The Lime Tree Cafe & Kitchen

I would like to share me feedback about Lime tree cafe .
I love their ambiance and their station with cookies and fudges, but I noticed it became more sweet then it used to be ,
Food was very good and good quality and sizes of their portions even enough for two)
We also took their cakes and was little bit disappointed as again it is too sweet , we did not even finish half of our cakes.

Chicken tikka masala was out of this world 0/10
Shakahuka only had one egg and lots of tomatoes. I just had a 55 AED tomato paste. 0/10
Chicken tikka sandwich was horrible 0/10
Orange juice was made from unripe oranges. 0/10

Atmosphere was good and cafe was fancy. 2/10

Way overpriced for the quality of food served. Will not come back.

I was here at Lime Tree Café Al Quoz and I must say the standard of food is still well maintained and the staff and their service was amazing. It was raining heavily so the Manager Shering was very kind and accommodating and gave us a great recommendation of food and beverage. Enjoyed alot and I want to return back.

Absolutely delightful experience at the Lime Tree Cafe and Kitchen in Al Quoz. The ambiance at the courtyard sets a peaceful tone, making it a perfect escape in the heart of the city. We indulged in the Classic Burger which was succulent and perfectly seasoned, while the Shrimp Plate was a tantalizing blend of flavors that left us craving for more. Highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone seeking culinary excellence.

Had queens breakfast… it was nice… cappuccino was also nice… good place for breakfast and brunch… my wife ordered the cheddar and tomato scone, which i tried for the first time and really liked it.i think each table of theirs should have a separate pepper and salt shakers

For many years I’ve been coming to Lime Tree Cafe to have their triple chocolate brownie with an espresso on the side. Divine!

I would recommend that this establishment takes requests for decaf seriously to avoid sleepless 4am revenge reviews. We were hoping to get some work done but the music is awful and way too loud, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, the cakes are sickly sweet and stale and the decaf coffee comes with an incognito lethal dose of caffeine.

2 s for potential. 0 s for how I felt when having food in this cafe earlier today. If it was only me I would have gotten up and left as soon as I saw flies flying around all over the place, but i was with a colleague and didn’t wanna create negative vibes; I ordered waffles which btw were yummy. However, when I finished eating, noticed those small ants that are attracted by sugar and sweets which were crawling on the floor and even onto my leg, possibly on the wooden table too. Sanitary standards are questionable therefore I won’t be eating in this place again.

When ever we are near. Thus is the place that has us inside. Fabulous for the family. Super food

The chicken tikka wasn’t properly cooked. The carrot salad was good.

Open inviting cafe - with a decent outdoor seating for the winters - serving decent food. Seems like an excellent place for a relaxed breakfast with family or friends on the weekend.

Their coffees are made using beans from Boon Coffee Roasters (one can also buy packaged coffee - roasted by Boon)

I had the flat white to go - needs a little bit of work (milk frothing)

Overall a nice breakfast or lunch place.

I enjoyed a quiche with Americano, both were 8/10. There's a very comfortable and relaxed seating on the coach near the window - apart from that I found the rest of the interior a bit too stuffy, I needed more visual air.
They have children chairs, which is great.

Not that friendly as other branches but amazing food as everywhere. Had to clean up our table first

Food is good and staff are friendly, only problem is that tables are mostly dirty, need to ask for cleaning and food crumbles are all over the seats

This place is right next to the courtyard playground. We were actually looking to go to the courtyard but the dining place was a bit loud and we just walked around and this place looked very inviting. The food were really good and the service was excellent. We didn’t try desert because we were already at closing time by the time we finished, but it also looked really appetising.

Asked if the childrens chicken had milk in it, was told no. Took 30 minutes to come
out and as my son was eating the waiter ran out and said “oh it has milk in it! ” They tried to replace it quickly…15 minutes later nothing. All chicken here has dairy in it. My son has had a bad tummy all night now. Luckily he had only a small piece… could have been worse if they hadn’t stopped us mid meal. If you work in a restaurant please please ensure you know what the food contains!

The food is lovely, but be prepared to WAIT.a long time! It took almost 40 mins to bring a scoopful of the salad on display to our table.

Completely forgot about my wife’s breakfast. What was supposed to be a Saturday out turned into relay eating.

The food is good, but it’s the last time I’ll come here.

Poached egg was totally overcooked (despite them asking and me saying medium). Benedict has hollandaise sauce which was almost non existent on the plate. Potato to egg ratio totally off. This place used to be my favorite, not anymore. Food quality has come down tremendously, sad.

Food looks good but the sicilian pasta was bland. Wild Berry tea tastes fresh but in a weird way. Won't come back.

My first visit to this place and definitely the last. Very poor service and attitude. The waiters ignore you when you call at them to ask for something and in my case it was the wifi connection. Sat here for 2 hours and it was a waste of my time. Every time i asked about the wifi, they pretend they didn’t hear me calling and then they say that they are restarting it. I now understand why this place is empty.

