THE KANA CAFE / BUSINESS BAY

One of the cool Sheesha cafes near downtown Dubai in the heart of Business bay. I loved the newly opened Kana Garden in their business bay cafe. Great place for Outdoors with canal view. I really liked it but not giving 5 stars as their service is really slow. Specially during weekends they don’t really seem to have an idea of orders
Orders take a lot of time to come
They don’t really pay attention
Sheesha is good
Food is good
Service is below average
Ambiance is great
NEGATIVE: THEY DONT HAVE SHEESHA FILTERS WHICH IS A BIG BIG QUESTION…WHY
almost all the Sheesha places in dubai provide filters
P.s they do have Paan flavours but you have to ask for it as it’s not mentioned in menu

The mama cafe business bay is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy some quality time after a long day at work or on a weekend. They have great food and shisha. Their service is usually fast and reliable but this one time they ignored us I hope they take this in consideration and when someone ask for a blanket because they are cold they bring them in priority order.

Comfy lounge, the food was reasonable priced, can get crowded at times due to which the service suffers.

Terrible service. I had asked for a lake side table and they refused, but gave the table to another couple. I'm not sure of the reason for this bias.
And the fries we received were also cold.

I went there with my beloved ️ tonight and we had a great time together. View and food were fantastic! My order was taking a bit more time than I expected.

The Kana cafe has become one of the more prominent places in Business Bay and it has many things going for it like its size, its atmosphere, the nice seating, its location but for me Kana has never been my place because I don't smoke Shisha and during my last visit I was also disappointed by the juice I ordered?

If you are looking for a vibrant place in Business Bay, I would still recommend the Kana cafe

A very nice cafe with relaxing atmosphere. One can do work or relax with drinks, food or sheesha. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available. A nice cozy sofas available in indoor seating. The paid parking is available just beside the cafe. Price on the higher side but considering the location, it is acceptable.

I realy like like this Cafe, very good service and shisha, the food is very tasty, and the staff are very friendly

I wanted to give this place half a star but one was the least I could give. We visited this place last night for dinner. It was the worst experience. Anything we ordered took more than an hour to get to the table. The grill chicken was bland and like a brick. The sheesha had absolute no flavor, it was literally charcoal smoke. The service is so poor even though they have an army of servers and this was when there weren’t many customers as well. They mistook our order and the coffee’s, drinks and lasagna's took more than an hour to come. They wouldn’t even bother to get the cutlery or tissues. When we asked for the manager, he did not even bother to come to our table. The only thing that they were really quick at was getting the bill.

Met a friend here for shisha, nice chilled vibes - got drinks and had a catch up.
Will be back in future to sample more of the menu.

Bad service and shisha also the one who is responsible for welcoming and seating the people was not welcoming

I like the place very much, sheesha and food is very good, plus you can find a place as per your mood, side silent area, or a much more charged crowd side area.

Dineer and shisha with good price, atmosphere is excellent, gonna be my hub for any work related meetings, thank to weiter Mohammed and Saad and Abu Ali their supervisor for nice hospitality and nice service

Happy and filling.portions of the food were big.a single person cannot finish it.it was tasty as well including the drinks.

Buisness bay branch is massive and interior is amazing ambience is awesome food is good staff is active and friendly but shisha is just ok. After 40-45 mins flavour is burned. This happened to me is all my 9 visits in month of june 2022.

Super cool ambiance, Vibrant and lively.place has possitive vibes of energetic people. The was quite full but still got served in a giffy. The service is gud. Had lamb chops, saland and lemon and mint with honey

The waiter at kalamenteen restaurant is really worse. He told us to go out of restaurant. I am attaching his photo below. He is blocking all the customers who come to restaurant. Acting rude

Cafe is good but staff is aggressive with body language and staff keep directing to other chairs even though it existing one is not booked

Terrible service. The server took 15 min to bring the menus and after she brought the food she never came back yp check on us or even bring the bill. The Food wasnt good either. The only good things were the smoothies.

