I called before i come, the restaurant supposed to be close at 12am , when i called to ask about last order what time? The lady said 11/ or 11:15 , i arrive at 11:05 the doors were locked and there was a lady who was waving her hand and said its closed already! Waste of time to try a new restaurant, wish if I didn’t reach the place as to go now to another restaurant also will be wasting my time and most of them closed. Bad experience

Arlyn, John, redney, nyasha and Diana are amazing they are very kind and helpful. In the greenroom it is very peaceful and I absolutely enjoy the music a lot, my child and her friend was distracted by the arcade and the outside playground and the pool. I really enjoy Aryln she is the nicest worker there. The food is amazing I really enjoy the margarita pizza. I will definitely come here again to this wonderful place. The greenery is beautiful and pretty. Will recommend. Thank you green room.

We came to Green Room for a pool day with my visiting family. I was disappointed that many items on the menu weren't available. The toilets, although relatively clean, were without tissues to dry your hands - only toilet roll dumped on the side to make up for this. The staff are pleasant though not very present and attentive. Will think again before my next visit. There are better alternatives within the Els Club for for food, drink and service.

Nice atmosphere and food, the portions are good. Also our waiter Benjamin was doing an excellent job looking after us, he was really friendly and helpful!

Absolutely horrible value for money. Still charging the same price for alcohol even though tax was removed. Ordered a smash burger for AED 85 which is on the same level as a AED 20 burger from any take away place.

Great place to have some food and fun. Golf simulator is perfect for the summer months! They also offer a great pool pass fully redeemable on food and beverage, will give it a try next time. The place is defenitely recommended by me!

If you prepared to wait 45 minutes for 1 beverage or either go fetch it yourself then come enjoy your day here. The new management that took over this place are clueless. I don’t blame the staff.

I don’t recommend this place for brunch.
The service is slow, the food is not that much for a brunch.
They made a mistake with the booking and the manager was not giving any solution, not even willing to talk to us.

Over priced for what they serve. Chanade the so called manager has no customer skills and an attitude to any feedback.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and you can sit outside by the pool and they have a playground for kids which is great, BUT unfortunately the food was terrible and highly overpriced:

70 AED for Cheese burger: meat patty was unfrozen and tasted awfully
75 AED Fried Chicken burger: bad chicken and very salty, I think it was first boiled and then fried
70 AED Margherita Pizza: tasted like an unfrozen pizza from the supermarket, dough was unsalted
85 Aed charred corns salad with chicken: small portion and the chicken breast was boiled, we clearly asked for grilled chicken

Coffee and soft drinks was the only thing we liked.

Super overpriced and very bad ingredients, quality and taste. We had the chickenburger, bacon burger, salad and pizza. The burger patty looked like frozen premade patties. The chicken burger was salty and was even worse than KFC standards. The pizza was unseasoned and just mediocre. The chicken salad was also a disaster. All of it tasted worse than petrol station food. Even the ketchup and mayonnaise on the side tasted like the cheap unbranded ones. Really disappointing. Don't expect quality food over there, but expect to pay double the price.

Went here for Saturday Brunch, and it was really good as you get starters to share and one main meal, and you share the deserts and house drink from 13.00 hrs till 16.00 hrs, all for 250 aed each you can't go wrong and great if you have kids, and if you let them know that you have a food allergy they will help, and best of all you get the swimming pool and there is a kids pool. The staff that worked that day could not do enougth to help they help make it a great day.

Truly the most vile brunch I have ever been to. Food was horrific and a disgrace for what the cost is. For example, a main dish (one only per person) consists of a small plate with 5 chicken wings. For a main? ! Only saving grace was the staff. They really tried to make up for the horrible food.

Like the design, average price. Food was tasty but gnocchi isn’t gnocchi at all. Just call it another name. My Italian friend was shocked
A lot of ice in the cocktail and not enough drink by itself. But still I put 5 stars as per good insta, attractive pool, cinema marketing offer, clean place, pool and golf (unfortunately they didn’t say that pool table extra payment). Good choice in menu. Good luck!

Went the the new pool side outdoor cinema night last night. Very cool event and lived the fact you can sit on a inflatable water melon whilst watching the movie. Food was perfect movie food and the food and drinks package was good value. Frank and the rest of the staff were great as usual. Looking forward to more movie classics showing soon

Simply superb. There is no single reason I will rate Dive in Cinema less than 5. The manager "Frank" if I am not mistaken takes care of every guest personally and all other people are there are with excellent service.
Yes, if you are veg. You might not see the options on the menu but they are very flexible, they might replace. They did for us.

Worth of money.

Currently the best roast in Dubai and I've tried many. The food is great and the staff are all friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place.

