The George Hotel by Saffron, Dubai Creek

Nice hotel New and modern Spacious rooms, bathroom amenities and cleaning every day, exactly as many towels as required, and not one for all parts of the body, changed every day Water, tea, sugar, coffee, cream - daily, super Carpeting in the room and on the floor is excellent so as not to constantly hear the sound of luggage wheels of tourists entering and leaving. The only pity is that there are no balconies. But everything is great!

Nice view from room. But you can't open window due to local authority policy.overall stay is good

The location and staff are good and cooperative. But When it comes to the room and comfort, I would rate it 0. Mattress of the bed was a huge disappointment. Besides this size of the bed was not proper enough for 2 persons with a kid to sleep comfortably. There's a smell in the room of the old building. Noise from the bar club would definitely not allow you to sleep comfortably. So next time, I would definitely not gonna come again.

I just arrived here on the 5th of Nov and by mistake booked a room for 6 nights. I travel a lot and been in Dubai many times. This is my official trip and after seeing good reviews, booked at this Hotel. All important things are not here. Biggest mistake.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The George Hotel by Saffron Dubai Creek, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a willingness to make my stay as enjoyable as possible.
Upgrade to Suite Room
Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite room. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a beautiful view of the Dubai Creek and Burj Khalifa from Room 804. I was particularly impressed with the comfortable bed and the luxurious bathroom.
Amazing Buffet Breakfast
The hotel's buffet breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. The spread was extensive and included a variety of both international and local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries, the omelets made to order, and the Arabic tea.
Polite and Helpful Staff
The staff at The George Hotel by Saffron Dubai Creek was exceptional. They were always polite, helpful, and eager to go the extra mile. They were also very knowledgeable about Dubai city and were able to provide me with recommendations for things to see and do.
In-Room Service with Dinner Menu
I took advantage of the hotel's in-room dining service a few times during my stay, and I was always impressed with the quality of the food. The menu was extensive and included a variety of both international and local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the chicken masala and the lamb biryani and chicken rice.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay at The George Hotel by Saffron Dubai Creek, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable place to stay in Dubai.
Here are some of the things I particularly liked about the hotel:

The hotel was located in a convenient location close to many attractions.

Rooms are dated though huge. In need of upgrading facilities.
Near to metro (5 mins walk).
Sleep quality is bad due to noise from water pipes and club (if you stay low
Floor).

The room is clean and spacious but the bathroom is a bit rusty.
We stayed in this hotel for relaxation but we we're awakened at 3 o'clock in the morning due to loud noises in the room next to us and we could smell cigarette smoke as our room is connected to their room. We stayed awake up to 5 o'clock in the morning because of their loud voices and they kept banging their door. They seemed having drinking session in the room and a lot of guests were coming in their room.

Ideal for solo or group vacationers. Spacious rooms are provided, though it's not recommended for families with children due to the absence of a swimming pool. Hotel parking is available for 50 AED full day. While the room view and ambiance is pleasant, the rooms aren't soundproof, so external noise may be heard. Parking is also extremely difficult in the area.

I really love the location of the place. Rooms are also very clean and specious. We stayed there for long 1 week. But it was amazing stay

Good things first:

Located near Metro, moderately priced and access to nearby Souk and creek area.

Rooms were big enough and clean.

Breakfast quality was good

Bad things:

Bathroom has no water outlet, so if water spills on floor, its flooded!

Wifi sucks. If you are there for business/work, forget using their wifi.

Saving kit and dental kit, shampoo, etc only available upon request and the quality is very basic. I had to arrange soap, shampoo, handwash from nearby market.

Towels are small.

Number lock of safe was broken, unusable.

Breakfast does not have much variety.

Overall, a good budget hotel near creek.

Everything was decent expect washrooms, hotel is pretty old, washroom always had leakage issue. Every time I need to call the service to fix it. Overall a good hotel to stay near Gold souq and spice souq with river view

The best part of this hotel is location. It's at walkable distance to the creek and to Al Ras Metro station. Behind it is the spice market and Gold soul, again walkable. The rooms have standard amenities that you can expect. Since it's a old property the bathrooms are rustic I would say. However the service isn't very great, you can expect delays and rudeness some times.

No good service, no clean. The hotel from the outside looks good but from the inside The staff is good espcly profall and imrAnn. Reception day supervisor is always shouting in the lobby with other guests and shouted at me once. He is not suitable for a manager/administrator. Bellboy Nahim and Basir have no sense or manners. I waited half an hour to check out. 3 times called to reception. The hotel bell boy tells me. Not you only guest and other guest who also needs to check out. You Can wait 5 minutes, no problem, what a behavior with guest. Awwwww.not well trained staff.during check out i didn't tell anything in reception.i never come again. I also inform my friends.

التعامل جيد لكن الغرفه ضيقة والموقع مزدحم جدا جدا ولا توجد كواقف مخصصة للفندق جميعها مواقف خاضعه للرسوم والسعر لا يستاهل مع الخدمة

Shall be without any stars, first time with me in 17 years in dubai, baddest customer service from the manager of hotels, shouting and fighting with all customers in lobby hotels, I’m using UAEICP App which includes my ID and my resident visa, he insists to have the original, we are in the 2023 and we use mobiles/ APP which covered under police and UAE government to enhance the technology which UAE is first abound all countries in the area, this hotel if it’s another’s country i will understand his request but in dubai is strange, not recommended mainly for communication skills, we coming to take rest and enjoy our vacation not to fight, as manager level he shall know how to communicate and solve problems not create rules and stick on it, you are in service sectors not in shop.

I'm writing to express my disappointment.with the experience, the situation inside is that Firstly, the washrooms are complete bad and dirty, the staff behavior is very rude with customers, main things are stolen and also we were facing issue in parking. I expected to receive a certain level of service and unfortunately, my expectations were not met.

Nice Budget Friendly Hotel near the Creek Area.

We stayed in a Premier Room on 8th floor facing Eastern Side (View Attached).

Good service and breakfast.

Main advantage is that the hotel is located at walkable distance to Al Ras Metro Station, Ferry station, Gold Souk etc.
