We checked into the Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel for 10 days and ate half board in The Market Cafe Restaurant. Everything was perfect from the extensive buffet to the service to the ambience. The staff made a great effort and you could have the table of your choice reserved. I would particularly like to highlight the service person Karan Amit Gadina, who anticipated your every wish, was very friendly and who I would like to rate here with 10/10 points under the heading “breakfast experience and F&B experience”. I would at any time Going to eat there again and can only recommend the Market Cafe. Karan Amit Gadina had organized to have coffee and juices brought to our room at 3: 45 a.m. On the day of departure. Big praise also to all the service staff working there.

I’m already at the table, writing this review after the dinner!
Before dinner, I didn’t know what I was going to experience.
But now, I can’t wait for tomorrow night.
Lots of great food to choose from. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
I was able to make the perfect Persian dish by combining some Arabic and Indian food. ;)
We had a great time.

Food 8/10. Choice 9/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Service was a bit lacking, maybe 5/10. Having experienced high end buffets and restaurants on the palm and downtown, the customer service is a step down from those. Cooks seem irritated if you ask them if they can slightly customize something on the menu or if you have an ingredient that’s not visibly available. Servers pickup plates and glasses without replacing them. You may have to be proactive in getting your cutlery and such. In short, would definitely return given the large food choice for an unbeatably good price, but keep my service expectations slightly low.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt on a half board basis and had to eat at this restaurant for dinner. I use the word ‘had’ deliberately as we did not think the food was up to scratch. Indeed, many days we chose to eat elsewhere in Dubai and forgo eating here as it was simply underwhelming.

While the staff were pleasant, friendly and interacted with patrons well. The selection and quality of the food was not on par with what we expected of a decent 5* hotel. The poolside food was significantly better than Market Cafe.

Another annoying part was the slow service and having to wait for replenishment of items. Invariably, you’d finish dinner or be thereabouts before items were replenished. The timings of between 6-8pm were restrictive too especially as they items would not be replenished in the last 30 mins

I would not choose half board at Grand Hyatt again if it meant we had to dine here

Staff are very friendly and approachable. We would like to commend Rabi Husain Venoth and Rox for their assistance and service.the food was good and rich, comfortable atmosphere, we really loved our stay here.

Staff are very friendly and approachable. We would like to commend Faiz and Liza for their assistance and service. Both are very pro active and very helpful. Always smiling despite of busy restaurant. Food was great but minimal selection of main course. Overall - amazing experience.

Excellent place for breakfast and dinner. Super clean 5 stars. Service outstanding with amazing food quality and variety.
Waiters are Excellent in there service and make your experience worth every penny.

Great place to have breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and has lots of varieties. Everything was tasty and you can be sure that you’ll leave this place with a happy tummy. The staff made it much more special as we were always given a warm welcome and provided with wonderful service especially the staff named ABHI and RABI. They even surprised us with a slice of cake on the day of our check-out. What a nice gesture from them. We will definitely come back!

A must visit restaurant for all! Went there for breakfast and dinner and it was fabulous! Plus special thanks to the staff (Sajid, cristy, haitam & shahadat) who made sure everything at our table before hand!

We had a stay Grand Hyart Dubai for 2 days. We had half board, so that means four trip to this restaurant. The staff was SUPERB! SAJID, CRISTY, SHAHADAT & HAITHAM were fantabulous. The food was amazing so was the service. The selection of food was good. Just had to wait to be seated and then every thing is taken over by staff.amazing

Terrible breakfast buffet for a five star, lack of variety and quality and over crowded.

Hotel rooms, apartment and other amenities specially he SPA a five star but when it comes to the breakfast it’s a total disappointment.

Christmas Eve dinner out. Amazing service from all the staff. On point and attentive. Good range of food. Pizza was out of this world! Amazing experience.

Nice location. Delicious meals. Great are the friendly people. Prashanth just to mention one of them was very nice.

I would like to share the experience I had in this restaurant. The staff there are very nice and approachable especially Ms. Cristy, Mr. Erwin and Mr. Veneet are excellent at doing their job. The ambiance is quite. I cannot even describe how much I love the place. And the foods are THE BOMB. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

My family, friends and I have been staying here at the Grand Hyatt for the past week. Each morning, we are always warmly greeted by the lovely staff at the Collective by Market Cafe.
We would like to specially thank Josuva for always being hospitable and accommodating to our requests. He always checked up on us to make sure that we were satisfied or in need of something. We wholeheartedly appreciate his wonderful help. On our last morning, he surprised us with a beautiful, special crepe order! It was delicious!
We would also like to thank Mabel for her warm kindness. Conversing with her felt as if we were talking to an old friend from back home. Finally, a large thank you to Mamir for my delicious soy lattes! They were perfect, and I always looked forward to my coffee.
Our overall experience was nothing short of excellent. I would recommend this restaurant buffet to anyone traveling to Dubai. We hope to visit again in the future, mahalo.

We stayed at grand hyatt for 4 days n stay was amazing because of food and hospitality as well.

Was shocked to the quality of the food, this used to be a nice place for seafood nights, to my surprise they changed the entire buffet to a lower guality food and kept the premium price, not worth the drive or the money
