The Cycle Hub (Motocity)

Cozy small café with bike shop with high end brands. A hub for bikers and a good place for a casual coffee. They also have food menu but I haven't tried it yet.

I recently visited the cycle hub, who is owned and managed by a fantastic group of people. They are kind, generous and, cycle experts.

The cycle hub is the distributor for Specialized bicycles, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional.

From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere of the shop was different, this is not your typical retail but a blend of modern aesthetic with an amazing restaurant focused on a selected Paleo menu.

The range of Specialized bikes on display was impressive, catering to all levels of cyclists, from beginners to professionals. Each model was showcased with detailed information, allowing customers to understand the unique features and technologies that set Specialized apart.

What truly set this shop apart was the staff's expertise and customer service. The team (Malik and Sam the manager and chief in charge) was not only knowledgeable about the Specialized brand but also showed a genuine passion for cycling and assisting us to choose the best option. They were attentive, taking the time to understand our needs and preferences, which made me feel valued as a customer. Their recommendations were spot-on, demonstrating a deep understanding of both the product range and the sport.

Additionally, the shop offered a variety of cycling gear and accessories, all of high quality, ensuring that customers can find everything they need under one roof.

Truly recommend it to all and a remarkable gem and the brightest spot in the sea of sameness of their competition.

Luqman was amazing! One of our saddle Allen screws had threaded and he searched through the whole shop to find a replacement for us. He replaced the screw and sent us on our way. Great customer experience

Have used the shop for years and it goes from strength to strength. Would give 7 stars if Google would allow. Only bike shop I will use in Dubai. Knowledgeable staff, who guide the buying or servicing experience to meet your needs. Great stock levels means most stuff is immediately available off the shelf. This applies to high end road bikes (me and my wife) as well as "kids" bikes from small to 18 years of age.

I have always used Cycle Hub as my cycle dealer even if there are so many bike shops here in Dubai. I can really recommend them and especially JR. He is very knowledgeable and service oriented.

I had bought my daughters rip Rock 16 in to get a pair of stabilisers and J. R was super helpful and went over and beyond to get a pair of stabilisers from a display product for sale and ordered a new pair for themselves so my daughter could have it ASAP. Unfortunately I have been more than disappointed with cycle hub over the last 12 months. Most of the times, staff is not asking whether they can assist even if the shop is empty. When asking them for help they seem busy somewhere else or simply not interested. Similar experiences both at the Motor City and Jumeirah branch. So today I decided not to buy my new bike at cycle hub but at the shop next door and ordered my new Tacx Neo online directly at garmin. Also at a point where my shiv, roubaix and epic will be serviced somewhere else. So sad.

We went to the store with my wife's new bike to purchase and have fitted a rear bike shelf to hold a child seat that we had already bought from a friend.
The techs looked at the child's seat we brought and informed us we didn't need to buy a shelf from them. They then fitted the child's seat. I tried to give them some money for their time but they didn't accept it!
This is an example of traditional customer service.
Their open and honesty is something that I appreciate. I will be returning to these guys in the future.

Go for the food not the bike service. About 2-3 years ago I stopped taking my (Sworks) bike to Cycle Hub for service as it seemed every visit I would have to bring it back to have something corrected from the service they had just provided. I thought I would give them another try as I noticed a big improvement on the front end service. I purchased the premium service package, and new tubeless tires to be installed, new chain and rear cassette. When I received my bike back and took it for a test ride the next day before a weekend of hill climbs, I noticed the front derailleur was not working! It was not checked before returning my bike, the blue tooth was not connecting. After getting that sorted, I then noticed loud noises coming from the bottom bracket and rear hub when going hard so I returned my bike yet again. I picked up my bike and went for another test ride. The power meter was dead. I replaced the battery twice and still the power meter would not send data to my bike computer. There is a chance that it dying right after they worked on my bike could be a coincidence, but even that is the case the rear hub is still making loud creaking noises that it never did before they serviced the bike. I am travelling outside of Dubai for the summer, training for 2 major races so I have had to replace the power meter. I will not be bringing my bike back to Cycle Hub again for service. 0 stars for the bike repair service, 3 stars for the guys that work out front, 4 stars for the restaurant.

