We took our Golden Retriever pup in for spaying recently and we couldn't be more thankful for the care that Dr Stelios and the wider team at The City Vet gave to our pup.

The aftercare was great and they made sure all was well post surgery. She is now fully recovered and back to her energetic and crazy self. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vet in Dubai

The entire staff, from the receptionists to the veterinarians, displayed a genuine passion for animals and their well-being. What stood out to me the most was the compassion shown by the entire team. They treated my cats with kindness and made sure all of us felt comfortable and at ease during our visit.

The suctomer service team is unhelpful and full of excuses. I was traveling with my dogs and was informed that all I need is the medical certificate that they provide, unfortunately that was not the case. I was turned back from the airport cancelling my families flight plus our 2 dogs and having to re book and pay over 3,000AED in extra charges. When I called to inform the city vet, the employee named "Ruby" said yes sir you should know you need an export permit, should I book you to come get a medical certificate? I asked for me to come and do the check up again and pay the fees? Surprisingly enough she said yes for me to come and pay! This is ridiculous and un professional on their end. Customer service was very rude swell.

We are loyal to City Vet & Pets Health (branch) with our dog Kiwi. We don't trust anyone else except Dr. Stelios & Dr. Carmen. We have come here for Hernia, Neutering, Insect Bite & Vaccinations.

Dear All,
Just avoid such money sucker vet clinics. My last visit, Just for skin allergy a hepty bill of around AED 3000/- and they can't even assure that the skin problem will be certainly resolved.
We visited this clinic for more than 5 times. The last one out of every unsatisfactory visit that we did to different branches of this clinic mostly for skin allergy of my same dog was a horrible experience.
Hence you may be looted to the max based on how much you love to your pet. End of the day you will spoil your pet's health due to high amount of medicines for minor reason.

I’m very dissatisfied with your receptionist. I’ve been buying from your clinic for months and always big quantities. How come one day you give me a % and another day your receptionist says there is no discount. It’s like they are changing the rules based on their moods. It’s been going on like this for sometime now.

If you started giving me a discount perhaps you should stick to that and stop changing it. Especially when you know I buy from you all the time. You just lost your regular client, thanks to you amazing receptionist Ana!

Lovely clinic, they always follow up on my cat’s vaccinations, check ups and they are extremely professional. Every time I take shadow for grooming they take good care of him.

Its our first time here and we are so thankful to be in this clinic specially its also our first time to have a Dog. All staff are so friendly and very welcoming specially people from the reception, and It feels like we found a new Home with our Fur baby. Thanks to our professional doctor as well who assisted us.

We took oreo, our cat, and he was treated very well. Service was excellent, the employees were very kind and caring.

All they care about is money ONLY. Thisnis the last year i use them. 3 years in a row problems with payments, each time different story. 600 dirhams for vaccine what the hell. They make up problems with ur cat just for the sake of it. Always ask for invoice because they dont give and if u get it u will find wrong items. Simply theives.

Had an spectacular experience with The City Vet Al wasl when I had to rush my fur babies for an emergency. Staff are so accomodating and friendly. This clinic is highly recommended.

We visited the clinic for the first time and we were so happy to see a familiar face of Ella at the reception desk. She has always been super attentive and happy.
We got an Ortho consult with Dr. Stella, who worked very patiently with our boy Elvis. After the x-ray, we were prescribed medication and we are so relieved to know that our boy will recover very soon.

Was referred to doctor Stella for an ortho consult for my rescue cat and I have to say how wonderful it has been dealing with her. Excellent healthcare for the kitty although she’s a stray. Cat is fully recovered without surgery. Highly recommend her

After many years of trying different vets, we have finally been with City Vet Al Wasl for over a year and feel we have found our forever vet. I have two Shiba Inus and between allergies, sensitive tummies, accidents etc, I feel like we visit almost on a monthly basis (I wish there was a frequent visitor card like in coffee shops where every visit gets a stamp lol).
The clinic is very well equipped with tools and medications that they’ve always been able to give a solution. I’ve experienced many vets where we come in for a consultation, and then they turn us away because the clinic doesn’t have the right equipment so it’s comforting that we can depend on City Vet to always help.
We’ve seen several vets at this location, however by far our favorite one is Dr. Stellios. You can see that he genuinely cares for the animals and takes the utmost care of them. Most often at vet clinics the front office staff will make follow up calls after an appointment to check in how they’re doing, however Dr. Stellios is the only vet I’ve had in Dubai who has personally called after an appointment or procedure to update me on my pet or to follow up to check in how they’re doing the next day if it was something more serious. It shows he has genuine care for the animals, their humans, and passion for his profession. We highly recommend CVAW and Dr. Stellios!