Had the beef pie and ordered a side of "fat chips"

The beef pie was ok, but pastry was soggy, not flaky or crisp. Filling was dry, no sauce/gravy.

The "fat chips" were nether chips, or wedges! Soggy & greasy that did not add much fulfilment.

Should stick to the cakes, but they seem to have jumped up in price also!

A great place to hang out. Outdoor seating is available and the food, as always fresh and yummy.
A nice choice of sweet or savory with a great selection of coffees and fresh fruit juice.

Everything is the same but the service. They downgraded the service. Slow, incompetent, sassy. Shame, it was such a good place.

Hidden jewel of Dubai. More than five years here. Haven't found that many AWESOME places with exceptional good, interior and prices. Tried beef pie, hash browns, bagel with salmon and avocado on the side. 10/10. Portions are big, so don't order too much. Took a second pie for takeaway.

They are famous for the carrot cake. It is a must to try. They have nice selection of food and deserts.they have also healthy options like salads and some healthy sandwiches. Their coffee is good. I tried cappuccino and double espresso It is easy to find parking in front of Lime tree.
Be careful that they close early around 5 pm.

Of course the Courtyard located beside this cafe is stylish and is highlight of the area. But this Limetree Cafe is also stylish enough to rival it. Spacious dining hall and delicious coffee itself are the winners!

Got the mince pies.they were too sweet for me.couldn’t enjoy them as much as I would’ve liked. The pies were mostly crushed by the time I got them

Flies everywhere! Rude & poor service, overpriced food for average taste. Wouldn’t come back

Food is good- the vanilla lavender gluten free cake was refreshingly light and delicious. Liked the Christmas items for sale.

An example of an old dubai business keeping up with the times. Been going here for years and had frequent ladies coffee morinngs. Good coffee, good cakes. Healthy options also available. Great atmosphere. 5*

Not so good experience to be honest.
Unfortunately I can't eat any dairy or eggs so the menu was very limited.
I have asked the waiter at the counter if he can exchange cream cheese with avocado but he insisted that he must charge extra for that. I got very much disappointed and decided not to have any. Its sad when the place was almost empty and personel is not willing to do exceptions to meet guest needs resulting me never coming back to this cafe. Apparently they must be doing too good

I love this place and I'm happy it's pet friendly.the food is delish they really put some soul into it.

Good and tasty food. Service was fast. Would’ve like another umbrella outside but hopefully next time all the umbrellas will be up. We will be back. Oh yes, and the carrot cake is still to die for since 2001!

I kind of didn’t like it from the beginning (mostly because of the busy street and rarely a parking spot) but i have to say that it’s a consistent high quality place. The new sandwich with turkey, apricot jam and brie is out of this world - unbelievably tasty and balanced, i hope it will stay in the menu. Banana cake - one of a kind. Professional staff, nice chill music. This is definitely a good place to have a healthy lunch and a treat.

Cant go wrong with this place. Great food and desserts. Most known for their carrot cake. One of Dubai's favourite delis.

I love the breakfast, lunch and cakes. They are family friendly and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Try the smoothies and cakes, stop buy for gifts for birthdays and their mulled wine packets for Christmas time get snapped up as soon as they go on sale. Good quality food, good quality product and service makes it a great restaurant that we keep going back to.

A great place to chill and find piece. Great food portions and an amazing cake selection.

The 5 stars goes for thier carrot cake, I personally did not like the other dishes however I thinks it a great place for cake and coffee.

I can recommend this place if you want to stand in a queue to order your food and coffee in order to get a number that you will have to display on your table. I would also recommend it if you like pretty slightly overpriced small servings. Food is ok tho, it is a fancy MC Donalds.

We’ve been to the Lime Tree a number of times and generally had a good experience, however, our last experience was a poor experience. The lady serving us was rude and not helpful and we ordered soft eggs that arrived
as hard. They replaced the eggs after 5 minutes but didn’t think to apologise! All in all not a great experience

Great place to hand out with friends or just do your work. Good organic and healthy food options

This particular branch is not my favorite, but I do love The Lime Tree Cafe. My favorite is getting an assortment of their delicious spiced biscuit shapes, and their chocolate buscuits with Smarties are an absolute must, it comes in a beautiful container. I would be happy getting that as a gift. There's more, if buscuits won't cut it they sell all sorts of other beautiful pieces, finding a gift for someone special is easy. Food can be either a hit or miss but I always enjoy the decore and vibe.

Always a great selection, everything is fresh and organic, prepared for a hearty meal, cooked home style. Stop by with kids, as the kids menu is always super friendly, too.

Love going there for amazing gluten free desserts. The green smoothie is great along with the best ever carrot cake in Dubai!