Ever since I visited The Cycle Hub store in Motor City, had a consistently great experience, in terms of customer care, brands, products. Despite me not guaranteeing that I would buy a bicycle from TCH, their customer orientation, focus was as high as it was when I visited them first instance. My interaction with their Sales team member Alex Martin was super pleasant, his product knowledge and customer focus were delightful. Post-sales, I had couple of challenges which I had to clarify with him and he made those look so simple! I would absolutely recommend The Cycle Hub to anyone, as the "Go to" store, should one be looking for bicycles, gear, accessories.

My experience with The Cycle Hub has been nothing short of tremendous! Not only have I purchased the best bike on the planet (Pinarello Dogma F). But more importantly I've had an excellent customer service experience w/Abdallah Abbas. He was very meticulous with my requirements, always with honest advice and support. I live in Oman and the fact that I did all my purchases and liaised with Abdallah through emails and calls up until I got my bike delivered to Muscat shows the great professionalism of The Cycle Hub. Thank you Abdallah!

Cool place to look for bikes and upgrades.
Its got a cafe of its own. A nice bikers hang out.
They sell high end bikes. Attentive staff too.

Went to buy B&W case box II today which was at 1700 AED in last December.
Current price in shop today has been raised up to 2200 AED
Went to Wolfi same day and it is at 1699 AED

Great bike place with great people to talk about not only selling. It was my first visit and I really impressed the way they deal with customers. I asked a simple question for a bike component and it took a very long and very informative discussion on cycling. Thanks to Abdallah for his attention and knowledge on cycling. The ambiance is perfect for any before and after ride relaxation. Staff is well accommodating and they have a wide range of high quality bike selection.

Very professional staff namely Almier, Haydarah and JR. They wait at the entrance and dont leave u untill very satisfied. All parts of my bike were readily available off the shelf. When I later on wanted to have the bike fitted professionally, JR spent more than half an hour adjusting.

My experience has been always good with this place the staff is so friendly and attentive specially the manager Mr. Simon always around to advise on bikes, related questions or any other merchandise related queries too. I have recommended this place to so many of my friends. Also the best thing about this place is they have such an amazing bistro under the same roof.

Great shop for every cyclist. Very knowledgeable people. The repair service is second to none and if you need a bike fitting I fully recommend them. Not to mention the bistro serving keto style food. Very healthy abs tasty.

The place is well organized, clean and you can easily find cycling items you need. Though some items in the Cycle Hub are expensive, others are quite expensive, that is because their product quality is good and would definitely give you excellent performance. I love their cycling kit (cycling jerseys and bib shorts). I am a first time cyclist (newbie) and I like the service I am getting from The Cycle Hub. The staff are friendly, very attentive and would recommend cycling items that are suitable for you. The Hub, also has mechanics who fix, clean and check bikes conditions before and after use. Moreover, they have bike rentals for those who want to rent only. I had an amazing experience and would definitely keep coming back whenever I need good items for my bicycle.

I, myself has already started for a road cycling. In fact, recently I have already bought and received my own brand new Specialized bike. Indeed, I am a satisfied customer of The Cycle Hub and would definitely recommend to others.

Bought my first road bike last week at Cycle Hub Motor City. Junior was extremely helpful. He was very patient with me and answered all my silly questions. All in all great service and amazing bikes.

This is a busy place that has a great team. Louise was so eager to help and to follow up with all the cycling clothing I tried. Martin was really helpful with selling and recommending a cassette for my indoor trainer. The technical team is awesome. The marketing manager was also there to take comments and feedback from customers

Team were amazing helping get me and my daughters bikes sorted after the summer stored in the shed. Great for the weekend fun cyclist as well as those that know what they are doing.