It's our first visit today. Max, our lionhead, was unwell, and I've looked up for the best vet close to where we live, and The City Vet Clinic came up on multiple searches. We had a wonderful experience with Dr Stella and the whole team. I'd highly recommend this clinic to our fur friends!

We have been taking our dog Simba to City Vet Clinic for almost 9 years and we are so happy with the level of care and professionalism shown by all the staff. Dr Stella, in particular, is just amazing!

Our dog was badly injured and no help was provided. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years and yet the same courtesy was not returned - very disappointed. However, on the other hand the British Veterinary Hospital was really helpful and professional.

My 9 week old Scottish straight kitten has Been receiving treatment around the clock in their ITU unit, the Vets in the centre are second to none. The Clinic is pricy, however you get what you are paying for which is amazing service and amazing VETS such as Dr Danilo. My Kitten has been saved by the professionalism of this veterinarian clinic

Dr's and staff are very caring and compassionate. And always phoning with updates on exactly the time they said they would. I have never felt like they are just trying to make money. And Dr Stallio see the birds' health and care as top priority and always honest regarding risks. No unnecessary medication etc.

Always a wonderful experience at City Vet! Dr Isabel and her team are fantastic with our nervous rescue and we trust our pup with them with every issue and appointment.

They gave us an emergency visit appointment at very late notice and were kind and professional throughout, advising us well on caring for and medicating our injured cat.

Misty and I really like coming to see Dr. Stella and Dr. Isabelle, and all nurses. They are so wonderful & gentle with Misty, she's a nervous, dramatic large dog, which can be a little tricky.but they don't even give it any attention and find other ways to soothe her. This for me makes such a difference. The treatment quality is great, they take the time to listen and share information.

The quality of treatment is second to none, and the staff take the time to really listen to my concerns and answer my questions. Our pups love this place! The team take such good care of them, even when they are being bad-tempered and boisterous.

We have been coming here for almost 5 years now. We have always received wonderful care, be it from the doctors, nurses, groomers or admin staff. Great clinic, great staff, great service.

I have been a regular at cityvet for almost 8 years and generally i’ve been satisfied with their services, the doctors in this branch are of high caliber and they don’t push aggressive treatments unless necessary. However recently i have been facing quality issues from the supportive staff to the point of it becoming a danger to my cats’ health and wellbeing (forgetting to give me medicine, leaving IV in my cat’s arms after discharge, and so on) and i’ve had enough and moving my cats somewhere else.

I would recommend the doctors but i will say to be extra cautious and diligent with the supportive staff.

Dott Stella is very professional and kind.
I reached the clinic one night with my cat Pepper almost dead due a wrong diagnosis from another clinic. If wasn’t for her my baby will be dead! Dott Danilo also followed up with me everyday during Pepper recovery and was always available to answer my million questions!
The poor nurses were subject daily to Pepper scratch but they were always nice and friendly!
I highly recommend this clinic!

Especially Doctor Stella! (Jumeirah branch) She is the best doctor I have come across in many years.

Doctor Stella, has seen my rescued bird twice and with such precision, has handled the situation and advised the correct simplified medication. And the issue was resolved just in 2 days.

The staff are very friendly and co-operative making your pet feel comfortable too.

The staff seemed to be in confusion yesterday on my visit. Kept me waiting a long time on all stages of the treatment. Came out to the car eventually with medicine for the animal with no gloves on and if I remember correctly no mask. Coming very close close to my car window with no thought of safety.went back in and had forgotten to bring the pet! Message sent this morning for feedback with wrong pet name!

Brought my pet for grooming two days ago and I'm very happy. Good quality of service and accommodating staff.

The place feels like a factory, no personal touch at all. Pets are being handled like on a conveyor belt.
Did a blood test, they emailed the result but did not call me for 3 weeks despite me chasing multiple times. Guess they don’t care, sad.

Dr. Zia was the only reason I used to visit the clinic, he would show full care and empathy towards strays and pets. I can't say the same about my recent experience with this clinic. They will do anything to charge you unreasonably, the receptionists tone are so stern and unfriendly. I was not even informed that the stray cat I had brought had passed away. It seems they will call you endlessly regarding money but do not have the decency to let you know your cat has passed away! I am so upset with the way things are being handled. I have been going there for years but I am really horrified with my recent experiences. Sorry.

Tried so many vets over the last 13 years and finally found the most caring and reliable vet team at City Vets. Been looked after by all vets at the branch and they are all amazing! Fairly priced and great assistance with strays too!

Hey there. I delightfully recommends the city vet clinic to everyone out there looking for a quality veterinary clinic to visit this clinic coz all the doctors including individuals working there are superb.