Location is excellent as it’s in my hood which is a plus. Food is ok too but as some reviews indicate it’s overpriced. Biggest issue is staff. Third time I have been in recent two months and shortage of people on the floor is obvious. I believe they are aware as they are recruiting but a temp fix is needed otherwise what’s the point if you can cannot order food. I would also look at pricing on selected items such as water and soft drinks. These items are just too expensive

Pangolin at Els Golf Club

Sometimes stumbling upon an eatery can be a pleasant surprise. This was the case with our visit to Pangolin at the Els Golf Club in Dubai Sports City. Our first visit was a delight in every respect from the food, to the service and the over all feel of the place. So after a gap of two months we revisited Pangolin. Knowing from our first visit that the restaurant had been acquired by a new group we expected some changes. While no visible changes had emerged we heard that the restaurant was being rebranded and the offering would change from the current theme.

Our two visits had given us the distinct impression that the Pangolin was a hidden gem. Its Mediterranean accented food offering was simply amazing. The food fitted in so well with the poolside presence of the restaurant and had a nice casual feel to it. While one may say the decor looked 'tired' it at best needs a facelift. The menu was well constructed and every item we ordered was well prepared, with just the perfect taste to make it a memorable meal. The Chicken Gyros was absolutely perfect and perhaps the best one could eat outside Greece. From the truffle pizza, to the fish all were a testimony to an excellent concept and meticulous delivery of the food offering.

While the new brand and new theme of the menu will unfold one must stop and think why such a well thought concept should be changed? While it is not our place to suggest the solution one cannot hold back with the view that perhaps what the Pangolin needs is a boost in marketing and a facelift in the decor. However, we await the new brand and concept and shall visit for sure.

I got my food delivered in the pool area and the waitress didn’t bring any cutlery, I asked for it and I have been waiting for 20 minutes staring at my plate.

Very disappointed after much hype. The restaurant looks great but the service and food was mediocre at best.
We ordered a couple of kids fish and chips and we sent it back. The chips were absolutely dripping in cooking oil and had no bite at all. They apologised and then delivered two replacements that were just as bad. How can you not know how to cook chips?
For our dishes we ordered a tomato soup that was boiling hot when it arrived (you never boil soup, ever) so lacked any depth of flavour at all and was watery. The corn and cheese samosas were nice enough but the dip that accompanied them was plain awful. Some charred jalapeño relish that just tasted awful - I couldn’t put my finger on it but it had an awful, over-powering acrid aftertaste that was simply unpleasant.
For mains, I had the lamb neck souvlaki rolls which were actually ok (although no idea how they would come as the waiter was unable to describe the size of them. Wasn’t sure if they were a starter or main). The Kumara potato was just an over cooked sweet potato on a bed of watery greens. The tuna tartar was ok but it came with some very bland, very chewy corn crisps that were inedible.
We didn’t stay for pudding.
A shame as I heard people referencing Tom and Serg which is a place I really like. This was not a patch on T&S. They really need to up their game with the food quality and service in my opinion.

Peppered Rib Eye Steak was the best i liked (medium cooked). Absolutely a good experience and the staffs are so friendly.

We went to a private event last weekend. I am a vegan so I was a bit scared I wouldn’t have a lot to eat since it was a set menu. We let them know in advance and oh boy did the surprise me! They made sooo many options for me to try. It was a feast. Everything was absolutely delicious and I’d definitely recommend that they put all I had in the regular menu. Appetizers were out of this world, even the non vegan people loved them. The main course was really good too and I had a lovely sorbet for dessert.
Very happy with the experience and very thankful to the chef and the cooks for making me such a great meal!

The Pangolin must have the most amazing interior designer and service staff in Dubai! We are always excited by the beauty and people. But when it comes to why we return, it's for the wine list, not the food menu, which is limited and tasteless.

Lovely spot to take the family for a quality breakfast and coffee. Nice playground area for the kids outside and an area inside also. Food was great, along with the service.

I had such an incredible experience at this beautiful location. The drink prices are really competitive, the food was aromatic and tasteful from the new menu they've launched. Well worth the visit.

I plan to have my birthday party in the highlands terrace area after discussing the different packages available with the manager, Frank.

Heard lots of good recommendations of this restaurant as kids friendly restaurant in Dubai.
However our family visit/experience was just ok.
1) We think the food is just 3 stars or less. And it's not valued for money, kinda over priced. Chicken wings we ordered tasted like it frozen chicken wings. The pasta was OK, nothing wow. Fries and burgers, is just like any order fast food cafe/restaurant, nothing particularly great too.
2) And about the tiny Play Area for the kids was the Biggest Disappointment. First of all, all the toys there look like is from Donations. Randomly 1 car there, 1 dinosaur here, puzzles not in complete set etc. Most importantly, they look like very poor maintained, not so clean. We spend 2hrs there, haven't seen any staff do any sanitisation.
3) The overall vibe of the restaurant surrounding was ok. Feel quite cozy with the tables and furnitures setting.
4) If u are in the neighbourhood & just want a quick bites after visit Els Club, then is not bad because it's just next to the pool and golf area.

A wonderful restaurant, friendly stuff and fantastic foods. I shall definitely return with friends!

DISAPPOINTED is the kindest I have to say. In the F&B industry. This was a gift and I. Am so embarrassed! Food sh$t. The Big Easy a better bet. Even MacDonalds suppiorior.

