I purchased “ Louis Vuitton” wallet from The Luxury Closet, but after receiving it, I knew that it is very obviously fake. I contacted them and I got following reply “Kindly note that every item listed on the website is 100% authentic and we give a lifetime guarantee of its authenticity“ I went to the local LV store to get a letter proving that wallet is fake, but I was told that store do not issue authenticity letters. So I made photos of this wallet and highlighted wrong letter fonts as well as photo of peeled off cheap plastic instead of the leather lining and I sent it to The Luxury Closet with request of their own assessment. I got a reply that their team will look into it and reply in 24-48 hours. Weeks past since and no response and I do not expect it anymore as I do not trust The Luxury Closet. I wasted hundreds of USD fir fake wallet! So after no reply from them, I have to warn potential clients, that although The Luxury Closet might sell some genuine merchandise, they also sell fake goods and they do not honor lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
Hope that these published photos of fake vs real will help others to authenticate themselves as LV uses very specific and always the same fonts and genuine leather inside canvas wallets. The look and feel of real LV canvas is very different of stiff and heavy plastic imitating canvas.
Update: And now, they replied here to my review that they do not know order number and my details, but at the same time they replied to me via e- mail than Louis Vuitton changed their fonts and that wallet is authentic. They got the same photos with order number. This only proves what I wrote above about their “ 100% authenticity guarantee”

I have been following up for month to get my item. After they confirmed the shipping they stopped replying to my email, they didn't reply on Instagram nor whatsapp. Today I still haven't received my item back
It seems that once you send them your item you are not able to change your mind.

My experience with "The Luxury Closet" was incredibly frustrating. They offered me only 35% of what the buyer paid for my luxury items, keeping the remaining 65% for themselves.

Their customer service was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in my concerns. It felt like they cared more about making money than serving customers.

To make matters worse, the whole process took way too long, making me feel like they were stalling to delay payment.

For the benefit of everyone's awareness, I feel compelled to share my recent experience with "The Luxury Closet, " and unfortunately, it has left much to be desired in terms of professionalism. Regrettably, I entrusted them with a valuable dress worth 5,000 Euros, which they priced at 2,000 AED. To my dismay, the dress was returned to me in a damaged state, and it became evident that the damage had occurred while it was in their possession.

Despite my efforts to escalate the issue and lodge complaints, I have yet to receive any form of communication or resolution from them. This situation has been highly frustrating, and I hope to spare others from a similar ordeal.

If you value your belongings and wish to avoid the distressing experience I've endured, I strongly urge you to consider my feedback

Stay away from this company. Their terms are against the sellers, they will be reducing the prices till almost zero for high brands. Their commission is almost 100%. When you withdraw the items you have to pay and it will take weeks to get it back. They also have the right to donate the items if it’s not refunded within a month. Be aware of that!

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from The Luxury Closet and everything was excellent. I got the exact same shoes just the way it looked on the app/website if not better than described which is another reason to buy again.

The photos were taken in so much detail that it helped me save time in choosing the perfect pair.

As you can see, there’s so many fake reviews here. The style of the writing is all the same.

I haven’t met anyone happy with this company. Everyone told me to stay away.
• The items are mistreated, mine were damaged in their facility, one was returned crushed and the other broken on two separate occasions.
• items take more than a year on average to sell -this is consistent with everyone I’ve spoken to.
• items are misdescribed in the listings. Same issue other people had. They list flaws and damages that are not present to cover themselves, not because they exist. This leads to your item undergoing deep reductions until months later, items are still not sold where other companies list them correctly and they are sold within 2 weeks. I had to demand that they resist my items and correct the mistakes but the listings are worse.
• don’t count on customer service. They answer you from their homes in India, access your personal information from their homes and you can hear animals, babies, kitchen activity and people in the background. It’s atrocious.
They can never give you answers, they say someone will call you back and nobody does.
• emailing them is worse.
• they even have WhatsApp but it turns out that you are talking to another person in India and the conversations get abandoned after 2-3 messages. They don’t know how to reply.
You won’t be able to reach anyone to resolve an issue. I’ve been struggling to get my property back for a year because nobody replies, customer service conversations get abandoned. I’m
Now having to initiate communication via the regulator to get the company to comply. It’s the most atrociously run company and date I say a scam that nobody sees coming till it’s too late.
There’s nobody managing, just low level employees outsourced overseas with little to no training or accountability. What a disaster.

