter chicken noodles, maggi masala, pani puri, hot chocolate and karak chocolate. Karak chocolate was something different and really nice, rest all were ok. Quantity is less when compared to the price.

Ambience is beautiful, menu, variety all are perfect. Staff is courteous. The problem lies in food and pricing. Anywhere you can find golgappa for 7-12aed range, they charged 28 aed saying it comes with rangeela paani. Which was nothing else but just spicy and sweet water served in shot glasses. 2 shot glasses contained mango puree as well. No exceptional stuffing, just money for presentation on a mini cart with shot glasses is loot. Egg Keema with Pao was like butter chicken gravy combined with egg scramble. Not worth the 30aed they charged. They should work on food taste and pricing both.

Great concept, excellent ambience, interesting menu, the pricing could be way better though. I'm from Mumbai and I studied in Mithibai College. The Mithibai college sandwich is a fascinating travel back in time, but am I going to pay Dhs 40 for it? Maybe just once, even though I may be able to afford it. The current pricing model isn't affordable for the common diner, although the menu is hugely appealing to that target audience, because it's relatable and nostalgic. It's vastly disproportionate, and I'm sure the restaurant can do way better.

Worst experience ever.went with 9 family members and despite telling them we were vegetarians, we were served meat.once we discovered this we pointed it out and they blamed the chef.the manager was called (he wasnt at the restaurant) came on the phone and his solution was - "i will take action against chef" as if that would help us.we told him our meal was over and we could not eat further and this should not be charged.again his wise solution was "i wont charge you for the non-veg dish" (as if we were supposed to pay for the incorrect dish). Told us nothing else he could do except punish chef and kept the phone.would not share his name or number.i suggest as families or vegetarians give this place a WIDE BERTH! Complaints have been lodged with Dubai Economic Dept and Dubai Food Safety Dept.hopefully they can get a better response from them! Disgusted!

Fantastic ambience with average service and above average food quality. I have been here several times with friends as well as with family. My kids enjoyed being here because of the ambience and I like ginger tea but the samosa is not as great as other competitors offer in the same vicinity.
Overall experience is above average and recommended for people who wants to have different restaurant experience from regular restaurants.

We have visited this place last week for lunch.ambience was really nice and for that 2 stars, rest every thing was below average.

Simply over priced with no taste. During lunch time we were the only one there still service was taking like hours to get anything on the table.

Its my first time in the bhukkad cafe.i loved the interior. Tried some items from their menu and it was yummy. A great place to chillout with friends.

Nice place with unique presentation. Tea is really good they cook fresh tea on order.

Went here with my family for light snacks. Had a lot of expectations based on what we heard about the other branch of this restaurant. The place is not exactly budget friendly which we accepted because of the location and expected the quality and taste of the make up for it. Not sure if it was the chef on the day or the dishes we ordered, but it was way below par. We ordered for Onion rings, sev puri and Pani puri. Onion rings were low on salt and bland, sev puri was horrendous (had to take another bite to reconfirm it was that bad) and the Pani puri was below par. The staff here seemed a little lost. Had to reconfirm that they had service or if it was self service since they were just loitering around the counter. Kudos to the interiors and the presentation of the food. Very well done and unique and the only upside of the restaurant, but it's just not good enough if the food and service is not at par with other similar options around Silicon Oasis. Don't think I'll be visiting this place and will still give the Karama branch a shot.

The Vada Paav was horrible, Vada was soaked too much in oil, I felt like the vada itself is made out of Poori’s bhaji because the Vada was so loosely packed and that could be the reason of too much oil absorption.
The second dish I tried was Thu Cheese Badi hai Mast, that is also horrible because the french fries are not fried properly and when it was soaked in cheese the total experience became like eating something cold.

The third I tried was Maggi, that was awesome

The fourth We tried was Adarak Chai and that was also good.

We specifically told to serve the the tea at first and that was served at last.

Bhukkad lost its charm for sure. I liked this cafe once but not anymore.

Food was tasteless, we ordered pizza which did not taste like pizza at all and the service was very slow

Great option in DSO area. Located within Silicon Central. Cozy atmosphere taking yourself on a trip around India.
I had a great lunch meal of butter chicken with paratha and some momos on the side. Friendly staff and ok price.

