But what truly amazed me was seeing Stevie post-operation. There was minimal bruising and swelling, so much so that it was hard to tell she had just undergone such a big surgery! I would say this is the BEST place to bring and have your cat checked for your cat needs. The Doctors are so competent, friendly and accommodating. I commend Dr. Moustafa for his expertise and compassionate care he provided to our cat. The staff are awesome, they attend to your questions and needs right away. The clinic is very clean compared to other veterinary clinics I had been. The location is parking friendly. Most of all the Doc vets are very caring and will never leave your cat unhealthy and sick. the doctors will assess the situation with a dental x - ray of your cat’s mouth which allows detailed dental work and hence can avoid further pain and problems. Happy cat, happy owner)

Really a shame to be rating this this clinic so low but I feel obliged to share my review since they refuse to give details of the management to escalate a complaint.

After a few times using the vets for treatment of my anxious cat, I was prepared to swallow the high prices as both vets that I have seen were patient, calm, and generally very good with treatment and handling and the clinic is nice in general. However, the rude and obnoxious attitude of the receptionist (or booking staff) and the general lack of customer service is off-putting. It seems every time you contact the clinic, it is a headache for them to deal with you and it certainly appears to be too much effort for them to take the time to call. I have experienced the same when visiting.

The communication is extremely poor, and the manner is abrupt and dismissive and feels like they are just pushing to bill as much as possible for things that have not been requested.and with no explanation. I fully respect any business wanting to make as much money as possible and upsell customers, but there is a way to go about doing so.

When customers are paying 5-star prices, you expect a 5-star service across the board. It is a shame the service does not match the vets' quality. Your receptionists are typically the front face of a business; ultimately, it's how one decides where to spend their money.

It seems my complaint is not an isolated incident since other customers are commenting on the same. I hope you address this since it is causing you to lose customers.

Thank you for your response however it is clear you have not addressed my concerns. My complaint is not just about the attitude of the staff alone, but the overall experience. And at no point did I ask for anyone's personal mobile number. I asked for the Managers name and a number to call. Very surprising and disappointing customers are not allowed to approach management and it takes a public complaint for you to contact someone. My issue were regarding:

1. Receiving an estimate for almost 800AED when a single flu vaccine (that costs 80-90 aed in other facilities) was requested.
2. An argument insisting that the cat needs microchipping and has received no vaccines when in actual fact this documentation (cat passport) was already provided and recorded when she was registered and a second time when the first flu vaccine was given. (this is not the first time this has happened)
3. The fact there are no records of the previous vaccine given.
4. Then, finally, the general attitude of the staff talking to me. Should she have wanted to explain anything, she could pick up the phone and have a conversation like any normal person. Not sending rude messages in CAPS in annoyance just because I advise I don't want a service or question what is being forced upon me.

My Cat is usually very nervous during checkups, Dr. SANDY was amazing and did a wonderful efforts, kept my cat very calm and happy

She checked the cat, gave her the required vaccinations and the entire experience was very helpful and professional.

I had a great experience with The Cat Vet. I brought in a stray cat for spaying and the staff behaved exemplary. The reception staff was so polite and welcoming, booking the appointment was so easy and straight forward. After the procedure I was contacted and I was updated on the status of the kitty. The discharge was done with professionalism. I am satisfied and fully confident that the kitty was very well treated and looked after. All in all I would recommend this place anytime. Far better than any vet experience I’ve had in town.

Will definitely bring my cats for grooming and their annual vaccinations as well.

Just for cats. Rate is on the high side but you get what you pay for - thorough checks, itemize bills and good care for your precious cat and strays alike.

Probably one of the very few professional vets in Dubai. They showed empathy and care and did not try to rip us off like most other vets do.

We are thankful to have found this place after living in Dubai for the last 2 years. We have been bringing strays in for TNR and checkups and they give excellent rates. They are extremely warm and compassionate towards the kitties we have brought in. They are also very patient in their explanations and visits never feel rushed.

The Cat Vet are great with cats but horrible customer service at the front desk, and unfortunately for me the costs are stressful. I don't feel the same "warmth" and friendliness they share in their marketing, irl it feels much more transactional.

Edit: in response to the company's feedback. The process has always been clear to me especially as I have been to multiple vets in the UAE. This was never the issue here. It is the front desk's inability to provide adequate customer service in terms of managing telephone simple telephone conversations, and other basic customer service functions. Like said, great with cats but even more clearly from the response not good with humans.

Excellent veterinary services specifically for cats. They have excellent rates for TNR of strays as well. The Vets and nurses are courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Amy, Nurse Megan and the rest of the team are absolutely great, but the pricing is quite shocking.