Wrong sizes and repaired items but they do not mention those in details when selling. Sure I understand it is used but when you get a shoes and the souls fall off after I kept them in the car for a day is a shame you could have mentioned that they are freshly repaired and the souls are glued so I would not keep them in my car in the sun! (the glue literally melted).

Second time I ordered a jacket the size on the jacket mentions xxl but the jacket is a xl and I know its the wrong size cause the website mentioned chest to be 54" after measuring it turned our is only 52".

out of three purchases only 1 turned out to be good so keep in mind every 3 purchases you make 1 will be satisfactory!

The worst experience ever.they delay payments.my item was sold on August 17th 2022 and until now they didn't transfer my money claiming I didn't request the payment, which I 100% did on the same day I received the email filling my bank details.why would I fill my bank details and not claim the money? They ignored the ten emails requesting my money and insisted that I never claimed or requested the money. My sincere advice.do not even think of selling your items with luxury closet it is a disaster

Thus far I have made purchases of 4 exclusive watches via my relative and each of them have been a fantastic experience. The watches arrived on time, and it were, if not better, as per the catalogue - genuine and beautifully packaged. The delivery process was a dream and the delivery persons polite and professional. I have their regular client for years but i cannot believe what has happened to this company in the last few months. I have been experiencing the worst customer service ever. Its beyond imagination the incompetence of their staff and customer service. Even so called " VIP" team. I requested the return of my Chanel and Dior bags and its.been a month now and i cant get them.back and fighting to get my own property back. I was happy to hear that Farfetch Second Life has launched in the UAE but guess what - they have partnered with The Luxury Closet and customers are facing the same issues - worst service ever. No respect of any T&C's, responsiveness to emails is non existent and they just keep your bags and keep ignoring you. I really dont know how this is acceptable these days but I do know that they have been losing their customers daily. Definitely not recommended.

When you are unable to confirm the actual condition of the product face to face during the purchase process, it is normal to be worried and doubtful! But at this time, I met some people who understood me and tried their best to help me and answer my doubts. This is my best experience when using "The Luxury closet"!

I would like to publicly thank the two professional staffs, the first one l want to thank is Ishika Jain. She made me feel that I was taken seriously and sincerely responded to many of the ideas and suggestions I made while browsing the product webpages.

Unscheduled promotions on the website are certainly a benefit for customers who are still surveying, but when the order has just been completed or even the goods have not been received, I feel betrayed. Hahaha.

They keep a huge margins for themselves and set a horrendously low payout for your items! Also some of their items on sale are highly questionable! For instance I’ve noticed they label some second hand branded clothes / jewellery as ‘New ‘ blatantly lying to potential customers when you can see the wear and tear and how old some pieces look!
Beware! You’d rather purchase authentic products from a mall at full price & be rest assured that they are indeed authentic and brand new! Also their customer service is pathetic! No response to calls or emails!

I really like the Luxury Closet and felt the current star rating they have isn't reflective of all the good experiences many customers have likely had. I have ordered three things there so far and each item has come in beautiful condition, beautifully packaged and stuffed. They every so often have extra discount code deals. I find my items arrive the next day. On my first purchase the discount didn't come off at check out but I spotted it straight away and they sorted it for me so no problem with customer service there. I also like the fact there are always new arrivals uploaded every day. I will continue ordering from them - a happy customer.