Food was average. In the attempt to do something different they’ve messed up the authentic taste of many dishes. Menu is very complex and so is the food. Would not recommend it

The Aam Ras? Puri was simply delicious. Freshly prepared Aam Ras tastes divine.

Must try is their Rangeela pani puri. It comes with 6 different flavours of pani

First time in this place. We ordered ginger tea and it was amazing. I ordered fries and pizza for my daughter. 24AED fries were average
Pizza was ok. Chole baturay, thali, momos, kebab with egg sandwich, bun maska, onion bhujiya is what we ordered. Food is pricey honestly and small portions however it is good. The service was super slow. Things were not being served as efficiently. We had to call the staff everytime we needed something. The thali was all in one, we wanted a chicken dish separately as one of our friend was vegetarian but they couldnt accommodate that. The serving dishes are cute but bulky takes alot of space and impractical. Plus the staff was not removing the dishes as we were finishing. Staff were polite but there was no initiative from them and seemed like they are very procedure oriented and cannot accommodate small requests such as serving chicken separately. Thali was very disappointing and over priced. Will visit for chai but will dread the service

The Bhukkad Cafe is styling itself around the experience of "Indian street food". I was curious as it was the first time for me to visit such place. The designer have done a good job creating a special atmosphere. The service was good and food choices plentiful and affordable. Desi shakshouka that was suggested turned out to be very spicy as compared to Indian food experience in North America. It's probably closer to the original than what I am used to but one has to be aware of own tolerance for spices and ask the server if in doubt.

Decided on a last minute lunch plan and happened to visit this outlet located in Silicon Central on 18th October 2022. While the interiors are quite catchy and colorful, we were not pleased by the service. The servers were friendly but our food took much longer than anticipated since the menu largely consists of snacks or quick meals.

Food/Drink that did impress -

3. Elaichi Chai

Foods that did not impress -
1. Bhukkad Butter Kukkad - chicken texture was too hard and felt like it was a stale cooked dish that was just reheated. Lachcha paratha served alongside didn't taste fresh, probably was a frozen one.
2. Desi Coffee - Was more milk with a dash of coffee.

This is a must go place if you are are a tea lover. Good Ambiance, looks like a indian street tea stall. It was purely a chance visit but i really enjoyed it. Great place to have Indian tea with your family and friends. Each and every flavor is so distinct and good. Price are reasonable. Combo tea we ordered is enough for 4 to 6 people.

The normal place with skyrocketing prices. The place was stylishly pleasing but the costs were unreasonable.
The nourishment did not taste worth the money. We wanted to order Pani Puri. When we saw the cost and were stunned. 26 DHS for 8 little Pani Puris! It wasn't indeed that flavourful They had Given three Flavors in that green Flavour WAS NOT Good taste. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone, especially for pani puri lovers….

A quirky cafe with Indian street style menu. We went a few days ago to try out their Boba. They’ve recently introduced Boba with Indian flavours. We tried their Kulfi Boba, and it was good. It wasn’t too sweet, but had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavour with a bit of nuts in it. We also tried their Mac n tikka, and sev puri. It was good, but the pricing is a bit expensive for the amount of food that is being served. An Instaworthy ambience. The staffs are approachable and customer friendly.

Beautiful ambience and very hospitable service by Anjali and Sanowaz. Highly recommend especially the fusion panipuri was delectable, a treat for the tastebuds. Perfect blend of creativity, fusion and taste.

The place is good. The atmosphere is very nice. The food is delicious. The people who serve are very nice. Some dishes are overpriced to the quantity that is served (eg Chinese Bhel). The only other suggestion is that the people who serve need to be looking at their table more often. On couple of occasions, after waiting for a while to grab their attention, I had to get up and go towards them to get their attention. Overall, would recommend people to go and try them out.

Worst experience, the food wasn’t good and taste was not up to the mark.over priced, no value for money. Timelines of service is zero. The restaurant can’t run on fancy dialogues and pictures. They should rework on the menu and taste.

I will rate one mark just for the staff.

We were there today evening for dinner with family. Ambiance & Food was good, but the service was not good at all.

Bhukkad cafe is truly of those hidden gems that you cannot get enough of. From the quirky, colorful interiors to their nostalgic food, this cafe will definitely become a favorite once you visit. You should try their pizza maggi! I crave it from time to time, so good!

The down side was the waiting time.
It made us to rethink if we should visit this place or not.