The staff at the CAt Vet are absolutely amazing! My kitty is so much more relaxed and calmer during her visitations!

Accommodated my cat surgery and helped alot in the process uptill discharge, location is a bit far away and on a busy road.

Great service, Dr. Kate was excellent and has outstanding care both for her patients and their owners. While prices might be slightly high, they only charge for what is necessary and required, I didn't feel that I was over charged or over sold in anyway compared to other vet clinics I'd previously visited

Good vet, I am happy with the care my beloved cat received.

Not so happy about a suppliment (water additive) the doctor recommended and I bought in good faith just to find out that the market price for the same item on line was almost half of what i was charged at the clinic (113 vs 63). Sorry, not very professional. I did not appreciated being cheated this way.

Update.
The clinic acknoledged there was a genuine pricing error on the item and offered to commute the overpaid amount to an account credit.

These people are not there to take your money. If nothing is wrong with your cats they will not charge you. Special thanks to Dr. Kate for loving our two cats like her own.

Also, people use their groomers! The groomer is as knowledgeable as the vet and was able to catch something wrong in our cat early and saved us so much time and worry!

The BEST place for cats. I highly recommend this Veterinary clinic. Dr Ray, and the staff member who is in charge of cuddling and playing (I want her job!) and all the staff are outstanding! My cat is usually tense at the vet but here he is totally relaxed.

After being misinformed about the timings of the boarding, and trying to clarify how I’m not able to wait till the next day because I won’t be in Dubai, the head of nurse called me “inpolite” even though I apologized (even though I was the one who was misinformed) and repeatedly told her that I understand but there’s nothing else I can do since I’m leaving dubai in a couple of hours. She insisted on giving me one solution only which only seemed reasonable to her and not me. After finally coming up with a solution and reaching the place I found out that most of the services I payed for weren’t done to my cat. This was one of the worst experiences I ever had with a vet and I made sure all my contacts knew so they won’t have to deal with the same thing that I had to.

My favorite vet clinic, from the patient groomers to expert doctors, great nurses to lovely receptionists, everyone is amazing. And I am a neurotic, crazy cat lady and they still bear with me.
Special praise goes to Dr. Rai- in 2 major events with my cat, he was the hero.

It's my first ever to visit vet clinic. I was happy with their service. The doctor was thorough and helpful. The grooming service was great too. It's my first time ever, so I don't know how to compare their service to others. I don't know how compare prices too.

Very unhelpful. I needed a chip for a rescue kitten and even though this vet does not deal with rescue animals the lady I spoke to refuse to assist me and refer me a vet clinic that would be able to help.
Instead she (reception/assistant) told me to check other vets on Facebook.
Looks like money making comes before helping creatures here.

I have tried the top vet clinics in dubai and had the best experience in TCV. Prices a bit more expensive around 15% than average vets but i received my kittens after surgery clean and happy not stresses at all. Maybe because its cat only clinic

+ Happy with the care and service provided and I cant thank Dr Oonagh any more she is fantastic and very clear with her descriptions and advice.

- Found it expensive, 2000 aed for blood test in the first appointment, the follow up appointment shocked me as they charged again for this which in previous visit with other vets they have never charged especially after and expensive visit the week before.

If prices were better I would give 10/10 as continued treatment at this cost is gonna be a struggle.

What a great visit we had to TCV today. Our recently rescued street kitten was treated like Royalty for a very nasty stomach infection that very probably was life threatening. A very empathetic, professional and knowledgeable Dr. Monica took fantastic care of our little ginger princess who is now well on the road to recovery. From our first call, till after we left we were well looked after by the entire team. Price-wise they are fair and competitive, and the cleanliness and setup are world class. This is one of the best places in Dubai for Cats however it can be expensive.
Staff are really nice and professional. My cat was treated a few times and spayed here. You can be sure that your cat is in good care here.
If you visit here, book Dr Monica, as she takes good care and provides efficient diagnosis.
The last time I met another doctor, my cat had tummy issues, she recommended (in my opinion) excessive scans and blood tests Aed 2000+, I did agree to the tests and charges as my cat looked in pain, thankfully all results were normal and my cat got better in 2 days with some GI support food.
Make sure you ask questions for each test, scan and procedure, so you only do the most important ones first and if you need to investigate further, then do the next best option.

We take our cat here and she is comfortable with the place. They take such good care of her every time we go. Very gentle with her too. We got her spayed here. Well-trained staff and very professional. They answer all your doubts very satisfactorily. Our go-to vet clinic!