The most incompetent company in the world.
TWICE LOST THE DUST BAGS FROM MY LUXURY ITEMS.
Extremely high commissions, 2-3 times higher than any other website with the same profile.
Very low sales chances (because their prices are so high due to the extremely big commission).
Very slow payments.
Very slow responses.
They should charge less commissions and have a bigger rotation.

Very nice online shop with great selection of amazing branded items at huge discount. I know original prices of items very well, as I do buy from Malls/sites always. Customer service team are very professional and helpful. I'm really surprised of amount of negative comments here as I always buy from them: few times have returned the items: was notified about completion of refund & entire process took just a few days. Have also sold few items & was no issue with payment, etc. I found them very organised and my emails were always followed up. Great site & always the best experience!

Worst customer service and customer experience ever. I kept on receiving ads for their products until a watch caught my interest. Impossible to use the website to actually see it physically (it is an expensive item) and when I called them I was given a whatsapp number to communicate with.after a generic message they simply did not respond anymore despite numerous attempts. Needless to say I will not be using them or their service. Respect for a potential first time client is a basic step. Too bad given the amount they spend on advertising that they can't follow up with actually providing the service or information. NEXT!

It can take over 14 days for them to arrange collection of goods for sale. And Im having major issues with getting paid for items that have sold, despite calling, whatsapping and emailing them they have not been able to fix the IT issue there end on the app for a verification code to issue / validate payment to my bank. I wonder if anyone else is having issues to get paid?

The Luxury Closet in the Novotel Dubai Al Barsha is a great, well stocked luxury brand reseller. The store is in the business tower and is bright and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly, making your shopping experience fantastic. Definitely will be visiting again.

EXTREMELY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. I bought two presents for Christmas and had issues with the two purchases. First, I bought a Visconti fountain pen. Fortunately, I went to the headquarters in Milan and they told me that the actual mechanism was broken. However, the pen was listed in perfect condition. So either, they did not check the pen or they deliberately listed the pen in perfect condition. I don't know which one is worse. The other was a Hermes Carre, for which I had arranged to see three models listed. When i came on-site, they only had one model and had to buy it even if it was not my preferred option.

I love The Luxury Closet. They are a team of very professional, helpful and polite folks. I have sold many of my items through them and they are very thorough with the payments. The app is fantastic and very easy to use especially the “my account” section where I can monitor my items and request payment at any time I want it. They have amazing products on their site. I think they are the best stocked reseller with a huge array of products. They have a very strict authentication process so you can be rest assured their products are all genuine and in good condition. I would definitely recommend The Luxury Closet for both buyers as well as sellers.

I ordered items from their application, I received the order in a couple of days. I was not happy with the fit of the items, so I decided to return them. Through the application I was able to request the return and I called the customer service just to assure that I’ve done things right. Now it’s been more than 12 days and no one showed up to take the items. I called the customer service and they keep promising that they will send someone but never happened. I’m not happy with the customers service not with the return service. I’ll probably not order again from the luxury closet

I had a very bad customer service experience. I called the office and they stated that the item was lost. The charges was refunded but the installment plan was not reversed. And as soon as they have refunded me the charges the item that I am supposed to buy is available back again in the website and until now it is still available which they have said it was lost. The website is very inconsistent. If the item was lost why is it still available? The item was rejected for me and now i have to call my bank more than once to follow up the charges to be reversed.

AVOID! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! We took two rare Hermes handbags (worth USD200k in total) to resell. The first lady (Arabic) was happy to accept them. Five minutes after leaving, we were called to say the bags were fake by the first lady and now a second lady (English) who claimed to be a former Hermes employee, and offered 500AED each. Needless to say we picked them up. They are now with an international auction house. Now, if the bags were fake, why did they not call the police and why would they want to buy them? Buy them to then sell on as real or fake?

There item is much more expensive than the brand new.
Good thing I didn't bought. I was lucky i found the item in the shop that i never expected to be available so immediately bought it in the same amount for used item stated in their website.