I think today is one of the worst days in The Kana Café, which is located in Business Bay, Dubai, and also one of the worst cafés in terms of service is The Kana Coffee.
First: I came today at 2: 30 AM to eat Suhoor and spend time with 2 of my foreign friends. Our third friend came, so we were four in total. At first, I asked for the menu to be given to me by the waiter, which was full of mayonnaise, and he came at my hand!
Second: Two of those who were working in the place dropped the dishes near our feet, as they wanted to take all the dirty dishes at one time and this thing annoyed everyone
Third: When I ordered a shrimp risotto while I was sitting with my friends, one of the employees came to me and ordered in a (travel) bag, or in other words, send or take away. At first, I thought that he was wrong on the table, but to discover that it was indeed my order, but what does that mean? Leave from you or is this a parcel and I came to eat Suhoor here! I was very, very, very embarrassed by this position and rejected it.
Fourth: They brought me my meal on a plate after that, with risotto minutes with shrimp, and its price is 65 dirhams, but without spoons or forks. When I asked them how I could eat, the employee pointed out the fork and spoon that my friend had! What is that? Act? Are we in THE KANA CAFE in BUSINESS BAY Are we really in exchange for the Burj Khalifa and this service provided?
Fifth: And my friend was a student (pasta) and told them to add one piece of bread to him before ordering. The order came with the invoice. When the account was paid, my friend asked for a piece of bread. One of the employees replied that unfortunately the bread was finished today, and the second came and told him I will bring it to you And the employee who holds the account told us that the account was closed and there is no bread now, come tomorrow and we will give you 3 pieces of bread! How far have we come, Kofi Kana? I don't know from what I'm talking and what to say, but it was only 3: 30 in the morning when we left the place and the account or it was paid in full, where they only said a lot to themselves with the word (Syrian sorry) meaning sorry only after all this you did and the poor service and treatment are satisfied with the word "Sorry" And this is my first time in the place and the last time, and this story happened today in Kana Coffee in Business Bay in Dubai at the time of Suhoor in Ramadan on the date of April 17,2022 from Sunday morning between 2: 30 am to 3: 30 am. This is an alert to all. Thank you, and this is also my experience with them, unfortunately.
اعتقد اليوم انه من اسوء الايام داخل مقهى ذا كانا الموجود في البزنس باي دبي و ايضا من اسوء الكافيهات في الخدمة المقدمة هو عند ذا كانا كوفي.
اولا: اتيت اليوم في الساعة 2: 30 AM لتناول السحور وقضاء الوقت مع 2 من اصدقائي الاجانب واتى صديقنا الثالث فمجموعنا اربع و في البداية طلبت المينوو ليعيطيني اياه الجرسون وهو ممتلى بالمايونيز واتى على يدي!
ثانيا: اثنان من الذين كانوا يعملون في المكان اوقعو الصحون بالقرب من ارجلنا حيث انهم يريديون ان يأخذو كل الاطباق المتسخة في وقت واحد وهذا الشي ضايق الكل
ثالثا: حينما قمت بطلب وجبة ريسيتو بالربيان وانا جالس برفقة اصدقائي اتى الي احد الموظفين وطلبي في كيس (سفري) او بمعنى اخر بارسل او بمعنى تيك اواي take away فالبداية ضننت إنه مخطأ في الطاولة لكن لاكتشف انه بالفعل هذه طلبيتي ولكن ما معنى ذلك اتودوني ان ارحل من عندكم ام هذه طردة و انا اتا لتناول السحور هنا! انحرجت كثيرا جدا جدا جدا من هذا الموقف ورفضته.
رابعا: احضروا لي وجبتي في صحن بعد ذلك الموقف بدقايق (الريسيتو) بالروبيان وسعره 65 درهم لكن من دون ملاعق او شوكة و حين سؤالي لهم كيف لي ان ااكل اشارت الموظفة الى الشوكة والملعقة التي مع صديقي! ماهذا ؟ التصرف ؟ هل نحن في THE KANA CAFE in BUSINESS BAY هل نحن فعلا في مقابل برج خليفة وهذه الخدمة المقدمة ؟
خامسا: وصديقي كان طالبا (باستا) و اخبرهم بان يزيدوه حبة واحدة من رغيف الخبز قبل الطلب واتت الطلبية و معها الفاتورة و عندما تم دفع الحساب وسال صديقي عن قطعة رغيف خبز اجابه احد الموظفين بانه انتهى للاسف اليوم الخبز و اتى الثاني واخبره سوف احضره لك والموظفة التي تحمل الحساب

Total chaos to order shisha and the waiter didn't make the order and I was waiting 35 minutes to bring it and turned out that he didn't make the order.

The food quality was good, but service is really slow. There are so many waiters in this restaurant, but still you will have to look and wait for someone who can assist you regarding food or other queries.

Nicely decorated.
Plenty of TV allowed you to watch football with comfort
Food is tasty, but not kunafa.