First experience was fine, appointment delayed 30 minutes because of an emergency. The doctor was helpful in giving information and helping me understand the issue of my pet, recommended medication and treatments. All was well, until I viewed the very pricy bill.

This is the most expensive clinic we have frequented. People and their pets are viewed as dollar signs. Blatant rip off.

I was referred to Dr. Stella Pantazopoulou by City Vet JVT for my male yorkie Franki of almost 12 years for an issue that had gone undiagnosed for years. Dr. Stella was extremely thorough, professional and understanding towards me as I am a neurotic crazy person over my pets. She performed a major surgery in July, and now again in October. Within a week Franki is now the playful loving fur ball he has always been. I highly recommend City Vet Clinic Al Wasl branch - with high praise and gratitude to Dr. Stella. The entire, staff from reception to the nurses were excellent! Don't waste your time going elsewhere.

HORRIBLE! Everyone in the community told me NOT to go here and I finally learned my lesson. I am not one to write reviews, but this is absolutely necessary so that other people are not subjected to this place and their practices. They will do everything in their power to up charge you. Plus very incompetence vets.

I want to start of with a warning. This is EVERY animal parents WORST nightmare. I had the upmost respect for this clinic until I had bought my very sick cat in.she refused to eat and was in distress They suggested a blood test and with those results (hematology) had informed me that my cats kidney's where quote ' shredded ' and that she is diabetic and that she has a maximum of a month to live.this prognosis was based on a blood test ONLY! When I asked what would be the best step euthanization was suggested. Me being in utter shock as I was just told that my darling baby was on her death bed. Reception had no idea about anything and I ended up paying a ridiculous amount and they did not even have the decency to give me an INVOICE, me being in shock and sobbing uncontrollably had forgotten to request. I had sought a second opinion from DKC after another blood test and urine test there was NO GLUCOSE in her URINE (which was HALF of City Vets bill) they informed me that she is not diabetic its a kidney infection. Honestly I feel absolutely cheated and taken advantage off but this clinic and if I had listened to them my cat would be DEAD. Shame on you guys. They even had the nerve to repeatedly call me to check when am I coming in to put down my cat. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE EMERGENCY CASES HERE.

EDIT: After seeing a few other doctors.my cat is on the road to recovery.their diagnosis was COMPLETELY wrong.there was NO NEED for euthanization my cat was suffering from a UTI + a kidney infection. I will be seeking legal action against the doctor and nurses who have still not provided me with an invoice, Its disgusting to think If i had not gotten a second opinion my baby would be dead because of these stupid misinformed doctors.

We’ve seen several vet clinics since my Shih Tzu and I moved to Dubai many years ago. And there are plenty of clinics closer to where we live but we choose to drive all the way to City Vet for our 2 dogs. We have only good things to say about City Vet JVT and Al Wasl. We trust the caring & competent hands of Doctor Stella, Stelios, Isabel and Stefania. These doctors are professional and full of compassion for their patients. They wouldn’t do any procedure unless necessary, so you wouldn’t feel like you’re being robbed every time you take your pets. We are also so grateful to Dr. Stella for helping us with our rescue. Thanks to her, our Chihuahua can now walk properly and live a normal life. The nurses and reception staff are always helpful and friendly. It’s been a good few years for us at City Vet. Thanks for taking such good care of our furbabies.

We’ve been going to City Vet for a few years now. Dr. Stelios & Dr. Stefania have been amazing everytime we take Chico for a visit. Our other furbaby recently needed knee surgery. The orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Stella, performed the surgery and we couldn’t have asked for a better ortho surgeon. Dr. Stella was always there ready to help.

It’s stressful when things go south with the little ones, but it puts our mind at ease knowing they’ll be seeing any one of these doctors. Thank you to Stelios, Stefania, Isabel and Stella Our family really appreciates all of you.

Do not take your pet to this vet!
This vet surgery dropped my 2.5kg cat whilst cat was sedated and put her in cage whilst not advising the vet they had dropped her!
I picked the cat up hours later and was not notified she had injury.
I contacted vet in the evening as my cat could barely walk, back leg was twisted and cat was struggling to hold herself up! And still the nurses did not report it to vet they had dropped her!
I took video and contacted again vet and vet thought it was neurological issue! Still the nurse did not share she had dropped my cat!
After taking another video following morning vet said it wasn’t neurological and that a nurse had dropped the cat so bring her in for a consultation!
Shocking that they left a cat unattended after a fall. My cat is tiny so it must have been some “fall” for her leg to be twisted and unable to walk. Cat is also very placid, I must add!
Cat now has muscle and possible ligament issue in her back leg and has medication for 10 days! Shocking behavior from people you are supposed to trust!
