The Coffee Souq

Ordered a coffee machine with coffee pods. The machine wasn't working and asked for it to be repaired. They came and exchanged with another new one. Now the second machine is also not working. And their coffee is weak and bland! They have now closed their website and am wondering what to do with the coffee machine and the 5 boxes of gusto coffee pods!

I've got nescafe dolce gusto capsule compatible, americano and late macchiato.
Poor quality of coffee, americano taste like water, no even coffee smell, late has weird sweet after taste. Every third capsule is defective, no coffee coming out, only water.

It was a great experience and they are very supportive after sale.even the delivery is very fast.

I've ordered the bundle with different coffe blends (french, italian and brazilian one) the price is great and so was the delivery but the coffee is very watery and weak! When you press the button on the machine it pours water first and then starts pouring coffee! I thought my Nespresso machine was broken but then i bought original Nespresso pods and my coffee was great and non-watery. So i guess their nespresso pods have some issue.

A nice selection of coffee varieties. The coffee capsules however needs to be more packing a punch. Other than that amazing delivery services and good packaging.

Fast delivery, good coffee, able to get organic and compostable capsules. The little gift of a variety of capsules to try, along with a handwritten note was a nice touch. Good customer service.

Like the coffee mainly black and green label of coffelux one as it is strong, taste is very good not bitter and its creamy. Value for money is excellent as it still the cheapest on the market and quality and taste wise waaaaay better than many if I exclude nespresso and lavazza from taste point of view, quality is the same. They do next day delivery and customer service is very responsive. Also there is nice personal touch as a thank you note and nice message provided with couple of free coffee coupsuls with each delivery.

I really want to like the brand but I was disappointed. I ordered Nespresso compatible pods and some of the pods seem to be defective, coffee barely coming out of them (feedback given to management, no action taken). And the coffee is so watered-down, even the lungo variety, there just doesn't seem to be enough coffee inside. I bought 10 different variety, tried all, they are all watered down. It is much cheaper than nespresso that is probably the reason why there isnt enough coffee inside the pods.

One of my favorite coffees, apart from the amazing taste, the customer service is excellent, you will always get reply on the spot, and i was amazed how my order was delivered in less than 4 hours.

The owner of the company are SO SO rude. He kept screaming and he hanged up the phone on me and will not let me speak, only cause I wanted to return my unused low quality coffee capsules.he kept screaming so loud and would not want to help me so he just kept screaming.
So rude and will never order again and I hope you don’t order from them so you don’t experience this rudeness

Very bad, careless customer service. We agreed via whatsapp how the gift should be wrapped and i receive it all in a paper bag. And the message was this- hi, I forgot the ribbon.

Ordered a few of their coffee pods using noon.com The Brazilian Blend, Italian blend, African Organic and African Blend. The coffee is rather weak and I really dont think the pods have 5gms. They are charging less as their coffee is weak or the content is less as after just 20 ml of pulling a pod you can see watery content flowing in the cup.you would need like 3 shots of 20 ml coffee to make a decent coffee. Still prefer the 2 shot nespresso with a higher cost as it overall comes to the same price.

Never going to buy ever again BAD management Bad at handling customer service low quality items and be aware to not buy low quality items that will damage your coffee machine and then have to deal with rude customer service and very rude manager

Ordered at 8am delivered at 10am. The best online shopping experience I have had in the UAE and I have lived here for 8 years. Well done coffee souq team. You just earn a loyal customer

Items (lakirds by burrow) I ordered were 3 weeks from expiring although I paid the full price for them. They informed me that the shelf life in UAE is 10 but its actually 18 and that they are fine for consumption. (which is not true in Europe it is also 10 months) I don't think this company understands that is it not acceptable to sell a product at full price without informing the customer that is so close to expiry. I was then told that 'If I insist' they would change the packages.you just lost a customer. Overall terrible customer service