One of the Best food experience, great service with awesome plating and excellent food.you should try their steaks amazing ambience

Potential of this being a top notch restaurant is high, as it is cosy and pretty and you can see the effort of the chef trying to do things unique.

Food quality was poor even though the dishes look amazing.
- Their duck lacks meat, is rubbery and you have to use a lot of strength to yank it off the bone.
- The corn has a good taste to it but them being fancy by having it cut into strips with the cob attached just doesn’t work in terms of eating it easily.
- Their chili prawns and squid (came highly recommended) was ordinary at best, lacking taste of the seafood and the seasoning.
- Seafood Pasta was not bad
- Snow Dome dessert was the best thing of the night.
- Cocktails they recommended were average

We ordered these dishes as a couple and still went home looking for supper (and we aren’t big eaters).

We like the style and the place, so please improve on the food, as it’s rare to find a nice cosy place like this.

Absolutely fantastic. Granted we were celebrating a friend's birthday where we just wanted to experience the chefs creativity. Boy oh boy did he pull out all the stops. We had a dinner inspired by salts from around the world. Each one its own unique flavor. Thank you for such a great experience.

Tuesday night for the ladies is a must. Hence if you want to bring a little one with, downstairs got a kids corner.

If you are a meat lover, try the tomahawk steak (it's for 2 people)! Great food and a good atmosphere. Very popular amongst the locals.

The Pangolin is beautiful inside; lovely decor with warm service. This is a split restaurant with more casual dining downstairs and slightly more refined upstairs but both sides are accessible and friendly. There is a giant terrace upstairs that people should book during the cooler, more tolerable winter months. My review is based on the upstairs restaurant. Food wise, the menu is creative but the execution needs a lot of attention as five of the five dishes I had just did not work. This could be teething issues for a new restaurant but something they need to step back and tackle quickly. There is a lot of potential here due to the location but it is not realising that potential. Wine and drinks are very reasonably priced (yes, it is licensed). Reservations recommended.

Wonderful food and atmosphere at The Pangolin made for pretty much a perfect evening. Our dishes were simple but not basic or pretentious; the vegetarian options were particularly tasty. There was also an extensive drinks menu, with the staff suggesting and explaining the preparation of their cocktails.

A special mention for Strahinja "Frank" who was wonderfully accommodating and ensured we had a top dining experience.

I look forward to coming back, especially to try their upstairs section, which we were told is more focussed on drinks and pub grub in an intimate setting.

Went for breakfast. The place busy, mostly young families, so lots of kids and noise. Had the beef florentine with pouched eggs. The spinach was off the chart good, the eggs cooked well and beef rib was ok. The crumpet didnt do much for presentation or flavor. Servixe lacks a bit, as I had to find my own sugar and no one asked what kind of water I wanted. Was seated away from the crowds by myself so felt isolated.

The upstairs dining is greatly disappointing, like in food is really bad.poor quality and abundant basic food preparation mistakes. Dishing ranging from inedible to tasteless. Staff seems accustomed to dishes being returned to kitchen.

But on the bright side the cocktails are really nice.

The food was good, specially presented. We used the pool, we had a drink, it was an afternoon well spent.

Staff are friendly and helpful, menu is unique, and decor is spot on. Reminds me of a cross between a hunting lodge and a modern cocktail bar. Def make sure you try the house made sausages

Had a lovely first visit. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the interior is modern and charming. I tried their version of avocado toast, which was different yet delicious. I had a coconut latte which was one of the best I’ve ever had (not sure why, but it was!)

Wowza! The food was beyond incredible! We sampled about 10 plates between 5 people AND went for the delicious dessert as well! Bonus beyond the yummy food: staff was awesome, the chef came out to talk to us, and the ambiance was perfect. Completely worth the drive to Sports City!

Nice place with a good view of golf course. Very nice stuff who is trying to comfort you as much as possible. One less star due to the weak meat and cheese platter. Should be way better for the price.

I went a while ago (Feb 2021) so hopefully things have improved. Food was bland and expensive, way to expensive IMO. We booked for 12: 30 but had to wait for the kitchen to open at 13: 00, why did they accept the booking then for 12: 30?
I don't think I will go back.

I was an early visitor to this excellent restaurant and it has been a favourite ever since. It caters for everyone whether families or business, formal or casual. It has a great ambience and the spaces are beautifully designed. The food is prepared by @trotskie Chef Troy and is creative, interesting and delicious.
But the most important aspect is the staff: beautifully led by the hugely impressive owner, Serg Lopez, the front of house staff are attentive, positive, friendly and considerate.
Great Restaurant!

Service was excellent but the food was really bad, not sure if they were having a bad day but even the basic dishes were tasteless and covered in grease. Satay chicken should be simple but it tasted of nothing. Really sad as it's a lovely terrace with friendly staff but won't go back.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Dubai. Excellent, excellent venue, decor and vibe. The restaurant is like 4 locations in one: chill hangout, formal, lounge and cafe. Amazing.

The best drink on the menu: the Freddy. A legend, like it’s namesake. The tequila concoction is also top notch.

From the food, you have to try the steak and the sea bass. The side mushroom are to die for.