I don't normally write bad review but here I'm devastated. Such horrible experience I've just had! After all good words I heard abt them.
Never again in that clinic EVER!

1st way bfr decision I came personally there and talked to the receptionist abt grooming/shaving my boy. She only mentioned basic which has no shaving but that's I find out when I came already with cat!

2nd NO FOLLOW UPS OR REMINDERS on appointments etc.
I've asked to be with my cat only during sedation so he knows I'm there (which obviously I have right to)
They all said not possible as its clinic/surgery room! Why surgery room for simple sedation? ! It's can be done in consultation room! NO, with them impossible! (I've always done it bfr in previous vets be near my cat during sedation)
No doctors came to talk to me at all! Which as well in previous vets I always have a chat with doctors while doing sedation for my peace of mind! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? ! No contact with clients.
They said U NEED TO TRUST US! Really? Trust what? If u didn't let me see a thing? ! I don't know what happened there and how can I trust and be sure my cat hasn't been tortured by knowing he's difficult and aggressive cat in the vets and needs a special treat!

3rd When I came to pick up my boy.again no doctors came to talk to me! I looked at my cat and said oh I've asked to shave him shorter.groomer reply was - that the max I can shave!
On the belly all shaved uneven.legs not done properly! Head to neck very obvious line which could be done smoothly as he's short hair.and I show to groomer the pic of my cat of how I want him to be shaved!
They said thanks and THATS ABT IT!
So everything I asked and request them all reply I get is NO that's the procedure NO that's the policy!

Be more flexible and friendly with ur clients THE CAT VET! Our cats r our babies.for u they r only money to get seems to be.

Our house vet and they are great in any case! Yes they are not the cheapest but if you want quality, you are here at the right place!

We usually don't recommend vets to our clients as we prefer to stay neutral but after our personal experience as cat parents, we can highly recommend Dr. Rai and his team. He saved our Ron Ron when he chewed some nylon and it got stuck in his stomach, followed by our siamese Dolphin, and lately our rescued boy Petro who is a senior and had a full dental extraction at the clinic. Whether you go for a check-up or procedure or hospitalization, we really doubt you will find a vet in UAE like Dr. Rai. Speaking from experience of 13 years with cats in Dubai, and bunnies. If we talk cats at least, for sure you won't find a vet experienced in cats like Dr. Rai. All our friends and clients who visited him were happy with the service and professionalism, finally a "human" vet who will not do unnecessary work to make you pay extra money. Still it is not cheap, but hey you pay for what you get. If you are looking for a vet you can trust, the life of your cat is more important than anything else, this is the place.

Helpful friendly staff. Prices are reasonable to high.
You must call and consult it before arriving not to get disappointed. Do make your appointment in advance and discuss the procedures with the doctor not just reception so you get assured that everything will be under their control

I took 2 Ragdoll kittens in to be Spayed it was our first time there but Dr. Amie Cameron was simply amazing. Friendly, efficient and professional.

I highly recommend this place. I only moved out from the UK 6 months ago and I tend to find professionals here up 'sell' a lot of unnecessary things, I was there for pleasantly supprised by Dr. Amie Cameron guiding me away from additional unnecessary things.

One word of caution though, while the medical team all seem totally brilliant animal lovers, the reception staff are a bit all over the place. If you book an appointment via WhatsApp, ensure they send you email confirmation (even if they don't ask for your email address).

That being said you don't go to the vet for the reception staff so this place is still top of my list. The Kittens were a lot more relaxed because its a Cat only vet and I liked the good selection of bits and pieces for sale. Will definitely be going back.

Dr Rai saved our cat, Popcorn, when we honestly didn't think there was any hope. He had a seriously nasty blood parasite and was in hospital for 5 days. We were never once left wondering how things were going as Rai kept us updated all the time.
I am eternally grateful as I would have been devastated if Popcorn hadn't made it, as would have been my daughter and my mum.

Brought our cat in for castration since he's been a naughty boy marking his territory around the house.

Dealing with The Cat Vet was very easy as they're always keeping in touch with us and updating on what's been done and what else to do on our cat.

My wife and I dropped our cat in the morning and by noon everything was done. We saw a few cats that were in boarding and they were well taken care of with food, water, and toys to keep them busy. The place is really clean and the staff are super friendly.

Would definitely come back again if (God forbid) something happens to our cat that requires expert care.

Visited recently for our first vaccinations and I was very impressed with how relaxed our cat Arthur was the whole time. Dr. Rai was brilliant with him! Also, there is tons of parking outside which is a big bonus.
